Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was time to get down to business. According to the rumors that were spreading, the cousin of our hero had fallen to a mere child. As this loss could demoralize a person and his clan, it could also open up a new fire as well. But, that was not the reason that Kyuji had sent a messenger out to find one of the them and other one for the other. No, he merely wanted to talk to both men at separate times to discuss the fight and discuss potential business offers that he could have for both of them.

Honestly, he was slightly disappointed that Akkuma would let himself be played by a mere child, but this kid must've been godlike to beat a demon of Hell and so easily according to the rumors. In either case, he wanted to meet the winner and loser to make sure that he was hearing this right and the rumor wasn't false like he wanted to assume.

He was waiting patiently in the main entrance of the Toraono Clan wearing a simple attire: a white kimono with black designs on the outfit resembling a tiger with his clan's emblem on sleeves. He was wearing his clan's necklace that resembled a tiger claw with a yin-yang symbol behind the claw as he tried to be the divine judge for people going to Heaven, the Celestial Winds, or Hell. The rest of his clothing was hidden, if he was wearing anything else, and his feline-ears and claws were easily being displayed.

All that was left for the one that he summoned to appear. The other one would hopefully appear tomorrow as he requested.

The messenger from his cousin was unexpected, then again it had been quite some time since he had seen the shinobi. Truthfully he'd probably been as busy as Kuro except with less bodies, he'd spent much time organising the final pieces of his scheme. Once he had departed his game with the shadows would begin, he wondered how the game would play out while he was gone. But nonetheless it seemed his cousin required his attention for something, perhaps he thought Akkuma had forgotten their deal to exchange knowledge. Unfortunately he just never seemed to have the free time, even now he didn't but he would make an exception because the man was kin.

Entering the main entrance chamber the demons piercing gaze fell upon the man who was his cousin, it seemed Akkuma was not the only one who had been busy. Kyuji seemed to have gone through quite a change himself, it seemed he had truly embraced the Toraono life. That crimson orb and its diamond-like counterpart burned with a fire that had not been there the last time they met. "Cousin how good it is to see you...I apologise for not seeing you. I've been busy with preparations, in fact I plan on leaving tomorrow." the demon said, no doubt Kyuji would know he was talking about the Event.

Standing there in his Ancient Battle Armour standing at 7'4ft and weighing in at 184kg the Gods demonic brother was a behemoth. One of his arms was almost as thick as his cousins torso, maybe his bulky mass had been his downfall. That long midnight spiked hair hung down passed the middle of his back. Kyuji would be able to see a knew seal on the palm of his cousins hands. Those two horns protruded from his forehead, while that muscular demonic tail swung behind him. "How are things?" he would ask the man, it seemed they had both changed since their last meeting.

It would not take long for his demonic cousin to arrive at the main chamber of the Toraono Dojo seemingly in a new form from their previous encounters as he was now towering over Kyuji even more and seemed to be resembling more like the Devil himself as horns were protruded from his forehead, The demon's arms had also gotten enormous since their last encounter and it appeared that if he was to get caught between those arms, he would be crushed to death. Good to note and also good to note that there was another seal on his cousin's hands and a tail developed behind him. Some of these transformations had seemed familiar to the descendant of Byakko, but it had been so long ago that he might be acting a little delusion at the moment.

It didn't really matter right now as appearances were not why Kyuji had summoned his cousin. No, he had business that he wanted to address that was long overdue. It was related to the rumors that he heard regarding his cousin, but he also wanted to exchange their information that they had agreed to exchange before. He had even heard his cousin asking how things were and apologizing for not seeing him in so long due to getting his preparations in order in what one would assume to be the attack on the Daimyo. In all honesty, he didn't mind not seeing Akkuma in so long since the two were complete opposites of one another, but it was still good to meet up with family ever once in awhile which is why he was seeking out his brother after this little discussion to handle another situation that was inside the family. But first things first, Akkuma was here and he needed to get what he needed before the demon had to leave again.

It was time to talk and indeed that is what he did calmly but also sincerely: "Hello Akkuma. I would love to continue this conversation, but let's move to a more secure area. Follow me to the Byakko Clan portion please." He would then motion to his cousin to follow and if Akkuma allowed this, they would walk past numerous rooms inside of the prestigious, luxurious household and almost to the training grounds that sat near the back of the Byakko Clan's home. But, the Byakko would take a quick right and go into the room holding the door behind him for his cousin before continuing into the room. They would go through a few doors which Kyuji would lock behind them and finally arrive in a room which was lit by candlelight as there were no windows in the room. The room was smaller than most areas of the household, but he needed a place to take people to discuss important matters like he was about to do with Akkuma.

As he took his seat, he would motion to Akkuma to sit down as well. He would then begin: "I accept your apology from earlier for not visiting me in so long and I understand your willingness to continue to fight the Daimyo, but as I told Brother Kuro before...I am out because of my family. They are more important to me than trying to kill a man who has an army that heavily outnumbers our entire village. I will however offer my support in the way of a place for your army to stay if need be and money if you need it as long as my beautiful wife approves of it. As for how things have been, they have been quite well. I have a meeting scheduled with the Kazekage to discuss a promotion to Medical Sennin of the village and also the headmaster of the Academy...I actually feel like I am making a difference in my life for others and my parents would be so proud of me if they could see it..."

He would then trail off momentarily to think about his parents, but quickly snap back into focus after his golden eyes went back up to Akkuma's own demon eyes as he nervously laughed. "You know, you scared me before when we first met and now your appearance scares me even more than before. Then again, I probably look like someone who preaches but gods and holiness when I really don't haha....but that's not why I summoned you. I merely want to exchange the information that we agreed upon last time we talked and also am asking you if you could teach me your secret technique that you used to talk to me telepathically. But before any of that, I must know...did you honestly fight a kid and lose to him because there are rumors going around that you did."

It was time to get down to business and work together even if a god and a devil looked so odd together.

Demon smiled when Kyuji suggested they move to somewhere more secure 'I wonder what my dearest cousin has planned...' he thought to himself following Kyuji through the dojo towards the Byakko portion of the dojo. Each door they passed through his cousin locked and he couldn't help but wonder what had caused the man to become so suspicious. What could be so important he felt they needed to be this secure? After all if it was just a private conversation he wanted they could have done that mentally. Without drawing any attention by going somewhere private, but he doubted anyone would be foolish enough to follow them.

His cousin took a seat motioning for Akkuma to do so as well. Taking a seat the chair strained underneath the weight of the massive demon. Placing a hand upon the table he tapped with impatience, with each tap those devilish claws digging a little deeper into the wood. Kyuji accepted his apology quickly following that he was out of this due to his family. A raised eyebrow was the only response to that comment from the demon. He would let his cousin fish speaking before he voiced his opinion on that. Offering housing and funding for the demons forces, not that he needed either. But the offer showed him that his cousin felt apologetic for no longer wanting to engage the enemy. Proceeding to state that he had arranged a meeting with the Kazekage, informing him he was to become the Medical Sennin & the Headmaster of the Academy.

That massive muscular demonic tail flicked behind Akkuma, much like a cats would. Well except for the deadly spear-like tip of his tail and its scaled appearance. Then going on to say that his parents would be proud of him. No doubt they would but the statement required nothing from him so he remained silent. That intense piercing gaze continued to hold Kyuji in his sights as the man trailed off. No doubt reminiscing about his parents, the God's golden gaze met Akkuma's and his cousin gave a nervous laugh.

Kyuji's next words made the demon chuckle, a sound that was cold and dangerous. It was true he had become much more monstrous on appearance. But Kyuji had also changed, commenting on his own appearance. Akkuma agreed with the words of his cousin he did seem like a religious man, someone of a pious position. Now that they his cousin had gotten the small talk out of the way he said stated why he had summoned the Demon. Further saying that he wanted to add to the information granted to him by Akkuma, which had not been apart of their agreement. However in the same breath he asked if the rumours about him being beaten by Shiro had been true. Once more he raised an eyebrow this time wondering how his cousin had found the news out. Yes they had battled in the open, but it had been dark and there was no one else present. Who knew where his cousins source had come from, with a sigh he wondered what he would say first.

"If you think not opposing the Daimyo will keep your family safe you are wrong. No matter what he wishes to see this village destroyed and all those within it. As for your offer of resources...I do not need them. My people have become accustomed to our nomadic lifestyle, our encampment and movable fortress has all we require." he would say calmly as his piercing gaze held the God-like being before in his sight. With a sigh he would lean back "Congratulations on the promotion, I wonder when you meet with Sousuke...could you apologise for my behaviour. I met the man the other day, I don't know what happened...but I wasn't myself. I'm afraid I represented myself and my people quite poorly. However I stand by what I said...even if it could have been done with more tact." the demon would say casually, he wondered if Kyuji would question him about what had happened.

"Per our agreement I am happy to exchange my knowledge of the Anbu with your medical knowledge. Though as for my technique...this was not in our agreement. Also it may prove impossible for you to utilise my technique, as you do not possess the same demonic abilities as myself. Though it may be possible...though it would require quite a bit of work from myself and a willingness to alter yourself even further. What can you offer me in return?" he would casually ask his cousin after all he should know the demon was a stickler for deals. Kyuji had just added on to theirs, the demon wanted to know what he would pay for such a gift. Then again having the medical Sennin owe him one could be the gift itself, after all with what the demon had in mind. It would be better to keep his activities as off the record as possible, for he doubted some of those within this villages walls.

"Now you haven't been spying on me have you cousin?" he asked Kyuji, for his meeting with Shiro had been private. Not another soul was present or the demon would have felt it. For it was impossible for one to sneak up on the demon, he had the equivalent of a spiritual sonar. There was a dangerous edge to his voice as he asked the question, for he had been doing a vast amount of planning. If any of it had been compromised he would have to eliminate those involved, but only after he had eliminated those who had compromised it.

