Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Azusa's eyes glanced over the IV Lady Yanshi had brought to her. She knew what it was; how could she not? Azusa spent much time in the hospital with Kyuji. Still...was she in that bad of a condition to need one? Azusa could no longer tell her own state...or care. True, her body was feeling extremely numb and dreadfully cold; and the Byakko's ice woman had nothing to do with that! In the end, she let both Byakko do as they intended, putting herself in their care.

And good thing too, for the two were having enough stress without Azusa adding even more resistance to the mix. The Kitsune's weak body would succumb to the anesthetic very, very quickly, although the cursed energy within here wasn't doing anything to make Kyuuji and Yanshi's work any easier; it resisted the Byakko's attempts at healing Azusa, and using chakra upon her only seemed to agitate her seal. Had she been conscious, it would have been a stressful ordeal, so Azusa being out was a very big mercy.

...And then the Byakko had decided on a different approach, one that took Azusa's traits into account. To be 'Priestess' of the Aikayume meant to be one to serve as a vessel for the Aikayume blood. This also had meant that for the main branch Aikayume, they were naturally receptive to the transfusion of blood and the power it contained; thus the Byakko's decision to transfer their sacred blood to Azusa was a wise one, and one that created a very real link between the two clans now that the Aikayume blood was mixed with that of the Byakko as well.

This transfusion made her body far more receptive to the Byakko's chakra; the medical techniques would actually begin to show positive results. And once her body was no longer being broken down by corrupt demonic energy, an equilibrium formed between Akkuma's dark energy and the Byakko's sacred one. One that allowed Azusa to act as a host for two very different powers. For an Aikayume Kitsune, their tails were a sign of power; for hers to split from one into five could only mean that whatever the two Byakko had done not only worked, but far exceeded an expected results.

After their care, Azusa was out for a while longer which hopefully gave the Byakko pair a much-needed time to rest after the intense care they provided her. When the priestess finally raised herself up, her hair was much longer, having grown wildly while she was unconscious to the point it nearly reached her waist. And she her sight was without pain or blurriness! It took a moment for her to adjust to how crisp her vision was, and she when she attempted to get to her feet quickly stumbled to the ground; not out of any weakness, but from unexpected strength. "W-waah!"

...This sudden excitement helped wake her up fully by this point, enough to realize that both Kyuuji and Yanshi were in the room with her still. "Ahh...I see...If your here, then I should be better now right? I'll just-" *crash* *clangclang* Having tried to remove the IV wire connected to her, the result was Azusa pulling it with much too much force to the point were it felt over loudly; which in turn startled her, and caused the heartrate monitor wires to be tugged as well, and...

...Yeah. *crash*

Azusa's body grew to a stronger and faster level, but all the muscle memory she had was outdated, resulting in her jerking around with uncoordinated movement. She was like a newborn learning how to use her limbs, and once she realized things weren't as she expected decided to sit on the ground, confused. "L-lady Yanshi...Sensei...is this a joke? A Genjutsu? I mean, sorry...or thank you...and sorry." The mess, their care, the demon, her anger...there was alot for her to try and sort out. "...I do feel better, but..."

...Azusa was full of confusion and embarrassment.

For the feline-like medics, it was a blessing and a curse that their patient was taking her time to wake up after her emergency surgery which was mostly her fault. If she had decided to not intervene in the meeting between the Demon Akkuma and the Holy Catman Akujin, she wouldn't have been put into such a dramatic situation; the two Byakko medics also wouldn't have been put into such a weakened state from doing a blood transfusion that was unexpected. But the Game of Life was a strange one and random events would come and go throughout one's life, the foxfire priestess was just lucky that she had two skilled medics serving her during her procedure or she would be dead right now. But, now they all would have to wait until her body and mind decided it was time to wake up.

After a few eons, the medical apprentice finally stirred alerting the two Byakko members that she was waking up. Unfortunately for her, they would just watch as she would collapse onto the ground and then forcefully tug the IV wire out of her. The results of the forceful tugging were quite loud as both of the machines tilted and fell onto the ground beside each of the Byakko. One would think with the amount of force that was used the machines would've been cracked or incapable of operating anymore, but they were still good. The heart rate one was actually buzzing since there was no pulse being taken and as quickly as she could, Lady Yanshi turned the machine over. Her husband would also turn off the other machine to minimize the noises in the room since they were both sensitive to loud noises.

