Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Height: 5'9

The Story:
There was never going to be a simple lifestyle for Kagari. It didn't help that he had become a shinobi for Sunagakure. In any case, the three-year genin had started to set things in motion; both good and bad. He had discovered a hidden talent, something locked in his blood that he never knew he had. The ability to control ice naturally. Only the Haku clan, a respected clan amongst those in Sunagakure. Although what did it mean? Would he be able to be recognized as one of its family members? Or one of the many bastards that belonged to the "esteemed heirs"? He hadn't yet told his mother that he could control ice; nor anything much on his daily activities whether it was ninja related or not. It comes with being a teenager, not being totally open about everything.

Kagari had also gone through a mission, an event that would change him forever. It involved him destroying a Bath House by the name of Yoshiwara in the Red Light Districts of Grand Palais. It was previously owned by a Haku Saburou, a wealthy pimp and all around asshole. Kagari had succeeded, he captured Saburou and blew up the Whore House. Although what still plagued his mind was his inattention to detail, his brashness had caused some collateral damage. Even though he had told a couple of the girls to run, some didn't make it out of there. But what came after is what changed Kagari. He was involved in the interrogation of Saburou, and seeing how easily it was to break down a man; a person who was proud and in some ways respected, he changed.

Now, he's going to start investigating the leads that he had gotten from Saburou. It will have him knee deep in the actual corruption of Suna, picking up the scraps left by degenerates and the fifth of humanity. His journey has only just begun.

Personality/Mental Description:
While he is quiet, it's because he uses it as a defense mechanism. He's usually reading people and trying to decide how to act. Either to make a positive or negative impression on the person, especially if they're someone new. He will often engage in banter with a person, poking and teasing in an innocent way. But he likes to use humor to distract, to keep them happy or off guard. He openly mocks opponents to catch them in their frustration and use their anger against them. He is a lot more confident now, never afraid to argue his opinion. He's still a teenager, though, young and inexperienced. While he's been shown exactly how the real world works, he's still optimistic and idealistic about certain things.

"I wish I had a damn mirror right about now..." A masked teen could be seen standing on one of the rooftops overlooking crowds of people being ushered into the front gates of a large mansion. Men and women, dressed fashionably with masks covering their identity were all attending the grandest party at the end of the year, "The Ball." A simple name for an extravagant event, the who's who were being invited here. Even if you were the Kazekage, you had less of a chance of being invited. But that was for a reason; there are rumors of in-house trading of black market goods underneath all the fancy dresses and decorative masks.

The teen was adjusting his vest and coat; it was fitted to him like he asked for but it restricted a lot of movement. It also didn't help he tried to fit various tools inside his coat pockets, but they could be easily seen as the poked out. So, he was left with only his custom made the blade and a few coins. Luckily for him, he was out of sight as his dark clothing blended him in the night, and most were too enraptured with the party. As he scanned each guest, he wasn't going to make his move yet. He was told to wait for someone, a partner to help him out. He wasn't sure who would show up, but hopefully, they would be here soon.

He looked out of place even when he was hiding.

It wasn't long after joining the initiates of the elite group known as the Anbu that he was called upon to perform in the line of duty. His first dossier was brief and too the point. He was to rendezvous with another Anbu member that was to be his team leader and Kaen was to be his subordinate. Not exactly a comfortable thing to be taking orders from another he had no previous knowledge of, but he knew that if he were to want to scale the ranks, he would need to take it all with a grain of salt and move forward. In the briefing log it mentioned black market dealings at a high end masquerade ball, so he would need to dress the part if he had any chance of staying under cover.

Kaen arrived in a timely manner and begun to search for his counterpart. All they told him was look for the guy in the mask... how helpful, given the context. It was then that he noticed a small billowing action atop the rooftop. Is this guy really standing on the rooftop like a god damn super hero? Shaking his head Kaen made his way to the rooftop by means of a back alley just down the street. Couldn't just ninja jump to the top in front of all those rich snobs, might cause a scene. After he arrived beside the presumed partner, Kaen would straighten his suit and fix his cuff link, his crimson hair floating softly in the wind. In a low voice he would address his fellow comrade in arms. "Ruin, reporting for duty, sir. I am under orders to assist you in this mission as your subordinate, what are your orders?" Man these rich idiots were really just that, idiots... how could they not even see these two?

[OOC Topic Entered]

Kagari turned his attention to the sudden appearance of man formally dressed as he is. Although he exerted a certain extravagance from his mask, smooth red hair and overall stature. The figure in a quiet voice spoke up, greeting Kagari."Ruin, reporting for duty, sir. I am under orders to assist you in this mission as your subordinate, what are your orders?" 'Ruin, huh? I wonder if Tenken choose that or he did.' Kagari cleared his throat and began speaking to his compatriot. "Nice to meet you Ruin, I'm Joker." Kagari extended his arm for a handshake. Whether or not Ruin accepted the gesture, Kagari would explain why they were spying from a rooftop on some rich folks like preadators.

"I'm guessing command didn't tell you about what we're doing tonight other than being my partner in crime. Well, here's the deal."

"Inside that mansion right now is one of the most extravagant events in Sunagakure that only happens once a year, 'The Winter Solstice Maker's Ball.' It's come to be known as 'The Ball' by most because of it's reputation. I'll be honest I never heard of it until Tenken plopped it on my to-do list." Kagari would beckon Ruin to take a closer look at the people down below. "Now most of them are here for the party of their lifetime, enraptured by the guise of mystery and romance but the others...Well, they're here for something else."

"There are rumors that black market deals happen behind all those velvet curtains. You name it, slaves, drugs, weapons, whatever. Normal "rich" people power pieces. It's easy to make these business deals once you know that everyone walking in is essentially a multi-millionaire." Kagari would pause as he kept scanning guest after guest. "Normally I don't chase rumors, but we got some intel that tonight, a dossier containing sensitive materials about Suna's infrastructure are being sold at an auction."

"That's objective number one; the second objective is to take out the two perpetrators behind this party. Dr. Emilie Viktor and Mistress Dalia Boyle. They're the hosts of this fancy party. On the outside, they're very popular members of the community, Dr. Vicktor is seen as a respectable physician, and his wife Lady Boyle was a model in her younger days, she's retired now. But behind closed doors, they control a spy ring. They'll sell info to just about anyone on everyone."

Kagari would turn to Ruin, with an empty expression.

"So, we have to take them out. No second chances, no interrogation. They die tonight. Understood?"

