Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The scared boy had been approached by a panicked man, he was screaming and yelling and while he didn’t quite understand what the panic was about, he knew it needed to be addressed. Reaching up and out he put his hand on the man’s shoulder, “Calm down, take a few deep breaths and tell me what is the problem?” after a moment of the man took a deep breath and then another before he spoke, “There is a fire started in the Ancient Forest, we were firing off fireworks, one tipped before it fired, landed in the forest and has caused a fire to start, we were unable to put it out! We need help!” Kyo nodded his understanding, “Which part?” The man replied providing the directions necessary and Kyo stepped back ready to dash off to do his part, “You need to continue on to the guard post three streets down on the right and notify the proper authorities of what is happening. I’ll head out there and do what I can until they arrive. Now move.” He pushed the man in the proper direction as he dashed off, he was heading directly towards where the man said the fire had been started, running up the side of buildings and then leaping from building to building to shorten his route. Along the way he radioed in on his headset, using a channel he likely shouldn’t have, “This is Hotaka Kyo, there is a situation in the Ancient Forest that I am investigating, supposed fireworks mishap has led to a fire. Will report once on site.” As he finished he awaited an angry response that didn’t come as he continued to hop building to building.

It wasn’t too long before the glow could be seen, from his previous visits to the Ancient Forest he knew what should have been, but instead what he found was nearly what the man had described, obviously grown larger since the man had left on foot, following the streets to get help at a much slower pace than he himself was able to travel at with his physical training as well as his charka control allowing him to go places they couldn't.

Utilizing the headset once more he gave a quick report, “Fire confirmed, blaze seems to be out of control, no nearby civilians are spotted. Attempting to contain fire and minimize damage.” This time there was a short clipped reply, “Affirmative.” Was all that was said. Satisfied with the report he had made, he instead turned his attention to the blaze before him. He knew some water Jutsu, water gun might be of some use here, on the other hand he knew you could smother fires with earth and cut them off from their supply of oxygen, put them out that way. Thus his Tremor strike would also be useful in putting out the ground fires. He pondered for several moments on what to do as he made his way closer to the blaze, hopping from the nearest roof and running across the proceeding distance at his full speed. He eventually decided on working on containing the fire on the ground before he moved to work on keeping it from spreading in the trees, the growth on the bottom of the forest combined with the leaves that blanketed the ground meant that the fire could very well spread extremely quickly if nothing was done on that front, likely far quicker than from tree to tree. He noted that on his way there he didn’t pass any other civilians running, or anyone that seemed like they were celebrating anything that required fireworks. He pushed that thought form his mind as he instead focused on what was ahead of him, as the task was something that a student shouldn’t really be required to perform, even one that was as close as he was to finishing and becoming an actual nin.

As he quickly approached the ground fire leapt up into the air, flipped and spun while still standing straight out and then came back onto the ground, causing two separate waves of earth to shake and shift in its wake, dropping into a depression that helped corral the fire in a circle originating from where he landed, he had aimed is so that the two of them would circle around and smash into each other in the rear of the area, though he wasn't certain that he had gotten everything himself. The fact that it hadn't rained any time recently was a large problem, the ground was dry, and the air was dry and the trees as well. He quickly settled on utilizing another weak water jutsu that he knew, it would have to do. Taking a deep breath he focused for a moment before exhaling, a mist came from his mouth and began to settle in the area round him, he moved about quickly focusing as best he could, repeating the task in as swift a manner as possible, inhale, concentrate, exhale, inhale, concentrate, exhale, over and over again as he circled the burning area, causing an unnatural mist to form around the blazing fire.

At a loss on what to do now, the boy was spared having to worry about it as the other nin had begun to arrive, they immediately saw him and waved him over. “Good job young one, go and file a report, you've done this before so you know the process. We will take it from here." Kyo gave the man a bow, "Affirmative." he replied simply as he turned he started off at a more leisurely pace than he had taken to get there, covered in water from both the mist and from the work of his actions satisfied he had done the right thing.

It wasn't long at all before the grey-orange glow faded from existence, the fire having been put out by those actually capable of doing it. The young boy made his way to the appropriate post, filled out the paper report utilizing his drawout jutsu, and gave as an accurate report as he could verbally before bowing and heading on his way home.
