Appearance
General appearance:
Kaguya Daigo is a tall, toned, dark brown man with a slim yet muscular physique. While naturally shaggy and matted, he now rocks a jet black wavy style caesar haircut with a chin strap beard, 5 O’clock shadow on his cheeks, and a neatly trimmed tuft tip goatee. Being the son of both an inuzuka as while as a kaguya much like his cousin, Daigo takes after both his parents. From his mother’s side of the family, he developed feral facial features like pricked ears, razor sharp claws in place of frail nails, enhanced senses, an affinity towards canines, and rather sharp cuspids. From his father’s side of the family, Daigo gained advanced natural healing, a very strong skeletal structure, decent muscle mass, enhanced strength, enhanced reflexes, enhanced flexibility, among many other traits.
He possesses crimson red eyes, small cheek dimples when he smirks, a small thin diagonal scar through his right eyebrow, and three long yet very thin horizontal scars stretching from the left side burn, across both his eyelids and the bridge of his nose to the other side burn. Unlike Daisuke, Daigo followed the customary tradition in the Kaguyan bloodline to preserve his family lineage through a marking ritual without being compelled by the death of his parents. Daigo’s forearms have been marked extensively, from wrist to elbow, in an intricate tribal tattoo design using the primate, canine, and a mystery beast symbol to represent strength, honor, and courage respectively. Other tribal tattoos include the following: none so far, but he will gain a few more. When working, he maintains a professional appearance by wrapping his arms, from his knuckles to his elbows, in bandages. The image below is the closest visual representation of the marking that could be found.
Clothing:
Daigo is always seen wearing both a dark grey sakkat and shroud with a crimson red interior and a black cone tip at the top. Daigo also has a metal plate with the cloud village emblem embedded in the tip of the sakkat (conical straw hat); the same plate that could be seen on a cloud headband. The emblem is always vertical aligned above Daigo’s eyes. While the shroud carries the same crimson red interior and dark grey exterior design as the sakkat, it also conceals Daigo’s entire body from his neck to his ankles. Underneath his shroud however, Daigo wears a dark red dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows the the shirt tucked into black dress pants. Along with that, a black vest with a red pocket square, a red tie tucked into the vest, a small waist chain that extends from his left front pocket to his back left pants pocket and steel-toed boots.

[fontsize="15"]Personality (updating)[/fontsize]
At a very early age, Daigo was diagnosed with a form of antisocial personality disorder known as psychopathy, however his symptoms conflicted with the illness. Upon asking for more clarification, the doctor stated that a person suffering from antisocial personality disorder, or more specifically psychopathy, can understand emotions like love, pain, empathy and so on, but they can’t feel these emotions at all. The doctor went on to state that it didn’t necessarily mean that a person with this illness is violent. It just meant that this person was without a conscience. Lacking normal emotion, they tend to manipulate everyone around them, lie pathologically, and are rather promiscuous. Psychopathy is just genetic in general. There is really nothing that can be done about it. While he possessed the traits of a textbook psychopath, he lacked the violent outbursts and the complete absence of emotion. It was for this reason that he was classified as a “high functioning” sociopath instead. Highly valuing the importance of education and an occupation, Daigo was well educated and remained gainfully employed whilst beginning to commit various crimes for the thrill of it. He easily remained calm in situations deemed very stress worthy and most everything he did was meticulously premeditated and planned. He was capable of emotional attachment although it was difficult to achieve and despite his capacity for emotions, he seemed to disregard social mores as a whole when he was younger.
He has since learned to fit in and behave himself, tricking people into believing he was a normal person by using what he believed to be superior intellect and superficial charm to display an appreciative, kind hearted, and selfless facade. In a long term attempt to be normal, he tends to humble himself and prefers not to fight. However, it should be noted that he has no moral, spiritual, psychological, or emotional issue with either taking a life or exploiting others for personal profit and pleasure. He has made this tremendous effort all these years to avoid being a crazed stereotype and as such, he has developed a sense of self loathing over time, believing himself to be a fake person who constantly hides his true nature and intentions just to be liked and accepted by everyone around himself. The worst part is that he doesn’t even care about other people’s views towards him, but he tries to seem approachable as having a good relationship with others means he can manipulate them much easier. Knowing deep in his heart that he’s instinctively nice to others solely to use them later makes him dislike himself even more.