"Good. As you can see everyone's wearing masks which means we'll blend right in. But, there are places we can't even get into unless we use a bit of guile or charm. Your choice." Kagari would take out two invitations from his pocket and hand one to Ruin.

"Here, this will get us into the party if we want to go through the front door. Or, we could sneak around and go through the kitchen, most of them are on break or too busy offloading more food. We could even possibly snag one of the waiter's clothes. I'm open to suggestions."

"But whatever we do, we have to get to that auction quick, or else we miss on not only making sure that the dossier doesn't fall into the wrong hands, but we can also identify some of the members of the auction. Add some more targets to our already full kill list."

His new colleague cleared his throat and introduced himself, "Nice to meet you Ruin, I'm Joker.", and then extended a hand out in an attempt to make it a formal meeting. Kaen hesitated at first, he didn't even know the guy... but even more reason to just go along with it, he hasn't done anything to give him reason to dislike him, yet. Kaen took Joker's hand in his own with a firm and strong grasp, shaking a single time before releasing his hand. Joker would continue; "I'm guessing command didn't tell you about what we're doing tonight other than being my partner in crime. Well, here's the deal." Kaen would give a slight shake indicating that command, as usual, were cryptic in their briefing. Perhaps it's because he was new and Joker here would be filling him in, as he did just then. "Inside that mansion right now is one of the most extravagant events in Sunagakure that only happens once a year, 'The Winter Solstice Maker's Ball.' It's come to be known as 'The Ball' by most because of it's reputation. I'll be honest I never heard of it until Tenken plopped it on my to-do list." Joker would pause a moment, calling Kaen over to gaze at the sheep below. "Now most of them are here for the party of their lifetime, enraptured by the guise of mystery and romance but the others...Well, they're here for something else." Again Kaen would remain silent in an attempt to remain respectful towards his team leader. "There are rumors that black market deals happen behind all those velvet curtains. You name it, slaves, drugs, weapons, whatever. Normal "rich" people power pieces. It's easy to make these business deals once you know that everyone walking in is essentially a multi-millionaire." The Joker would pause a moment, Kaen would give a small snarl in disgust. THIS was the type of shit that led him to join the Anbu in the first place. Those people from that place are the reason he is the way he is today. Kaen vowed to make sure he hunted them all down, perhaps if these guys were brokers of black market deals, he could maybe find some information he sought... "Normally I don't chase rumors, but we got some intel that tonight, a dossier containing sensitive materials about Suna's infrastructure are being sold at an auction." "Well we can't have that now can we? Kaen would muse over lightly, obviously attempting to be sarcastically funny given the grim situation and stakes at hand. He regretted it almost immediately... I probably sounded like an idiot...

They'll sell info to just about anyone on everyone." The Joker then turned to him with a blank look. Joker would be met with a still scowling Kaen, he was pissed. What kind of people feel like its ok to just buy and sell people?!?! "So, we have to take them out. No second chances, no interrogation. They die tonight. Understood?" "Tchh...." No interrogation? That meant he wouldn't be able to get the info out of them that he could use to track them down with... But a mission was a mission and he needed this. "Understood..." Given the chance, he might still attempt to relinquish information from them. He needed to know where they were. "Good. As you can see everyone's wearing masks which means we'll blend right in. But, there are places we can't even get into unless we use a bit of guile or charm. Your choice." The Joker would then hand Kaen an invitation, it was a extravagant and stylish card emblazoned with flakes of gold. These people surely were rich beyond his imagination if they could afford gold on their damn invitations. "Here, this will get us into the party if we want to go through the front door. Or, we could sneak around and go through the kitchen, most of them are on break or too busy offloading more food. We could even possibly snag one of the waiter's clothes. I'm open to suggestions." Hmm... Kaen would ponder the thought a moment as Joker continued. "But whatever we do, we have to get to that auction quick, or else we miss on not only making sure that the dossier doesn't fall into the wrong hands, but we can also identify some of the members of the auction. Add some more targets to our already full kill list." Kaen would stand up straight and straighten out his coat jacket again. "I believe it tactically more beneficial to go through the front door, sir. We have the proper attire, the invitations. We might stand out, being new to this party, but that could work in our favor. People are easily drawn to the mysterious. New people means new money and new money means new customers. Once we get inside we can formulate a strategy based on the context of the interior. Kaen would head back the way he came and dropped down into the alley. He would run his fingers through his hair as he nonchalantly exited the shadows of the alley with The Joker in tow. Kaen would straighten his tie and approach whomever was in charge of checking invitations. He would attempt to casually stroll on by the would be bouncer, flashing his invitation as he walked by. His thought process was if you act like you don't give a shit about anyone or anything, then you would fit in just fine with the rest of these rich snobs. If he was stopped he would simply have to deal with it and use that "charm" that Joker suggested.

"I believe it tactically more beneficial to go through the front door, sir. We have the proper attire, the invitations. We might stand out, being new to this party, but that could work in our favor. People are quickly drawn to the mysterious. New people means new money and new money means new customers. Once we get inside, we can formulate a strategy based on the context of the interior." Kagari nodded his head in approval, sometimes to sneak into a high profile party is to walk in through the front door and be seen. Still, there needed to be a certain amount of guile as they weren't there to mingle. "Sounds good, just flash your invitation in the guard's faces, and they'll let you in. I should mention that the invitation gets you into the party and not into the auction. We're going to have to find a way behind those closed doors, but that shouldn't be an issue." Kagari followed Ruin down into the side alleyway as he too made sure he looked the part. Adjusting the buttons on his collar cuffs on his wrist and tie, they both sure seemed like a couple of lady-killers. "Here, I almost forgot." Kagari handed Ruin a radio with a small headset. "Put this on your ear; no one should notice it unless they're looking for it." Kagari put the device in his ear and turned it on. "Test test test, alright good. We'll be able to keep each other update in case something happens." Kagari paused and looked around the corner, noticing the two guards. "The security here aren't trained shinobi, but I'd be careful. They're packing firearms inside their suits and are the 'shoot to kill, ask questions later' type of people."