"Yes. It seems I had become content in my time here, rusty with my capabilities. That has been remedied." the last words had a finality to them, that fire burning in his eyes. Tapping his claws upon the table the demon would wait for his cousins responses, he hoped that they would not displease him. Akkuma wondered if his cousin knew why the two had fought, wondering if he would be asked that. If Kyuji knew of their alliance the demon might just have to wipe his mind, for he couldn't allow that knowledge to be kept by anyone other then himself & Shiro. That youth was the ace up his sleeve, with Shiro under his employ he knew they would succeed.

OOC: I'm okay with you vaguely hearing about the fight icly, can say someone seen them as it ended, Akkuma hobbling limping back to the dojo etc. But not knowing why it started/happened, as that was between Shiro and Akkuma. (Unless you were icly told by Shiro) ^_^

So far, so good it appeared as neither member of the family was tearing the other apart yet and they were getting along fairly well. The descendant of Byakko did not particularly appreciate his demon cousin damaging his table with his long-ass nails, but he wasn't going to do anything about it since this was neither the time nor place to be having a spar with one another. They had come into this secured room to talk to one another about business and that was exactly what they were going to do even if it ended with both men putting their hands or weapons on the other's throat to get what they wanted. Of course, the descendant of Byakko most certainly did not want to have to harm his cousin and an ally to him, but if he needed to put him in line, he would do what he had to do. What was particularly awkward for the demigod however was the way that his cousin was acting; his facial expressions and body language changed quickly as Kyuji had spoken to him fro mere moments of happiness to quickly angry and slight disgust. It was not going to be an easy meeting it appeared as Akkuma was already getting himself overly excited.

But as the last words escaped the sweet lips of Kyuji, his cousin would begin to respond to him. It was merely responses to his statements and request, but yet the devil himself was being completely casual about everything. Well, he was being casual about everything, until he questioned him asking if he had been spying on the fight that he had and explaining that he had been rusty during the fight. A slight chuckle emitted from Kyuji at that statement as it did not matter if he was rusty or not, he got his butt handed to him from a mere kid and the kid must have had godlike power and speed if he managed to stop the devil himself. He would definitely need to be sought out when Kyuji had an opportunity to talk to him and engage him in a fight to determine if he beat Akkuma by mere fluke or if he was something special.

But before any of this, he should definitely respond to his cousin because that was the right thing to do right? Right! He would actually begin with the questioning from his cousin considering the rest of it could be easily discussed whenever, but this fight needed to be discussed now. "Of course I haven't been spying on you considering I work at the infirmary, the hospital, the academy and have been walking around Soon's Haven to ensure that the intervillage examinations have been going well and nobody is causing trouble. But as for fighting a mere child and losing, that is unacceptable...you have brought shame to this family. You better make time to spar with me because I am going to fight you and you are going to show me what you can do. When you are ready, we will fight...go prepare yourself after this fight and meet me back in the entryway in a few weeks. Don't disappoint me, Devil." He would then slam his fists on the table as he said something under his breathe probably cursing about Akkuma or something along the lines.

When he was done with his little pissy fit, he would continue more calmly: "Did I say not opposing him would keep my family safe? No. I said I am out because I have a family, Akkuma. Something that you have yet to do with your fiancée and when you do, you will understand why I feel the way I am. As for not accepting my support, that is all fine and dandy, but don't come bitching to me when you need help because you are losing the war against the Daimyo. Besides, have you even considered talking to the Sennin or the Kazekage about getting their support against him since you cannot take on the Daimyo's army yourself? You might think that you are invincible but losing to a kid surely shows that you are not and you are going to get yourself killed if you don't think more strategically. Don't be naive, Dumbass."

Again another moment to calm himself down and get a breathe before continuing: "I can talk to the Kazekage for you, yes. But, what exactly did you do? Also, it is good to hear that our exchange of knowledge is still going on and we should get on that soon considering time is wasting away and the Daimyo is getting stronger every minute, right? As for teaching me your technique, I am not altering myself or giving into your dark, demonic nature. You can teach me how to make my own version of your technique and in exchange, I will offer you secret knowledge of the medical branch like techniques that nobody should know aside from a medic and secret texts as well. What do you say, Devil? That is my offer, take it or leave it."

He would lean back in his chair with his eyes still fixated on Akkuma as he was an odd creature that could not be trusted. It appeared that the calmer natured individual had a little bit of an angry sidekick in the room. But, Kyuji had the right to be pissed off if he wanted to be since his cousin acted like a moron and was going to get himself killed if he didn't calm himself down with his ludicrous ideals of throwing over the Daimyo. Also, there was still a slight hint of distrust towards him considering what he did to Riyota and Surutameni. Hopefully, those two kids would be okay...

If Kyuji was trying to push the demons buttons he was going the right way about it, with the God-like beings words he would hear a crack. The sound of the floor beneath them breaking under the demons chakra pressure as he stood. "Yet I have been to none of those places...so again I ask you how you know? Have you now? How is that going? I'm going to be participating in the Event and I can assure you that it will not be going smoothly." when Kyuji said he had brought shame to the family the demon laughed a blood chilling sound. "I have brought shame to this family? Says the coward who refuses to fight the one who threatens to destroy everything your family is. I have brought no shame upon this clan nor my own, it is you who brings shame upon yourself with your words. You should know better then to invite me here and insult me, if you think I will just idly stand by and listen to this you are mistaken." he would snarl at the man, while standing the massive being was an intimidating creature to behold. Being so close to the cusp of war and already unleashing his bloodlust he wondered why his cousin would be so foolish as to push him like this.

When Kyuji slammed his fists upon the table and mumbled what Akkuma could only assume was a curse about the monstrous being he chuckled once more. His cousins next words only further provoked the Devil "I may not have a biological son, but I have adopted Riyota he is my son. Secondly I don't know about you but I have hundreds of lives depending on me...its not meant to be easy putting your life on the line to protect those you love. I will not lose this war with the Daimyo and I assure you if I do I won't be bitching as you say." he would snarl at the man pulling back the sleeve of his robe to reveal the binding seal he had placed upon himself. Continuing as he did so "I won't be around if I fail." he would say with a matter of fact tone, before addressing his cousins next words. That crimson eye and its diamond-like counterpart burning with ferocity.

"I don't want your aid, because I don't want to place you in harms way. No matter how much you are frustrating me and provoking me. Intentional or not. Are you serious? I've met with Sousuke, Kuro, Mikaboshi even the Head of the Senju clan. I've also been communicating with both Kumogakure and a representative from the Tsuchikage. A personal friend of mine, hell if you had actually spent anytime with me. If you think I'd lose to a normal child you're a fool, Shiromaru is far from normal. I know I'm not invincible why do you think I've gathered allies spanning the villages, bound mercenaries into unbreakable contracts with me? I know this is no simple task but that does not mean I can just sit idly by and watch others put their lives on the line." he would roar at his cousin that deadly muscular tail and its spear-like tip thrashed behind the demon in his rage. When it struck the ground the crack of the ground could be heard, a vein visibly pulsating on the demons temple.

"I told him what he needed to hear." was all he would say to his cousin on the matter before taking a step towards the man. "What makes you think I want medical knowledge I have no use for that, if I required more medical knowledge I'd bind another undead medic to my service." he would snarl at his cousin, in truth he might have accepted the knowledge but his rage flowed freely. The Devil's aura permeated from him a palpable force that could be physically felt. "I agreed to pass onto my Anbu knowledge because it seemed you needed it. I do not require anymore then what was agreed. So again I say to you cousin what do you offer me? If you want my aid in creating such a technique you'll have to do better to make it worth my time. Secret texts and medical knowledge reserved 'only' for Medics is easily obtained. Such technique's as the one you ask for are not. As it stands I'll leave your offer, so shall you amend it or will we be sticking to our initial agreement? I know you'll soon be a Sennin, arrange for me to be inducted in one of the Orders." taking another step towards his cousin the demon quickly reached out placing a massive hand around Kyuji's head. Channelling his knowledge into his cousin, the knowledge would flood into his cousins mind. Imbedding itself into his consciousness, no doubt it would be an incredibly surreal experience for one who had never been through the process before.

This demon was something else. It appeared no matter how serious or compassionate the descendant of Byakko got, he wasn't going to faze his cousin at all as the demon had rose from his seated position and was causing the very ground beneath his feet to break. At the very least, it appeared that both men had finally grown a pair and were standing up for themselves and for what they believed in. If this would've occurred months earlier, Kyuji probably would've allowed the demon to walk right over him as he was still a nobody in the village and he was still trying to establish his position as a Sand shinobi. The only issue with both sides being so passionate about their beliefs was it could always boil over into a street fight and it would have them both sitting in the jail until they cooled their heads. Hell, the way that this whole thing was going thus far, it wouldn't surprise anyone if they went their separate paths after they exchanged their trade secrets since one was a man of Byakko and the other was a ruler of the underworld. It had to be so awkward for the entire Toraono Clan to have demons and saints mixed between them, but it also made the family reunions so much more interesting. But let's get back to our story.

As mentioned earlier, both men were becoming very passionate from their sides as Akkuma was making the ground break beneath his figure and Kyuji was slamming his fists down. A lot had been slung at each other from insults to simple stabs at not needing one another for stuff. If there was a third party in the room, they would've felt the tension boiling up as each side was being strongly opinionated towards the other. But fortunately, Akkuma at least agreed to share his knowledge as he placed his massive hand around Kyuji's skull and was transferring the ANBU knowledge he had to him, but from an outsider's prospective it probably looked like he was either trying to break the man's skull or was trying to possess him like a demon that he was as Kyuji's eyes had rolled to the back of his head during the transfer of knowledge. It appeared however that the transfer was quick as his cousin's grasp would ease up as he fell back into his seat across the table. It would take quite a few moments for Kyuji to regain his composure before he pulled out a scroll containing the medical knowledge that they both agreed upon. The mere scroll would be rolled open and the descendant of Byakko would bite his finger to place his blood on the scroll, he would then turn to Akkuma and say still coldly: "I need you to place your blood on the scroll as it is an exchange. Once you do so, I will channel chakra into the scroll and you need to keep your hand placed on the scroll to receive the knowledge." He would then wait for his cousin's reaction and if he signed, he would begin to channel his chakra into the scroll via placing his hand where he signed the agreement. The demon would have to do the same and it would be only a mere few moments before his medical techniques would be transferred to Akkuma and both men would have their agreement completed.

