Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Apparently, the teamwork between Mao, Unmei, and Surutameni worked. That much was obvious as the golem that the demon-possessed and beast cloned boy was seated upon began to crumble. He and Unmei leapt from the creation's back as it collapsed, their feet touching down upon the floor with like 'tak-tak' noises as the stones spewed from it, causing the flames that billowed about them to weaken. The jutsu that kept the two as identical feral twins was cancelled shortly after they touched down, and the pair were both boy and bird once again. Coughing through the dust of the mess they created, Suru's crimson shaded gaze would scan the room, his eyes settling briefly upon Yanshi, noting the obvious expression that was plastered upon her face.

'Heh. Seems she didn't think we were good enough for her or Kyuji.'<i></i> The darkness of his mind seemed to allow the true Suru to be overly confident as he stuck his tongue out in a raspberry and made some other rather rude gestures towards the pregnant woman seated far from the combat. 'Suck it!' </COLOR><i></i>The demon merely showed its toothy grin inwardly at the boy. Amused by the cocky attitude it's host had taken.

Finally though, the duo and bird were freed from their fiery prison, and upon composing himself and clearing the dust from his lungs, Suru would stand defiantly. Mao had run off to assist Azusa, but he had remained in place, ready for what would surely come next. They hadn't managed to get a single headband and that was irksome. None the less, a rather corrupt smirk would plaster itself over his visage, clearly both the entity and the young ninja enjoying the thrill of combat and the comments that had flowed from the Lady Yanshi shortly thereafter. It didn't matter that there was a warning buried within the few compliments she had graced them with, no. Nothing really seemed to phase him at this point as his confidence soared. 'I can get one. We just need to work together!'</I><i></i> The thoughts slipped through his head; filled with that ego of his.
-----------

That is until something changed. The darkness Suru had been surrounded in seemed to glow and vibrate with something. All of a sudden the young shinobi coughed, not the typical cough one would have from getting dust in their lungs, but the violent sort. A rush of pain shot through the boy's body and he doubled over, his amber eyes slipping to stare at the glossy blackness beneath him. Only, the difference was that the blackness wasn't well... Black. Instead it was a deep crimson hue, which could only mean one thing. Blood. His mouth opened in a silent scream, only to let more of that thick liquid pour out to meet the river beneath him.
-----------

Meanwhile, outside his mind the expression upon his face twisted. That smirk disappearing under a grimace of anguish as the muscles within his face contorted. Even with the demon in control there was no stopping the sudden change or the shock that blasted through in a single swift shot."F-Fuck you!"<i></i> The words were a struggle to gasp out, even for the creature. It wasn't pleased and the emotions warred across his visage, twisting it ever further. It didn't help he was basically shouting at thin air, not knowing where their instructor was at this point.

Even Unmei was agitated by the current predicament, the bird diving his companion and buffeting his face with his wings.
-----------

Suru fell to his knees, struggling to keep himself from collapsing entirely into the bloody mess that surrounded him. He couldn't think, he couldn't breath, he couldn't even so much as call out to that jerk of a wolf that inhabited his body. Thankfully though, he didn't have to as the creature was right there with him. Something was different here though too, a whoosh of panting breath washed over him. The air stank of death and decay, much like the young shinobi had thought. "Hello there. You seem to be in pain.... Should I end it for you?"</GLOW><i></i> The boy would blink as he did his best to look up at the large demon before him. In front? No, in fact the creature was towering OVER Suru, it's gaze looking rather hungry. Was it eyeing him? What? Why? They were stuck in the same body! How was this even possible? Suru's inner mind worked hard, gears churning to figure out what was going wrong but nothing seemed to be an answer. All he knew was that he was stuck in his own head, bleeding out and this thing now thinking about eating him. <I>"No! Get away you bastard!"

"Ah, but Suru... Why would you want to live through this? This is true pain. Let me end it. Let. Me. END. IT!"<i></i> The wolf's maw would open wide, saliva dripping onto Suru's face as it darted forward. His eyes squeezed shut as it was obvious this was the end, and in the bind that he was in, he couldn't escape it. This is what he feared. He would be devoured from the inside out and in the end the only thing that would exist would be the demon.

Moments pasted by, moments that felt like hours -- But no, it didn't end and Suru's eyes cracked open to see that he was still within his own mind, still with blood pouring from his body. What was this? Kyuji had done something hadn't he? Padding paws echoed through the silence, the sounds sending a shiver up his spine. <COLOR color="#0000BF"><GLOW glow="#0000FF">'Shit. I really am going to dye aren't I?'

"Suru. Wake up. This isn't real." The demon wolf was there now, once again, it's toothy grimace planted squarely in his face. "Get. Up. NOW!"

"G-GET AWAY FROM ME!" The boy scrambled back as best his broken body would let him, slipping in the ever growing flow of blood beneath him. "STAY BACK! If you kill me we both die! REMEMBER THAT!?" Suru was shouting at this point, he was clearly convinved that he was going to meet his end right here, right now.

"Shut it, boy! If I had wanted to kill you I would've! Now, wake up! Kyuji used a genjutsu. You should have enough sense to notice that. You're pathetic. Waste of space. You will never be a formidable shinobi if you cower at something like this!" The wolf snapped and leapt forward, fore-paws crushing into the boy's shoulders and chest, pinning him to the ground with his mouth mere inches from him. "Now. Are you going to listen?" The words hissed from between the clenched jaws.

That small -- (Well, we could call it small but we know better) -- push seemed to help snap Surutameni from the hold that Kyuji had had upon him. He blinked, each time his eyes closed and opened the blood faded from his mind-realm. The problem was, he couldn't be sure if it was over. Not yet anyway, something else had to happen for him to be sure, but what exactly? That was still to be determined.

Within mere moments of inflicting the students with his mind games, the true fun that came from each one of them began to his delight and his wife's. Under different genjutsu, he had no idea how each of the students would react to the deadly tactics nor did he know what they were truly experiencing. You see, that is the fun of using Genjutsu on victims, you have no idea what they witness and experience throughout all of it unless you allow yourself to be taken under a Genjutsu and experience its hellish infamy beforehand. Luckily for Kyuji, he never had to deal with these mental games aside from when he was in the academy back in his home country where their teacher was a mere chunnin and had decided to play the clone game with them, truly no fun.