"I'll go in after you, have fun." Kagari watched as Ruin walked off, making his way to the entrance of the party.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The two bodyguards that stood overlooking the front entrance looked uninterested but still kept looking at every invitation that passed through the front door. One of them noticed a red haired man with a mask only covering his eyes walking towards them, nonchalantly flashing his invitation in their faces as he walked by. The guard nodded and let the man inside without trouble. Inside, Ruin would find a grand foyer. He could see various groups of people, all enjoying each other's company, drinking wine and discussing whether or not the place they were in was a foyer. Either way, Kaen would have some options. There were stairs right in the middle that led to the second floor. It would give rise to the main hall where there was dancing, the Buffett and where the hosts would address the public. There were a couple of guards overlooking from above, but they may be there to make sure nothing happened right at the entrance. Left or right looked identical as they may lead to the east or west wing of the mansion. Where to go?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kagari soon followed Ruin as he too walked to the front door of the party. He stopped in front of the two bodyguards and flashed his invitation. They would let him in with no trouble. As he got inside the party, he would spot Ruin and talk through his headset, "I'm in." Kagari would then go upstairs and-and observe the rich and famous, looking for something that flashed, "I'm rich and evil."

With a covertly placed radio equipped, Kaen walked easily past the guards out front. Joker notified him that the invitation was strictly for the party and not the black market auction, their true goal. It shouldn't be to difficult, especially for two highly trained black ops members of the Suna Anbu. The only real foreseeable issue is getting shot. Guns... what a pathetic contraption used by the meek to take down strong, such an dishonorable tool of war. Kaen made himself and was greeted with that of a magnificent visage of luxury. Expensive looking drapes adorned the walls coupled with what appeared to be marble statues hanging from every pillar. Along the walls were long tabled laced with a large assortment of foods, drinks and other miscellaneous decorations. At the far end of the grand hall was a massive staircase that led to the second floor, this is where Joker decided to stage himself. "I'm in." Joker would announce.

From what he could gather at first glance, there were only two options that presented themselves to Kaen, East or West. Kaen would grab a glass of champagne as he casually strolled down the middle of the foyer, watching the people dance in the middle as he went. Kaen took a sip of his champagne and quietly notified Joker of his intentions. "The entrance appears clear, I'm gonna move head down the east hall, I'll check in every fifteen minutes unless I find something, Ruin out.

[OOC, wasn't much to go on, so the post is short. Also at the end it looked like you were saying "I'm rich and evil" out loud lol]

As Kaen ventured down the east hall, he would hear hushed whispers and discussions from various nobles.

"I can't believe she wore that dress! It doesn't go with her mask at all!"

"When do you think Dr. Viktor will show up? I've heard he's been confined to his room since last month!"

It was nothing more than idle gossip, but some of these nobles have loose lips if he were to listen. Continuing down the hall, he would end up in a large parlor, where the guests could sit and talk to each other if they choose to. It would also lead outside to the garden, where Lady Boyle has spent a fortune on gathering plants from various countries outside of Suna. There are even some "dangerous" plants that she was able to get her hands on. Most of them are not lethal, but the ones that are poisonous can kill. Some may even send you trying to find the nearest toilet if you ingest them. There was also the stairs leading to the second level; a few guards were blocking the way, but they let a man pass through carrying a briefcase. Depending on what Kaen would do, someone was trying to get his attention.

"Hey red hair, come here for a sec."A girl with long orange hair tied up in a ponytail was motioning for him to come. Who was she?

------------------------------------------------

"I hope Koko isn't making an ass of herself," Kagari muttered to himself as he slowly walked up the stairs leading to the grand hall. Two more guards opened the way for him as he entered the main ballroom where most of the men and women were gathered. People were dancing in the middle, all in pairs. He moved to the side, taking a drink from a waiter making his rounds. He took a sip, swished it a bit as he observed the sights. At the end of the hallway was a balcony overlooking the entire party, with the band underneath it playing music. 'The power duo probably come out and address the guests from there...If I remember the plans to the mansion, the stairs on the east wing. Ruin's headed that way.<i></i>' Kagari kept sipping his wine when he noticed on the collars of some men; they had a bright gold pin. For the ladies, it was the gold brooch. Kagari rubbed his chin; there were only a few people had the accessory. Kagari downed his wine and picked up another glass and began to walk towards one of the men with a gold pin on his collar. "some of the men are wearing a gold pin, and the women a gold brooch. I'm going to get my hands on one."

The general ambiance of the halls felt much like that of a typical school, whispering, snickering and rumors flying about. Everywhere you looked you could tell, certain cliques talking amongst themselves, flirting glances at those across the way, does she like me, does he think i'm weird. But instead of childish speakings, it was transformed into the adult rich snob version, "These drapes look fake." "I can't believe they used Biano Carrara instead of Venata White." It was all rather disturbing to see that this is what the high life was all about, just bigger and richer kids doing the same things as children would, never really growing, learning or maturing... sad really. But loose lips reveal potential information, rumors or not. As Kaen passed a small crowd of people with his senses tuned to their conversations he would learn a tidbit of info. "When do you think Dr. Viktor will show up? I've heard he's been confined to his room since last month!" Interesting... Seems the good ole doc might be sick, possibly... Kaen would hang out near a nearby window to eaves drop a moment longer to learn more if any more pertinent information would surface. After learning what else he could, assuming more arose, he would quietly relay that to Joker via the radio. Seems our good doctor may have taken a turn for the worse, rumors are floating around that he has been confined to his quarters for the past few weeks, <Insert extra information here if discovered>. Ruin out.

Kaen continued his way down and out of the hall to find himself in a parlor type room. The decor was that of lavish rich taste, adorned with extravagant chairs and fainting couches. Just outside was a lavish garden, chalk full of various herbs, plants and other green things. If only Kasen were here... Kaen knew next to nothing about herbology, that was her department, being a medical nin after all. To his right would lay a staircase leading to another floor above, two brutish men in tuxes would stand guard at the base of the stairs. Seems they weren't letting anyone in, or so it seemed. A man would approach with a briefcase, muttering something inaudible and being let past the pair. Hmm... I need to get up there. Nothing unimportant is ever guarded. Kaen would begin to approach to the muscular duo but was interrupted and caught off guard by such bluntness. Kaen hated nothing more than a plan interrupted or jeopardized... This better be good... He would turn to a voice, it was girl with a pecular hair style for such an event. "Hey red hair, come here for a sec." Who the hell was this? Did Joker have another undercover agent? Why didn't he tell Kaen... It seemed the girl was beckoning him over. Kaen would glance around the room to be sure he didn't attract any unwanted attention. Seeing that the coast was relatively clear, he approached the girl. "What is it kid? I'm kinda busy here..." Kaen would take another sip of his champagne, attempting to look as nonchalant as possible given the context. Hopefully Joker was fairing better in his endevours...

Seems our good doctor may have taken a turn for the worse, rumors are floating around that he has been confined to his quarters for the past few weeks, <Insert extra information here if discovered>. Ruin out.

