Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Ziren found himself at the Konoha Byoin doors. It has been a long while since he has been here. Since he now rarely ever gets hurt or injured, but even if he does, his own healing capabilities can fix up his body with ease, except for... He looked down to where he left metal arm was. It has been like that for more than a month, but it still feels weird. Unknown to him. No blood ran through there, because that arm is man made.

Today, Ziren wore a white shirt with black jeans. His bloodified eyes scanned the area. His ears listening to all of the blood flow in here. He could tell by how fast the blood is moving in each person here that they are all in edge, from what has been said about the Frost Ninja. Why was he here? Well as a Chigokai, a blood user, he could help out with the patients here.

A lot of people need different types of blood, and he knows exactly what he has in order to help them out. He walked up the the secretary's desk.

"Chigokai Ziren. I have no appointment, but I wish to donate some blood to the hospital, so that they can give it to those who need it most."

Manipulation in the art of crimson waters and the identification of an individuals type were two different spectrum's; meaning being able to control the very existence didn't make it universal in a medical standpoint - however that would be grand! The Medical Sennin rounds the bend in the corridor, hastily removing a teal scrub coat, a more than eager faceless takes the liberty of neatly folding the garments and in return the kunoichi ruffles the hair of the youth. "You know I do not wish for such treatment, no one is above another, yet you have my full gratitude." she murmurs in a kind tone. In turn the faceless lad would salute Mikasa and in turn she responds in kind.

"Oh, Ziren-kun!" she nearly bumps into the Chigokai shinobi, eyeing him, "I hope this visit isn't about your child, I pray your newborn is in good health?" she inquires in a sincere tone, not knowing of the outcome. Pausing momentarily she listens to the full extent of the meaning behind the visitation and within a moment she beckons for the young man to follow. Heading closer towards the entrance to the Byoin, the Sennin veers sharply to the left to a plain room with a medical table for him to take a sit. Conviently located edge of the room, on another tabletop, was orange juice in pitches with copious amounts of ice cubes and sweets. The sweets in question mostly odd cookie creations.

Gesturing once more for him to take a seat, she begins to wash her hands diligently, "We are always in need of additional donors, you would be amazed with the amount of transfusions we go through. I am glad to see you have a change of heart." she comments in a joking manner and to ensure there was no misunderstanding she pauses briefly, "I am kidding, also was a good pun, no? But I do hope you realize why I didn't wish to in the past and how silly the notion was at the time."

Ziren turned around, hearing Mikasa, he nearly had to dodge out of the way when she almost bumped into him.

She had first asked him about his children. He remembered Hana. He had already made sure that her and the twins made it to safety already by walking them to the Bunkers, as some of the other villagers have already done. Ziren, on the other hand, will be staying behind, to deal with the Frost Ninja.

"No it isn't, my twin babies are in perfect health, thank you for asking."

He then told her of why he was here. "I am here to donate some blood. And no need to worry about what kind of blood I have. It is O-negative if you are wondering." He sat down and listened as the Sennin talked, smiling a bit as she had made a joke. An inside joke that not a lot of people would know about. It all started when he learned who he was, and wanted to train his blood line without actually using blood of a living being.

"Yeah, you all are in need of blood, especially now with..." Ziren trailed off. This is certainly not the proper place to be discussing about the enemy, especially since everyone is so tense here. From hearing a lot of people's blood flow, not a lot of people will make it.

Ziren gave a brief smile and said, "Yeah, funny joke. And of course I understand now, back then I was scared of who I was. Didn't know if I could control my blood line. But now it is different."

He stopped as he brought out his right arm, not the metal arm, for the Medical Sennin to find a vein. "I understand that especially times like these are going to be tough. And I already have orders set out of where I need to be. But if you really need to, I can help out with the relief efforts after it is all done and over with. Though I did make a promise to one of the previous Hokage to visit them, I'll see what I can do to help out. Do both in a sense." Ziren had said this part in a whisper, as to make sure nobody heard them so that they won't get more tense than they already are around this place.

Retrieving a standard alcohol swap, the Medical Sennin places the cool cloth against the arm flesh of Ziren; silently wiping downwards in repetitive strokes. "I would great appreciate additional efforts, Ziren-kun." she murmurs in a tender tone. Extending her digits outwards she grasps of a crimson spongy ball, placing it into the palm of the Genin, "When I give the signal, begin squeezing - once the needle is set up." Mikasa explains between his words, being careful to not interrupt.

Returning her attention to the per usual standard setup of a sterile needle and collection plastic-like sack, she hover the needle above the pale flesh, "You will feel a slight pinch." she notifies the shinobi, though this pain was more than likely batting an eye in the realm they tread within. With the slightest of movements and a faint click, a trickle of vibrant red streamlines through the tube to the collection device, "Begin squeezing, please." she notifies the Chigokai who could very well speed the process due to his own natural control. Speaking of which, "It is a shame you decided to go the ANBU route initially, ZIren-kun. It is rare to have one capable of controlling blood and being able to cease a comrades outwardly flow through a wound could very well give one ample time to receive additional aid." she begins in a faint murmur, attempting to relax the younger male.

Ironically enough she continued to use the wrong honorific, considering he was no longer a child, but a father of pair. "The village is a family, but the Medical Branch takes care of everyone. You above all else understand the importance of family, do you not Ziren-san?" the kunoichi inquires lightly. "Times will be tough, I downheartedly agree. If you really wished to provide aid, then you would consider joining the Medical Corporation - your current skills would place you at a Chuunin equivalent position." a brief pause, Keep squeezing." she comments, "If you would be interested, that is." Ocean hues glance upwards against his own, awaiting for any sort of reaction.

