Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Post: Hissori was a bit confused and nervous. His life was really out of his hands. Without a passport, Hissori knew that his dog, and himself could be denied entrance to any major city. It had happened before. Now he just had to wait to see if it would happen again. His own inner thoughts were interrupted by Haruka speaking again. It seemed like she was telling the nonmedical male to shut up and stop worrying about her. She also said that she could kill, which seemed like a threat against him or really anyone at the gates.

“Thank you.” He said lowly as he looked at her nodding a bit with a small sigh of relief. It seemed that for some reason the women decided to take mercy on him. But, she did finish that the other people here would have to be a judge of his character, and to see if he could work here.

The response of the male was something Hissori was not ready for. He was waiting for the verdict and instead, a snake came out of his mouth. It truly was a disgusting site. The medical shinobi did not let it show that he was freaked out though in his head he was thinking, What am I getting myself into. It was at this point that finally Kieta spoke up.

It wasn’t Hissori would was paying attention to Buru during these whole scene of the spider coming out of his mouth, by Buru. Buru’s icy blue eyes were just staring at the head medic, and he was curious to see what he though. In the file there was even a small file on Buru, about his strengths with dealing with children and being able to assist with surgeries. Still that wasn’t the main thing, the main file was on Hissori. As Keita would speak, the pair would smile. They had a job!

“I would love to help you.” He said speaking carefully to not give away how happy he was. He would just nod extending his hand to Keita as if to accept the offer. He would need to talk to him more about being able to continue his research finally, but that could wait till they were in private to talk about his research on blood.

Post: Wow. Just wow. Hissori knew that probably wasn’t an opportunity to again a hospital like the one in Kirigakure, but this was awful. As the pair walked the story wondered what kind of situation he was getting into. The area which held the hope clinic certainly wasn’t hopeful. Windows were boarded shut and stores are close. Everywhere around Hissori seem to be depressed. Trash was thrown around the streets, and it seemed like an incredibly dangerous place.

Even for a shinobi like Ii Hissori he wondered if he was going to be mugged or a group of hoodlums would try taking place. It didn’t take long into his walk that the Inuzaka realized this was going to be nothing like his old village. Immediately, Hissori felt guilty and saddened for all the people of this village. It seemed like it would be hell to live here. He would have to do whatever could take to make this place better. It seemed that It seemed that the betterment of this village would start with the clinic.

Standing in the front of the clinic Hissori stood mouth agape. This was worse than anything here ever seen in his hot island homeland. To begin with it seemed overcrowded. The chairs seemed old and destroyed. The tiles on the ground were dirty and neglected to the point which Hissori believe the originally white tiles were now almost yellow. All the lights were flickering, and gave an incredibly dingy look to the waiting room. It did not take fellow like Hissori long to realize that this clinic was understaffed. Furthermore Hissori assumed that it was also underprepared with the basic essential tools of being a medic.

I have to be in charge of this? Hissori thought to himself as he silent looked around the room. Hissori did not even need to look at his dog companion to know that Buru was also in a state of shock. It certainly was going to take a lot of work to not only turn this clinic around but also this area. With his mind working the shinobi followed behind the head medic into an office.

“I’m supposed to be in charge of this?” Hissori would ask in an exasperated tone. It would be again be a moment before the story would speak. During this time, he would think. Try to be positive Hissori began to think above it began to think up of a method to attack this horrible situation. Would take a lot of work, but Hissori knew that he could pull this off.

Offering a smile that showed off his sharp thing like canines, Hissori gave a low chuckle. “I will be glad to work here and help out. But I am going to need something’s first to make sure I can help these people properly.”

Well, this was certainly different. It had been a week since Ii Hissori had found a new home, here in Iwagakure. Specifically he had found his apartment in a nicer neighborhood than where he worked. The apartment right now was barren. Ii Hissori was never much for furniture, but now it was awful. He actually had been sleeping just on a blanket next to his dog, Buru. He was too busy to get well anything right in the Hope Clinic.

The whole week, Hissori had been working on the clinic, or at least trying to make headway there. Every day, Hissori was either looking at the medical materials, or evaluating the medical staff, or at least trying to clean a little bit. At night, Hissori worked on the floor plans for his clinic. But this was not what the day was about, no. Today was about shopping finally for his apartment.

In the bright sun Ii Hissori was walking down the streets. He had a list of the stuff he needed. He actually needed everything from a fridge to a bed. Luckily for Hissori, he had a lot of mission money saved up from his work around the world during his travels, and some coupons given to him from Keita to help him settle in that were government funded.