Regardless of the agreement being signed, he would lean back into his chair after a reasonable amount of time and begin to address his cousin again still with so much coldness in his voice: "I can get you into an Order and I will even state that I can the paperwork to emit you into the village as a Sand shinobi. Obviously, you wouldn't want to be working under me since we are exchanging our trade secrets and there would probably be a lot of butting heads, but I can assure you that you will be welcomed with a warm hand. I am sure Brother Kuro would be pleased to hear you joining our village and I would see no reason to not join since you are always hanging around the village like it is your second home after Mist froze over. That is my offer for you teaching me your clan's technique or at least helping me create my own version of it."

He would then close his eyes to calm himself down and to try to move this hostile environment to a more peaceful one. As it stood, neither man was going to make it out of this room if they continued to act like they were. It wasn't going to be because they got into a fight, but merely the fact that Kyuji wouldn't allow the demon out of this room unless he was under control. An out-of-control demon would just cause even more turmoil for the two especially if the village discovered that he was the one who pissed off his cousin before he went on a rampage. His eyes would reopen after a brief pause as the coldness left his voice, but he didn't seem too much happier or angrier than he was before. He would then continue: "I understand your methods of conducting business are not conventional, but you shouldn't be trying to turn your own family against you. I know you don't think I am important because I am not helping with the Daimyo issue, but I do have the academy and the medical branch to run. I cannot leave either of them unintended as the students need an amazing sensei to teach them or they are going to be half-wits and get themselves killed while the medical shinobi need me there so they can ask questions and I can teach the ones in training how to be the best shinobi they can be. Just remember that I am a medical shinobi and my duty first and foremost is to help the village and anyone in the country medically. I will support your plan against the Daimyo which is why I was willing to help you financially as you are my cousin demon or not. Don't throw away a valuable asset and family member, you would never do that to Brother Kuro. As for your insults towards me, I will let the rest of them go and I am sure this boy you fought wasn't some little shit, I am sure he was a good fighter. I would like to meet him sometime and fight him myself to know if he truly is worthy of anything special...you didn't offer him a job did you? Like you aren't employing a mere child are you? I mean it isn't really my business if you do, but I am sure that kid has a family and siblings that miss him. Unless he was from Mist as well and they all perished..."

Then, the most hardest thing that Kyuji had to do for awhile had occurred. He actually stood up across the table from his towering cousin and extended his hand. He would look up at him with that diamond-like eye and the other crimson eye staring into his soul and gulp as the man was still quite freaky looking considering he was a demon after all! But, he would sigh heavily as his tone turned to a more solemn one as he continued: "Look, Akkuma....we might be on the complete opposite sides of the religious spectrum as you are a demon and I am a more godly man....but I don't care. We are still cousins and related to Brother Kuro and we shouldn't be at each other's throats like we have been thus far today. I admit I got a little angry about hearing you losing to a child, but that is only because I don't want your name nor the clan's name to be thrown in the mud like we are pathetic or weak. We need to stay strong and work together as equals. You can lead the forces in the battlefield, but I am staying behind to attend to the wounded. It would be better to keep someone as highly skilled in the medical arts behind the fighting so I can get your army and allies patched up quickly than trying to fight beside you and having to protect myself and trying to heal people at the same point. And this medical branch needs me, Akkuma, they are so disorganized and we are just now getting everything in working order since someone finally stepped up to the plate and took it over. So what do you say, Cousin? Shake my hand and actually start working together and stop the hate and irritation towards one another? Or don't shake my hand and continue to fight one another till the end of days?"

[ANBU Techniques up to Non-ANBU Rank Accepted. Medic Scroll containing the Medical Techniques up to the Non-Medic Level given to Akkuma if he accepts it.
As I said in PM, please use lower colors when you are talking or thinking. It is hard to read with the darker theme like I use since the white one gives me a headache.]

How unfortunate. Azusa herself came her to grace Kyuji with her presence like the model example of an apprentice that she was, ever eager to learn even on her days off. (What really happened is the Aikayume shrine was undergoing a routine super-thorough cleaning, and Azusa was thrown out of her own shrine by her own attendents on the reason that "she'd just get in the way". Which was true, but left a fair share of bitterness in Azusa's mind) So...she figured she'd pay the Byakko family a visit.

Anyways; she discovered that Kyuji was busy in a meeting, Yanji was out, and both Lady Yanshi and little Kyuushi were also out because reasons. She was instructed to wait until Kyuji was finished with his guest, but...

Azusa did not like waiting.

After 5 minutes, she began to wander the Byakko estate with a half-hearted "Excuuuuuse meeeeee......." each time she checked the status of a doors as she passed them...Nothing particularly noteworthy caught her eyes. What she was really looking for was something containing secret techniques of the Byakko clan, a picture of baby Kyuji, or the room where Lady Yanshi kept her whips and handcuffs she used on sensei; ordered from least-to-most interesting in Azusa's mind.
She found none of the above, which of course caused her to slightly pout. She did, however, recognize this hallway vaguely; she recalled having rushed through it with Kyuji when Lady Yanshi was giving birth. In which case; "...Where I took my exam should be down here." Kyuji seemed to be quite destructive during the exam, so she was curious how much remodelling they did considering half the area was devastated anyways.

....But that would be something to investigate another time. The Kitsune Priestess's senses were violated by the pervasive influence of darkness commonly associated with all things demonic. (....A demon? Or at least something thats just as disgustingly foul...) It's presence reflexively caused her eyes to focus and tail stiffen; this was a particularly powerful aura, not some weak charm of malice or easily broken curse. Whatever the cause, something was causing that...thing...to get riled up. And in Kyuji's own home no less! Had this been the Toraono household, she would have given it more leeway; but the Byakko were more on the spiritual side as opposed to demonic. It was definitely something she found strange.

Azusa's hand reached out to the door the aura was seeping through; Jingle jingle. The door was locked...And Azusa lacked the finesse to otherwise open it. So she was torn between two choices;
  • This was Lady Yanshi's and Kyuji-sensei's home, and she really wasn't out to vandalize it.
  • But she felt turning a blind eye towards such a strong presence would go against one of her core duties as a priestess.
So like the good shrine maiden she was, she convinced herself that not only was breaking and entering not the lesser of two evils, but in this case it was actually the good thing to do. Really, Kyuji-sensei and Lady Yanshi should be thanking her for investigating this. Her blessing could be enough to make the home safe for little Yanji and Kyuushi, afterall.

With no remorse, Azusa cupped her palms and produced a blue flame of her foxfire; focusing it on the door knob. Unlike normal flames, there was no risk of the fire spreading to the walls or anything (it sorta just...melted and outright destroyed things things she wanted gone); her foxfire was very tidy! Just...it was sorta difficult for her to actually direct.
Case in point; Azusa had 2/3 of a bag's worth of ash. If a Byakko door is worth 2 bags of ash, how much of Lady Yanshi's door did Azusa disintegrate? (Scorched Land)

Again, she was doing the Byakko a favor...But she still prayed that Yanshi wouldn't be the first to find out...

Azusa took a deep breath to focus herself for whatever awaited beyond the door (what remained, at least)...And pushed it open to discover...Nothing. Emptiness. Sorry, your demon is in another room'. It was...anticlimatic, considering how much she hyped herself up to confront whatever haunted Kyuuji's home, but hope wasn't lost; there was another door which appeared to be where the maliscous aura was leaking from...And it seemed to be stronger than she initially expected. Foxfire time.

...And this process repeated itself several times, to the point where Azusa was confronted with what was most definitely the final door. By this time, she had several bags of ash (not really, she left the remains of doors where they once stood), and found herself, out of breath, pulse racing, trembling, and wiping sweat from her face. (...This is crazy. I can't tell if it's this presence or just using too much Foxfire...) Regardless, it took considerable effort to get just this far more ways than one. She could understand that the room(s) were locked for a good reason...But she had come too far to turn tail and run away.

She did concede to catching her breath before burning this door down too; she wanted to have as much stamina as she could muster for whatever lurked beyond. During her brief rest, she heard voices; one unfamiliar to her and one very familiar. Voices that seemed to be in deep...debate? (That can't be...Kyuji? I never sensed anything demonic from sensei...What the hell is going on in there?!?) In which case...his guest...could that have been the source of this aura? Despite trying to regain her composure, the opposite happened and Azusa's pulse hastened even further. Questions flooded her mind;
Why were they speaking? Kyuuji was strong, one of the strongest shinobi she knew. He should be able to handle himself...
....But demons were cunning, crafty. Even if Kyuji had the power to defend himself, she doubted he had the guile to outwit a demon that began to speak with him.
(Stop it...Please, just ignore it sensei! Just leave!) Azusa pleaded mentally; if Kyuji was aware of the potential danger in his home, she had no reason to be there. But...they were speaking still. Not fighting. In which case...

Kyuji was in trouble.

When Azusa heard someone stand up within the room she held on to the sliver of hope that Kyuji would leave or a fight would break out...but she heard the opposite, that Kyuji was offering to shake hands with his apparent demonic cousin! Azusa's intense discrimination towards all things demonic refused to acknowledge any familiar ties when it came to demons. Her mind was made up.

"SENSEI, STOP!!" Her voice shouted as sapphire flames exploded from her palms and disintegrated the final gate between she and them (worth two full bags of ash this time!) She rushed in, lunging between the two to knock Kyuji's arm out of the way, and also grab the scroll that was on the table between them in one motion.