The rumors surrounding the good doctor that he is sick seemed to spread from circle to circle one he listened in. It was ironic that one of the most prominent physicians was sick. Regardless, he was absent from the party and would remain in his room for the time being. Although he may come out to address the guests that were gathered in his halls or go to the auction, only time will tell. As Kaen would try approach the duo, the orange hair teen got the attention of Kaen through her display. A couple of people turned their heads but went back to their conversation. The muscular duo guarding the stairway just scoffed and remained on guard; they too weren't being paid enough to care. "What is it kid? I'm Kinda busy here..." Ruin said in the most nonchalant way possible. The orange haired girl looked a bit annoyed at that question, "You're not that much older than me..." She huffed, clearly upset. "Look, I'm here because our mutual friend asked me to help him out, despite that I dread events like this..." The girl fidgeted with her mask; it kept sliding down her face despite her best efforts to keep it still. "I've been here for an hour now and had some information that might help."

"As you can see, those two guards only let certain people in and turn away anyone else that approaches. But that's only the start..."The girl took another gulp of her champagne, looking out for any eavesdroppers before continuing. "They have another set of guards that pat people down, after that, I'm pretty sure is the auction you two desperately want."

"I haven't seen Lady Boyle yet, but she might be overlooking the auction itself upstairs. As for the Doctor, well I think you've heard the rumors circling; that he's ill. I hear that it may have to do with the plants in the garden, they say that he makes his own medicine out of the medicinal plants he grows, and takes them himself to keep him immune. He even has his lab in the house on the upper floors. I bet you could snag something off one of the poisonous plants growing the garden and have him take it if you want to go that route."

" Anyways I'll leave it up to you, I'll continue to scout around. It's amazing how much people overlook the servant paths."

----------------------------------------------------

As Kagari approached one of the men with a gold pin in his collar, he spotted a waiter carrying food and red wine walking towards him and the man. Kagari smirked, as he passed by the man and waited for the waiter to get close. Sticking out his foot a little bit, he tripped the waiter and kept walking; without drawing attention to himself. A loud crash ringed through the hall and most of the nobles there gasped. The man with the pin got red wine, pork sauce and all sorts of food-stained on his nicely pressed white suit. The poor waiter didn't even know what hit him when he looked up to see an enraged man. The said man picked up the server by the collar and yelled, "You know how much this suit cost?! I'll make sure you and your family will be mining away in the desert for the rest of your life!" The poor waiter sunk in his skin, apologizing loudly for the accident. The man dropped the server after a few more curses and stormed off to the nearest washroom. The waiter did his best to clean up the mess and scurried off to the kitchen, probably to either cry or try to run.

Kagari followed the man as he stepped into the washroom, thankfully unaccompanied. Kagari looked around before entering the bathroom. He slowly opened the door and closed it quickly behind him. The man, doing his best to wipe away the stains noticed Kagari. "Hey this occu-" That was all he could get out before Kagari closed the distance and promptly throat punched the man. He crumpled to the floor gasping for air before finally knocked unconscious. Taking the gold pin on the collar, Kagari was able to hide the body in the wardrobe. These weren't average bathrooms, but for the nobles who need to relieve themselves of their wine. Only one person at a time could use them. Once Kagari was done hiding the body, he straightened his tie in the mirror and walked out, heading for the other wing where Ruin was currently at.

"You're not that much older than me..." Clearly this kid was upset, while it was true they were very close in relative age, Kaen had undergone more than any normal adult would have in his time, forcing him to mature at a young age just to survive. This little girl could never understand... "Look, I'm here because our mutual friend asked me to help him out, despite that I dread events like this..." The girl re-adjusted her ill fitting mask. "I've been here for an hour now and had some information that might help." Hmm... Seems Joker did have another inside source he seemed to have forgotten to mention to him, maybe that was part of some test, see how well Kaen thought on his feet. Well it's too late now, plus she didn't cause all the much of a disturbance while getting his attention, the least he could do was listen to what she had to say. Knowledge was power, and information was just as good as knowledge. The girl would shoot a fleeting glance towards the pair at the foot of the stairs. "As you can see, those two guards only let certain people in and turn away anyone else that approaches. But that's only the start..." She then took a small sip while scanning the room. "They have another set of guards that pat people down, after that, I'm pretty sure is the auction you two desperately want." The auction... their final destination. Once in they would be poised to complete their mission... the question now was, how do you get past these two without causing a scene... I bet you could snag something off one of the poisonous plants growing the garden and have him take it if you want to go that route." Those damn plants, Kaen would have no clue as to what was useful or not. Knowing him he would end up picking a fern leaf in hopes of it being the poison plant..." Anyways I'll leave it up to you, I'll continue to scout around. It's amazing how much people overlook the servant paths."

Seems Kaen had some options in front of him, the plant option wasn't going to be as fortuitous for him given is complete ineptitude with plant stuff like that. Though he could possible use that as a distraction, if it really WAS that important to the good ole Doc. He also needed to get past the thugs at the bottom and then somehow get past the second pair of thugs. Kaen would sit in one of the chairs while he pondered a bit. This room was just as nice as the previous, these people sure were rich. Granted the money was obtained by less than savory methods, it didn't really bother him. Ninja were really no better, just tools born and raised to serve their village and then eventually die for their village. Kaen set his glass down and went outside to look at this supposed amazing garden. They weren't wrong, what they said. He didn't know a red fern from cilantro, but it was pretty none the less. His plan was originally going to set fire to the garden, but that would cause far to much of a disturbance. Something as discreet, such as the details of this mission, would need a bit more finesse than setting everything on fire, no matter how much he might have wanted to... If there was one thing he took notice of, it was the amount of security detail this event entailed. That's when he had it, the perfect plan. There was no need to be sneaky, he could just walk on by them, they would never see it coming... Kaen found a nice quiet secluded place among the foliage and struck a simple sign. His plan was now in motion...

Kaen emerged from the brush transformed and perfectly camouflaged. Kaen took off the mask and tucked it into his coat pocket. He may need it later... Kaen exited the gardens and made a beeline for the pair at the stairs. Kaen only hoped this disguise would work, lest the mission become much much more difficult. He was silent until he reached them at the bottom of the stairs. The Lady Boyle wants more security inside. Two things were in play here. He tried to be as vague as possible, relying on the fact that they knew about the auction and hoping that "inside" was enough for them. Second... everyone knows that the woman is in charge of everything. Hell he wasn't even married to his sister Kasen and he knew damn well that it was her way or the highway. So in this instance, Lady Boyle would be the shot caller in all this, at the very least while the Doc was ill... Kaen would wait to see if they moved aside, or worse see past his illusion...