But, back to our little story at hand! It appeared from every indication that all of his tricks had worked as each of the students were responding horribly to the mind game. Unfortunately for Mao, her little tremor that she decided to attempt failed miserably as the attack headed to the other side of the training area before crashing into the wall and leaving damage. But, she was the quickest to get out of the genjutsu and Kyuji had to admit he was impressed by her. However, the squirming and feeling of suffocation that she experienced earlier was quite alarming to the senior shinobi when he watched. Something truly traumatic that had scarred her must have appeared before her mind and she got to enjoy the hellish torment once again, oh joy! As for the other reckless child in the room, Surutameni apparently had withstood the bloody tricks that played on his mind making him feel like he was bleeding and dying. Kyuji could see when his jutsu first hit the boy as the body twitched and responded horribly along with the barely audible "fuck you" being heard. Luckily for the boy, he somewhat had fought out of the trick possibly with the demon's help, which Kyuji could only shake his head and think to himself how amazing these students all were doing--

But, that thought quickly changed as Kyuji heard the little ginger and fox-like girl begin to speak spewing lies out to his wife. You could tell from her voice that she was scared seeing the shinigami with its blade staring down at her looking to murder her and take her to the other side of this realm of living. Luckily, it was only an illusion which quickly was cancelled when she began to exaggerate the truth towards Yanshi. But, the accusations of thinking she was better looking than his wife and that he wanted his kid to look like Azusa was preposterous, though, she was a cute girl. She definitely was putting on a show however as he could see her crying in front of his wife and shaking uncontrollable, but maybe it was the terrible creature looming over her. Who really knew.

Yanshi had not moved an inch nor reacted to the girl until her comment on gingers being Kyuji's favorite and preferring her ears over the neko-ones of Yanshi. As soon as she said that, the skin tone of the head of the branch grew darker and her eyes began to glow the same golden hue as Kyuji's. She had actually changed her peaceful demeanor and body language to a more irritated and pissed off one as her eyes stared right into Azusa's. Her hands cracking could be heard as she placed her hand to her side before beginning to throw ice needles at the girl with both of her hands rapidly before creating a frozen spear and chucking it at the girl. At the rate that the projectiles were flying and at the velocity that they were flying, it was clear as day to the descendant of Byakko that his lady had murderous intent behind her throws.

At the rate that they were going, there was little to no time for someone as young and unskilled as Azusa to react thus she was probably closing her eyes and bracing for impact while Mao was probably rushing towards her to block the attack as she was a human shield. Sadly if Mao was headed towards Azusa, it wouldn't be fast enough as the needles had hit their mark with pinpoint accuracy along with the spear driving itself through the chest, but luckily not piercing any vital organs in the process. However, the scene was a rather bloody one to put it mildly as there was a huge pool of blood in front of the ginger-haired girl if her eyes were still open. But, the girl was not harmed at all, no she looked pretty much unharmed from the attack aside from maybe the mental images that would haunt her nightmares for the days to come. As for Yanshi, she had rushed from her spot and the look on her face told the story that the words could not truly describe as the figure fell to his knees in front of Azusa facing the girl in full display to everyone.

Blood was pouring from his back and mouth and the needles had pierced some of his muscles in his back as his head fell to his chest. Lady Yanshi would only take a few seconds to be beside her husband lifting his head to look into his eyes where she could see he was still with them but he was slowly losing consciousness. In probably one of the most graphic scenes for Ninpocho Chronicles rating system, she slowly began to yank the spear out of his back and the blood continued to pour from his back and mouth. Fortunately for everyone, Kyuji would stir enough to put his hand up to indicate to his wife to stop as he stayed on his knees struggling to breath through the coughing. That is when he waved her over to him and whispered into her ear telling her to use a fire jutsu to melt the spear instead of trying to yank it out even if it scarred his skin. As it stood, the spear was keeping him from bleeding even more and he could at the very least gasp for air. Slowly, Yanshi would go through the required handseals and released a weak fire ninjutsu on his back which began to melt the structure but clear signs of pain were on his face as he clenched his teeth together.

This melting process would feel like an eternity for Kyuji, but it was only a good five minutes before the spear had melted soaking the back of his clothes. His wife then attended to his back injuries emitting a green aura over his back as she addressed Azusa with her head turned to the side to avoid eye contact with the girl: "Aikayume Azusa, do you see what you did? You are the reason that Kyuji is hurt now...how can you be so reckless and uncaring?! This man is trying his hardest to test you three and all of you are unappreciative and snide little assholes to him. Let's talk with you first, Surutameni. You are a damn freak of nature and you already tried to murder Kyuji one time and he saved your sorry ass from that woman in the Undersea? Did you ever say thank you to him for helping you that day when you were dying slowly because you couldn't control that demon?! Now, let's go to Mao. You have some incredible defense with your body, but you are so damn reckless and so unpredictable...you are going to get yourself or your team murdered if you don't start to know the limitations of your body. You are only human, you still bleed the same blood as everyone else and still get hurt the same way...stop being so reckless or you are going to need to see Kyuji all the time in the Hospital and trust me, we don't have enough medics around anymore to attend to every little injury that you will sustain." Her gaze would then turn to Azusa as she finished: "As for you, do you have any respect for the Toraono Clan? The Byakko Clan? For Kyuji and I? Yourself? You try to play this perfect angel who would never do anything wrong, but yet you act just like a fox...mischievous, sly, and cunning. Honestly, you used the one thing that you knew would dig under my skin against Kyuji.....and I..*sob*...hurt...*sob*..him. You are a cruel human being for being a damn priestess who is suppose to take over the Aikayume Shrine and housing. You of all people that are taking this exam should know how to properly act. What a disgrace."

As her bitchiness was on full display, the wounds to Kyuji's back had been healed and she was checking on him from the front. But, he refused more treatment as he would slowly try to get up from his knees much to Yanshi's disapproval. But, he managed to get to his feet as his wife would grab his arm and begin to walk him away. But, he would only sit down beside her leaning against the wall to recuperate slowly as he slowly began to address everyone in the room: "Well, it seems like I really got hurt there much to Yanshi's disapproval. But, I will be just fine, nothing serious that won't recover with time. But, Yanashi, you didn't need to spew your opinion about them to their faces and hurt their feelings and piss them off even more. I know you are being defensive of me like any good wife or husband would be for their spouse, but that was uncalled for and you know you went overboard. But, we can't change that now and we will address this later I suppose...but I never have said or thought that about her. She is like twelve, that is just disgusting to even think about someone that young that way. Yanshi, please, I know you are upset but you don't need to take it out on them anymore. As for you three, this fight isn't over...as long as I can stand, I can and will stop you from taking these headbands. So, let's begin."

He would slowly get up with lots of pleas from Yanshi to stop being macho and to not do this as they proved enough. But, he wanted the students to win these headbands fair and square even if he wasn't at his best. He would gingerly walk away from his wife putting his bare fists in front of him to fight them, but there were clear signs of fatigue on display. His chakra levels were dangerously slow and this was going to be his last moves here and now. If they could withstand him or work together, they were going to all graduate and be genin finally. But, there were some tricks still left in these desperate times for Kyuji, but it would depend on how quick he could react and what they planned on doing. As for Yanshi, her ears on her head were lower after being scorned for what she did and she knew that she was at least a little in the wrong even if she was a woman and she was suppose to be right all the time. She even looked at the students and said sorrowfully that she was sorry with a look of disappointment and hurt on her face.

