Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Tetsu A. Yama - NPC
"" - "Mountain"
the_ultimate_s_class_mage___gildarts_ft_by_kang1223-d5ext94copy_zpsbbb50e4a.png

Name: Tetsu A. Yama
Epithet: Immovable Mountain
(不動の山, Fudō no Yama)
Skirt Chaser (軟派, Nanpa)
Age: 36
Gender: Male
Body Frame: Muscular
Height: 6'5
Weight: 250 lbs
Hair Color: Red Orange
Eye Color: Brown
Occupation: Jounin
Core Ability: Earthborn
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Relationship to Character: Uncle, Father-figure
Chakra Mark: Tribal Mark on left shoulder

Appearance:
- Reddish orange hair hangs just above his shoulders. Usually slicked back, but has a tendency to become ruffled in battle.
- Yama's body is home to a countless number of scars, most of them on his torso and back.
- Muscles galore! Yama's vast battle experience and harsh training shows on his body.
- Almost never wears a shirt. Sometimes he'll have a dull cloak draped over his shoulders.
- Shoes are a no-no. He likes to be in constant contact with the earth.
- Scruff covers his face, resulting in a rough half-beard.
- His chakra mark is always on display, acting as a regular tattoo most of the time.

Personality:
- Cheerful. As long as he's got a drink or a woman on his arm, he's got no worries.
- Collected. When serious matters arise, he's calm as can be.
- Headstrong. Like his nephew, Yama follows his heart more often than his head.
- Imposing. His stature speaks for itself.
- Loud. His voice is naturally gruff so he's quite audible when he speaks.
- Proud. Of his family. Loves bragging.
- Tenacious. Even more-so than Mako (if that's even possible).
- Wise. Behind his seemingly care-free demeanor lies a world of reason.

Other Information:
- Titanic Physical Strength. Though, if held off of the ground (or if he just happens to be far away from it) it wanes a bit. He's still ridiculously strong...just not AS strong as he would be otherwise.
- Built like a wall. Not quite invulnerable, but very hard to faze.
- His anger isn't explosive, but it reeks of dread. If pushed too far, watch out.
- Yama is a VERY hearty drunk. He loves his poison and his poison loves him.
- Rugged charms and bulging muscles make him quite popular with the ladies.
- Generally ditzy. This is part-facade, part-inherent bad luck.
- Collateral Damage MASTER. Mako may wreck stuff with his silly antics, but Yama can reshape the earth.
- While not a master, Yama is fairly skilled at Fūinjutsu.

History:
A former Jounin of the Hidden Mist, womanizer, and all-around drunk, Yama is a well-rounded man. And by that, I mean that he's not well-rounded in the slightest. He's done a lot of things during his years of being a shinobi...not all of them good. But he loves Mako unconditionally. He may not be the 'ideal' father figure or know the most about parenting, but his intentions are always geared towards what's best for his family.

In his youth, Yama was much like his nephew. A lot like his nephew, actually. Brash, naive, and full of adventure. But whereas Mako had an appetite for food and fighting, his uncle's interests were more...carnal. Oh! And liquor, did I mention liquor? Anyway, decades of service and a colorful shinobi career served to strengthen Yama, but it also (amazingly) mellowed him out some and allowed him to mature. Though when he's playing grab hands with a local waitress it's sort of hard to tell...

As far as his connection with Mako goes, in short, he's his uncle. They aren't related by blood, but that's what's he's always been to him. When the kid was only seven years old he was left in Yama's care, and ever since then the older ninja has looked out for him. And by "looked out for him"...I mean put him through hellish training that endangered his life almost daily. Dumped him by himself on uncharted islands, left him alone in the wilderness...he even forced the child to fight him from time-to-time. Sure it was a little unorthodox, but in the end it worked out! Every challenge was an opportunity for Mako to become stronger. And Yama made damn sure he had PLENTY of challenges.

Gun - NPC
"" - "Force"
gajeel-redfox-black-hair-man-c%20copy_zpsvqi4japh.jpg

Name: Gun
Epithet: Red Hand
(赤い手, Akaite no Gun)
Demon (悪魔, Akuma)
Baka Porcupine
(馬鹿のヤマアラシ, Baka no Yamārashi)
Gum (ガム, Gamu)
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Body Frame: Toned, Fit
Height: 5'11
Weight: 400 lbs
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Dark Green
Occupation: Professional Mercenary
Core Ability: Demonic Ancestry
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Relationship to Character: Enemy, Rival
Chakra Mark: N/A

Appearance:
- A long ragged mane of black hair travels mid-way down his back. Very prominent widow's peak.
- His entire body is toned and fit from a lifetime of battle.
- Small scars riddle his torso, with a few more noticeable ones spiraling up his right arm.
- His dark green eyes glow with demonic chakra when under great duress.
- His canines are sharper than most people's almost appearing to be fangs.
- Can be seen wearing a variety of dark clothing. Never anything bright.