[OOC MFT - Used Transformation to disguise myself as a guard]

The two men guarding the stairway kept scanning the crowd in the parlor, making sure nothing was afoot. One of them leaned against the wall, looked bored. "I'm telling you; those awards are absolute bullshit."

"You can't deny that the show was good, though. I enjoyed it ironically."

"There were plenty of other legitimate candidates, and it only won because the dudes kissed!"

"Yeah-Hang on a sec." The guard who was vigilant noticed the guard disguised Kaen was approaching from the garden; he gave a casual greeting with a simple nod. "Finished with the garden duty? Yeah, the doc's pretty sensitive about the plants. Worried about random nobles sucking face over the hibiscus or something." The guard moved to the side and let Kaen through, luckily.

Once Kaen got up the stairs, he could see again groups of people gathering together whispering in hushed tones about random things. They also looked different than the guests downstairs, while most on the floor below were dressed in beautiful clothing, something about the people on the 2nd floor seemed a lot prouder. These were the people who were on the A-lists of A lists. These were more than likely the participants in the Auction, as velvet robes pointed in the direction of the 2nd stairway leading to the auction. This time there was only one room at the top of the stairway that was open, with the buyers drinking enjoying themselves. Two guards again were in front of the stairway but were more vigilant in their duties. A man was being patted down by a large guard while one watched. Once he was clear, he headed to the room above.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Kagari rounded the corner to the parlor where Koko and Ruin were just at, he noticed the orange hair girl walk towards him and whisper in hushed tones as she sipped her wine. "This tastes like ass."

"No one said you had to drink it." Kagari chuckled.

"You told me to blend in!"

"And how are you blending in by getting mad at me?"

"Whatever, I met your guy. He went into the garden, and I haven't seen him since."

"He probably found a way upstairs; I wouldn't be surprised. Anyways keep doing what you're doing."

"Already on it."

The two separated quickly as Koko went down the hallway Kagari was coming from, and Kagari made his way to the stairs.

"I still don't know why you're getting mad; it was a fan vote. What did you expect?"

"What did I expect, I expected that people would actually have good taste!"

"So everyone's taste is shit and yours isn't?"

"that's not what I'm-"

Kagari cleared his throat to get their attention as he flashed the gold pin on his collar. "I don't mean to interrupt your argument..."

"No sorry sir, right this way." The left guard made room for Kagari, as the teen made his way up.

Kaen took a quick look around the new level, the smug and classy folk were located here. Not just any fancy pricks either, these were the elite of the elite, the deepest of pockets roamed and chattered throughout this floor. A nice red pathway clearly marked the path towards the upper level, that HAD to be where the auction was being held. The 15 minute mark was approaching, fortunately for him he looked like one of the guards, so talking into a mic wasn't as sketchy. "I've made my way upstairs, I think I see the route inside, I'm going to try and slip past these guards." Kaen, attempting to not draw attention would slowly patrol the lower area, making it seem as if he was meant to be there. After a minute or so he would approach the two guards guarding the upper stairwell. These pair seemed much more attentive than the gawking duo down below... he would need to keep his wits about him. "Gentlemen..." Kaen began, casually greeting the pair. "Ugh... Everywhere you look its "Look at the size of my diamond!" "Have you seen their drapes?" Makes you sick thinking these fat cats run the show, ya know?" Idle chit chat, nothing more. Guard or not, they would have to agree. The rich and influential often are unliked by the more common folk. Anyway... You guys need to take a piss? They got me roaming, giving comp breaks, gonna be a long one." This parties been going on for a while now, surely one of these guys needed to pee. Once one of them were out of the way, he could implement phase two into getting upstairs.

Kaen would approach the duo guarding the upper staircase, greeting them casually. "Gentlemen..." Only one guard responded, "Yo." He waved his hand to the disguised Anbu in training. Kaen would make small talk with the duo, despite only one actually listening, "Ugh... Everywhere you look its "Look at the size of my diamond!" "Have you seen their drapes?" Makes you sick thinking these fat cats run the show, ya know?" Guard 1 smirked, while the other kept a watchful eye. "I hear ya but careful with that mouth of yours, they might be watching." The guard stuffed his hands into the pockets of his pants, pretending to not care about what Kaen was saying. "You might not want to look to casual here man; we have to keep up certain appearances. Just ask "Mr.Hawkeye" over here." The guard pointed to his partner to his left. "If I look like I'm actually doing my job, then I won't get into trouble you hear?" The guard crosses his arms, still keeping an eye on the rest of the guests.

" Anyway... You guys need to take a piss? They got me roaming, giving comp breaks, gonna be a long one." The guard making small talk was pondering for a second, "I could use a smoke-"

"gentlemen..." A woman clothed in all white with an elegant white mask walked up to the trio. She was accompanied by what looks like two maids wearing something akin to ANBU masks. They stood behind the woman in white, parallel to each other. "I do hope I'm not interrupting anything..."

"N-No Lady Boyle, we were just discussing our patrol routine for tonight. He said he was here to relieve us." The guard who made small talk was now practically shaking, evidently fearful of the hostess of the party.

"Oh did he now?" Lady Boyle slyly looked at the disguised Kaen, while the two maids stood their still, turning their heads to Kaen as well. One of the maids stepped forward, "My lady, I do believe that guard rotations will happen 6 minutes from now, but this one came very early." The maid on the left spoke.

"Quite the overachiever, aren't we? Were you hoping to gain some prestige by being a good dog and relieving your friends for their break?" Lady Boyle spoke as she walked closer to the disguised Kaen.

---------------------------------------------

"I've made my way upstairs; I think I see the route inside, I'm going to try and slip past these guards." Kagari could hear a Ruin's voice speak through his headset. "Good job, I was able to get past the idiots down below, I have a feeling we'll be meeting heavier resistance inside." As Kagari got to the top of the stairway, he saw the route that Ruin was talking about. Velvet ropes and red carpets guided the guests to what Kagari assumed was the auction, as guards watched over every other door or hallway leading to a different place.

Kagari made his way down the path drawn for him and saw the first target, Lady Boyle accompanied by two bodyguards. Everyone's eyes were on them as the Duchess was laying it into this guard. Kagari would non chlantly stand by a window, watching the exchange in front of him. "I see the first target, do you see her?" Kagari would wait for a response from Ruin.

So far so good...