Despite his bad upbringing and his mental illness, Daigo has a strong desire to be just like everyone which is why he seeks psychological treatment on a regular basis. For all his efforts, Daigo still has a darker side within himself. He learned to manage his darker urges so that it does not spill over into his social life or affect his work. As a result, Daigo participates in risky behavior like occasionally attending events at the black lotus resort, and recently becoming a career criminal where he commits both blue and white collar crimes outside kumogakure. It should be noted that he only targets and commits crimes against other known criminals as this makes him seem morally justified. Daigo has fears just like anyone else. In fact it was his fear of being locked away like a stereotypical psychopath that drove him to attempt to be normal. Daigo is afraid of death, only because he doesn’t know what is on the other side assuming that there even is an other side. That being said, the kaguya clan holds no grudges and thus Daigo has no problem dying so long as it serves a purpose or as long as he dies for what he believes in. After having the demon Gantetsu sealed within his body, Daisuke's personality has not been affected much by the lava demon. He does however get annoyed by Gantetsu's voice.

Birth to early childhood: Ages (0-10yrs)
Originally born in Port Cirrus, the famous port city to the southwest of Kumogakure, Daigo grew up in an extended family. He lived with his parents, aunts, and uncles in a decent sized home which was slowly falling into disrepair despite their best efforts. Daigo grew up with his cousins among whom was Daisuke, the future medical sennin, in a comfortable lower middle class society. While Daigo’s aunt and uncle occupied the jobs of upstart merchants, his parents simply helped where they could to support them. They provided the goods through their own illicit means while Daisuke’s parents sold it to pay the bills, completely unaware of how their goods were obtained. While the adults saw to supporting their family, Daisuke and Daigo’s much older cousin sought to train them in the ways of the kaguya clan, though it was less savage in nature.
The family made efforts to chat up the tourists and gather new information about a plethora of subjects. They made it their mission to gather intel on what their customers desired so that they could be prepared for the demand by stocking their home with said items. For all their efforts, money was still tight in their home; Tighter than the virgin Mary, before she gave birth. Daigo’s parents even went so far as to start making backroom deals with low life smugglers. In exchange for storing contraband in their basement unbeknownst to the rest of the family, they would be rewarded handsomely for their services. Initially, his parents actions could be deemed as simply reckless and blame it on their desperation and naivety. After all, it was all done to ensure their family’s financial security. Unfortunately over time, it began to corrupt them even more so than what they were already. His relative’s business eventually flourished into a very successful merchant company after many years of hard work, dedication, sleepless nights, careful planning, and trust in one another. Thanks only in a small part his the illicit activities of Daigo's parents.
The business, now known as The ‘Supernova’ Merchant Company or S.M.C. for short, grew to such a proportion that Daigo’s parents were put in charge of managing a second business. They were sent to expand and operate out of Port Cirrus’ sister city, Kelmura, which was located further south. Believing strongly in education, the older generation went on to send their youth to the best schools where they collectively remained a B average on their studies. Where Daisuke’s parents excelled in street smarts, they made sure that the young generations excelled in book-smarts. While that was once true for Daigo’s parents, their seedy deals made them value hard labor and street smarts more so than academics. As a result, whenever Daisuke visited Kelmura, he was put to work like Daigo, but when Daigo visited Port Cirrus, he was made to study. It was around this time that Dashi left for what he believed to be a good school only to realize he had been sent to a ninja village. Dealing with the daily stresses of a life in the Anbu branch while attempting to manage a misdiagnosed and untreated mental illness over an extend period of time would take its toll on Dashi. Eventually, he would succumb to the pressure and lose his life during an interrogation.
