Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The Bout of Brothers [KIRI-KUN]

He blinked a few times, amazed at the boy's words before it sank into him. While the mood was happy, there was a part in Kiri that seemed to feel saddened. Why was he in need of protecting? Didn't he aim to be stronger in order to avoid this? Ah, but isn't that why he was defeated? That only meant he was still that useless kid. His brows furrowed for a moment before he looked away and focus on his food just so he wouldn't allow for more concern. And with Mizu joining them, he would occasionally divert his attention and pet the otter.

After a while, he would take a pause from eating. It suddenly occurred to him that he didn't know what to do at that point. He had lived life on a busy schedule, more so when he became Osu's student and an intern in the village hospital, that he came to a realization that he didn't know how to interact with people outside from it. Such a sad story.

So he quickly worked through his memory and tried to remember how things were supposed to go. And as he cleared his throat, he would look at Kiri and say, "So... uh... What are you up to lately?"

"Well, I've been doing a lot around the estate, with the family. Other than that, I've been busy with missions. Lately there's been a flood of a new students so... I've been hanging out with them as well. The next generation is showing much promise. On top of that, I've clearly been training for the world tournament. I'm really looking forward to it."

Hoshi munched on his food some more, crumbs of the sticky white rice hanging from the corner of his mouth before he wiped it clean. He took a long sip of some warm tea and large drink of moderately cold water. The food was fulling to his physical after that workout. He looked over to Kiri and cleared his throat.

"So what about you? Staying out of trouble I bet, heh."

Hoshi joked around and threw some more into his bowl. He continued indulging, the same as Mizu. Mizu was just helping himself as the food was diminishing at a high rate from him just swallowing food in one gulp. That was one thing about otters, they stomach a whole fish in a gulp. Hoshi stared bug eyed and then adverted his attention back to Kiri.