Her ragged breaths gradually controlled themselves once her lungs finally had their fill on the oxygen she'd been deprived, steadily calming the blind rage that dulled her senses. The sounds of Azusa's sobbing and Suru's hurried shuffling was the first that she detected whilst regaining her composure, slowly glancing between the two still trapped in their minds. She wasn't the only one that had to experience a glimpse of their end; so it was all an illusion. A figment of her imagination. Nothing more...Right? Amidst the desperate pondering her gaze drifted toward the moderate amount of damage she had caused to the far wall, her senses blurring once more as the flashing imagery took focus in her mind:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Smashed bits of rubble burst into the air in the wake of Mao's outlash, finally freeing herself of the metallic hold that bonded her to the ground. Unfortunately, the larger man above her still kept her head trapped in his palm, and the steady cascade water continued to block her airflow. Between her weak chokes for breath, she heard the clattering of metal next to her. Her freed hand frantically scavenged a shard of the cold steel that had once limited her movement, only to take aim and thrust upon the man's arm, the makeshift blade gripped so tightly that it dug into her own palm. The first stab barely scraped his thick skin, but the second one drove home into his wrist, causing his hand to spasm and retract far enough for the girl to turn and cough up the water in her mouth.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And just as quickly as her vision blurred away, it returned, blinking a few times as she once again reeled to keep herself in the present moment. Had she truly broken free, or was her mind still at play? Suru's outbursts and Azusa's frightened pleading suggested that she was the only one with her wits about her. If that's the case, then what did she just see? A recount of the instant recollection caused her to bring her right hand into view, palm turned upward to reveal the mark etched haphazardly along her skin's surface. A gash that had almost entirely healed. She could have gotten that anywhere considering how careless she can be. Of course. This was all in her head. While still in the process of shaking off her confusion, the silence from Suru caused her head to turn to the boy. His expression had calmed, and he looked as if he were returning to his own senses as well. "...Hawkboy?" In the chaos it was difficult for her to try and remember whether or not she had heard his name before, which left only the moniker the priestess had supplied for him.

Little time was given for anyone to set their bearings in this challenge. The crackle of the distant lady's hands that filled the air brought upon an otherworldly sense of impending doom which could only be confirmed once Mao had turned to face the scene setting stage before her. That piercing stare aimed at her mind-trapped teammate spoke of no mercy, and the action that followed rang true to that very statement. Mao's reaction time had always been quite impeccable, as well as her sense for danger, and not an instant was spared between her noticing the life-threatening situation Azusa had been plunged into and the stoneskin teen rushing in to take it for her. However, Yanshi had her well-beaten with vast experience as a shinobi. In a blur, she darted to leap in front of the shorter redhead, and fell to the ground just as she heard the spear sink into flesh. Turning her head back to face the original target, a rush of relief washed over her as she saw the girl without a scratch. Interestingly enough, upon looking down at herself, she could readily tell that she went through the entire ordeal unscathed either. But how...? The answer was easily pieced together once she had set her sights in front of her; Kyuji at his knees, barbed with every sharp projectile that had been thrown. The vast amount of blood escaping his body pooled outward, steadily approaching the girl. The stench of the sanguine liquid filled her nostrils, and yet another scene overtook her in a moment of remembrance:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mao's weary and weakened form crawled forward as fast as she could in her desperate escape, but could only make a few feet of distance before a heavy blow struck the back of her head. Her face pressed against the ground, body once again pinned down by the man leaning his knee atop her back. The wounded hand that kept her head down let loose a few small drops of blood that sank into a puddle of water before her eyes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"It's not enough." That dreaded voice was all too familiar, recounting the man's exact words as she watched Kyuji's distressed wife rush to his side. "Not even close. Just a scratch." Mao held an even expression as Yanshi administered the medical assistance being instructed to her, clearly grieving over the damage she had accidentally caused. "Everyone's got something to lose. Friends, wealth, loved ones..." As an air of panic filled the room, Mao was left looking completely detached. Once the spear had melted and his wound sealed, Lady Yanshi was quick to turn and continue to lash out against the trio. Unfortunately, the words she spoke were merely muffled in comparison to the booming voice that echoed in her head. "The only way to keep them safe is to take them from others." Kyuji was now insistent upon getting back to the challenge at hand, much to his beloved spouse's chagrin. He wasn't finished yet. Not even close. "The only way to keep them safe is to complete your mission." The sense of finality in the man's speech managed to resonate with the girl, holding a look of bold determination as she rose to her feet.

Once again, she began with a mad dash directly toward Kyuji without a moment's hesitation. Despite her impressive speed, her manner of attack was becoming dreadfully predictable. However, this time, an imperceptible flicker followed her blurred moments in the midst of her approach, masterfully copying herself with condensed earth and evading sight as her double continued forward. (Rank C Ninjutsu - Stunt Double > Rank D Earth Ninjutsu - Mud Clone) Once she finally neared her target, as Kyuji may be expecting another standard blow from his student, her entire body would instead abruptly explode into a mass of thick mud, revealing it's true nature as a mere copy of Mao as it attempted to cover the injured and weary man and keep him from fleeing.

While he still may have had a trick up his sleeve to potentially evade the trap, it served only as a distraction to the true attack. A moment later, Mao would suddenly flicker back into view in front of her sensei, overcome with intense focus. Her movement was sudden and precise, as if it had been calmly calculated from afar, her right arm thrusting forward. Instead of a fist, her hand had flattened with her fingers squeezed together like a knife. The impact was so forceful that her unyielding appendage pierced through his flesh, passing through his body in a manner similar to that of a blade. Just as his wife's icy spear had entered his body earlier, Mao's arm had skewered the man's chest in it's place. His vital organs were once again missed, but his body was left pinned, which meant the headbands weren't nearly as elusive as they have been for the trio. Mao herself remained perfectly still, Kyuji subjected to that intense stare as they were left face-to-face. "Complete my mission." She quietly muttered, seemingly to herself. Even as his wife looked onward after apologizing for her prior outburst, there wasn't a hint of guilt or remorse for taking advantage of her sensei's fragile state.

"Wh-what..." Warm droplets of blood splashed onto the kitsune's cheeks; the proof that everything had gone so horribly right for her. The 'Reaper Spirit' petrifying her with its illusory presence was dispersed, Kyuji had returned to the scene and revealed himself just as she had hoped for, and even protected her from Yanshi's wrath as Azusa had gambled...But the way in which he did everything was far, far from what she had expected, hoped, or ever wanted. "S-S-SENSEI!" She yelled out; but anything more was impossible for her, her mind being shocked with disbelief over the scene in front of her.