The Kaguya clan, or at least this branch of the clan, believed in not holding grudges against anyone so long as their family member or close friend was given a glorious death. After a month or so of mourning the death of their relative, the families continued on with their lives as such was the way of life. The sad fact was that the world would not stop spinning just because a relative had passed. The world was not that merciful. From Daigo's perspective, they still had a successful business on their hands. Now was the time to secure their place in the higher social class rather than watch their slowly rising empire crumble because of a single person. He loved his uncle dearly since Dashi was one of the few people Daigo ever really connected with, but they had to get back to business. They would do not only for financial means, but because this for the sake of their future generations. It was around this time that Daigo’s behavior caused concern for his folks. After being examined, he was diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder due to his lack of regard for other people’s rights, the violent outbursts against bullies, the lack of an emotional connection to his family or friends, and his lack of conforming to social norms. Upon further examination, he would later be deemed as a “high functioning sociopath” rather than a psychopathy. Regular psychotherapy would have helped Daigo better manage his illness, but the illicit activities his parents would force him to do over the next few years would only make things worse. It would be a long time before Daigo received the help he needed today.
Skip a few years...
From Blacksmith & Privateer: Ages (21-22yrs)
Over the next three months, Daigo worked as a blacksmith in a few small towns of little importance. He made mostly hoes, metal rakes, machetes and scythes for cutting down their crops, horseshoes, etc. Barely ever was he asked to make a weapon. Realizing that he wasn’t going to make a decent living in these small towns, he spent the next three months at sea as a privateer, all the while sending letters of his woes to Daisuke. Being a sennin at the time, Daisuke managed to offer Daigo a legitimate cloud citizenship opportunity. This meant that upon arrival, he could become a full fledged cloudie. Given that he had financial struggles, the merchant company in Kelmura was still under investigation, and his military career was at an end, Daigo accepted rather quickly. If anything, cloud possessed fine minerals which he could use to help him build up a decent career as a blacksmith. Creating unique weapon could be his game and if all else failed, he could become a mednin. His options were laid out before him and his path was set once again. Well Daigo could admit that it would be good to see his cousin again, he was not thrilled about meeting new people, then developing a more sociable persona with which he would use to manipulate others around him.
And thus began his trek to kumogakure. He followed every instruction written down in his letters and upon his arrival he was greeted by his cousin. Daigo informed his relative about the investigation and of his parent’s crimes, which was not surprising to Daisuke. His relatives were always sneaky in one way or another. The bonehead did his cousin the courtesy of allowing him to room with him briefly, just until the court hearings were over. As such, Daigo had to work off his debt by working part time at Daisuke’s free clinic. Moving to cloud and joining the hospital as a general practitioner was nice, but rather brief. Soon however, he had grown to love cloud just as much as Daisuke did, though Daigo usually had to make frequent trips out of the village to court hearing held in the Capital city. As such, Daigo never really got to explore kumogakure all that well. He was only familiar with the hospital and Daisuke’s home.
Present: Ages (22-24yrs)
After several years under investigation, Daigo’s Kelmura merchant branch was finally cleared of all charges. Relieved that the whole mess was cleared up, Daigo made his way back towards cloud when he met a group of strange individuals to this day he has kept a secret. After two years as a low level medic during Shinrya Kitsune's absence, Daigo found the job dissatisfying and requested to leave the branch. He took with him everything Daisuke taught him about medicine that he did not learn while in the army. Now he resides in cloud as a ninja, but seeks something better.
During this chapter of his life, he met a woman who would go on to tutor him in the arts of ninjutsu. For a single year, Daigo would have a teacher. The woman would not reveal the origins of her knowledge or what her intentions were, but she would state that she was from cloud village. (Leads into Kinjutsu app)

NPC Pet / Gantetsu's prison said:![]()
Name: (Formerly) Boshi / (Currently) Gantetsu
Known Epithets: "Big Boss" / "Warrior of the Wild"
Species: Primate
Gender: Male
Height: 5'5 (on knuckles), 6'5 (on feet)
Weight: At least 300 lbs
Diet / Favorite food: Omnivore / Fruits, vegetables, even some human foods.