Personality:
- Aggressive. It's in his nature to be rough. Anyone who can't handle it should steer clear.
- Calculating. His experience from growing up on the battlefield definitely shines through at times.
- Competitive. Loves a good challenge almost as much as Mako does.
- Prideful. Don't mock him or his combat prowess...ever.
- Ruthless. Mercy is something he doesn't dole out too often.
- Scary. If the face piercings don't scare you away, his hostile personality probably will!
- Stubborn. Good luck trying to change his mind about...well...anything, really!

Other Information:
- Techniques of Holy origin give Gun a feeling of mild irritation...normally. They become exponentially more devastating the more his Ancestry takes hold.
- Similarly, sacred locations (shrines, hallowed grounds) make him uneasy and will outright reject his presence if his demonic nature surfaces.
- Fūinjutsu (Sealing Techniques) relating to suppressing Evil or Dark Chakra are very effective against him.
- Insane amounts of stamina. Can take as much punishment as Mako.
- Fights for the sake of fighting. He's not quite sadistic...but he pretty much walks the line.
- When under duress in combat, his nails grow slightly and sharpen like claws, granting him access to Slashing Taijutsu.
- Weighs much more than someone his age/size should, clocking in at just about four hundred pounds.
- Can hold a grudge like CRAZY.
- Has vowed to kill Mako. If anyone's gonna do it, it's gonna be him.
- Has a soft spot for orphans and outcasts. Considering he was/is both.
- The animal he shares most in common with is the wolf.
- Doesn't believe at all in ghosts, demons, spirits, gods, or the like.
- Isn't at all aware of his demonic heritage.

History:
"Red Claw" Gun...a title earned over the course of many years and MANY hard-fought battles. Growing up, battle was all he knew. He lived it. Breathed it. And it ain't hard to tell, either.

An orphan, Gun was found alone in the wilderness at the age of 7 by a gang of bandits. Now I know what you're thinking: "Bandits?! How original!" Yeah well...he kinda...killed most of 'em. Bandits (being the cutthroat lot that they are...), saw this as an opportunity to shake the kid down for whatever he was worth and leave him for dead. Gun took exception to that. Immediately the rogues regretted their decision as he carved a swath through their ranks with his bare hands. It was only until after the fact that they realized who they were dealing with...

...a devil.

Or so it seemed. A small child single-handedly cutting down armed outlaws would certainly leave that impression. There was something unnatural about the boy. The way he moved...the ruthlessness of his attacks. It took only about a minute to dispatch most of the aggressors, and after seeing the remaining ones sobbing and begging for their lives, Gun decided to spare them. But only under one condition...:

He was going to be in charge now. Gun had never had a family...and this was as close to one as he was gonna get. From there it was only a matter of time until the -now significantly smaller- bandit group recruited more men and swelled in size. Year-after-year they grew larger and larger, until they finally had enough manpower to move up in the world. Their days of pillaging and plundering were over. It was time to take the first step towards the big leagues. So with Gun at their helm and plenty of ambition to spare, the rogues began offering their services to anyone who had money enough to pay. It was official. They were Mercenaries. And it was glorious! Never had he fought as hard as those days. And with each passing month Gun only continued to grow in strength. It seemed like they were unstoppable! Any challenge Gun deemed worthy was enough for him. He didn't care about the money. Never did. But the more he fought...the easier it seemed? Every new assignment Gun cleaned shop faster and with less difficulty. In no time at all the thrill had completely been taken away from his fights. And then one day...after a particularly easy run...he had started to hear whispers of someone who sounded like one hell of a fighter. Rumor had it that some boy in the Water Country had taken down a beast the size of two skyscrapers combined! Rumor also had it that said boy acted like a monkey and couldn't navigate his way out of a straight corridor. Still, just the thought of a potential battle with this person caused the merc to start traveling towards Kirigakure. And who was this foolish young warrior that seemed to be a worthy opponent for an unstoppable force like Gun?

The ninja with rose-colored hair...