"How completely, absolutely idiotic can you be sensei?!? Even the most pathetically ignorant people know to never make any sort of pact with a demon even half as unsightly! And...is that your BLOOD I smell on that scroll?! If I were not here...You might have made a terrible mistake. I don't care if its your cousin or brother or whatever, but all demons are abominable beings that can only feed on pain and deceit. Whoever it is, you cannot trust a word that spews from it's lips!" Azusa's anger was enough to overcome her primal defensive instinct of staying well away from the towering being casually sitting across from him as if long time friends. Not only that, but the priestess even turned to the demon itself; "You. Demon. I do not know any agreement or terms you and him came to; but consider it void. You will not be claiming anything from Kyuji-sensei today. A man in his position has no need of any shady dealings with devils."....the fox said.

Azusa was well aware of this thing's power from even 4 locked doors away, and consequently, how bad the position she was stepping into was...but had hoped that whatever interruption she was able to provide would be enough to snap her sensei out of the foolish madness that caused him to walk into their dealings.

Akkuma finished transferring his knowledge to hiss cousin Kyuji's eyes rolled back at the sudden knowledge imprinted upon him. The demon sliced his thumb with his nail and signed the scroll, only after checking to ensure there was nothing malicious hidden within it. After he had signed the contract he passed his chakra through it with his cousin. He felt the knowledge pass into his mind, but being so accustomed to this he barely flinched. Although the energy and knowledge was being transferred from Kyuji to the Demon.

It was at this point he felt another presence enter within his aura, although this was all he could tell. Though one wouldn't have known he had just sensed a new arrival, because nothing about his behaviour showed such. Listening to his cousins concerns the Demon sighed they should have come to him sooner. There were medics and trained mercenaries who could help ease the strain of the villages burdens.

"Trust me its safer if you aren't publically seen as close to me. It could prove to be dangerous for you. I shall enlist in the Main Branch once I've finished dealt with Daimyo. At least then my actions can still be claimed as my own and Kyuji...I don't want to push any of you away. But its not safe being around me at the moment...between the return of my energies and the vast changes I've undergone my control isn't what it once was. By that I mean my instincts, its incredible I've never felt this way before. After this war there will be time to be a family...if the things I've done and will do can be forgiven." he would say with a solemn smile, obviously ignoring his cousins questions about Shiro. After all he already knew the God-like being would disagree and Akkuma had already said he wouldn't discuss his dealings with the man.

It seemed his cousin wanted a truce hopefully with Akkuma's newly spoken words he would understand that wasn't necessary. The next events that transpired brought a mixture of emotion to the Demons mind. It seemed the newcomer had arrived and decided they had no need for the door. Disintegrating it with blue fire, a small priestess dashed in and smack Kyuji's arm away. While she grabbed their scroll and screamed for Kyuji stop. Already the demon could sense the holy energy from the young priestess. Her words caused the towering being to snarl at the tiny little figure, a roar that had caused seasoned warriors to tremble with fear. Those shark-like teeth were revealed as he roared this newcomer. This little priestess was about to learn you should show respect to a Demon even in the presence of a God.

In less time then it took to blink the demon appeared behind the priestess and demonic energy crackled around his hand. Akkuma was capable of scribing his seals in many ways some, more painful then others. True this curse seal would no doubt cause severe pain to the young priestess. But once she mastered it, she would find it of great use in hunting demons. With incredible speed he placed a single claw upon her flesh, the demonic enzymes & dark energies would flood her system. Binding to the young girls chakra system and genetics. It would take a skilled sealer to remove it and their were few with that skill. Most of those the demon encountered were in his service or allies so he knew she would have to seek him out eventually. Raising a finger to silence and halt Kyuji as no doubt he would be on the verge of attacking Akkuma.

"I sensed you the moment you stepped into my Aura. How peculiar you would seek out one of my kind and insult me. You know so little of demons it seems and even less of me." he would say his words echoing around the chamber carried on the waves of chakra that pulsated from him. Grown shinobi had screamed in agony from his seals, he wondered how strong this young priestess would prove to be. That crimson orb and its diamond-like counterpart held the young priestess in his cold gaze. Demonic chakra pulsated from the towering Demon, as he stared down at her. He had warned Kyuji, that his instincts were out of control. "May this pain teach you humility when dealing with demons and may its power be a reminder of my Mercy." he would say to her his voice returning to normal and his chakra once more receding into his body. His hands trembled the Demon wanted to remove all this holy energy around him.

Kyuji and this newcomer, how he wanted to smell their blood upon the air. Taste their souls and silence the urges his Instincts demanded he fulfil. Shaking his head the look upon the Demon was that of shock as he truly looked upon the scene before him. 'No wonder they think I'm a monster...' he thought to himself before the focus of Law faded into the Chaos. "No its necessary I be like this...its the only thing that has gotten me and my people this far." he would say out loud to himself fighting away his doubts. He'd committed himself to this path long ago, whether she knew it or not the priestess would one day thank him for that Dark Gift.

"I should go..."" he would say to Kyuji before walking towards the door way, he paused wanting to look back but knew his Cousin would be far to angry with him. Reaching into his pocket he unfurled a scroll placing a chakra imbued hand upon it. The formula and method of how to harness ones spiritual essence and establish a connection between beings. Using the energy of ones soul they could communicate silently between each other. Though it explained how the energy of ones soul was to unstable to maintain or even initiate such a link in the Heat of battle. Tossing the scroll to his cousin "For the Orders give me something I'll like...perhaps hunting things will help sate my bloodlust." he would say no doubt over his cousins rage fuelled words and threats. Hoping the God-like being would calm down by the time he returned from the event.

The descendant of the mighty Byakko smiled at his cousin as the demon signed his name in the scroll sealing their agreement and they would begin the process. It was a brisk process as it took little to no time at all for both men to have their chakra combine before Kyuji's medical chakra would flow into Akkuma's body absorbing the knowledge he and the scroll contained. It was a good thing that both men were somewhat on the same page as the initial conditions of their agreement had been met, but it would not appear to be the best time for the rest of it to be discussed as his cousin wished to speak. He would inform his cousin that if he survived the war that he was about to start, he would be joining the main branch of the village working under Kyuji's brother and that it was not exactly the ideal time to be around him as he had some changes to him and he was moreorless unstable in his current state.

If there would've been a moment for him to respond, he would have done it right here and now, but something extraordinary occurred. The door behind his brother would disintegrated as someone shouted stop as they busted through and grabbed the scroll between the two of them. This figure would also knock his hand out of the way from being able to shake his cousin's and once the initial shock resided, he recognized who it was. This intruder was none other than Azusa, the foxfire priestess and his apprentice in the medical branch! She had been swift getting between them and she must've used a lot of chakra to get into this room as there were quite a few doors between the two men and the corridor; she also showed signs of fatigue from probably overusing her body.

However even with breaking into a private meeting and using a lot of her energy, the men were going to hear exactly what the fox says. It was definitely a lot of chewing out his ass as she was yelling at him for making a pact with his cousin and telling him sternly that she didn't care if they were related because all demons are abominable beings. At this point, she would change her focus to his cousin and a clearly evident facepalm appeared on his face as she was being rude and trying vouch for her sensei who was able to make his own decisions since he was in his thirties; she even told him to consider their agreement and terms as voided, but she had been too late as the scroll was merely to transfer medical knowledge between one person to another. With the scroll having both men's blood in it, the agreement had already been completed and burning it would not void the exchange. She had been too late to stop the exchange sadly, but she could always assume that she stopped them if Kyuji decided not to tell her that it was useless.

But before he could say anything, Akkuma had appeared behind his apprentice with his shark-like grin on full display as he placed a single claw on her skin and he saw signs on his apprentice's face that something bad had happened to her, but he wasn't sure of what. He would have dashed in to stop it, but his cousin had put a finger up and he knew that if he tried to stop him in this stage, there was going to be blood spilled in this tiny room and someone was going to get hurt. He couldn't risk doing that with a teenager and friend of his in such close proximity. Instead, he had to stand there as his cousin would comment back to his apprentice before having what appeared to be an internal conflict with himself as his facial expressions displayed a look of shock momentarily before he snapped apparently back into his current situation.

The last bit Kyuji hadn't been paying much attention to after he said that he should go as the foxfire priestess looked she was in pain and not knowing what Akkuma did, Kyuji quickly got over to her and scooped her up to make sure she didn't collapse to the cold, hard floor. He would see the scroll being tossed to him, but he wouldn't attempt to pick it up nor stop it if it rolled to the floor. It would actually land right on the table and just sit there. He would then watch as his cousin started to walk away as he placed his apprentice in a chair to try to keep her upright. He would then throw a kunai or two at his cousin though they would miss, but it was to get his attention. This was when everyone including himself would be probably shocked by how he acted, his eyes would be glaring at his cousin's back as they glowed their golden hue as he began to yell at him: "You keep walking you, you fucking Devil. I was fine with you being rude and out of control with me, but touching my apprentice is uncalled for and you better prepare your sorry ass for our fight or I will pummel you into the ground, Scumbag. You have two weeks from today to get ready for our fight. If you can't beat me, you can't beat the Daimyo and remove him from power. As of now, stay away from my family and stay away from my medical shinobi unless I tell them that they can see you or help you. You shouldn't piss off the head of the Medical Branch nor your cousin, Baka." His fists were up in front of him and his body was covered in an armor that would burn someone if they touched him. His body was shaking with angry and he would keep his eyes on his cousin as he would address Azusa if she was still conscious: "Are you okay, Azusa? We can talk about my cousin here at a later date. But for now if you can stand and defend yourself, be prepared to. I have no idea what he is going to do right now as he is unstable. If he turns around and comes towards us like he is going to attack, I want you to dodge and run out of this room and away from him. I can handle him if he tries to attack and I don't need my prized apprentice to get hurt because of my family or myself."

[OOC: Akkuma is stopped by verbally assaulting him if he chooses to do so. Azusa, you can stop him as well depending on how you want to react.]