History: Boshi was wild as a young pet. Naturally captured in the wild and brought into kumo as a new pet to be sold off. As a genin, Daigo had recently finished his exam and decided to reward himself with a companion. After all, the ninja world was tough and he had trouble making friends. Boshi was the same in fact. Having a rare white fur made him an outcast with his fellow primates. Both were alone and could use each other's company. Since then, Boshi was calmed down quite considerably and is now a well behaved primate. Given his natural ability to throw fecal matter, he is rather adept at throwing shuriken. After Daisuke's death, the demonic spirit Gantetsu managed to resurface only to find Daigo and the primate awaiting his arrival. The result of their first battle ended with the pet joining his master in the afterlife and an empty shell with Daigo. Utilizing both his illicit independently funded lab and his talents as a former kinjutsu surgeon, Daigo managed to heavily modify the primate's skeletal structure with a special material which could be produced by a rikudo sennin's chakra rod. During their rematch, Daigo managed to seal the demonic spirit inside of his pet's cadaver. Though he now resides in a primate's body, Gantetsu is now fully under Daigo's control. The demon still retains his knowledge of human speech amongst it's various other talents.
Appearance: Boshi is a large albino primate resembling a cross between a gorilla and a baboon. Along his fur are long fluorescence tribal-like markings that change in color depending on his emotional state. After the demon's influence, the primate now possesses a tail which burns brightly at its tip.
Personality: (Formerly Boshi) is very patient, practical, and mature. When summoned, he is quick to help and oblige the summoner even if he doesn't believe he can be much assistance. Boshi demands to be treated with the utmost respect, as a means of recognizing his power and wisdom. He is not without his manners, and will show respect to experienced and revered shinobi with loyalty and friendship. He's kind-hearted and considerate of others. Very assertive, observant, and cooperative, anyone would be grateful to have Boshi is a great companion.

Weight: 1,000 lbs aka half a ton (formerly)
History: It is unknown how Gantetsu came into existence, but it is known that he made a name for himself by using his brain as well as his brawn. It was due to his strategic mind that he was employed by various demon factions. Unfortunately, he never stayed for too long as he felt these faction leaders were too weak to lead him. It is not clear how he came into Mazoku’s employment, but after he betrayed his boss, Gantetsu was now sealed within Daigo's pet whilst being aided by Daigo's chakra rods suppressing the demon's influence.
Appearance: He is a mixture of magma, housed within mineral enriched jagged earth. Being made from magma, which is boiling molten rock which has not reached the point of eruption, his body heat could be felt from miles away. A humanoid golem in appearance, he is held together by special demonic chakra infused steel, trapping the magma inside, though there are still cracks in his body where one can see the magma. He has no organs, but is completely conscious.
Personality: Head strong and arrogant at first, Gantetsu is your stereotypical demon. Over time however, Gantetsu will learn compassion for humanity in his own way. He is still a sinister creature lurking within the ape’s body, but he will never be freed from Diago's grasp. His chakra rods and seal keep the demon constantly suppressed. His inner world is frozen lake with no tree or plant life around him. With the exception of his head, the rest of his body is frozen under the thick chakra enhanced ice. Daigo often sits in front of Gantetsu’s face whenever they need to speak.

He was a unique case as his fellow wardens wanted nothing to do with the worst prison on the outskirts of the city. He could have had a cozy job by becoming a prison guard or prisoner transporter in dog house minimum security prison, krazy kennel medium security prison, or Dog pound maximum security prison. Compared to Hell Gate, anywhere else would have been paradise, but Saburou stayed and cleaned the prison, making it a shining example of what perseverance could do.

Ancient Wisdom - General Contract Ability
While many contracts are reclusive and rarely show themselves to the outside world, do not make the mistake of assuming them to be unworldly; many contract beasts live lives far longer than humans, and with this age comes experience. Experience that can benefit those who heed its advice.
Effect:
- While the contract is present in battle, its allies gain a bonus based on its custom class 'High' stat(s); this bonus is +1 Acc/Dodge/DC/Save and +5% Damage dealt with it. These bonuses do not apply towards caps.
- Example; the contract with this ability having Nin Acc and Gen DC in high would grant its allies +1 to Nin Acc/Nin Dodge/Gen DC/Gen Save, and +5% Ninjutsu/Genjutsu damage.Ferocity - General Contract Ability
With primal rage, the beast strikes carry tremendous force. If their assault is allowed to continue for long, victims find their bodies a mangled mess.
