It seems that the ancient forest has called to her once more. Something that desperately needs Kumogakure’s attention it seems, but that's perfectly fine, Minako personally doesn’t mind doing these missions, it gives her something to do and it helps her with her laziness, since she can be an extremely lazy person when it comes to certain aspects of life.
There has been various wolves that have been spotted within the ancient forest, and that was only after a boy apparent ran in the village screaming out that he has spotted them. Of course, the residents stopped believing him for a while, but now that wolves have been spotted in the forest, it was time for them to be dispatched properly, hence, Minako was sent.
Crouching down, Minako made sure that her feet made no noise as she let her feet follow each other slowly. She needed to first find the wolves, then go all rambo and defeat them. Right now, she couldn’t hear any growls or anything else that correlates to the wolves, this worried Minako to an extent. What if she arrived too late?? What if the wolves are already in the village and starting to tear their teeth into the villagers? She didn’t want to think about the whole ordeal, all she had to do was hope they were still around and keep herself calm.
That was when she heard it, she started to hear some growling and maybe even some whines, like they are little puppies needing attention. That was when Minako knew she had found them. Peering through the bushes she was hiding in, she spotted them, and oh boy, there were quite a few of them. Luckily, they all seemed to be minding their own business right now, but that was not the point, they looked dangerous and hungry… Minako had to be careful.
Suddenly, one of the wolves looked up and started to sniff around, Minako’s cautiousness has most certainly not paid off. They must have smelt her scent, it was dangerous and different than the forest that they resided in. The wolf edged closer to Minako, and that was when it came to be her chance to strike. She brought out Titania and Oberon, the weapons that became one with her while she was resting in the forest, and struck the wolf in the nose. The wolf, of course, reacted badly to the strike.
That was when Minako got herself ready for the action to start! She jumped out the bushes and landed on a tree branch of a tree. Her eyes glared at the wolves with determination, she wanted to take them down as soon as possible… maybe if she stayed on the branch and used Cinderella to take them out…
“Fuck it.” Minako mumbled as she replaced Titania and Oberon, placing them away and then taking out Cinderella, her prized bow, and aimed them at one of the wolves. She was ready to strike and she was ready to strike them all down completely.
With her aim in full confidence, she shot the arrow at the wolf, to which the wolf yelped out and started it’s fury over the action. The wolf tried to crawl up, but with another arrow to it’s leg, the wolf fell.
“Who the hell is next??” Minako mumbled as she pulled back the string of her bow once more and aimed at another wolf. She shot at their back and they were quickly down and out for the fight. “The bastards don’t seem to give up yet.” She took one good look at the area after she said them words, there seemed to be four more to deal with, this was going to be very interesting indeed…
Pulling back the string of Cinderella once more, the female shot one of the remaining wolves and they also went down pretty quickly… considering Minako shot their chest when they jumped up, it was pretty simple to understand.
Three more, and Minako spent no time trying to take them down, pulling back her bowstring as far back as possible, she shot one of the wolves, however, it missed. It didn’t stop her from trying again and bingo, they were shot. Onto the other two, which she tried her best to shoot them in quick succession. Every now and then, she would fail in shooting them, but overall, the job was finished. They were all down, and the village was safe from an impending wolf invasion.
It was time for Minako to turn the mission in. She hoped that this would mean that the boy would stop going on about wolves, she also hoped that there would be no more impending wolf invasions to worry about.
Jumping down from the branch she was standing on, she bit her lower lip and walked off, it was time to turn the mission in, and then kick arse somewhere else, it wouldn’t surprise her if she was sent for something else by now.