The demon spoke with a frightening power that seemed to echo not only off the walls of the room, but from within the depths of the Kitsune's mind. The difference in power between the two was staggering; while the Light of the Priestess may have been an source agitating source discomfort to the demon, Akkuma's presence was a suffocating maelstrom of Darkness that vowed to engulf her with each heavy beat of her heart and every breath she took. This only increased when he vanished, and it was at this moment that she knew; she messed up.

His 'mercy' was the equivalent of a red-hot demonic brand being forced onto her sacred flesh. "HYAAAAA!!!" She quickly found herself clutching her hand to her chest with no way to alleviate her pain. But more than the pain, she could instantly feel her entire being recoil; something unforgivable had happened. "N-no....demon, what have you done?!?" She managed to yell out. As Priestess, it was her duty to protect and nourish her clan's spiritual blood within her. To spill it wastefully was a sin.

...And to corrupt it was unthinkable. If she had allowed him to so much as risk it, Azusa had failed her key mission. For more than just her life, Azusa was filled with fear for the damage this man had inflicted to her clan with a single touch. For the pain he placed onto her, her eyes shown only hatred.

Fear.

Pain.

Hatred.

These were the feelings in turmoil within Azusa that became the base for Akkuma's cursed gift, and it was fitting that the concentrated essence of this malice, the suitably named Hell Seal, manifested upon Azusa's hand at the point of Akkuma's blighted touch.
The seal fed upon these, amplified them within Azusa, and in turn fed upon their heightened state again. It was a cycle that, despite being a priestess that had some resistance to demons, caused her to be extremely receptive to the curse, having it spread through her rapidly, although no less violently.

"...Guh!" The demonic touch burned and writhed its way through her hand, her wrist, her arm, her shoulder, her chest, her neck and tail, her legs, her face, her soul, defiling the once sacred purity the Aikayume Priestess maintained. "A-ah!-" A scream fought desperate to escape her lungs, but Azusa countered by biting her bottom lip with enough force to bring a steady flow blood to its corners, desperate to feel something-anything other than the pain of the curse binding itself to her. (Demons feed on suffering, I won't scream. I...even though...it hurts so much...)

This demon didn't deserve that satisfaction; this one simple desire was the only source of relief preventing Azusa from being completely losing her willpower to the pain and anger. The only thing holding back the anger and hate bottling within her that had no outlet to escape through.

Kyuji's actions intended to help her would only serve to agitate her further; each and any touch felt as if they may have well come from the demon himself. "Do not touch me with your demon-conspiring hands! Do not touch me! DONOTTOUCHME!" Azusa shouted as she flailed her way to her feet even before fully being placed upon the chair, only to collapse when her legs, numb with pain, were unable to support her. That actually went for most of her body, actually; but she clawed and crawled across the ground towards The Demon like a feral beast regardless. The mere sight of him fogged her vision with rage. "....I swear on the sacred blood in my veins that...If you...If you don't kill me right here I WILL tear....every. Last. Damned. Tooth, from your cursed skull..." Through teeth clenched in pain, her frantic eyes dripping tears of anger, from her powerless state on the ground, this was her promise to him.

The pain, fear, and hatred that dominated her mind at this point were quickly approaching their breaking point, and her lack of power to do anything about it was infuriating; with here eyes wide with anguish and madness, she scanned the room for relief. "Kyuji! If you have any shred of decency left or care for me at all; then DO SOMETHING! Kill him! PLEASE!" Azusa shouted, completely oblivious to how unreasonable her request may have been.

How quickly her priorities went from 'Protect Kyuji' to 'Purge the Evil Demon'; she just needed alittle push from Akkuma.

With each step to the door the screams of the young Kitsune priestess brought him both satisfaction and regret. He would not turn back he could not, right now he was the monster they needed even if they couldn't see it. Akkuma saw his evils as necessary this was just another. This encounter would teach her to be weary of his kind and eventually give her the strength needed to fight them. Through her screams she asked what he had done to her, soon the seal would manifest and they would all know.

Kyuji must have attempted to help her because he heard the young priestess shriek for him to get away from her. In her current state so full of fear, hate and despair she was unpredictable. Not to mention the pure chaotic energies that the Demon emanated from his body, chaotic and malevolent energy pulsing from him. Two kunai flew passed him causing him to stop, Kyuji roared at the Demon his threats and promise of not receiving help.

Akkuma was not surprised to hear she was his apprentice, with the recent enlightenment of the being. It was quite fitting he had a Kitsune priestess as his apprentice. Turning back he saw the young priestess dragging herself towards him eyes burning with a maelstrom of dark emotions. She pledged if he didn't kill her here that she would tear every last one of his teeth out. Forcing Akkuma to chuckle, as she looked back at Kyuji pleading for him to help her kill the Demon. "Yes I am a Demon. No I won't be taking your life today that would be a waste. I'd rather see you grow and gain power. When you believe you are ready I will accept your challenge, however until that day..." his body twisted and warped as the massive monster-like Akkuma transformed. Growing another foot so he now towered at an incredible 8'4ft his flesh taking on a demonic chakra-like substance, two massive ash-like wings spread out behind him.

That already dangerous looking armoured tail that often swayed behind him now held a dark glow to its edge, the energy was that of pure corruption. "Until that day you will treat me with the respect a being of my rank is due. You should consider yourself lucky...few mortals let alone a Kitsune priestess have survived an encounter with a Lord of the Legions. Also I gave you a Cursed seal, specifically it seems you've developed a Hell seal. I hope the irony is not lost on you." he would say his chakra infused voice echoing around them. Demonic energy crackled around him as he spoke. That deadly gaze slid to Kyuji Holy energies emanated from the shinobi. He could feel them building within the being, this caused the Dark Sage to chuckle.

"Perhaps you should prepare yourself for our battle Kyuji. I just sealed your apprentice and you do nothing. My demonic energies are now bound to her very genetics...I'm apart of her, always will be. How traumatic this must be for her, yet you do nothing? Perhaps I shall have to teach you a few things, I guarantee you if someone harmed those who are precious to me...well you already know what I would do." he would say calmly, indeed the God-like being did know. For the Demon was currently in the midst of a war, the chaotic Demonic energies clashed with the Holy energies. Where they met the two energies were tangibly visible, it crackled dangerously. For someone who could see or feel what was going on it would be truly incredible. Both a wondrous and terrifying sight to behold.

With blinding speed he moved forward attempting to pick Azusa up. When he had her in his massive arms he would hug her against his monstrous form. He made soothing sounds as he held her no doubt struggling form against his marble-like skin. [/b]"It's okay...let all that pain, anger and fear out. I can take it I'm used to the suspicion and pain. One day you'll thank me for this..."[/b] he would say quietly to her, his voice held that devilish charm when he spoke. The demons touch would be firm yet gentle as he held her against him. No doubt both of them would be surprised by these actions. No matter what she did his grip would not waver until she calmed herself.

This situation that was unfolding in the prestigious Byakko's home was certainly not predictable nor was anyone making this easier for one another. The demon cousin of his had decided to harm his apprentice before his very eyes, his apprentice had decided to threaten his cousin, and his own cousin was pissing him off with his comments. The fact that his very apprentice had begun to crawl towards his cousin and threatened him with death was alarming considering the priestess typically was sarcastic and picking on him, but her entire attitude had changed and this was not the adorable little girl that he knew. The only issue with these threats was Akkuma had allowed her insults and threats to manifest him into a transformation that he had seen too often before. This whole matter was getting worse and it escalated quickly when his cousin picked her up and began to hug her with probably a tight grip that was to calm her down or to make her pass out.

At this point of touching her and holding her, the descendant of Byakko lost control of himself as the very ground beneath his feet cracked as his eyes began to glow and his skin darkened. His chakra aura was glowing and in full display as his muscles grew under the transformation that he himself had gone through by opening his inner gates. As for his demeanor, it was not good at all for his cousin as one hand was emitting a high-pitched screech similar to the chirping of a thousand birds while the other one was holding a vortex of chakra in it. His body was shaking in anger as his head rose after his transformation and the look on his face showed murderous intent as he began to slowly walk towards Akkuma.

With each step, he would begin talking to his cousin to try to calm him down and to release the girl from his grasp. But, there was threats behind his words as well, his anger and frustration were getting the better of him. The following is what he said towards his cousin which was cold and heartless to probably to his apprentice, Akkuma and certainly himself: "I am going to ask you this one time. PUT. MY. APPRENTICE. DOWN! If you don't, I will KILL you and if you use her as a shield, I will KILL her too! I am a medic shinobi, I can save and harm people...it doesn't matter if they are friend, foe, or neutral to me. But, if you choose to not let her go, I will promise you, you will be maimed by me just like your precious Riyota was when I had him for class. Unfortunately for you, I will not heal your wounds that I gave you if you don't put her down. So, put her down and let's talk about this, I will ensure that she will stay quiet, right Azusa?" If his apprentice could see the look on his eyes, it was the same cold look he gave her when she had acted up in the Hospital earlier this month. In other words, she would know that he was dead serious about his words.

As he continued to walk towards Akkuma, the strength of his two jutsu would intensify with each step. His anger would also continue to get worse while he was speaking the above words. If Akkuma decided to stand down, he would stop the jutsu and put his arms out and demand to be given the girl. If Akkuma decided to not stand down, he would take a deep breath as he slammed his two hands towards the two of them targeting hopefully Akkuma. If he had a chance to note the target and Akkuma decided to use Azusa as a meat shield, he would try to lower the strength of the jutsu to not completely annihilate her and murder her in cold blood like he had almost done to his former student, Riyota.

[OOC: I have no idea how this is going to turn out. Just roleplay it how you two want to, but since you two are getting murderous intentions going so is Kyuji. Good luck, have fun and sorry for the delay!]