It was strange though, Hissori was walking down the streets really not knowing anything. Which clan was a good place to get a bed? Which clan made the best beds? Which clan made the best furniture’s? He was lost. Hopelessly wondering down the streets, Hissori peered to some of the buildings trying to find anything. God he needed help.

“You are safe here.” The former medical chief told the cat. He might have been related to dogs, and had a companion that was a dog, but Hissori was an animal person. He loved anything wild, and respected it. Of course, Buru had a natural hatred of the animal, but he was too tired to even look at the cat. Hissori was about to offer the cat his hand to pet it or let her sniff it, but he all of a sudden felt incredibly sleepy. His green eyes would flutter a bit before he relaxed back into the tree which he was resting again.

“Help yourself….” II Hissori said before in a slow tone before he was engulfed in a deep, restful sleep. In this sleep, he did not move a bit. In fact, some could stumble upon him and believe that he was dead. However, every now and then his leg would kick, or he would adjust himself murmuring something. He had a gentle smile playing on his pale pink lips, but his chest barely rose or fell. As sleep went, it looked like it was a deep one, and more importantly the sleep was one that giving the boy great dreams.

In the head of Ii Hissori, he was back on the beach of the Kirigakure. There was no apocalypse. There was no problems to deal with at the hospital, nothing was wrong. On the beach, Hissori was resting in a light blue swim suit. He was basking in the sun. The sun that warmed him to his very soul. He had all his friends there, Katsumi, Koroki, Karurosu, and his parents. Buru was there as well running in the water. Everyone was doing something liked, they were all happy, and most importantly, they were all there. This was something that probably would never happen again, and deep down Hissori knew it. But, it was nice to dream right.

Stirring a bit from his sleep, Hissori began to break whatever hold the cat had on him and squirmed a bit. His strawberry head began to rise as his green eyes started to open again. Only half awake, Hissori started to be put on edge. Had he been put on genjustu, had he been forced to sleep? What was happening to him?

“Whose there?” Hissori acted as he looked around a bit going to rub his eyes. Where had the cat gone? Who was speaking to him? Everything was starting to make him nervous.

Roleplay post:
It had taken to long for people to response to his request of questions. But for now, Hissori would begin to respond to the question. Buru would just stay by Karuru almost as if he was loyal to the boy. Hissori knew he was just trying to get attention by the way he was looking up at Karuru waiting for pets.

“The book will not be that important, I will be saying everything important for what you want to take notes on that.” He told the man who by the moment he thought was starting to believe that he was blind. It was no problem. He had dealt with blind people before in the hospital so that was not a big worry. The worries began with the young boys questions.

“Research is not made up. It is real things. The questions are made up though in a sense. Each research topic comes with an idea that at one point could not be imagined. For example, at one point in time, medics and people did not know how the chakra system worked. But now because people imagined the right questions, we know how ti works.

Jun picked me to run the hope clinic because of my background working in the hospitals and medical field in my old village. There, I was basically the head of my village’s version of the hope clinic. When I came to the village, he had happened to be at the gates when I was let in show my creditials and were let in right on the spot.” Hissori finished with a nod. With all the questions answered Hissori again nodded.

“It will be about the basics of the blood system and the chakra system: so if you turn to page 67. I can start.” He told the class before nodding and getting up going to the chalk board.

“So before I begin, what can people tell me about the blood system and chakra systems.” Hissori said as he looked around ready to see if they knew anything.

Roleplay:
Ii Hissori nodded a bit as he smiled. He was all ready for this and extremely happy to answer the questions. He would ruffle his red hair as he looked over at her nodding. He would start off with telling her the full plan. He adjusted his body, and reached into his bag. Out of this came three rolls of blue paper. He would hand them over to the Daiymo with a smile before clearing his throat.

“These are a copy of the approved blue-prints in the new hospital. I designed them myself on my free time when I was trying to fix the Hope Clinic. They are designed to give my part of the medical branch the best possible way to help and treat the civilians of this village. As you can see, there are five floors, with a sixth floor being underground.

To begin with, the basement floor, will hold the morgue, and scientific library. To me the key point of this floor is the scientific library. I want this library to a place where all the medical, and scientific readings will kept there. This is the place will not only keep the village’s discoveries and research, but it will also keep publish report from around the world. I want this to become a place where every medic can come in order to learn about the wonders of medicine.

Moving up to the first floor, I have designed it with a large cafeteria, temple, and modern intake desk. People will be able to come into the hospital and easily ask to see a doctor. However, the most important thing I added to the entry floor of the hospital is a small chapel like temple that you can see to the right of the intake desk. I have found it important that when in a hospital, a place where people can often face death, there are priests there to help deal with the spiritual injuries.