Ziren did as he was told and held the little red ball in his hand as she told him what to do with it. Within seconds, she inserted the needle and blood went into a separate holding bag. He kept squeezing the red ball, or what he thinks of as a stress ball, then she brought up about him being part of the ANBU.

"It didn't work out for me... I had an argument with the Hokage, and for the heated words said, I was reduced to academy student, I trained under Kenshin for s few days before being turned to a Genin once more. No other add on than just a Genin." There was a bit of sadness in his voice. He liked to be back in the ANBU ranks again, but with how things went in the past, he couldn't blame Maki and some of the higher ups for denying him back in.

He kept squeezing as Mikasa kept on talking, about family, and how the Medical branch takes care of everyone. Then she had said to him that they could really use a guy like him for the Medical branch. Ziren looked at Mikasa in surprise. In that moment, he forgot to squeeze the ball. And then he was told to keep squeezing the ball.

"Thank you for the offer Mikasa, but I do have a question. At times, some people see me devoid of emotions, and other times it may seem like I have too much. That, along with a certain new power that I possess, of controlling the dead, how could I be of use?" Then he said, in the smallest of whispers so that only her and him would hear this, to not scare anyone else.

"I am a dark sage. How would I be of help with knowing I have this particular kind of kinjustu?"

Mikasa found herself unable to take the inquiry seriously, the kunoichi's azure eyes merely stare into the Chigokai's for a few awkward moments of silence. Determining that Ziren were serious, her index and middle digit cling together to press against the forehead of the father. "We all struggle with controlling our emotions and not wearing them on our exposed chest, but the more experience you gain the more you will learn when it is needed to showcase versus when to contain. I believe you merely haven't found a balance point." the Sennin comments in a similar volume of the donor.

"Furthermore, I already highlighted your perks, being able to control the flow of blood on the battle field is crucial to the survival of your allies. Merely stumbling across the capability of utilizing corpses doesn't diminish any of the previous. In fact, finding one who can perform autopsies on a full stomach is a rarity in itself. You scream medical profession, but you are naive on a single item, Ziren-san." the maiden begins to explain, becoming quite serious. There would be a brief pause in her statement once more, allowing herself to check the blood flow and the overall container level - about half way.

Shifting her gaze towards the 'stress ball' she would glance between the shinobi and the crimson spongy material several times as an indicator to continue. "I am unsure of what you are insinuating with the label of 'Dark Sage'. That is not a defining item. What defines you as a person is the actions you take when times are tough and hope begins to diminish. Do you understand, Ziren-san?" Mikasa leans forward on the stool, "Come under my wing and learn to soar once more. There is more to this world that neither of us have yet to view."

Ow, was when he thought when Mikasa flicked his forehead. Though it didn't really hurt, just kind of surprised him. She then went on and told him of how everyone struggles with emotions. That, along with praising how he could be a great Medical Ninja, even as far as how him being a dark sage will help out.

Then she went on and talked about how being a dark sage means nothing as a person as a whole. Ziren smiled, well at least he knows that there are people out there that don't just judge others if they hesr that said person is a dark sage.

Then she had went on to talk about how Ziren to be taken under her wing, of to learn to better himself.

Ziren nodded. He was willing to do this. "Yes. Mikasa, I will not let you down on this, I promise you. But I've a request. To still be where I am stationed at of with my squad to help out with this upcoming battle to take place. They will need a medical ninja there."

A thin smile is given towards Ziren, Mikasa held a firm belief that all within Konohagakure required. Withdrawing the needle, the Sennin is swift to cover the minor wound with a gauze and a band aid is applied. "Don't heed the bear image, we are running low!" she insists with a chuckle, withdrawing to the corner of the room to begin rummaging through a stand up cabinet. Several oddities are scattered on the ground before returning with a neatly folded ivory coat to be presented to the Chigokai shinobi. "I have no qualms with your request, Ziren-san. Effective immediately you are a member of the Konohagakure Medical Corporation as a Chuunin equivalent medical personal. Further studies will be required of you and sessions for additional medical techniques will commence in the days to come."

Handing over his new medical attire she beams, "This suits you more." a pause, Not to worry, Kenshin-san will understand. I will handle all the formalities." she insists, retrieving the crimson sponge stress ball. "I will brief you on potential research opportunities when our current situation is resolved in the village. Let us get to work, Ziren-san. There is much to do!" she murmurs before heading towards the doorway, handing off the donation to the appropriate handler.

Gesturing towards the orange juice and sweets at his side, "Please, help yourself before leaving. I have to go tidy up a space for your new office, it may be petite initially, but we can discuss that later. Welcome home, Ziren-san." she remarks before heading out of the room, a pep in her step and on another mission entirely to prove the words of Tamashii wrong. She was not another numerical value in the system and Mikasa's mental removing another small weight as another joins.

Seeing the Medical Sennin smile at his answer, he watched as Mikasa went through a cabinet and presented him with an ivory colored coat. Ziren put it on, while listening to what his new boss had to say. Studies. Something that he has grown used to doing, something he has done all of his life, especially to learn more about his own blood line and the powers of a dark sage.

"I won't you down on this Mikasa. Studying is my middle name." He said that as a joke, but he was also truthful about what he had said. He wondered what research was needed after this whole conflict was over. Heck, it might even be blood related, as he is adept at blood and all.

He grabbed a small orange juice box and drank from it before heading out. He needed to visit the library once more. To get ahead of his studies of what was needed for the times to come.

Ziren will especially focus on battle wounds for right now, seeing as there was a great battle to begin. With the knowledge he will about to aquire, he will effectively reduce the amount of casualties and injuries of the Leaf shinobi.