...She had never meant for Kyuji to be harmed. She was fine with Lady Yanshi despising her, but not with Kyuji using himself like that. (...Please, don't be hurt too badly. Please, don't die.) If she had caused Kyuji suffer any lasting injuries -or in the worst case, death- Azusa's mind would not be able to take it.

"Lady Yanshi...I...I just did what a Shinobi would do..." No, Azusa knew she did exactly what should have done; she saw an opportunity and took it.
...But it's result was unbearably dreadful. "...But I'm so, so sorry. I-I-I didn't know sensei would do that..." Is that what would lie ahead of her after the exam? She never meant to cause harm, she wanted to support. It was a harsh realization that acting fully as a ninja required a much colder mentality than she could endure as of now.

Yanshi's words hit hard. Like a cold spear of icy harshness. Azusa could only reflect silently while Kyuji was attended too, and yet, once he got to his feet he made a point about the test continuing. Why did Kyuji-sensei still insist on continuing? Didn't he understand how cruel of a situation that was to put her in? He was clearly hurt, regardless of the healing he had received. How could she be expected to even try to attack Kyuji after what had just happened? Her will to continue was completely shattered between Kyuji's injury and Yanshi's words. If she were alone, perhaps she'd quit...
...But she wasn't alone, and what held her together was not wanting to hold Mao or Suru back.

"...I see. Fine." Continuing from this point would be painful for Azusa, but refusing to continue wasn't an option. Her choice was clear to her once again. Yanshi was right; as much as she detested continuing against Kyuji, 'playing perfect' was just going to get someone hurt. She wanted to end this, however sly, cunning, or mischievous she had to be.

So when Mao acted, Azusa rushed in with her in a surprising turn of events. She'd stay a step behind Mao, or a copy of Mao -it didn't matter- using them to cover her way towards Kyuji. She wouldn't attempt to harm Kyuji; to be honest, Mao's stonecold expression and willingness was both admirable and frightening to Azusa...but she understood someone needed to be that way in this situation. Regardless, the priestess grabbed two slips of paper from within her sleeves; seals, to be precise. If Mao could distract, or better yet, subdue Kyuji, Azusa could find time to press the seal against Kyuji to suppress his chakra. (Chakra Suppression Seal).

Regardless of success, once the papers left her hands she'd clasp her hands together, creating the pale blue flames of her foxfire that engulfed her hands and direct them to Kyuji. If hit by them, he'd find himself set ablaze...but not feel any actual burning or pain, only a mild discomfort. The foxfire wouldn't harm him directly; but it would rapidly dehydrate and weaken him further, (Dehydration)

Azusa didn't want to harm Kyuji. No promises for Mao or Suru though.

Surutameni had managed to come out of the Genjutsu relatively unscathed, though his mind would gnaw at him now and again, threatening to bring back those images and threats that had passed just recently. He had been picking himself up off the ground as the insults from the dear Lady Yanshi were flung at him. His amber eyes flared with irritation, bordering on rage at the woman. He scoffed at her, gaze narrowing to mere slits. "Tch, Look lady. At least I can say that it wasn't my choice to attack him. You are one to talk! Look at what you did to your own husband! Your jealous rage blinds you." He bristled at her visably, his expression a haughty sneer. "Get a fucking grip." The boy had snapped, he was irritated that she would direct her annoyance at him and stab at the one thing he was beginning to hate about himself. That damn demon.

Either way Suru turned away from her and looked to the damage that had be wrought upon Kyuji by his own wife. The words from their instructor weren't particularly grand, at least to the youth, but all the same he knew and understood. This wasn't done until they got the headbands, or failed completely. 'Damn it man. Shut up and let's finish this. Those girls better not hold me back.' He shook his head slowly, once more shifting his attention when his newly applied moniker was called. "Let's finish then, shall we?" His cold gaze was a warped mixture of crimson and amber as he once more pulled his weapon from its scabbard. Tenka was still his sword of choice, and the blade gleamed with a sinister light, the metal whispered softly as it was drawn.

The boy, his inner demon, and his bird watched for a split second as Mao launched her assault on the injured man. Azusa and her seals not far behind it would seem. 'Now or never. Right?' Suru would nod curtly to Unmei as he dashed forward, the tip of the blade screaming across the floor, sparks kicking up as the boy charged at the now mobbed Kyuji. If luck would have it, Mao would have him pinned in place and Azusa's seals and fire would be doing their work. If not, and their instructor escaped, Suru would right his course and fall upon him without mercy.'I'm sorry... Kyuji. Forgive me for this.' The blade would twist around the boy's body, tight within his grasp as he struck at the man. One swing. The sound of the wind over the blade causing it to sing. Two swings. If he was struck the man would be drained of more chakra, the flashy strikes pulling it from him in the form of a lotus flower.

While all of this was going on, Unmei would've followed the initial upward pull of the blade and rocketed towards the air, waiting for the right moment to dive for the headbands. If Mao had retrieved hers, the hawk would go for the remaining two. His talons outstretched as he dove past the man, to snag the items and fly off with a triumphant cry.

The demigod and descendant of Byakko stood with his fists up in front of him ready to end this once and for all. Like it had been the entire exam, it appeared Mao was going to strike first at him and her moves were becoming too predictable as he anticipated her. He was ready to use his last few ounces of strength and knock her down for the count, but something was definitely wrong and Mao had played a trick on him as the Mao that was in front of him exploded and covered him in mud getting him stuck in place as the real girl revealed herself to the entire room. The scene that was in display mere moments later was ugly to say the very least as the girl's entire appendage pierced through his flesh and out the other side just like his wife's icy spear had done mere moments earlier; blood was spilling from his chest again and his head fell with a smile on his face as he winced in pain. "You...got...me...Mao...."

But the group was not done there! Little fox-girl Azusa actually had kept up with Mao when Mao had attacked keeping only a step or two behind the taller girl. It seemed she was being brave even though everyone could see that she was upset about the words spewed at her by Lady Yanshi. However, Kyuji did not see Azusa place a seal on him but could feel something like a slap on him before feeling a slightly mild discomfort which had to be coming from her since the other two students had not shown any real Genjutsu or fire skills in this fight. He wasn't sure it was even her that did it but he could feel his body growing weaker as the blood continued to seep out and his body was slowly becoming dehydrated.