Sachi A. Gō - NPC
"" - "Strong"
maxresdefault%201%20copy_zpsfqo0wpht.jpg

Name: Sachi A. Gō
Epithet(s): Grandpa (祖父, Sofu)
Devil (魔人 , Majin)
Age: 68
Gender: Male
Body Frame: Stocky
Height: 7'1
Weight: 350 lbs
Hair Color: Rose (Graying)
Eye Color: Brown
Occupation: Hermit, Occasional Taijutsu Tutor
Core Ability: Reckless
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Relationship to Character: Grandfather

Appearance:
- He keeps his rose-colored spiky hair short. It was once as vibrant as his grandson's but is now almost completely gray.
- A beard of the same color covers his face.
- His eyes are brown and exude a warmth much like Mako's.
- At 7'1" with a wide build, Gō is a large man. He might not be as sculpted as he was in his youth, but he can still be just as intimidating.
- Orange and blue seem to be his go-to colors. His normal outfit consists of a blue undershirt and an orange suit, a dull tan coat with the kanji " emblazoned on the back draped over his shoulders.
- His skin is tan and weathered from a lifetime of living outdoors.
- Gō is almost never seen without that trademark Sachi grin on his face.

Personality:
- Boisterous. Despite his age, Gō is as excitable and cheerful as his grandson.
- Bullheaded. Seems like it runs in the family...
- Daring. Has no problem putting himself in dangerous situations and thinks nothing of it.
- Doting. In his own uh..."special" way, he's always concerned with his family's wellbeing.
- Forgetful. Often misremembers names and lets things slip he isn't supposed to.
- Impetuous. Relies on instinct and doesn't think too long before doing anything.
- Reclusive-ish. Despite his outgoing nature, Gō has learned to cherish privacy, peace and quiet in his old age.
- Scary. When he gets angry, his rage is palpable. He's the only person in the world that the fearless Fudō no Yama is afraid of.

Other Information:
- Ridiculous Strength. Gō may be old, but his strength hasn't declined all that much. Yama still has war flashbacks of training with him...
- Social norms and "manners" are all but lost on him. I'd say it's because he's a hermit...but it's more likely because he's a Sachi.
- Gō can't use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, but when it comes to unarmed fighting? He's a monster.
- Loves his family above all else...even the more troublesome members.
- Has the same horrible sense of direction as his grandson.
- ...and the same voracious appetite.
- Extremely deep sleeper. Good luck waking him up once he's out...
- HATES being reminded of his age.
- Can't lie to save his life.

History:
The history of the initial "A." is a long and tumultuous one. Its origins stretch back hundreds of years, even before the widespread usage of chakra. Despite the differences from person-to-person, bearers of "A." have an innate penchant for being at the center of trouble. And many of them have been the heralds of great change, both good and bad. But as for their modern descendants? Their contributions to the 'family' annals start with the current patriarch of the Sachi family...

Sachi A. Gō.

Though many carriers of "A." have been shinobi throughout the centuries, Gō never deigned to follow that path. Even as a child he held no grand delusions about the lifestyle. He wouldn't have made a very good ninja anyway. Could never stand being told what to do. But just because he didn't go through the Academy doesn't mean he's some old geezer who can't defend himself. Gō is a devil when it comes to unarmed fighting. He raised two children and taught them both how to fight (one of whom was in the Academy at the time...). And I when I say "taught", I mean "beat into them". If it's any testament to his prowess, he's one of the only people in the world who Yama is still afraid of. When he wasn't molding his sons into better fighters, he was out traveling the world and living life. He wasn't the most involved parent...but one of his boys turned out to be a decorated shinobi, and raised Mako in almost the same exact way. So he couldn't have done TOO bad of a job...right?

Gō spends most of his time nowadays in a small house that he built by hand. It's right next to a small oasis in a secluded spot in Wind Country, so that he doesn't get disturbed by noisy kids. When he's not eating he's training his body. He'll travel into Sunagakure from time-to-time for supplies...and to knock a few heads together when delinquents are asking for it. He's started to garner a bit of a reputation with the locals that's equal parts fame and infamy. Some Sunans now know him as "Sofu" for lack of knowing his real name. Amusing as that is...others have taken his comically traumatic beatings to heart and now live in fear of "Majin", partly because of his insane strength and partly because of the kanji on the back of his coat. He never seems to stick around for too long though, and as quickly as he appears, he's gone back to his hut. The elderly man values his privacy...and some people have learned the hard way not to trample on that.
