Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kasure was ready to book it and get out. Whether or not if he was going to try and get into the estate like Roku or Jin'ichi would not be explored at this moment in time. The empath would be stuck holding the bag as insults cleaved far more than flesh, they cleaved at the ego of the puppeteer who did not take kindly to the insult. It got very personal with her and such was evidence by the change in posture. The lead Guardsman again span his pike around. While he was indeed injured it seemed like he was ready to continue this match. The man grinned as he heard her repeat what he had said. "That's right. Toys. Cheap plastic toys." He egged her on seeming hoping he could get her to do something stupid. Unfortunately the puppeteer would do no such thing, she kept at range and began to further her numbers. More insect clones were made and her puppets began to look all the more frightful. Some of the guards squealed at the sight of these monsterous puppets, it certainly didn't help that their very digits were knives. She opened fire upon them and at least a quarter of the guards were running away. The lead guardsman issued death threats as he told them to stand their ground against such toys. Those who stood their ground began to twirl their pikes in an attempt to deflect the barrage.

Only the head guardsman was successful in their defensive attempt to deflect the attacks. The others were on the ground clamouring about having lost their sight. "Useless." He growled. The next volley that came his way by of the hornet puppet did not go exactly as planned. Again he span the pike about trying to block attacks, but this time there was a flaw in his defense and that flaw proved to be his downfall. The head guardsman was stabbed by kunai and was indeed poisioned. The other guards who were already on the floor who were blinded were not so lucky as could not defend themselves and were far more open to the attack. "Tch." The leader growled as he knew that he had been bested. He spat at the ground. "Stupid kids." One final insult before he landed face first into the pavements, driving the kunai only deeper into his body. One would assume he was most likely dead from this encounter.

The way to the estate was now open if it wasn't for the fact now that standing on top of the gate was the replacement for the lead guardsman. A single woman stood present. Her eyes narrowed at the pair of Suna nin. She looked directly at Kumomi seeing past the clones. The woman wore black leathers and sported a domino mask. "Good help and competent men are so hard to find these days." Her voice was husky. Seemingly she was unarmed, but she did make it to the gate quickly and unnoticed, until now that was. "I do love failures." She spoke cryptically. She held her hands out and began to wiggle her fingers. The bodies of the guards were beginning to twitch.

Roku continued to trek through the sewers. If he looked closely at the sword he would see the family symbol of the Fukui clan on a knob that was the pommel of the sword. The sigil was clearly intact. All the more evidence of the forging prowess of the Fukui family. There was something very eiree about pulling the sword from the skull. Roku for a moment would feel a most unnatural chill go down his spine. The corpse would hit the ground and the skull would roll away from Roku. The arm would land and most curiously point away from the estate. Was this the dead person's way of telling him to go away from this. Ominous? Perhaps.

Should Roku continue to go in the opposite way that the hand pointed him to go, which was to the estate he would in time find a dead end. Well, it wasn't a dead end, the only way to go was up. If Roku were to look up he would see a ladder that if lowered from the upstairs would provide the way up. If he squinted his eyes he would indeed see the mechanism required to get the ladder to lower itself. It was about ten meters up. The wall looked difficult to scale, but not impossible for one to do so with the use of chakra. Whichever way Roku decided to take, he would find a landing and there he would find a heavy door. The door would not budge but would require an exceptional use of force in order to break it. If he didn't want to break the door he would notice there was a locking mechanism present. If Roku had brought any tools with him he would perhaps try and pick the lock and try to get in quietly. It would be safe to assume that Roku was going to find himself inside the estate.

***

With the knowledge of the door being locked Jin'ichi would take to searching the drawers of the room. The first set he opened he would find nothing. Absolutely nothing. The second set of drawers he would open would reveal something, clothes. If he were to pick up the fabrics he would notice there were green stains on the clothing. There was no smell curiously. If he were to reveal the dress in its entirety he would see a hole in the stomach area which would be where the green stain was. It would not be out of the realm of reason to think that this green stain was perhaps a poison given the lack of smell. The hole was very finely cut. The next drawer would require some effort to open. Once enough force was applied Jin'ichi would be subjected to the smell of perfumes. Strangely this drawer was sealed tactfully. He would find four perfume bottles, and then a black bottle with crossbones on it. Poison? For who though? If Jin'ichi held the bottle to the light he would see that the bottle was empty. While Jin'ichi had his gift to smell things out, he would not feel right in the slightest. The scent was sickly sweet, but he would fill a chill going down his spine. His gut was telling him to be very very careful if he was to try and open the next drawer. To make things worse, Jin'ichi would feel a sinking feeling coming from the direction where the gate was. Something or someone was there and that person was certainly most unnerving.

Jin'ichi if he so desired could try and break the lock in the door and make his way down the hallway. He had two directions, left and fight. Either way he would find more rooms to investigate should he so desire. He merely need to choose one of four doors. One to the left, and three to the right. He would not sense any danger in the hallway, but he would seem something foul coming from the right but it would be at the end of the hallway and he would have to take another left.