Lastly, the crazed demon boy and his bird could not wait to join the fray as Surutameni picked up speed with his blade going on the ground and struck at Kyuji seeping what remaining chakra he had in him out of his body and officially ending any thoughts of the instructor finishing them off. A stream of tears would begin to fall from Kyuji's eyes as he fell backwards falling onto the ground with a smile on his face. The thud said it all about this part of the exam, they had won as the bird pecked the man's body until he found the headbands and yanked them out of the belt pouch they were in. The students had gotten their headbands and knocked out their instructor. At this point, Lady Yanshi had ran from her spot and was tending to her husband's wounds again trying to close them up once again. Luckily for everyone, Kyuji had a sort of regeneration gene in him so the injury wasn't too severe and it closed up nicely. The man would look peaceful as he was resting and slowly regaining his breathing after having a short period where he was gasping for air.

While he was recovering, his wife would rise and look at the three students in front of her. She was evaluating them all and calculating the total points that they needed to pass according to Kyuji's rubric. Remarkably and probably out of guilt for acting out like she did, she smiled and said: "You all passed. I graded this portion of your exam just now and you all received enough points to graduate from the academy. Kudos to you! Those headbands are actual headbands and you should wear them with pride as you deserved them. As for your instructor, he is recovering just fine and he will be good in a little bit. Azusa, please stay, but Surutameni and Mao, you two may go. However, please make sure to check your mail daily as I am sure you will be hearing from either Kyuji or me. Again, congratulations!"
This Portion of the Exam:
Azusa: 7.5 for headband, 4 for teamwork
Mao: 7.5 for headband, 5 for teamwork
Suru: 7.5 for headband, 5 for teamwork

Total Points:
27/20
27/20
25.5/20

Graduation Requirement(70% so 24.5 points):
Azusa:
[progress]100[/progress]
Mao:
[progress]100[/progress]
Suru:
[progress]100[/progress]

CONGRATS! YOU PASSED!
OOC: You may leave the thread now. Azusa, please stay, I think you know why.

Y'know, that hawk really made Azusa want some kind of pet of her own. "You're bird is pretty useful. It's kinda cool."l. She couldn't help but gaze at it longingly each ime it swooped near her...
...OR perhaps that was just her animalistic blood growing stronger within her, and edging her to hunt it. Either-or.

"...G-good job, Mao. You can be pretty scary when you want too...bleh...!!" Azusa held back her digust; turning away from Kyuji once it was clear that he wasn't moving anywhere from Mao, her expression notably green. Really, it seemed that before long Azusa was just going to get 'used to' all the grisly wounds since people around her seemed all too-content with being torn through repeatedly. Still, that didn't mean that she didn't feel any less like throwing up right now...

But had they really done it? The priestess was doubtful; doubly so when it seemed like Lady Yanshi was congratulating them 'earnestly' after her outburst earlier. "...Is it really over?.." She didn't quite trust Yanshi was being sincere, so kept her distance and guard up. Could you blame her? Yanshi had fully intended to impale her earlier...Sure, Azusa felt guilty over taunting her...but that didn't stop Azusa from glaring at her with a skeptical scowl.

"H-huh?" Azusa's ears drooped down when Yanshi called her over to remain behind, thinking she was about to be further scolded by Yanshi. Or worse. And this time Kyuji was recovering, too..."I...I said I was sorry, Lady Yanshi. I really meant it! I didn't even want to fight Kyuji anymore..." Azusa explained. In truth, it was selfish of her; she was not strong enough to hold back against someone like Kyuji; she was very lucky that Suru and Mao were reliably able to pick up the slack she left, but even then it was still unfair to them. Azusa knew she was indebted to them now...She'd have to find a way to repay them.

...Provided Yanshi didn't murder her as soon as they were alone.

As the other two newly-passed Genin did their own little thing, little Azusa would stay behind as asked by Lady Yanshi and her body language told the story more than any words could. She appeared to be scared and probably fearful of what was going to happen to her considering this same lady had tried to impale her with an icy spear mere moments earlier, but hurt her husband instead. But probably to her surprise, Lady Yanshi actually walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder with a smile on her face as she responded to her: "I admit I was mad when you first made that allegations about my beloved Kyuji. But, I forgive you for making them as you were just using everything at your disposal. Also, do not worry about Kyuji at all, he just drained himself of his chakra but he will be alright. He can get a little "reckless" when he gets excited that's all." The head of the Byakko would stop momentarily as her mind wandered to the images of meeting Kyuji for the first time and taking him that night and seeing the destruction of the room after they were done. If there was one thing about Kyuji, he was an amazing lover in her eyes and would be a great father when she gave birth. But, her reminiscing of their first encounter would be cut off quickly as her facial expression would change to pain as she crossed her arms over her stomach and bent over in pain. The child was kicking around and she was due any day now to have their child whose gender still had not be determined considering they wanted it to be a surprise.

Obviously, Azusa would probably ask if she was okay and she would lie and she was but it was obvious that she wasn't. While in this pain, her lover would slowly get up and walk gingerly over to them both placing his hand on her back and rubbing her as he asked what was going on. His wife obviously would explain that she was in pain and that she apologized to Azusa for attacking her like she did. This was when Kyuji looked at the little ginger-haired Genin and said with a smile on his face: "It is true that you passed and I did take the bullet metaphorically for you from my love here. But, please understand that if I didn't block the attack...Mao was right there to protect you too but those attacks would've killed both of you. See, I know Yanshi's moves so I could block them the proper way without having permanent damage. However, my chest does hurt a lot from that spear going through it. But! I should be okay!"

At this point, Yanshi was still in pain as she felt more painful kicks coming from inside of her as she shut her eyes in pain. Then, it happened! The water broke. She would look up at Kyuji and tell him. This would prompt him to look at her with a shocked look on his face as he told to get on his back. He would look at Azusa as well and say: "Azusa, come with us. I need you to assist me in delivering our child since we are too far from the actual hospital and there should be at least two medics in the infirmary at any time." Regardless, he would begin to walk with his wife on his back at a quickened pace towards the infirmary kicking doors or shoving them open as there was no time to waste. Once they got to the infirmary, he would place his wife on a hospital bed and begin to get the materials ready to start. If Azusa tagged along, she could hear Yanshi in pain as she was moaning and groaning with tears beginning to form on her face from the pain. It was time for the birth.

Azusa flinched when Lady Yanshi moved to touch her...But to her surprise, there was no pain or bloody murder or any violence whatsoever. Surprisingly, it seemed the Byakko lady held no malice towards her at all. At least not visibly."....You're not mad? Really?" Azusa questioned, confused...but glad. "...Okay!" You'd be glad to if someone capable of breaking you apart and freezing those pieces no longer wished to do so.

So...was that it? Yanshi had seemed to gaze off, leaving the small priestess to wonder if that was all she had wanted her to remain behind for, to simply let her know she didn't have to stay up at night fearing for her life being targeted by some Byakko assassin. I mean, Azusa was completely good with that being it. Becoming a Genin and still living? Life was great!