He wouldn't even kill her and let her die struggling. In any other situation Azusa would be relieved, but in her current fit of mania she took it as an insult. The being before her transformed, yes, but in Azusa's eyes it did not matter in the slightest; filth was filth, regardless of it's shape and size. She couldn't feel her fingertips or nails when she clawed her way across the ground towards it, but she did not care how much or how little distance she covered; it was merely the effort that kept her going through the pain of demonic energy spreading through her once-pure body.

"...Don't look at me like that!" Azusa demanded in response to the demon demanding respect from her while in turn acting so high above her; it made her current weakness so much more unbearable. She would have grit her teeth in response to his chuckles had she not already been doing that since earlier. But then...

She was grabbed and lifted into the demons prison of arms. Forced into touch and contact with a such a strong demonic presence so foul it ate at her mind and would have her retreating away instantly, if only she was able to.

"G-gah!!...." Akkuma's touch caused the Kitsune to recoil again, as if touching burning metal accidentally. Unlike that case however, there was no escape. She was trapped in the massive demon's grasp, and no amount of struggling from her twitching muscles was going to allow her to free herself. (...Stop it...), she pleaded in her mind.

"...Uwaah....Hnn!..." The demonic curse burned her blood inside</B><i></i> her as it spread, while the constant touch against the devil pained her skin on the outside. (It burns!) She refused to give the demon the pleasure of her acknowledging the pain she was in. But the two-sided assault on her senses was quickly breaking down what little resistance she had left. She could at least take her mind off the pain when she was able to crawl towards him in vain...

...But being held harmlessly dug up her weakness and placed it on a pedestal for all to see. She couldn't deny or hide behind excuses. She was left only with her agonizing pain and shameful lack of power to do anything.

"Ahh!" This was too cruel. She didn't want to scream. Why wouldn't he just let her have that one victory?!?

With no form of escape, the pain eventually reached the Priestess's breaking point. She could no longer pretend to have any resistance. "ITHURTSITHURTS!!!STOPITSTOPIT!STOPSTOPSTOP!!HYAAAAA!!!" She shrieked, flailing her shoulders and head to the side, kicking and screaming. And with the last bits of her resistance being broken, the curse upon her reached its final point; her frenzied movements stopped with a violent shudder, and the runic symbols that spread across her flesh flared up simultaneously with a malicious red glow. Her body convulsed in synchronization with her heart's heavy pulse.

At this point she was only semi-conscious...and she slowly gazed over to Kyuji when she heard his voice claiming she'd be quiet. She stared emptily into his general direction, analyzing those damned feline eyes that stared into her. Stared emptily at his gaze that commanded her with unspoken threats of severity. And she was silent. "....." She was silent, yes; but this was entirely coincidental as she really wasn't stable enough to be reasonable at this point. She was silent simply because under her Hell Seal-fueled delirium and hate, she was deciding if Kyuji was just as bad as the demon that held her. He did make deals with demons, let her suffer in pain, and finally disregarded her plea to fight on her behalf; so why should she listen to him?

And so the Priestess addressed her next words to both The Devil and The God with her;
<B>"...Burn." She whispered softly, her voice a like a distant bell ringing in the far horizon.
"Burn", she repeated, this time her voice resonating within the walls of the room like an enthralling echo.
"BURN!" she shrieked; she'd be surprised if Kyuji's wife herself didn't hear that, regardless of the size of their home.
The sound of her voice carried with it a curse of her own, born of her malice and anger, her weakness and shame, and above all, the unholy pain she was going through. So that through her illusion, they too might experience some of the mind-numbing agony of the Hell seal claiming her body as her words echoed painfully within the skulls of those listening to her, as if their head itself became engulfed by her illusory blue flames. (Crippled/Musical Casting/Elemental Illusion Fire)

....And before being able to even see the results of her final act of defiance, her body truly did go limp under the stress. The light of consciousness faded from her eyes, as she passed out...If there was one small mercy, it was that perhaps when she awoke, she'd be free from the pain and the demon would be out of her sight.

[Azusa's unconscious now until otherwise. Not really topic left yet until you guys leave, or if she wakes up]

Akkuma merely chuckled his eyes holding a devilish mischief, it seemed the being was well and truly back to his monstrous self. Azusa demanded he didn't look at her like that, perhaps it was his looking down on her. No doubt this would be one of the hardest lessons of her life, to learn how easily ones life could be forever changed in one moment. When he lifted her into his arms, two things happened. First was the little Kitsune's futile struggle against the demons grasp, she seemed to be in agony while his touch seemed to further disgust her. After a few moments of struggling she began to scream, they would carry down the hall. Her pain must have been incredible, every nerve in her body seemed to be searing from the demonic energy and contact.

Secondly Kyuji began moving towards the demon readying himself to attack and unleashing his Holy energy. Akkuma had never seen his cousin like this, how delightful it was to see his cousin so affected by his words. How easily he had coaxed this wrath out of him now he was learning from Akkuma. Soon he would understand the need for the Demon, unfortunately before he could get to work on his lesson something happened. The runic glyphs spreading over the Kitsune's body glowed brightly as the sealing process ended. She screamed in agony her body convulsing then going limp in his arms. It seemed she was only barely holding onto her consciousness, how incredible her will must have been to survive this. Cradling her tenderly and adjusting his grip to better support her frail frame, in this moment he couldn't help but notice how adorable her fox-like ears were.

The Demon doubted his cousin would really kill his apprentice although he hadn't seen the man like this before. Though when he heard his cousins words about Riyota that gaze he held Kyuji with had a deadly bloodlust in its intensity. "I highly doubt you would kill little Azusa here. Though you are obviously pissed at me. We both know our fight will not be happening now. Azusa needs medical attention, you will deal with that. Let me say this...prepare yourself. For when we battle, I intend to make you suffer for what you did to my son."<i></i> he would snarl at the God-like being before him.

Something unexpected happened next, Azusa began screaming that they would burn. Her voice echoing around the walls with the new power she was effected by. Blue flames burst fourth from her and he could feel them burning at his flesh. Even with this he did not drop her, pain was something he revealed in. Although the flames quickly subsided as she passed out her frame going limp from unconsciousness. A warmth was in his eyes as held her in his gaze and spoke to Kyuji. "She will make you a fine apprentice, you'll need to help her cope with this."[/color] he would say taking a step towards the God-like being. His gaze going up to meet the beings glowing and rage filled eyes.

"Such bloodthirst is ill becoming of you cousin. To say you would kill her...that is cold even by my standards."<i></i> he would say with a chuckle, continuing to walk towards the shinobi. Returning to his normal less monstrous form he held the young priestess out towards the Byakko. Would his cousin take her or would he attack the Demon and the young priestess?

If Kyuji took her from his arms he would turn to leave stopping when he got to the door. "Should you harm Riyota again...I will kill you. That boy is my son, mark me. I will make you suffer for that..."<i></i> he would say in a serious tone. Pausing before he said his next words "It will be hard for you to earn her trust again after threatening to kill her. Did you not hear her voice when she cried out for you to be her champion of justice? All that faith and in one moment you threw it away. That is what it is to feel the Chaos of wrath cousin...now imagine how my mind feels knowing I am a being of Chaos. Perhaps you can learn from today as well."<i></i> he would say before walking away, no doubt Kyuji knew that Azusa needed medical attention. The sooner the better, when it came to ensuring there was minimal chance of permanent damage. Hopefully he decided he could wait to fight his cousin and exert his rage.

[OOC: If Kyuji doesn't take Azusa from Akkuma ignore the last paragraph ^_^ also happy to rp a mini battle if you feel Kyuji would still be to angry XD Akkuma is used to the occassional ass whooping.]

Things were definitely getting more intense for everyone in the room as tensions were high, people were reaching their breaking point, and the actions and words of all of them were making a situation worse. Never before had the descendant of Byakko ever threatened a family member nor someone who worked under him with the sweet embrace of Lady Death. It was because of his devilish cousin that he was acting up in the way that he was and it was not setting a good example for his apprentice; nor was his actions to try to save her which she would probably remember for the rest of her life until he either vanished or eventually passed on to the afterlife. Hopefully, she could forgive him for how he acted and he could forgive her for how she was acting as well since she had barged into his home uninvited, got involved into a conversation that she had no reason to be in, and got herself harmed by his cousin by one of those demonic hellish seals that his cousin was notorious for in the Hidden Sand since he saw one from dear Riyota before.

However, the situation at hand was fortunately getting a little better as Akkuma had reverted to his original form and proceeded to hold the foxfire priestess out for Kyuji to take if he chose to. Obviously, he would as he would take her from him after locking his gates up again and stopping his murderous double attack. She looked so peaceful in her slumber, but he didn't have much time to focus on her as his cousin was threatening him with death for what he did to Riyota and trying to lecture the holy man about losing the trust of his apprentice. Honestly, he was probably right about losing her trust since he did threaten her, but she wanted him to kill the demon and he had gotten close enough for his standards by making threats and showing his advanced skills to the demon. When the time was right, they would face off again with their fists and skills in combat, but for now at least, Kyuji would have to allow his cousin to go off and do his own thing in the world. The descendant of Byakko after all needed to attend to his apprentice's medical conditions after being touched by the filthy demonic hands of the Demon of the Mist to her holy blood.

And that is exactly what he would do after placing that scroll that he received from Akkuma into his back pocket. Once that was taken care of he would carry the girl much like a baby into the infirmary of the Byakko Clan where surprisingly his wife was at after saying that she was going to be out all day on errands. She must've gotten done earlier and it was clear as day that she had seen the Demon walking in their house as her eyes showed signs of concern and worry as they looked into her husband's and then at the unconscious body of Azusa. Obviously, the situation wasn't ideal for Kyuji to be carrying another girl in his arms, but there was really no reason to be questioning what was going on as both Byakkos knew there was no time to waste with Akkuma being in the house. They quickly got the priestess of the Aikayume hooked up to a machine to track her breathing and heart rate. It appeared her breathing was weak when she was first hooked up to the machine and her heart rate was through the roof as it was making the machine beep loudly and having the screen flash red which meant she was in a critical condition incident. But, there was really nothing they could do, but wait until she woke from her state and tried to assist her then since a curse seal was something that neither medic had the power to give or take away. The seal itself wasn't entirely a bad thing if one wanted to give some of their self-control to unlock the powers that the seals gave much like the inner gates that Kyuji had. But in either scenario, the consequences for overusing the gifts could be ultimately death, but also mere bones shattering, organs being damaged, and permanent damage to the body.