Moving on to the second floor, this is the general place where patients will be seen. With a secondary general waiting room in the center of the floor, there are many rooms that will be suitable for doctors and nurses to treat the patients. Also on this floor there will be four storage rooms that will be constantly stocked with the medical equipments such as gauzes scalpels, and syringes at all time. However, there will be two rooms large enough to hold classes in because I hope to be able to hold classes both of medicines and general life classes here.

The third floor itself is a simple floor with four medically acceptable operating rooms that have been labeled O-R. I have also requested this to be fashioned with wing to have the patients recover in.

The fourth floor will be where the in-patients will stay. This gives them an opportunity to have a private place to recover as well as a place where the nurses can stay when they are alternating rounds. It has both rooms that can fit two patients, and rooms for single patients. Of course, the single rooms will cost more as they will be the same size as the double rooms, but for only one room. Think of them as “private” rooms.

Then finally, the fifth floor is where all the doctors will have offices. It includes private offices for the chiefs. General offices for the other medical personal which has been labeled the “Medical Bullpen,” and a private office for the head of the hope clinic. However, what I have also included to these are laboratories. First, there is a private one for the chiefs, one for the general personal, and then finally a smaller one of that is attached to the Head Medical Chiefs office which can be used by others at his request.” He said as he finished each explanation floor and paused to let Haruka process what he said. He hoped it was enough. He hoped he said what the blue prints were good enough. He would take a deep breath before he told her what he wanted.

“What I want this hospital to be, is a signal of hope. Hope for inner Marushi, and the area around it. If this hospital is successful, charity meals can be made for the lower class from the cafeteria. The chapel will be able to offer wayward souls a chance to be saved. One the second floor, people will be able to get privately treated for whatever problem they have to the best of our doctor’s ability. Then, the classrooms will offer people of all ages, and social class a place to better themselves. The Operating rooms will be a place to heal whatever major problems we come across as well as a homely place for their love ones to wait to hear that we Iwagakure doctors have fixed him.

The Fourth floor with be a place for the patients to be able to relax and recover, if not live out their final days if that is the case. Then finally, the fifth floor is where doctors and scientists can converse and come up brand new solutions to problems that have been causing us as humans problems for our eternity, and maybe even give a place where new cures are invented.

In short, I want this place to be the same thing the name stands for, Hope. Not a place where average to poor care was given to everyone who did not have the money to get it. I want great care, to be given to everyone. I want this place to be hope.

Now, to tell you what we need is Katsu-san. He and I have taken inventory of everything this hospital might need.” Hissori said gently as he smiled at Katsu nodding him to continue where he picked up. There were many things that the hospital would need, and Katsu had the list. All were important, and Katsu knew that, he just hoped that Haruka would listen to the other medic.

Roleplay: Fighting through the fog of sleep, Hissori was stirring. He could hear noises around him, which was putting him through on edge. Bit, by bit he was starting to wake up as his green eyes fully opened. His arms would tired drop back to the sides of his body as he blinked. He was surrounded; surrounded by cats. Something had happened when he was sleeping, and now all these cats were eating his food. With a low oomfph Hissori pushed the still knocked out Buru as he looked around.

Defensiveness was the first feeling many people would feel if they had been in this situation. More importantly, the first instinct for most shinobi would be to attack, and when they attacked, they would attack to kill. Hissori however was still lost. Maybe still under the effect of the genjustu, Hissori didn’t want to attack. It could however, come from the idea that if he expended energy attacking this girl, Hissori would die from hypothermia, because he would be too tired to move on. Licking his pale and chapped lips, Hissori found his voice and spoke.

<B> “What is going on? Who are you? Where did all these cats come from?” He said as he asked a set of questions that seemed to make sense for this situation.

“My name is Ii Hissori, former chief of Kirigakure. Why are you here? You need to get away. We are all in danger. Are you hurt? Who are you traveling with?” He told her as he tried to think more and more about questions he should ask.

Roleplay:


Hissori was eating, and listening to the entertainment. He was waiting for Akechi to pick his words about where he came from. Though they seemed to make sense in the mind of the former medical chief.

<B> “That is certainly interesting, I wish I had found a place like that. I made my first major progress into the medical field with the Uchiha bloodline. I came up with a way to perform surgeries to implant eyes like yours into other Uchiha’s that did not have the same blood type. That was a long time ago, I was thirteen when I did that. In a different village too.” Hissori said lowly as he started to think of Kirigakure.