Effect: +10% Melee Damage; this additional damage bypasses barriers and damage resistance.Predatory Precision - General Contract Ability
With uncanny swiftness, the beast strikes. In many cases by the time a victim is able to notice an attack, it is too late.
Effect: All techniques used by this contract are modded as if costing as -.5 Ap, to a minimum of .5 Ap.
Canine Specialized Abilities said:Wildsense - Canine Contract Ability
While heightened senses are not unique to the Canine contract, few beasts can ever claim to have them to the same degree as The Pack. The Canine contract is near-universally acknowledged for their superios sense of tracking, to the point where it is best to stand your ground rather than even consider attempting to run (let alone hide) from the pursuit of these beasts.
Effect:
- While in battle, enemies must flee an additional round while the user is present. This does not stack if multiple users with this ability are present.
- The contract and their summoner may join an in-progress battle a round earlier; however the round they enter the summoner will pay all costs (Both AP and CP) for summoning their contract as their first action (it is treated as having arrived with them though).
- If the contract owner has the Sage Mode ability, they may instead choose to join an in-progress battle a round earlier with Sage Mode already activated. In this case, they will not have their contract auto-summoned like above, and Sage Mode will last one round shorter.
Clawmark - Canine Contract Independent Special Move
To those of The Pack, it is not the kill that stirs their beastial instinct, but the thrill of the hunt itself. These beasts are not opposed to drawing out the hunt to relish every moment of it, and for this reason have developed a special technique that 'marks' a target as -their- prey, often in the form of something between a wound and seal. Once marked, it is said the beast only grows in strength the longer the hunt continues.
Effect: The user makes a basic attack at -2 accuracy and 1% Max CP, inflicting the victim with the Clawmark for two rounds. When the user deals critical hit damage to a target with the Clawmark active on them, the user gains temporary Hp equal to 10% of the critical hit's damage. This temporary Hp is reduced before the user's normal HP, and does not stack; the user only keeps whichever instance of temp HP is higher (such as a new attack replacing the old value). At any point, the user may choose to remove a Clawmark to automatically gain awareness of the target it was inflicted upon (This does not cost AP)
Visceral Attack - Canine Contract Senjutsu
To members of The Pack, the hunt is a feast to be enjoyed, and as the ultimate hunters, their power is even more effective against other beasts or those close to death.
Effect: This attack is used as a Called Shot to a specific limb (user's choice, random if unchosen). This deals 2890 damage and raises the targeted limb by 1 level, but for the duration of the round it is treated as Broken. If the target is a Contract summon, in Sage Mode, or below 50% Max Hp, this attack deals double damage and inflicts Suppression (may inflict suppression beyond the cap).
Cost: 2.75 Ap, 2060 Cp.
Note:
- A target may only be hit by this once per round.
- Jutsu subtype is chosen when the contract creature is designed; determining its accuracy and damage type.

Medical Branch Specialties - Kushin's original post said:Any shinobi can specialize in any attribute of medical knowledge. To gain this they must first post a roleplay of 600 words or more detailing a duration of time where they trained and received the knowledge. This can be done over multiple posts and can be done with another medical shinobi who is either also wanting to train in the same field or is already a trained shinobi in this field. In the case of two shinobi training in the same field in the same thread both shinobi must have 600 wc posts. In the case of a shinobi training under a shinobi already trained in a field the already trained shinobi’s word count adds to the training shinobi.
Training include (but are not restricted to):
- Kinjutsu Surgery (required to be experienced in if a mednin wants to be able to roleplay giving a kinjutsu to another shinobi)
- General Surgery
- Plastic Surgery
- Emergency Surgery
- Biology
- Trauma
- Chemistry
- Psychology
- Medical Research
- Medical Combat Training
- Medical Tutor (can be gained by teaching a class at the academy, reduces further training requirements by 100wc for themselves and anyone they're training with)
All of these specialties can be trained to Novice, Experienced and Mastered levels. Write a roleplay attempting to learn something and pm the Mednin Sennin who will give you your level.