As they waited, Kyuji would explain to his wife in great detail the whole incident that had happened and what had gotten them to this point. At many points in the story, the descendant of Byakko would have to turn his head in shame at how he acted with his apprentice in the room and for the words that he used towards a family member. But, he had every right to be mad for how both Azusa and Akkuma had been acting towards one another and towards him; then again, they probably felt the same way with how he was acting towards them. This whole explanation would prompt Lady Yanshi to tilt her head to the side sometimes in confusion and other times cross her shoulders and just shake her head in disapproval. Were both Byakkos upset with each other? It was quite possible since Azusa had been an issue before in their relationship when she acted out in the exam and got him injured. But, both medics were professionals and they needed to focus on the patient first and foremost even if there was tensions and that is exactly what they did. One Byakko would go on one side of her and the other on the other side holding her hand, yes her hand, and channel their chakra from their body into hers to hopefully help her recover quicker and also to combat the curse seal that could potentially be harming her body in more ways than one. Remember, neither of them were masters on sealing or removing a seal so they didn't technically have all the knowledge related to them...the two who did were the devil himself, Akkuma, and his brother, Toraono Kuro. Kuro could be called upon if needed, but Akkuma definitely would not be any assistance for now.

During the channeling of chakra from their bodies to Azusa's, Kyuji would recount the words spoken to him from his apprentice and the actions that she had towards him while being influenced by the curse seal. Hopefully, that wasn't her true nature being shown via the curse seal and she was still the nice, innocent, but stubborn, sarcastic priestess that he knew. He hoped the curse seal had only been messing with her mind and body or else the little smart apprentice of his was actually some more sinister and evil than he thought.

[OOC:
1. As Azusa is out for the count and Kyuji doesn't want to stop you, Akkuma is allowed to leave. We will definitely have our spar/fight soon enough so prepare yourself, my friend.
2. Azusa taken from Akkuma. Azusa, you are free to wake up or stay out for now.
3. Topic now Entered with NPC: Lady Yanshi]

Pulse pounding.

Nightmares.

Body burning.

Azusa tossed and turned within her sleep, shouting out at times, and twitching randomly at others. Though her body desperately needed rest to adjust, it was not a quiet slumber; Nightmares plagued her mind, and a the scorching heat of a fever haunted her body. Had it not been for the skilled care of Kyuji and his Wife, the Priestess would have faced far, far worse consequences than what she had.

Their steady chakra helped bring stabilization to her frenzied system, and their medical care helped keep her safe from extreme debilitation and ensured that she would eventually awaken. That being said, this was not a situation Azusa would merely wake up after twenty minutes, or even an hour of rest. Eventually, her heart rate was the first to stabilize, and shortly after the glowing runes of her seal began no longer glow, retreating into an inactive state. Her breathing wasn't erratic, and became the normal deep, slow rhythm that accompanied deep sleep. Her feverish body stopped sweating, though her veins were still bulging.

Hours after they had hooked her up to their medical station, the Priestess began to stir. "....Urgh..." Azusa groaned; it took considerable effort just for her to life her head off the bed....And she wasn't quite sure if that was even a good idea, as the room seemed to twist and turn around her when she looked around. "...Sen...sei?" She tried to speak, but raised her hand to her mouth as the urge throw up threatened her for a few long moments until it passed. After a few more moments to recuperate herself, she felt confident enough to continue speaking. "...Yanshi? Are you there?...Is that you?" She couldn't be sure; the brightness of the room forced her to squint, but even still, her vision was heavily blurred; which could be attributed to the blood vessels in her eyes rupturing at some point during her sleep, staining the whites of her eyes red. One of her pupils were even feral like the Byakko's own. Yes, foxes could have sharp eyes too, it wasn't just a feline thing. Aside from her eyes, her nails and teeth had also grown sharper during her sleep; Akkuma's dark energy had altered her beyond the Curse Seal.

The Genin gazed around the room; she was not at her shrine, that was for sure. (My head hurts so much....It's hard to think. Where am I...) She gripped her forehead, trying to clear away the fog that clouded her memory and left her delirious. "What happened to me? I....I feel horrible." She questioned. She tried to retrace her steps in her mind; she had come to the Byakko's estate to visit... Azusa recalled being afraid of something, and breaking something...A door? Had she broken something of Yanshi's, and ended up here?

As her mind worked to piece the puzzle of memories together, the machine beside her began beeping louder and faster in sync with her rising pulse. She remembered it was not Lady Yanshi she had been afraid of, but...Kyuji and his cousin. She recalled their meeting behind closed doors, and her shouting as she entered. She remembered how she shamefully lost her composure and threw herself into the room risking herself without any plan of action. She remembered everyones threats. The loud beeping of the machine beside her began to get to her, and she pulled off the wires monitoring her; but it didn't stop the burning in her eyes as tears mixed with blood dripped down her cheeks. "...Leave me. I'm leaving now.", she declared as she struggled to her feet despite her nausea.

The two figureheads of the Byakko Clan continued to sit beside the the foxfire priestess on opposite sides channeling their chakra into the girl's body emitting a green aura as they kept going. Overall, it seemed that she was becoming more and more stable as time passed, but she was still having negative side effects in relation to the curse seal, or so they assumed, as her body was twitching and she occasionally shouted out as she was recovering with blood-pitching screeches. One thing was for sure, his dearest cousin was going to be met with a nice fist in the mouth next time that they encountered one another and he would lay the demon out on the group and possibly leave him with a marking to remember him by. But for now, bad blood between the Demon and the God would need to wait as Azusa was far more important at this moment in time as they continued their healing process. Luckily, her body was leaving its feverish state from the looks of it and the runes of the seal went dormant for now. Surprisingly to everyone including Yanshi, she was being very calm and supportive of the girl even after their little mix-up during the exam where she sent a ice, cold ice spear through her husband's chest because she had been seeing red as Azusa was taunting her. That spear was suppose to pierce the girl's chest and handicap her, but Kyuji had to be Mister Important and protect his students from his wife. Odd day, odd events as the Byakko's children were also born that day and Azusa had delivered them.

Anyways, it would take quite a few hours but eventually, the Fox began to stir in the bed with groans and she looked like she was in pain trying to lift her head. The immediate calling for him and his wife would have their attention turn from wherever it, was which was probably her hands as they were channeling their chakra through there, and look right at her face. The look on her face showed it all that she was not feeling quite well probably from the mixture of a dark seal with her pure blood; it also appeared that she might have damaged her eyes during her enraged outbreak as her sclera were stained with a red-color. Hell, one of her eyes was looking feral like the Byakko's eyes when they got excited about something, but that wasn't the only thing different after the clusterfuck that happened earlier. No, her nails and teeth had grown as well since the encounter with Akkuma as well. Overall, she looked fine and nobody would be able to tell much of a difference unless they were looking closely, but she definitely changed and needed immediate care to at least help her with her eyes as the blood vessels shouldn't have ruptured like they did and she was prone to infection or worse: losing her eyesight and eyes. Sure, the Hospital had eyes stored for emergencies, but it was better for them to use them for more severe cases. Hopefully, that wouldn't be the case today.

After a little bit of time, the girl would look around the room and then asking them what had happened to her. But before they could respond, she demanded that she was leaving now after the machines had been ripped out from her after they had been evaluating and beeping more and more prior to that. The worse part of it all was her eyes were dripping a mixture of blood and tears. She was also trying to get to her feet, but that wasn't going to happen as Kyuji would grab her with a shocking touch and bark to Yanshi to seal the room closed which she did by casting some one-handed seals that encased all the windows and doors in ice. He would let the kitsune girl go and he stood up and appeared beside his wife as they both looked at her with concerned looks on their faces.
"I cannot let you go, Azusa. It might have been partially my fault that you were sealed by Akkuma, but you should've never entered a private conversation behind locked doors like you did. I am pretty sure that you know better as a priestess of the Aikayume Clan than to do what you did. I am---
"Kyuji! Now is not the time to be chewing her out. She knows she messed up, but she needs immediate medical attention. Don't be a damn fool."
"But she needs to know her mistakes, Yan--"
"For crying out loud, she is bleeding out of her eyes and her body can barely move. Is it really the time to be badgering her?!"
"...you are...right...sorry..."
"..."

The man of the couple would then walk towards his apprentice and bend down as he towered over her and said solemnly: "I apologize for how I just acted and for earlier...I am embarrassed as your sensei for my action. But, look Yanshi and I need to heal you now or you are going to die from a loss of blood and you will never get to take the throne from me in our branch. Please, trust her and I to help you, it is our job after all...and we were healing you prior to you waking up."
Lady Yanshi would then walk over as well to the girl and begin to talk to her after Kyuji finished: "I know you are edgy with me for trying to pierce you with an ice spear in the exam and then having to deliver my sweet babies to me. I also know why you'd feel unease about Kyuji as well since he told me what happened when he and I first saw each other after the incident." She would then lean in to finish talking so she was right near the girl's ear, but with her affinity to ice, her breathe was probably cold on the girl's ear/neck: "You know, Kyuji does say he is very proud of your progress as a medic and said that you are doing much better than all the other apprentices that are working towards being medics. You also are advancing much quicker than previous apprentices which includes my sister and others of the Byakko Clan. So please let us help you since you helped us when we needed it with my births. I promise that Kyuji will tell you exactly what happened and you can judge him, his cousin and I however you like after we medically treat you."

