Her slim nimble, body shows the signs of training and a somewhat decent diet. Though if her grandfather and others did not nag her about eating right, she would just eat whatever was the fastest and required less down time. If you can peer posts the messy hair. Personality:
Megumi has a mature and polite demeanor, and when complimented on it she would respond, by saying that her demeanor was a product of her misfortune. Megumi is goal oriented and thinks about her actions and the pros and cons that come with them. Though she may come off as serious, she knows how to have fun even if her idea of fun greatly differs from what the norm of fun would be for a girl her age. She tends to be out of touch with those of her age, due to the amount of responsibility she has put on herself.
Megumi is proud of herself and her craftsmanship. The only thing that wins over herself and work is her family. Megumi or Gumi to her friends, she has been also jokingly referred to as Mise (Shop); by her Grandfather and Boss do to her habit of always being there. Megumi was born in the leaf village, before the events of the samurai invasion. While she looks back at her short, but happy first half of her life fondly. Their feats of controlling many of these highly detailed and complex puppets made their dolls and weapons that they sold, highly sought after. However, it also made them a target to other villages and other looking to profit off of their trade secrets.
Megumi learned her trade from her family as soon as she was able to pick up a tool. She showed a knack for her families craft and showed a natural talent for chakra control. In her later years, she showed a much higher form of Chakra Stringing, that her family dubbed Chakra Weaving. From what Megumi had shown, Chakra Weaving was an ability that allowed her to weave Chakra into objects such as weapons and nets. One would think of how animal horns are formed out of a collection of hardening hair or a spiders web. This was a proud moment for the family, but it also came with new threats. Now Megumi was the target instead of the family as a whole.
Her family's fear was cemented when an unknown enemy tried to kidnap Megumi while her parents were fighting against the samurai invasion. Her Grandmother died in front of her eyes as she protected Megumi. Luckily her Grandfather saved her and they left for the village of the stone. Upon reaching the stone, her Grandfather and herself were given the news of the leaf's destruction and her parent's death.
Even though they were refugees from another village. Their life in the stone was not filled with despair. Of course, the loss of their family and village was deeply saddening. Megumi and her Grandfather did not have the time to mourn their loss. With their knowledge of their craft, they made a decent living with the family trade. Even though her Grandfather still continued to teach her family's trade to Megumi. The events of the past had affected him deeply, and he barred Megumi from signing up to become a ninja.
Megumi's wish was to become a great ninja just like her parents, and her Grandfather's fear of losing his grandfather and only remaining family clashed with each other and worn on their relationship. Even though they would argue with each other constantly they still would never part due to bond and love for each other.
As the years went by, Megumi continued to master her trade and hone her skills. She did not show her ability other than the times that she would put on a play with small or even life-sized puppets for the younger children, and when holidays and Add to dictionary came round. She would put on grand plays to entertain and advertise her shop. In her free time, she was working on developing and Chakra Generator. She was trying to create a tool that could absorb a person's chakra and fire the attack back or use the energy to power an object. On her first test run, the chakra overloaded the generator and caused and explosion that took her arm as payment for her mistake. If you would ask her she would say that her mistake was trying to charge the generator all at once, instead of slowly interjecting the chakra in as a safety precaution.
After she was released from the months of hospitalizations. Her Grandfather became, even more, protective of her and restricted her activities and work to a standstill. Megumi somehow convinced her Grandfather to help her make a new arm for herself, with all kinds of poisons and weapons nestled secretly inside.
Upon hearing that the stone was funding and undertaking an effort to revive the leaf. Megumi and her Grandfather offered their services in a heartbeat, their will of fire had not faltered at all through the years.
Moving back to their old home. The two of them immediately began assisting with the plans and construction of the leaf. While they added their fire back into the village, her Grandfather's will was slowly fading. He tried to hide his sickness from her, but Megumi knew her Grandfather better than anyone. Confronting him about his illness and discovering that it was fatal. The situation between the two had changed, where Megumi was now limiting her Grandfather from taking part in the construction.
Presently the two are now living at their ancestral home, that they rebuilt together. Megumi has put a band on hard labor towards her Grandfather, whose health is in a decline as the years go on. She works at a ninja tool shop, to pay for her grandfather's medicine and their tight, but comfortable life. She has refused the offer from the village to assist her with her living expenses, and the Ayatsuri’s offer to adopt or her Megumi’s words integrate and steal the Tanigawa’s secrets for themselves.
Though juggling her family, training, work and her application to the Ninja Academy. Megumi may have to make sacrifices to either her pride or family.