...But it seemed the bright-haired woman's daydreaming was interrupted by something causing her distress. "H-huh? Lady Yanshi...are you okay?" Obviously, she wasn't given how she was slouched over...but Azusa didn't know how else to respond. Kyuji moved like the good husband he was to check on his wife; apparently, he was quite familiar with her techniques, knowing exactly how to take them, and also causing Azusa to wonder what, exactly their relationship was like. Actually, she really didn't want to know.

On the side note; it seemed that not only Kyuji, but also Mao had moving to protect her again, too. The priestess had a wall of protectors between her and Yanshi, although that was a highly conflicting feeling. Azusa definitely appreciated it, but she also didn't; she did not exactly like the image of being someone needed to be protected. Especially if anyone took and serious harm from an attack meant for her; Azusa would be pissed. (I guess that means I have to protect her next time.) Afterall; Azusa couldn't let Mao go on and think she was stronger than her or what not (even if she was, that was completely besides the point; Mao didn't have to know she was).

...Back to the topic at hand; "...She's having a baby?? Now? " Azusa stated in disbelief. What was Yanshi doing here and not in bed or anything? And more importantly, did Kyuji say he wanted her there? With Yanshi and her birth? Azusa didn't know anything about babies other than they were small and made alot of noise...Azusa went on to stammer about how she couldn't help, but Kyuji was having none of it and wasted no time in charging towards wherever he planned to take his wife. With no other options, Azusa eventually regained enough situational awareness to proceed after him, "I-I'll open the doors!" One of the village's newest Genin said as she ran ahead of the soon-to-be-parents. Heh, rank ups for everyone it seemed! "What else do you want me to do?"

Fortunately it seemed that Azusa was going to tag along for the journey which would help aid the professional in the room with the delivery of the child(ren). She was even nice enough to move ahead moving the doors so carrying Yanshi wasn't so difficult! With the lady and head of the Byakko Clan laying on the bed, Kyuji had gotten the materials for the birth, though he was nervous to say the very least since he never delivered a child before in his whole lifetime since becoming a medic. True, he had carried them and taken care of some of them when they were in the hospital but he was never fortunate enough to actually deliver an infant into this beautiful, but also dark at times, world.

Today was going to be his lucky day as he attempted and prompted Yanshi to remove her clothing from her bottom half to no avail. There was only one thing that he could do and that was to get clothing removal tools and snip the clothes away while putting a covering over Yanshi so her nether regions were not sticking out for the whole world or in this case for Azusa to see. It appeared that the contractions were getting closer and closer with every few minutes as his dear wife's face revealed it all by the discomfort on her face and the crying as well. "Stick in there, Yanshi. We wanted this kid for so long and now we are finally getting it! We can do this." he would say to his love as he held her hand as she squeezed down on his. She was definitely going to break his hand if she squeezed any harder as he was telling her to breath as she was cussing at him and clearly in pain. All while this was happening, Azusa was probably just standing there awkwardly as Kyuji kept looking under the cover to see the progress. In actuality, Kyuji was quite scared to know what would occur when he finally had a kid(s); he hoped the child(ren) would grow up to be like him or his wife, but he always had his doubts...just like Doubting Thomas from the Bible.

He would motion to Azusa with his free hand to go get some towels from another room and when she returned, he would place them under his wife as much as he could. As for his wife, she was trying her best to get the kid(s) out of her as she was pushing when she felt it natural even though she and Kyuji were still on conflicting wavelengths. Then, it happened, the baby's head showed outside of her private special area and Kyuji's face got pale and he passed out, collapsing onto the floor beside Yanshi. So, Kyuji had collapsed and the baby decided that it would be cool to go back inside the special area of mommy.

At this point, Yanshi's eyes showed the story as she was scared as Kyuji fell down and screamed his name between crying in pain. She was left to fend for herself...wait no, she wasn't! There was still one body in the room that could help, Azusa!

So, she would look right at Azusa with tears starting to fall down her face and said solemnly: "Azusa, I know we just made up and you probably do not trust me still...but I need you to deliver this baby. I am putting this in your hands as there are no other medics nearby and there is no way that I can go to the Hospital in the village. Please...help...me."

Azusa chased after as Kyuji quickly brought his wife to a more proper location for her to give birth, laying her down on a bed and preparing her for their child's arrival. Azusa kept quiet; Yanshi's cries most definitely worried her, but Azusa didn't want to put any more pressure on Kyuji by showing distress or worry. It seemed she couldn't do much aside from open doors, and fetch towels for Kyuji...but that was fine. Whatever she could do to help.

After giving Kyuji the first set of towels, Azusa decided to run back and grab a few more for preemptive purposes. (Babies are usually wrapped up in towels when their born right?) Poor things were probably so cold when they were born after having been someplace warm for their whole...not-life? Pre-life? Loading? Azusa's mind wandered until she returned. "Sensei, I got some more towels. What's next? what do I do sensei?....Sensei?" Azusa gazed over to Kyuji, and it seemed...

Kyuji was down.

Azusa grit her teeth. This was an important moment, and it was all Azusa could do to try and be helpful! And here he was...(S-stupid Kyuji! So...So...Useless!) Well, technically he did carry Yanshi, something that the small genin simply would not have been able to do with any sort of finesse whatsoever. He at least had that going for him. But that most definitely did not excuse him passing out on her and his wife! If Yanshi did not give him hell for this, let it be known that Azusa most certainly would.

"...At least hold them for me!" Azusa dropped the extra few towels on Kyuji's head. If a spear to the chest wasn't enough to kill him, then he could definitively take a few towels to the face for the sake of the Kitsune's stress relief.

Of course, Kyuji's weak constitution played havoc on Yanshi's composure; Azusa rushed over to grab the Byakko Lady's hand. "D-don't be stupid Lady Yanshi, I'll definitely help you, I promise! Just...Just..." Would it be better for Yanshi to focus? To try and calm down? Or would it be better for her to try her best to endure it and get it over with? What would be best for the baby? Azusa didn't know what to encourage, let alone help her with! She had to make a guess, and went along the lines of what she had heard Kyuji telling her just moments ago;

"Shhh...C-calm down Lady Yanshi....It'll be okay. Just breath slowly..." Getting Yanshi as comfortable as possible was her goal. Kinda like Kyuji was looking, all passed out on the ground, but not really. Her expressions and sounds were those of pain, so easing her would be no small task. Azusa removed one of her bells she wore around her wrist, finding a place to hang it up, and gave it a tap to producing some chiming. " It...It probably really hurts Lady Yanshi, but try to focus on something else. Focus on my bell. It's...umm...pretty and a shiny silver...and it was a present from my clan." She spoke, before offering her hand to Yanshi again.