"Please..." Azusa meekly begged when Kyuuji had stopped her from getting up; Azusa simply wanted to be left alone. Her weak attempt at leaving was easily put to a stop at that point though; Lady Yanshi going above and beyond by freezing her escape routes just cemented any thoughts of leaving out of Azusa's mind.

Contrary to how she normally was, she didn't resist or struggle in an attempt at escape. In fact, if Lady Yanshi had not tried to interrupt Kyuuji, his lecture would be completely uncontested; Azusa had no intent on arguing. "....." He didn't have to tell her that she had acted rashly and with complete disregard to Kyuuji, she was well aware. Had it been in a situation where Akkuma had wanted her dead, she had doubts that even Kyuuji would have been able to stop him in that situation. Without even touching upon whether or not Kyuuji would have even wanted too.

Her options here were limited. And by that, there was really no option; "...Do as you wish. I...won't try to leave or anything." Azusa spoke, defeated, unable to even risk looking either of the Byakko in the eyes. Besides, she felt if she tried to leave she'd probably stumble across something else she should have stayed out of instead of messing up. She had beaten the odds of surviving, but she had trouble deciding if she was truly "lucky" or not; Azusa's irrational hatred of darkness was not unique to her, and quite common within the Aikayume. Whether or not she could, and for how long, be able to hide from her clan the taint that touched her...

....It frightened her.

Azusa was trying her best to resist the selfpity building up within her, and Yanshi...chilly...words were a great distraction. The misty frost her words carried made Azusa's ears, fuzzy as they were, twitch and her head shiver. Azusa spoke back to Yanshi in a hushed whisper. It was likely Kyuuji could still hear, but it helped Azusa mentally.
"...I never held it against you, Lady Yanshi. But...even if I was doing great, I've made some mistakes..." Even if Azusa was advancing quickly, her selfimportance wasn't easily kept under control; she felt invincible, the best, and as a result, fell into her current situation. If what she said was true and Kyuuji was proud of her, Azusa wanted all the more not to break that image he had of her. She wanted to be the perfect apprentice that proficiently latched onto all he taught. "Lady Yanshi....I'm so angry. I can't speak to Kyuuji right now. I want to blame him for speaking with demons, but...It's my fault for thinking I could have done something in that situation. I was so pathetic, all he had to do was touch me to turn me into a wreck. I don't want to look weak." Physically, she was unable to even stand up on her own, her eyes burned and vision was blurred. Mentally, she was full of shame and self-directed anger at her own stupidity. She couldn't even look at Kyuuji, and felt shame just to have him looking at her. But the sooner she was healed, the sooner she'd be able to leave. But where would she go? Returning to her shrine in this state would only cause trouble...

Perhaps it was in her best interest to take her time being healed? But while she was here, that demon was out there. Somewhere. If she couldn't hide her situation from her clan, perhaps by bringing his head she could maintain the Aikayume's trust. " I don't have time to be taking my time to heal on my own...Please help me, Lady Yanshi...and Sensei.".

It seemed Azusa had finally understood what the descendant of Byakko and his wife were trying to do. It was true that there were a mix of emotions in the room from all three individuals and it was also obviously true that the foxfire priestess needed immediate help or she was going to die as the blood continued to run down her face and drip onto the fabrics under her on the operating table. However, her minor struggle had stained the white tiled floor with her crimson liquid as well, but that could easily be cleaned up with a mop. What was most important was taking care of her right now to ensure she wouldn't die under their watch or else they would have to report to her clan that she had died. That was something neither Byakko wanted to do considering her clan was also one of the most well-known and respected clans in the village. No, indeed they did not want to do that.

Lady Yanshi would listen to Azusa as she responded to her and voiced her concerns and frustrations with Kyuji, Akkuma and herself. The child was really beating herself up over her lack of self-control, but Lady Yanshi knew quite well how children could be since she had two of them and they were quite a handful when they were around. Honestly, her husband could hear the whole conversation but he hid his emotions from Azusa to keep the tensions low in the room so he wouldn't evaluate her heart rate since the blood spilling from her eyes was getting thicker and didn't seem like it was going to slow down anytime soon. His wife also was keeping quiet to let her talk and when she finally announced that she needed help from them both, the couple looked at each other with concerned looks and nodded as they knew what must be done or so they thought.

The first thing that they did was connect the monitor back to her to check her pulse and breathing to ensure she didn't go into shock or have her rates drop into the critical zone where they would have to go to emergency techniques that would shorten her life span dramatically. During this time, neither Byakko were saying anything as they were focused on completing their tasks together as they moved her arms to her side and Lady Yanshi administrated an IV to her other arm with a liquid that slowly would begin to go into her body to make her drowsy and eventually pass out. As the liquid was going into her, Lady Yanshi would kneel beside her ear again and begin to talk quietly again to keep her calm. "Azusa, don't be alarmed. We put the IV into your arm to relax your body and to put you to sleep so we can quickly and carefully operate on you. I assure you that you will be okay and you will be out of here soon. Believe me. We only want the best for any of our medical patients and you are no exception to that. So please relax and you will be back with us shortly."

She would then get back up and walk over to where Kyuji was which was in a side room preparing himself to operate on her. It wasn't hard to tell that her husband was shaken up by this as his body was shaking and his eyes showed fear as he stood there just shaking his head. The bleeding in the eyes was going to be a very difficult procedure to do since the bleeding was coming from inside of the eye through ruptures due to the strain of that damned curse seal or so he thought. The father of the couple was also concerned since he had never operated on anyone before with eyes without supervision from a more seasoned professional in the field. And sadly she was relying on him to heal her and make her all better, but there was a chance that he would blind her or fail ultimately and lose her life. There were so many variables to consider and one wrong move from his wife or him and they would be in hot water; he was going to be in hot water anyways for having a meeting with Akkuma without his wife's acknowledgement and then having his apprentice in a condition in their home. But, you win some and you lose some.

As they peeked out, they saw that she was successfully under and they could begin the procedure with no time to spare. His wife was serving primarily as the nurse handing him tools and being additional help as they would begin. He first would put on some gloves and open her right eye seeing that the eye was still reddened even after calming her time with drugs. The left eye would be checked next and it mirrored how the right eye appeared and this did not sit well with Kyuji as he began to administrate an advanced technique directly on her eyes with Yanshi holding the eyes opened. The green aura of his chakra fused with a little bit of his celestial white chakra and slowly it appeared the bleeding began to subsided which was great. Unfortunately as soon as he stopped his chakra, the bleeding began again and her reddened eyes began to have dark markings on them almost seemingly like she was being possessed by the curse seal again. Sadly, that was the case as her body's natural defense had triggered her dormant curse seal to become active again somehow even when she was out and her body was suppose to be numb.

The unfortunate scene would get worse for the couple as her eyes would begin to bleed even more and the fabric and floor were being drenched in the crimson liquid. There was a lot of swearing coming from Kyuji as he didn't know exactly what to do and Lady Yanshi just stared in shock as she had never seen a case like this before. It appeared her husband's chakra was being deflected from the dark energy given from Akkuma to her. There was no way that a mere curse seal should've had this much effect on someone's body, but this individual who placed it on her was her cousin-in-law after all. Anything was possible when a demon like Akkuma lurked around your extended family's Dojo. Her poor husband was frustrated and she had gone into shock, it seemed the Byakko figureheads weren't anything special...

...but after some minutes of just standing there like foolish adults, Kyuji looked over at Azusa and then grabbed his wife instructing her about his plan. He had to shake her a little to get her out of her initial shock, but she quietly nodded to him as the idea was slightly crazy. She would help him wheel another operating table beside Azusa's and he would lay on the table as his wife pricked him with a needle and began to take his blood from his body carefully making sure to watch how much she was taking to ensure she didn't waste any of his blood since the Byakko Clan's blood was sacred and was suppose to never be spilled unless absolutely needed. Through the procedure, Kyuji closed his eyes and continued to pray to his Lord Byakko to guide him through this operation on his apprentice and clenching his other fist before his wife shook him telling him that she was done and he saw the blood package and was pleased. He would then get up carefully and his wife would swap with him allowing him to do the same thing to her to continue his plan.

When she was finished, he would help her up and they would look at the two large containers of blood that was theirs and looked at Azusa. Nodding to each other, Kyuji would remove the IV that was used to administrate the drowsy drug and replace that IV with two new ones that would slowly put the blood of the Byakko heads into her body. As this transfusion occurred, the descendant of Byakko went back to the eyes and administrated his advanced medical technique again as his wife watched the transfusion process. While this complete process was happening, the foxfire priestess's body was going through some alterations as her eyes and her hair had changed significantly along with her fingernails growing slightly to resemble more of a fox's. The darkness surrounding her eyes quickly was being replaced back to the normal whites and the bleeding subsided in her eyes after a few moments. Her tail had also split into five smaller tails and her body gained some muscle mass that was clearly visible. All of this was shocking to both Byakko members, but they continued their respective jobs. To be extra cautious, Kyuji would take his holy greenish aura and go over her entire body slowly, paying attention to every detail to ensure that her body wasn't destroyed after that curse seal aftermath.

And surprisingly, it appeared the process had actually worked and the girl's body had only minor scrapes and bruises that would heal with time. Remember, time was important and checking the body for serious problems is the only thing that Kyuji did, he didn't focus on minor injuries like from a sparring match or being stabbed with a piece of paper. As they were finishing, they looked over the breathing and heart rates and both smiled as they had spiked at the on-set when her body was reacting negatively to the medical techniques, but it quickly became stable when their blood was going through her veins. Honestly, it was a surprising discovery that their holy blood could combat demonic energy from Akkuma, but this was something that apparently the Byakko could use in desperate times. However, they were both weak from the amount of blood that they donated as they slumped on their chairs beside her bed watching weakly at her. She looked so peaceful and so different, but she would be grateful for what they did. She owed them her life after all and this was honestly a great making up gift between Azusa and Yanshi.

It just sucked that Kyuji still hadn't fixed her hat from her class with him...