For both of us to meet our own personal triggers... Kaz sighed, and let the puppeteer have her way. She seemingly dispatched all of her enemies with ease, though in fairness Kaz had been trying to keep them alive. Mostly. As the new female threat appeared a slight crease appeared in the Genins forehead, something about this one felt off, askew. This is getting more dangerous. I think we might need to end this fight quickly. Kaz rushed at her, noticing the bodies twitching as he did so. Corpse puppets, I guess nothing is sacred after all. Kaz felt into the core of his being the stubbornness which kept him in the fight, and held onto it. His first strike from a solid stance which would allow counter attacks, a form of pride and defiance against the odds. His form would then shift into pure aggression as he would attack once leaving just enough time for her to react before using the same one two combo that he had started the fight with. Each attack made his muscles burn as he overloaded them with chakra. His flesh was visibly smoking at the end of this stream of blows, and it would be clear that he was close to unconsciousness, he estimated that he wouldn't take her down in these attacks, but at least he might give Kumomi the opening she needed to do something nasty. Backing up he fell to his knees next to the Med-nin, he would then slowly raise his hand out in front of him, palm open and smile.

"That was your warning. I suggest you don't make me go all out."

After Kumomi had finished her attacks, a barrier technique would appear around the pair, a screen of white which keep them temporarily safe.

"We have a few seconds. Get ready for a storm."

Emotion Barrier - Independent Special Move
These shinobi are attuned to their inner feelings, and as such they are easily capable of forming strong bonds of attachment with others. At time’s, there is little that is stronger than their intense desire to protect other's, and they are able to create a visible form of their desire to protect in the form of a barrier. Though this energy is not chakra as it may appear, but rather a portion of the user’s own life force sacrificed for the well being of others.
Effect: User is able to use up to 10% of their Max HP to create a barrier around themselves and others. This used HP cannot be recovered while the barrier is in effect. Healing jutsu used within the barrier gain +25% effectiveness; Genjutsu cannot be cast through the barrier. The barrier lasts three rounds or until the HP is depleted. If the barrier drops with any HP left in it, this HP is returned to the user. Usable three times a battle. Costs 1 AP.

Kumomi watched as her foes fell before her. She had a slight grin, the idea of eliminating the enemy always kept her spirits high. This was until a new foe appeared. The kunoichi thought nothing of her at first but the moment she detected corpse puppets her eyes with filled with curiosity. She needed to know how. She needed to understand how this woman as able to control other humans. Was she in fact controlling them with the puppet jutsu or was she merely resurrecting them? If the guards hadn't actually died was she merely using a long range medical ninjutsu? The possibilities kept running through her mind. The hornet puppets in the air all fell to the ground, void of chakra as the kunoichi stepped forward. Her eyes examining every small motion.

"but how...?"

Her voice was soft and she was almost lost in a trance when her ally would snap her back into reality. The attack on the woman would help Kumomi realize that she was still in fact in a battle. Snapping her fingers back out to the hornets she quickly deconstructed the super puppets back into their traditional setting of the Mosquitoes, Beetles, and Wasps. She jumped back sending her clones towards the enemy. As each clone supported behind Kaz they would continue his combos, but they would disperse upon each successful hit. Noticing the visible damage done onto Kaz's body from his own attacks the girl would send the Vital Wave jutsu through her slug puppet to help restore his strength. From behind the barrier she calmly spoke to the woman.

"You there woman, I know you are still capable of speaking to us. What is the technique you are using on the guardsmen? Is it puppetry? Tell me now!"

((OoC: Kept it basic, I felt like Kumomi was kinda becoming OP for her actual rank and stats... so just a Tool Shift back into normal Puppets and a Vital Wave on Kaz))

It seemed the skeleton would attempt to warn him not to continue down the path he was going to start traveling.

"I ain't afraid of no skeleton."

He would continue to move down the pathway. He had a few moments to travel before it would become clear what he would need to do, so it was time to start making some mental prep on the task ahead.

Ok, so what I need to do; get in, find the dude, get the dude, get out, find the young'ns, get the young'ns out of here, make it back to Suna with everyone. Well that doesn't seem like that much work right? But what am I missing; I don't know the forces inside the estate, I don't know the current situation in the estate, I don't know if the dude is still alive, I don't know why that corpse was mutilated like that... ok, so that is not as positive. It would seem that something no kosher is happening here; the colors were different. Those guards didn't seem to care about our task, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume they were working against this house. The person back their was slaughtered and had limbs removed and a hole in a chest, half of that seemed counterproductive if they were just hoping to torture him. So why remove the parts? Cannibals? Were the parts being used for something else. A heart transplant sounds like something that makes sense, but removing limbs? Do those transplant? I can manipulate dirt if I wanted... so maybe I shouldn't put it past that someone could be running around with multiple arms and legs from dead people. Seems stupid.