"I'm...I'm gonna look for the baby, okay Yanshi? Just...just count the bell chimes...And try to be calm for the baby..." Azusa tried to sound calm, but truthfully...she was probably going to break down and cry the moment the baby was safely born.

It was an unfortunate series of events for both ladies in the room as the soon-to-be father had collapsed to the floor and passed out leaving them alone to fend for themselves. Fortunately, there was another medical shinobi in the room and that was the one who was going to be bearing life any moment so it should've been easy to have the babies delivered since she had knowledge on the procedure, right? Well, you would think so but she sadly, like her husband, had no knowledge on the topic and this left poor little Azusa with a woman in an intense state of pain and agony and that was helpless for her. This would be probably the first time that Azusa would be delivering any form of life in her life as she had lived the luxurious lifestyle being a priestess of the Aikayume Clan, but she could do it. She just needed to think everything through thoroughly before making any decisions and hoping Lady Yanshi would at least be able to guide her so she didn't kill anyone or harm the newborn or the mother. That is just what Azusa would need having her sensei being impaled by a spear: having blood on her hands with death and an angry and pissed off Kyuji when he woke up. But, she had this, she had to for everyone's sake.

So the paging for Azusa had been made and she seemed to be doing what she thought was best for them all. After returning to the room and dropping some towels on Kyuji's unconscious face, she had taken control and it seemed like she had at least a plan of action. Although, she looked like a deer in headlights when she returned as she was left alone to fend for herself and she had a woman desperately asking for her help. Thinking quickly on her feet, she would try to follow the mindset of Kyuji which was to try to calm her down by telling her to actually calm down after reassuring her that she was going to help and to not be stupid. If the situation had been different, the reaction to the statements might've been different than they were now as Yanshi had slammed her fists on her sides which made the whole room shake and actually caused some medical items to fall over or spill in the room. Was she mad at Azusa? Not really, but being told to breathe slowly when she was already trying to keep her breathing under control while in pain was proving difficult.

This is when a brilliant idea came to the mind of the fox princess: soothe the client and keep her mind away from the pain. Brilliant idea as she pulled out one of the bells that her clan was notorious for and hung it up before tapping on it. The sound and movement both acted like a hypnotism as her mind and eyes began to follow the bell and much like a cat, she wanted to play with the bell! Sadly for her, she was stuck in bed and could only stare at it with widened eyes as Azusa grabbed her hand again and if the foxfire princess could feel anything in her palm, she would notice the woman's pulse had substantially slowed down to a normal pace. Her breathing also had become regular more as it seemed that Azusa's quick thinking had worked. The woman wondered if it was because she was under a Genjutsu of some sort or because this bell had some special healing and body lifting powers in it; in either case, she was relaxed more than she had been for the entire day.

She would hear the little Genin announce that she was going to look down under to see if she could see the child which gave her a prompt nod letting her know that she heard and understood. When Azusa did decide to look down there, she would notice the baby's head popping out again. If she knew what to do, she would carefully cup the baby's head and let nature, being in this case the baby, do its thing as it would come out naturally. Once outside, the baby would need immediate attention, but if she didn't pay close enough attention, she would not notice a second baby was also coming out. She would however know about the second child because Yanshi would say her name and tell her that she believed there was another one coming. Childbirth, what a fun and at the same time somewhat disgusting ordeal considering the mess involved with it. After this day, Azusa would probably never want to have kids after seeing how they came out and all the pain and irritability that came with it. But who knows, she might surprise us!

It worked! Lady Yanshi was soothed, and Azusa realized just how much she loved the bells. Lady Yanshi looked pretty cute actually, which made Azusa smile momentarily, before a look of seriousness returned to her face. One good step was not enough; she needed to focus until Yanshi's baby was safely in her arms.

Chimes in place, Azusa exhaled once again and calmed herself. She need all the mental fortification she was able to muster for the next step; she checked on the baby....

She saw the baby.

Azusa's innocent mind was full of questions; Was Yanshi really ok? Like, were they 100% certain that she wasn't dying? How was the baby possibly okay in that situation?! Her mind could likely go on and on, but the Kyuji-Yanshi jr wasn't haven't any of it, and was coming NOW. The baby had spent so much time with mommy and was now ready to be free. Azusa's arms flailed as she tried to remember how to control them (stress is a crazy thing), and stepped backwards onto some kind of lump beh-oh wait, that was just Kyuji she stepped on. Although she was nauseous, adrenaline allowed her to keep her lunch in her stomach as she grabbed a towel so-perfectly held in place by Kyuji's face. Though it would be in his best interest to move away from her once the adrenaline faded from Azusa. That would not be pretty. In fact, she did him a favor and dragged him over to the side of Yanshi's bed. Mostly so she didn't trip over him.

Under the covers; "C-c'mon little baby! Mommy's waiting for you! And...so is...um, your papa? I'm sure he could hold you...when he's ready..." Azusa held out the towel awkwardly, half-concerned the baby would zoom out and she'd miss catching it, and half-concerned whether or not she should assist it or let it birth itself on its own. Fortunately, she felt a wait in her hands, prompting her to open her eyes into a wary squint; the baby was here! She was holding a baby!

A wave of relief surged through Azusa, and she held the baby with shaking arms. The baby she cradled was both the heaviest thing she had carried and the lightest; (N-not too tight...but not loose enough to drop it...careful...) "H-hey Yanshi! You did it! The baby-" Azusa was worried of course; she knew babies were messy things, but this birth was on a whole different level beyond all her expectations. Even more when Yanshi told her that there was no time to rest.

It was time for round 2.

"B-but the baby! The first one...I-I can't just put it down..." She glanced at Yanshi, who had even less of a break than Azusa, and realized she was in no position to hold the older twin. That left the proud father. She was lucky she made the wise move of moving him earlier, and knelt beside him to move his arms in a way that his chest and arm could hold the a towel, and rested the wrapped baby there. "...There! Good job sensei!" He's the real MVP here.

Returning to Yanshi; Azusa called out to her; "I'm ready Lady Yanshi...um...names! Yes! The babies need names!" She could only imagine...no, she couldn't even do that! The pain Yanshi must have gone through -was still- going through, to bring two small, messy, little beings into the world...She empathized, and wanted to keep the mother distracted. "L-like a mixture of your names...Yanshi...Kyuji...Yanji-WHOA!" The second baby was now in her hands...which she proceeded to cover up and wrap with the towel mechanically, in a daze, as if she were already an expert.

"...M-more...lady Yanshi? I...I think Kyuji...sensei...is close to his limit..." She whimpered, cradling the baby close to her.

....It probably wouldn't be the best time to ask if she could keep one as a trophy, either.