Plan "incognito" was succeeding far better than he thought it would have. Luckily none of these guards were of shinobi class, so his disguise would go entirely unnoticed. At least until she appeared. Beautiful, curvaceous and clad in a garb comprised entirely of a bright, daunting white. She was joined by a pair of curious maids, something about them seemed off, Kaen had better be on his guard. "gentlemen..." The women in white gently said as she appeared from seemingly nowhere. "I do hope I'm not interrupting anything..."
The guard Kaen had previously been talking to straightened up immediately, his demeanor completely changed from before. Was he shaking? "N-No Lady Boyle, we were just discussing our patrol routine for tonight. He said he was here to relieve us." Holy... Fuck... This was her, the target, or rather one of them. Kaen's stomach sunk deep into his gut causing him to suddenly feel ill. To be in such close proximity to the mark, the feeling was a strange mixture of excitement and distress. "Oh did he now?" Lady Boyle's gaze fixated on Kaen, he could feel her icy gaze nearly freezing him in place. Shit... Was she on to him? What about these two maid guards? The maid on the left stepped forward, throwing wrench into the works. "My lady, I do believe that guard rotations will happen 6 minutes from now, but this one came very early." With so little info to go on, Kaen would have had no idea that they worked on time shifts like this. It's only six minutes, he could think of something... right? "Quite the overachiever, aren't we? Were you hoping to gain some prestige by being a good dog and relieving your friends for their break?" Lady Boyle would begin to approach Kaen.

At that exact moment, Kaen would hear Joker over the coms; "I see the first target, do you see her?" Fuck! Kaen was freaking out internally. He begun to sweat a little, the pressure was on and he needed to think fast to dig himself out of this hole. Kaen cleared his throat before spinning out some silk bullshit. "Ahem, well ma'am. I always thought it to be the best practice to be reliable. If you want to get anywhere in life you have to be dependable. The main reasoning for my early arrival is to get a quick debriefing of the past few hours, always helps me become more focused for my duties, ma'am." Well that sure was a mouthful. While Kaen himself was a firm believer of being dependable, it was the only thing he could think of in the heat of the moment. "I just want this night to go as smoothly as possible for you ma'am." He added for good measure.

Kaen's lack of response on the coms would surely throw Joker for a loop, but there was just no way for him to respond. Kaen glanced around the room, attempting to make it seem like he was still trying to do his "job" even while under the scrutiny of Lady Boyle. It was then that he spotted his partner, Joker, near the entrance to this floor. So close yet so far away... Kaen could only hope he would remain patient and that Lady Boyle or her entourage didn't catch onto this ruse, lest this party get real bloody real fast...

[OOC MFT]

Kaen had the full attention of everyone in the hallway, not a single person who was there didn't ignore the event in front of them. Kaen would have to act quickly to avoid any bloodshed. Thankfully he was able to put together a few eloquent sentences to take the heat off him, "Ahem, well ma'am. I always thought it to be the best practice to be reliable. If you want to get anywhere in life, you have to be dependable. The main reasoning for my early arrival is to get a quick debriefing of the past few hours, always helps me become more focused on my duties, ma'am." Despite her mask obscuring most of her facial features, you could see she kept a straight expression. However, you wouldn't be able to tell what the expressions were from her two attendants; as they too stood still waiting at the request of their master. Lady Boyle stayed silent, hummed at Kaen's quick wit. He added, "I just want this night to go as smoothly as possible for you ma'am. "What would happen to derail our little get-together? I would surely hope nothing would befall any of our esteemed guests."

"Regardless you seem to be very well spoken, are you sure you're just one of the many drones we hired just in case Come, entertain me." Lady Boyle would motion for Kaen to follow, her two guards looked at each other and followed suit. She would walk up the stairway leading to what would hopefully be the auction. Hopefully, Kaen has a few tricks up his sleeve; one of the targets was within his grasp.

"What would happen to derail our little get-together? I would surely hope nothing would befall any of our esteemed guests." Either this was the closest call Kaen had ever had or this woman already knew what was going on. He was already to far deep to quit now, Joker would just have to be left in the dark for now. Kaen would chuckle lightly, going along with Lady Boyle. "Yes well... A wise man once told me; Hope for the best and prepare for the worst." This was truth, one of Nadeko's agents had taught him that when he was younger, words to live by... "Regardless you seem to be very well spoken, are you sure you're just one of the many drones we hired just in case? Come, entertain me." Kaen would remain silent after this. His well mannered tones and thought out sentences were easily noticed by Lady Boyle, behind all that beauty surely lied a mastermind... Kaen would need to tread lightly from this point on, sure he had one of the targets in the palm of his hand, but she came with extra baggage. The too maids that accompanied her surely would cause him issues should he try anything rash. Kaen nodded in agreement to accompany Lady Boyle up the staircase, disappearing through the extravagant double doors above. One thing was on his mind, Joker's voice still pinging in his ear... Hold on Joker...

[OOC that last part was in my head, not radio traffic]

Lady Boyle would wait at the top of the stairs to see if Kaen would join her or not. "Come on, don't be shy." With the disguised Kaen following her, she would walk through a doorway being opened for her by two other attendants. Inside, there was a large table with various meats, cheeses, and other assortments of food. Although that was just the buffet, the real attraction was the several chairs in the middle placed in a wide circle. Several men and women were in their seats while others were standing off to the side. It was clear that this is where the auction would take place, most of its members had cards with their number on it to display that they were interested in purchasing what was being bid on. Lady Boyle would stop, turn her head towards Kaen; "Wait there for a moment, I need to address my guests." She would nod to her attendants to guide Kaen to their designated spot. The duo nodded and walked off to the side. Hopefully, Kaen would follow unless he was willing to reveal himself.

Lady Boyle would stand in the middle, the handful of people in the closed auction would take their seats. "Ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you to the main attraction of the night. For those of us in the room, we are the elite few who decide what's right and what's wrong. In our auction today I give those who are willing to do what is necessary. So, for our first item; a dossier on one of the many esteemed "wind lords." This wasn't the dossier that Kaen and Kagari were looking for, it sounds like that item would bid on later. Lady Boyle would continue to list the things they were offering on; slaves, antique items, whatever that was deemed valuable by the wealthy. One of the maids would step away for a moment, then turn to her partner; "Keep watch over this one, I'm requested down at the kitchens." The said maid would walk off and leave the closed auction, with the other one standing to the side of Kaen.