“If I knew what happened, I would have tried to stop it. My village. It just kept getting colder and colder, and then it seemed like all the wildlife either left or died, and then before you know it… we couldn’t live there anymore.” Hissori said in a very soft but blunt tone not making eye contact with the man.

Hissori felt the lady’s hands come down on his shoulder and he froze. This was going to be horrible. He did not know what he wanted to sing, or what he would have to sing. Finishing his fourth drink. Hissori stumbled a bit as he got up. He would wipe his youthful, yet wind worn face on his sleeve as he nodded a bit. It was finally time.

“Wish me luck. Come on Buru let’s get this over with.” He said as he started to walk up towards the stage. As he walked, he slipped past Souji. Hissori had picked up on him going to do something, and this something seemed shady. Naturally, the foreigner was put on edge, and made nervous. How many times had he been in taverns with pirates or shady people, and he had seen huge brawls break out? At least twice was the answer.

There was silence after this encounter for about five minutes as Hissori conferred with the person in charge about what song he could sing. Eventually, Hissori was nodding and smiling. It seemed the café had something he knew. He would take a rather large drink of ice water and whisper something that sounded like growls towards his dog before he ascended the stage.

His green eyes were blinded by the light that shown down on him as he tapped on the mic. Oh god. It is on. Hissori thought as in that moment he was overcome with stage fright. He had done surgeries in front of people. Made presentations that were worth thousands of yen when he worked in Kirigakure. He had even just made a speech to get the funding he needed for the new Hope Clinic! But this, this was scary. He adjusted his strawberry blonde hair, before he cleaned his throat and started to give an introduction.

“Um… Hello.” He said meekly before he continued.” My name is Ii Hissori and I will be performing a song I learned after fleeing my village when I was on the high seas.” He told them lowly as he looked around to see if people were paying attention to him. Again unfortunately they were. Taking a breath again Hissori attempted to put on a happy face that was helped with the fact he was currently a bit drunk.

“Well today, myself and my dog will be singing for you a little shanty called “Junji, We Hardly Knew Ya!” About a pirate who was taken by the seas at a very early age. I hope you enjoy.” He said lowly as he nodded for the music to finally start.

Silence would then again fill the stage and café. Slowly over this silence the cords of a guitar could be heard, carefully and quietly strumming away. It was a sweet tone that made it seem like this song would be a kind and soft ballad. Maybe a song to quietly lament the death of this “Junji.” How wrong they were. However as the strumming disappeared, on the same guitar the chords started to be picked at instead of being strummed. This was went Hissori finally opened his mouth and sang.

“While on the raod to sweet Aithy, Hurroo, Hurroo
While on the road to sweet Aithy, Hurroo, Hurroo
While on the road to sweet Aithy
A stick in the hand, a drop in the eye
A doleful damsel I did cry,
Junji we hardly knew ya!”

Hissori’s sang. Even with the slow and meaningful sound of the lyric, Hissori voice was not at his best. It seemed shaky, and slightly rushed. He seemed off, maybe it was a fact the eighteen year old was off beat by tenth of a beat. His voice was shaky too, it was amateur. However, after his final word, the song seemed to die down. Was that the end? Nope.

In a ruckus the whole band seemed too picked up. Everything was there, a lead guitar, a bass, loud drums. Everything. It was this moment that the tone of the song was going to be revealed. The ruckus beat, and rather shanty tone, made it seem like this song was more of a happy recall back to the memories of a fallen sailor. As Hissori opened his mouth and began to sand again.

“Where are the eyes that look so mild, hurroo, hurroo.
Where are the eyes that looked so mild, hurroo, hurroo
Where are the eyes that looked so mild,

Why did yah run from me and the child
Junji, I hardly knew Ya!”

As the seconds flew by something different and maybe strange began to happen. With the end of each line, another voice joined Hissori progressively steady voice. This voice was that of Buru. With each Hurroo, Hurroo, Buru howled, and it almost sounded like he was actually saying the words in the song. His howls sounded like the word that Hissori was singing.

For Hissori himself, the tone and tenor of the song seemed to be doing him a favor. His voice sounded stronger and more confident with the strong beats under him. Not only did he sound like he knew what he was singing, but it seemed like he could even sound good when he sang. As the chorus would start, Hissori would open his mouth and sing again.

“With your drums and swords and swords and drums, hurro, hurro
With your drums and swords and swords and drums, hurro, hurro
With your drums and swords, and swords and swords, and drums
The enemy nearly slew ya!
Junji I hardly knew ya!