If Azusa's pregnant patient had been looking at her momentarily, she would've seen a small little smile appear on the Genin's face quickly before returning to her serious tone. In all honesty, the bell was mesmerizing and it was keeping her mind off of the pain, but occasionally her face would express a slight hint of pain. However, the bell had her attention so much that she had slowly been pushing the baby out more and more to the point where the head was appearing and the little priestess had to quickly react to the situation even though a pre-teen should have never been put into this situation in the first place. She luckily remembered her towels that she had placed on Kyuji after bumping into him which made him stir and emit a low-toned groan as his eyes were opening slowly to towels right on top of his face. At this point, he was spazzing out slightly as he wanted to know what was going on, but he could not emit anything other than his groan before being dragged by someone to the side of the bed which he assumed was little Azusa. His assumptions would prove true as he heard her talking to the baby as he assumed it was slowly making its way out of its warm holding area and into this dark, cold abyss known as reality. In a few mere moments, the baby seemed to be out as he could hear the little Genin exclaiming to his wife that she had done it but it appeared that the early assumptions were incorrect between the two senior members as another child was coming out according to his wife. He wanted to get up at this moment and help, but he could feel his arms being moved to situate the newborn into his arms and the baby felt warm as he heard the new life's vital organs from his positioning.

He could then hear the pre-teen's voice again telling his wife that she was ready and trying to probably sidetrack her by mentioning names. It was a good move on her part as it was keeping the ruler of the Byakko Clan calm and like that the other baby had popped out and Azusa was holding the newest being in the Byakko Clan in her arms. It must have been a beautiful sight to see, but neither parent was really in the right condition to be smiling at the beautiful site of a cute child holding a tiny little life in her arms. No, Lady Yanshi was laying on her back with her eyes closed crying partly because of the pain and partially because of giving birth to two beautiful children. As for the new father, he was slowly rising from the floor with one of his children and when he was on his feet, he saw the other one bundled in Azusa's arms and started crying himself because of the beautiful children that he and his wife had created. He actually would slowly walk over to Azusa putting an arm on her shoulder and looking down on her. A sincere smile was on his face as tears were falling down his face onto the ground. He would actually close his eyes and happily say: "Thank you, Azusa. I am glad I dragged you along for this. You truly did something amazing today for not just me but also my wife and we both appreciate it. And with kindness in my heart, I grant you the opportunity to join the medical branch of our great village if you are interested. You would be starting off as a medic-in-training and I would mentor you until you were ready for the medical exam. Once you pass that exam however, you would not be under me anymore and you would be free to have your own squad or medics to train. The opportunity is here if you would like to accept it, all you have to do is say you accept and the paperwork will be filled out and you will start as a medic-in-training as soon as the paperwork is processed which won't take more than a few days. Now, may I have my other child please?"

If the girl handed over the other child, he would walk over to his wife where she would slowly sit upright and be given the children where she would begin to cry even more. As for Kyuji, he would go down under and clean up that region of her before walking over to Azusa again and directing her outside of the room before closing the door behind them. He would then look at her again with a smile on her face as he would begin to talk again to her: "Like I said before, you can join the medic branch if you want after this situation. I assure you that you will be accepted. Just let me know now so I can plan accordingly. I also kindly ask that you go out where Mao and Surutameni were and make sure that they aren't out there still, vandalizing my home and if they are, kick them out. As for yourself, you should be very proud of what you did as you brought two children into this home and they will be named Yanjirou for the boy and Kyushiko for the girl. I don't know how I will ever repay you for what you did Azusa, but I am sure we will find a way. But anyways, you are dismissed" He would then gently tap her on the head before offering his hand to her and then going back into the room to be with his new children and his wife. The door would be locked behind them so they had some privacy and Azusa would be escorted by a guard if she got lost finding her way out since the Byakko Clan was structured very differently than any normal building in this country that he had seen before. She would be directed straight to where she had been tested for her Genin Exam and if the other two new Genin were still there, other guards would appear and escort them out of the building.

[OOC: Already put up the request for your new banner if you want to still be a Medic-in-Training. Also, topic left unless stopped as Kyuji, Yanshi and the babies. Good RP, Azusa and the others if you ever post again xD]

Before too long, there were some kinds of grunts from around her feet, which she attributed to Kyuji.
Wait...she had placed the first baby by him when he was still passed out. "W-WAIT DON'T MOVE TOO MU-" But her concerns were unneeded, and Kyuji had realized his kid was with him before moving about too drastically.

...That brief moment of shock took the last of Azusa's strength from her, and she fell onto her butt against Yanshi's bed. Slowly of course; she was holding onto one of the twins after all. When Kyuji thanked her, Azusa nodded quietly, smiling during this moment of rest she could take. Yanshi was safe and resting, Kyuji was up and moving again, and both babies were safely wrapped and held onto. All was right in the world at this moment.

...And truthfuly, even though today called for far, far more work than the little Aikayume heiress had ever done in her life, she was...happy. Blushing with giggles and joy even! She was incredibly proud of herself for being able to help Lady Yanshi (and Kyuji) when they needed her. Now she wouldn't have to feel guilty about tricking Yanshi in the exam earlier, and could actually look her in the eye again...Although Azusa hesitated in passing off the other twin to Kyuji; she really wanted one! It was so tiny and warm...she pet the baby on the head, before reluctantly handing the younger twin off to Kyuji. "You're welcome." Sigh

But she did get something; Kyuji offered to let her into the Medic Branch. Now baby-less, Azusa scurried back up to her feet and nodded her head. "...Yes. Yes! I would like that..." She spoke as her mind raced through all the details. The feeling of pride sh had for helping? It's was most definitely something she wanted to feel again, albeit, she wouldn't mind if it was something other than delivering children. That was...messy, and exhausting mentally...

Once directed to, she nodded and followed after Kyuji out of the room, letting Yanshi have a well-deserved rest with her twins.

"I'd like to join the Medical branch, sensei. Definitely." She said. She could finally learn how to help others! She knew her Genjutsu couldn't always be used, and if she learned in the medical branch, she'd wouldn't have to use an illusion to make mask someone's pain like with Riyota, and would be able to help someone like Mao who was prone to Injury, or protecting her. It definitly the best path for her to take right now as a Genin.

"Leave the others to me." Azusa said with a playful salute to Kyuji. "Speaking of Mao...Hide the babies from her for a while, okay?" Azusa said sternly. "She might poke them! Or something..." Azusa trailed off. Well, you know Mao is Mao, so hopefully Kyuji would be protective of the two small creatures he was now in charge of.

Today was a very stressful day for her, so Azusa was very much looking forwards to it being over. If the other two genin were still loitering around, Azusa would hastily guide them away. She was sure Kyuji wanted to be with his family, and personally, she really wanted a bath and a nap. And nothing would get in the new Genin's way of that!

(MiT and Genin! Yaaay! Nice topic, Kyuji)