From where Kaen was standing, he would be able to see all the guests including Lady Boyle speaking. Unfortunately, there was no way to document the guests unless Kaen or Kagari would be able to get their hands on their possessions. Most of the people in here had masks on so it obscured their identities. Although Lady Boyle herself was in a precarious position, above her was a chandelier made of what looked to be gold, but it was most likely steel painted and shined. It was large, bulky as it had many glass decorations and lights all symmetrically put together. It could crush just about anyone, killing them instantly. On the bottom of the chandelier was what looked to be like a spear tip, right above Lady Boyle's head.

If Kaen noticed, behind the buffet table was the chandelier crank that held it in place. If someone were to pull it, well Lady Boyle would be crushed just about instantly. But before Kaen could do anything, the maid to his side would speak up.

"Why are you here?" One of the maids would ask.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kagari noticed that Ruin wasn't answering responding to his call. 'Shit, he might be compromised, but he might not be in a position to answer. He did say he was able to to the upper levels earlier... But I haven't seen any of the guards on high alert, especially that trio in front of me.' Kagari would watch the duo the disguised Kaen was talking to try to relax. Lady Boyle and the mysterious guard that was following her disappeared behind some doors. Kagari would walk up to two guards, coughed in his hand to get their attention, "May I pass?" Kagari asked.

"Sure, sorry sir. But we need to pat you down just in case." One of the guards checked Kagari by lightly slapping Kagari's suit down with his hands. He even patted Kagari's pant legs. He wouldn't be able to find anything if he did, as the weapon on Kagari was easily concealable. "He's all clear." the guard would say to his partner. Kagari nodded, "Thanks, and if you don't me asking what was all that about?"

The guard shrugged, "Beats me, I'm just glad I'm not that guy, though."

"I've never seen him around before, though. Was he with us during orientation?" His partner asked.

"He might have been a last minute addition. Anyways you're clear to go up sir." they would stand to the side to let Kagari pass. He would walk up the stairs and instead of going through the doors, he walked to the end of the hallway where it opened up to a balcony overlooking the grounds. Looking over the stone railing, he could see ledges on the wall that any trained acrobat could use the ledge to hang or shimmy across. Kagari looked above and saw one more level, and an open window. "Perfect." He double checked to see if anyone was around him and mantled on the railing and jumped towards the window. Hopefully, no one below was watching.

The room he jumped into was a smaller parlor than the one down below; it looks like this is where the power duo entertains their more personal guests. Opening the door would lead into a corridor with a few doors on the left wall. As Kagari roamed down the hallway, he listened in for any guards or the sick doctor. At the corner, he peeked around and spotted a door, slightly open. Kagari opened the door slowly he could hear coughing. The only lights in the room were the burning fireplace, and the moonlight illuminating some of the insides. As Kagari investigated the area more carefully, he saw stacks of books, a few plants; some dead and some alive., There were papers scattered across the room with scribbles, some legible some not. This was most likely the Doctor's room, and considering the mess it was; he must not be well.

"Come on, don't be shy." Kaen was still in a trance, unsure whether or not this woman was on to him or not. She led him and her entourage of secret service maids up the staircase and into the next room. Two other servants would open the big double doors wide for them to enter, inside made the lower levels look indigent and cheap. A large table would bear many wide assortments of intricate and extravagant foods, somethings Kaen had either never heard of or would never dare put in his mouth, yeah i'm talking about you escargot... It was nearly sickening to think how well some people had it, so far above the rest they simply cant help but see as mere ants in their wake. Tossing those distracting ideas from his mind, he scanned the room. Besides the lovely food arrangement, in the middle was a large circle of chairs. A few interested parties had already taken their seats, while a few others still mingled near the buffet or off in dark corners most likely plotting future endeavors. If Kaen had his way, they might all die today. "Wait there for a moment, I need to address my guests." Lady Boyle would direct her maiden knights to guide Kaen to a spot just the side of the buffet, he went willing. It had a decent vantage point, nothing but a wall behind him and the door leading out just across from him. Though if things got hairy, the door out was going to be the least of his concerns.

Lady Boyle would take her place in the center of the room, the other guests would find their seats before she would announce herself to the crowd. "Ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you to the main attraction of the night. For those of us in the room, we are the elite few who decide what's right and what's wrong. In our auction today I give those who are willing to do what is necessary. So, for our first item; a dossier on one of the many esteemed "wind lords." Hmm, not the one him and Joker were concerned about. She continued down a list of various other items, trinkets and sadly the human trafficking issue was present. He was going to have to hang tight a while before they got the item in question, Kaen began to wonder where Joker had gone off to, though he was probably wondering the same of him... One of Lady Boyle's maids would turn to the other before leaving the room; "Keep watch over this one, I'm requested down at the kitchens." Well that made his day a little easier, Kaen was so sure he was going to have to deal with her cutely dressed body guards soon enough.

All the guests including Lady Boyle were talking quietly among themselves, most likely calling dibs or something on what items they wanted, it was hard to tell who had the most money here to throw around. It was too bad they were all wearing masks, getting some facial recognition would be nice to track these people down later... But wait, isn't there a super secret elite Anbu member in the room right now? It would be a shame if... Oops... Kaen was recording now. [Using Snapshot Rank 1] With this he would be able to record the entire show, he was sure it would bode well for his field report later on after he completed the mission. Kaen just noticed a pointy chandelier that hung nicely over Lady Boyle, a fitting impalement like death, when the time came of course, he REALLY needed to rendezvous with Joker somehow... One of the maids would turn to Kaen, surprising him with a strange inquiry. "Why are you here?" He was taken aback a bit, why was she being so direct? He threw up the first words he could muster to avoid suspicion as best he could. "My job, same as you..." Kaen would remain straight faced, eyes forward. In truth he wasn't lying, they both had jobs to do, his was just most likely the opposite of hers. Kaen needed to buy more time, wait for an opportunity to make a move, or for Joker to show up. In the end, he had a few tricks up his sleeve, luck would need to be on his side if he wanted to make it out of here without burning the entire estate to the ground. While that would get the job done, it doesn't really look well on paper. Kind of negates the traditional Anbu ways. "So.. did the Mrs. buy you at an event like this, or did you just come with the house?" He still remained steady, trying his hand at some humorous small talk, but something told him her and the other maid that left were more of the serious type. None the less he needed some time, he would get it however he could.