Their attention would then turn back to the apprentice as Azusa was in a confused state of mind. She was apologizing, thanking them and also questioning them all in a matter of a few seconds which would've been funnier in a different light. But in this light, both of the Byakko just stared at her as signs of embarrassment and confusion filled her face. She had every right to be confused and embarrassed for how her body was acting and the events that transpired prior to the whole emergency surgery. But, the older two medics in the room had every right to also be embarrassed and frustrated with the whole ordeal since they had decided to give their holy blood to another being and that made a direct connection between the two clans. Without knowing much about the Aikayume Clan aside from Azusa, it was a dangerous connection to say the very least but they had to do something since their careers were based around saving and helping people. Azusa was just at the right place and at the right time.

The priestess had fallen right between the two medics and was positioned on the floor right at their feet more or less. Either of the two could've spoke, but the descendant of the holy Byakko decided he better be the one to speak since he was her sensei and the direct descendant. Slowly he would speak taking his time to talk to not overuse his body in his weakened state; the words would be direct and quick. "Azusa, your body is adjusting to the emergency surgery that we did on your body. You were slowly dying due to blood-loss....Yanshi and I gave you a blood transfusion that mixed our blood and chakra into your body with your own blood and chakra to combat Akkuma's demonic chakra seeping from the curse seal. You will have to relearn how to use your body much like you did as a baby, but you can do it. Do not be freaked out if your mind and body can see things clearer and with more of a focus than before as our clan is notorious for our healing methods and heighten eyesight. The only drawback to our clan is we also have heightened hearing which can be a blessing and curse depending on the situation. Also look at your body, your tails have split and there have also been other modifications due to our two clan's holy blood fusing together." He would pause momentarily to catch his breath and then continue: "You are free to leave when you are ready and able. Our part as medics is over, but take it easy the next few days so your body can adjust properly. We will speak about the circumstances that brought us to this situation in the future when neither of us are weak or confused."

So what would Azusa do? If she stayed, the two Byakko would entertain her but if she chose to leave, they would slowly try to make it to their room to lay down and recover.

[OOC: It is up to you if we continue or not. If we do, I will not leave the topic. But if you post topic left, we will consider myself leaving the topic as well. MFT.]

Azusa was not unfamiliar to enhanced hearing —The ears of a kitsune were not just for show afterall— but even still had found everything to be oddly loud. Her ears were still ringing from the sound of fallen medical equipment when Kyuji had spoke to her...

...and Azusa reached behind herself and turned her head to confirm that indeed, her tail had split into several smaller ones. Not only that, but her hair was longer as well, and unruly. The situation she had placed herself into was dire, and extreme measures were taken to help her.

For that, she was thankful. And did she recognize how she wasn't entirely faultless? Yes. But she also held lingering doubts over the situation that made her unable to fully put what Kyuji had done behind her. Knowing this, the Kitsune felt it would be in everyone's best interest if she left while she was still under confusion for the situation and 'cooldowned' so to say. Before she heated up...

She did not want to act spitefully towards someone who had just helped her. In their own home no less, after they had saved her. The Byakko had ensured that Azusa remained Azusa through the devil's touch, but had this truly put her out of harm? As Priestess of her clan, Azusa's life was not only her own and even she would have to deal with the consequences of jeopardizing her own safety. There were such things as fates worse than death...

...But that was an issue she would have to tackle in the future. For now, the least she could do was concede to a ceasefire.

And so, the Kitsune slowly rose to her feet, cautiously; as if the very ground beneath her was unstable and threatened to break away if she made any quick movement. She returned her gaze to Kyuji; "I see...You and Lady Yanshi have saved me, and for that I really am thankful. But...I haven't forgiven you...I am not angry...I don't think I am, at least...But...demons." The fox said. Of course Akkuma was on her mind; her face quickly became grim as the memories returned to haunt her. Anger at her weakness. Fear for her future.

Realizing the negativity returning, she began to leave the room. "I...don't want to talk about it yet. I need time to think about things; I think its best if I leave now."

...The hard part was ensuring that her body acted as she wanted. Kyuji had not lied when he said she'd need to relearn control over muscle movements. So she'd have plenty of work to keep herself occupied as she recovered before she was ready to speak with Kyuji again.

For the most part Azusa and her sensei had always parted on a pleasant note; after a constructive lesson, or a successful day at the hospital. Normally situations that caused her to look forwards to their next meeting.
...It was painfully uncomfortable for her to leave with anything less than encouragement or pride, and dreading their next encounter. "I'll...be going."

It hurt.