The chorus was a quick one, and one that Hissori knew well. While he was at sea, Hissori knew this chorus all to well. On the ship he traveled on the song was often sung by the seamen. Even Hissori and Buru would get in on the act singing it just like he was now. In between the roll of the drums, HIssori took a deep breath to ready himself for singing.

When you went to carry a sword

Now in full swing, Hissori head was right above the microphone. Breathing into it as he leaned onto it for support singing his doggish heart out. Even Buru was swaying back and forth as he howled along to the lyrics that he knew how to say. His tail was thumping onto the stage with the beat, as he moved back and forth his muzzle pointed towards the ceiling. However, there was no break for Hissori to notice this as he idmediately went to sing the chorus.

“With your drums and swords and swords and drums, hurro, hurro
With your drums and swords and swords and drums, hurro, hurro
With your drums and swords, and swords and swords, and drums
The enemy nearly slew ya!
Junji I hardly knew ya!

Now as the chorus finished he would take a breath. Sweat was starting to form on his brow as he tried to keep up physically with the tempo and energy of the song. It wasn’t that he was getting tired, no. It was the fact that with the alcohol in him, and with the hot stage life beaming down over him, Hissori was starting to sweat. For a brief moment, Hissori looked up from the mic. His emerald green eyes looked out on the crowd between some of his strawberry blonde locks. There was a break now for Hissori to actually look out at them as he was able to catch his breath. But for the boy it seemed to end way too quickly. Quickly, Hissori broke eye contract with whoever he was looking at and went back to singing.

“Ya haven’t an arm, ya haven’t a leg, hurroo, hurroo
Ya haven’t an arm, ya haven’t a leg, hurroo, hurroo
Ya haven’t an arm, ya haven’t a leg

Hissori sung now with fervor as the song started to talk about this Junji character was multiated. Even if he did live, the lyrics seemed like this Junji would no longer have a good life, as he would be forced to beg. Maybe this would signal the end of the song, or at least the climax of the song, but instead the chorus came swinging back in again.

“With your drums and swords and swords and drums, hurro, hurro
With your drums and swords and swords and drums, hurro, hurro
With your drums and swords, and swords and swords, and drums
The enemy nearly slew ya!
Junji I hardly knew ya!

It was at this point, the loud drumming stopped and all the ruckus went away. Again, solemnness overtook the karaoke stage, and Hissori himself looked a bit let down and sad. Maybe he was thinking about all the shinobi he treated who were like this Junji. Maybe he was thinking of his village, that had been destroyed. Maybe he was thinking of a lot of things right now to give the young face a look of such resign. Opening the mouth, he finished the song.

“I’m happy for to see ya home, hurroo, hurro
I’m happy for to see ya home, hurroo, hurroo
Im happy for to see ya home
From the isles of Kirigakure
Junji, we hardly knew yah!”

With that last reference to his fallen village, the music paused a bit before it exploded in the happy wild tone any sea shanty should end.

As the last tones of the ‘ya’ ended, the song came to an end. It was at that moment that both Buru and Hissori stood there looking out. Nervous, wondering if he did good? At least, Hissori had not been through out of the bar yet, and even if this song took forever to come out Hissori was happy with himself.

“Um… have a good night.” The young man with the island accent said as he slowly made his way back to his seat. Hopefully someone told him good job, or something.

Roleplay: Ii Hissori nodded a bit. Exploding the wood was something very easy to do, but that could be learned some other time. Today, Today was just about the basics. With a nod of his head and a words that would tell them, “off you go.” Hissori and Buru would watch them.

Going around to both of them. He would adjust their bodies. Touching them, he would help them get into a better, and stronger. None of them were awful, but it seemed as if Chi was standing to narrow at her base. He would lift her arms up a bit so her face was better protected. For Hayato, his had to also adjust his base, but also make sure that each time he was punching in the proper form to not hurt his hand.

“Hayato. Make sure your thumb is under your knuckles when you punch. Otherwise, you will break your hand if you ever make solid contact with a true opponent.” He said before stopping and looking at them.

“Okay guys, for the final part of this class. You will be learning to actually learn how to dodge this technique. It is actually even simpler than doing it. It is a movement calling ‘Slipping.’ Slipping is when your body moves from the punch before it is thrown. This can also be bobbing and weaving. It is a great way to stay in shape.” He said as he smiled.

“Chi, why don’t you try and hit me?” He asked as he watched her. When she would come up to try and hit him, Ii Hissori would demonstrate how it would work, dodging the attacks with this practice.

“Now I know this will be hard for you, But you guys need to practice it.” He said after catching his breath.

“Go try that and you are good to go.” He told them with a smile.