"Why are you here?" the maid would ask calmly. "My job, same as you..." The disguised Kaen would say, just as calm as his guardian. The maid stayed quiet after his response. "So.. did the Mrs. buy you at an event like this, or did you just come with the house?" A little jab, but it was now clear that this "guard" wasn't who he said he was. If he was just an average man, he sure had a mouth on him that got him in trouble. "Avoid the question all you like, but it does not get you closer to your goal. It is no secret why you are here." The maid would then turn her head towards Kaen, "You assume that Lady Boyle holds our leash, but in fact, she doesn't. We are here only to watch. But the Lady Boyle has overstepped her bounds, believing to be above us." The maid would then begin to go down the same door her partner went down. Stopping in front of Kaen, "Do your mission ANBU agent, but know that we are always watching." The maid would go through the doorway, leaving Kaen alone in the room. Lady Boyle was still underneath the chandelier, listing the items on sale for the evening.

"Now, the final item for sale tonight; we have acquired something special; a dossier containing information on Sunagakure's entire Shinobi infrastructure. I know that doesn't seem valuable, but it provides details on every ninja on their current roster; Operations they have organized and even...those they have hidden inside the Obsidian." A man holding a briefcase stood off to the side, presenting the item for sale for each of the interested parties gathered there. The man stepped back towards a different doorway and waited patiently to be called upon again. "Now may I start the bidding at a generous 10.5 Million?" Time was of the essence and Kaen was now alone with no one guarding him, what would he do next?

---------------------------
Wheezing, coughing and ragged breathing could be heard at the corner of the room. Behind some medical curtains, the silhouette of a man laying down illuminated by the moonlight helped Kagari find the Doctor easily in the stuffy room. Kagari slowly crept along the wooden floor, as he opened the divider revealing the state of the man. The man looked like he was infected with some disease; pale skin with patterns of something that looked like bruising all over his body. Different chemicals poured in and out of his body, only his mouth was the only thing that didn't have something going through it. The doctor slowly opened his eyes, only to see a stranger in front of him. "W-Who are you?" His words shakingly came out, still weakened by whatever afflicted him. "I'm nobody, but you....What the hell happened to you?" The doctor smiled, "A victim of my success." The doctor tried to stretch his arms out to present himself but gave up halfway.

"I was often called by my patients to...speed up the process for some of their family members. Or, I was told to "administer" cures to various rivals and cousins. It was a brilliant way to make money, selling diseases and death. But my wife decided to use my own weapon against me." The doctor gazed at the portrait of his wife over the fireplace, a reminder of who put him there and whom he trusted with his life."Why are you telling me this?" Kagari walked towards the bedside of the doctor, curious why the man would spill his secrets to a complete stranger. "I am dying young man, and I am afraid. Afraid of what awaits me." The doctor looked towards the heaven, wishing an answer would come. "Will the first people who meet me be the ones that I helped or the ones that I killed?" He closed his eyes, the faces of the people in his care flashed in front of him. "I beg you to do something for me, young man...A favor for this Doctor" The doctor raised his finger slowly, pointing at something in front of him "S-She must die." His finger pointed towards his loving wife above the fireplace, hate in his eyes. The doctor reached for Kagari; the teen clasped his hand with his, resting it on the bed. "Sleep now Doctor Vicktor; it is time for you to rest." Kagari looked over towards the transparent liquid pumping into the doctor's arm and released the rest of the dosage. The doctor's eyes fluttered back and forth, whatever life was in there slowly faded away. Kagari closed the medical curtains behind him and talked into his headset. "The Doctor is dead. I repeat the Doctor is dead."

"Avoid the question all you like, but it does not get you closer to your goal. It is no secret why you are here." Kaen's heart sunk into his stomach, the jig was up and he was most likely seconds away from being discovered. A single bead of sweat would perspire from his temple and slid down the side of his face. Mission failure was unacceptable for him, he needed to do something quick! The maid turned to face Kaen, this must be where it all goes down hill... "You assume that Lady Boyle holds our leash, but in fact, she doesn't. We are here only to watch. But the Lady Boyle has overstepped her bounds, believing to be above us." And then she left... Just as the one before her had, she stopped to give on last partying comment. "Do your mission ANBU agent, but know that we are always watching." He was alone now... Um... what? She just left? Who... But... What did this mean? Who did those two actually work for?!?! Kaen's head spun in place for a moment trying to come to grips with the most opportune moment he was given.

"Now, the final item for sale tonight; we have acquired something special; a dossier containing information on Sunagakure's entire Shinobi infrastructure. I know that doesn't seem valuable, but it provides details on every ninja on their current roster; Operations they have organized and even...those they have hidden inside the Obsidian." The best for last it seemed, the item in question had finally come to pass. With Lady Boyle along with all he guests distracted by the most intriguing item up for bid, Kaen would have his moment to check in with Joker, finally. Kaen would begin to reach for his mic to open up the channel, but would be cut short as Joker himself came blaring over the coms. "The Doctor is dead. I repeat the Doctor is dead." One target down, only the Lady herself was left to be dealt with, and he had a quick simple way that wouldn't point to infiltrated ninja, or so he hoped. Opening the coms, with much relief, he relayed his current situation along with copying his transmission. Ruin copies, I have the second objective in sight and will begin closing in! Yes it was quick and cryptic, but he was sure that Joker would understand what he meant, if nothing else happy that he responded. He didn't have time to be holding lengthy conversations with the mission on the line.

"Now may I start the bidding at a generous 10.5 Million?" Now was the time to act! This should be relatively easy, given that all of these people should be normal humans, his advanced techniques would most likely overcome their senses with ease. In a simultaneous action, Kaen quickly formed the seals he needed, behind his back of course, no peeking! Kaen's body began to almost dissipate at he started to blend in with his surroundings. In that same instance a clone of himself would split off of him and stand at the ready next to the rope that held a very nicely placed chandelier above Lady Boyle's head. Using his natural sneaky nature, and now garbed in an anbu trained ability, Kaen would sink into the darkness, hiding from sight... in plain sight. Now that he was hopefully invisible to the naked eye, Kaen approached the frantic bidder's circle. His movement was slow and methodical, can't make to much noise by running. He approached Lady Boyle and the man holding the briefcase, staring them both in the eyes. Kaen would give the mental command for his clone to release the rope, now that Lady Boyle was frozen in his Anbu bind. Kaen would wait for it to connect, killing her in the process. Once impact was made, he would seize the briefcase from the paralyzed man. Nobody should really notice, not while screaming and scrambling towards the doors, covered in blood that would gush everywhere from the impact. Still hopefully hidden from sight, he would relay his progress. The Lady is down, I repeat, Lady down. I have the objective and am moving out. If everything had gone to plan, mission success would only be minutes away.