He would come a screeching halt as he approached the dead end. Scanning around, he would notice a faint sight of a ladder up above him.

"Of course..."

With a sign he would begin to focus chakra into the base of his feet giving him the ability to stick to the surface of the wall. While this was a basic task for someone who progresses through the academy, the task of climbing the distance was not going to make it all that easy. With a sigh he would latch himself up the side of the wall and, at first, slowly start to make his way up. The more he analyzed the height, the more apparent it would become that he was being asked to traverse up a three story building. Not wanting to worry to much about this minor convenience, he would increase his speed running up the wall. This would require much more skill and concentration as his chakra and increase physical exhertion could not balance out and send him either falling down or pushing off the wall like a bullet. Neither of those sounded all that exciting so he would press onward as quickly as he reasonably could until making it close enough to the ladder that he could push off the wall, reach out and take old of the base of the ladder. Pulling himself up he would let out another sigh, he had managed to work up more of a sweat than he realized he would have during this portion of the mission. This would undoubtedly ruin his mood, as this was just another inconvenience he experienced. This was not going the way he had hoped it would, which would only add to his frustration.

"Are you kidding me..."

Noticing the large door in front of him, the immediate assumption would be that it would not be open. That was not how this adventure was going, why would it change now. Approaching the door he would attempt to push it open. The slab wouldn't budge an inch. He would then look around until finding the lock.

Oh, I could pick the lock. It wouldn't be all that hard. I am both a miscreant and an ANBU...that shouldn't be all that hard.

He would begin to fiddle through his belonging looking for some tools that would assist.

Or.... I could punch this piece of crap right off the hinges.

His eyes would raise up to the door as he found himself in a crossroads.

Punch? Pick? Punch? Pick? Be a ninja? Be a badass?

He would sigh once more as his mind and heart both knew what they wanted to do, and ultimately what he should do. With the chaos going on outside and the uncertainty of what awaited inside, it would probably be safer just to pick the lock. Finding his picking tools, tools Kasha (ANBU alterego) would use on his nightly runs, he would begin the process of disengaging the lock and making his way into the estate. The pins would begin to pop in place, everything seemed to be going smoothly and soon he would be entering... Mother Suna only knew.

The sounds of battle passed reached his sensitive ears, almost making them twitch as the reverberations of metal against metal rang loud in the courtyard. Try as he might, he couldn't ignore the conversation between his supposed comrades and their interlopers. With narrowed eyes he moved from empty drawer, to the one housing emerald stained garments. Though clearly a foreign substance of some sort, it was scentless in a way reminiscent of subtle poisons. Although the slit in the dress' abdomen would imply an assault, there weren't any bloodstains and if washed in an attempt to clear evidence the individual behind the cleanup had failed where the toxin was concerned. Letting the dress slip from his fingers and onto the floor he moved to the next drawer, already catching whiff of an unusually sweet aroma from within. Applying a little more strength to his tug at the drawer's handle, he'd cause it to pop open and reveal various perfumes and a bottle of poison.

Cursing under his breath inaudibly, he looked back over his shoulder and out towards the window he entered from moments before. A chill raced up his spine and commanded the hairs on his forearms and the back of his neck to stand at attention. Jin'ichi had a number of undesirable traits, and somehow nervousness had never truly been among them. Unable to shake the feeling that something was terribly off, he looked back towards the final drawer with a glare as though trying to peer inside to no avail. He didn't trust it, and what's more the shivers he experienced came in pulsing waves. Gritting his teeth and turning his gaze down towards his Ninjatō, its blade pristine despite the scratches and scrapes from rough handling. His mission was to find the nobleman and bring him back to Sunagakure, but now he and the other Sand Shinobi were caught in the midst of a war that had obviously been brewing for some time. Their arrival on the scene was clearly incidental, but not quick enough to have obstructed the likely assassination or kidnapping that had taken place. He could feel the air around him change, and the pit of his stomach seemed to sink into itself.

It was as though he'd been pushed from the top of a mountain without warning, and the beating of his heart grew stronger. The sensation that immediately followed was as if the organ had a mind of its own, and threatened with each throb to climb his throat. The scent of ash and scorched tobacco filled his nostrils whilst his focus turned inward on his very breath. The taste of menthol still lingered on his tongue, highlighted by the increasing sensory perception stirred by an internal conflict. Clear were the words of the female puppeteer that he'd been assigned to work with, hungrily demanding knowledge. He knew the undertone carried, and the avarice that it represented. She was thirsty for power, and even in the face of danger she would run it down like a mad dog. The vanity of her appearance despite seemingly modest garments whispered of ambitious pride, made certain by the personal offense taken towards the insult to her machinations... Indeed, he had listened with bestial clarity to that verbal squabble as well.

There was an almost overwhelming increase in spiritual pressure due to Kasure's fluctuations in energy. The young man was driven by much more than the task of completing his mission. Jin'ichi would take several steps out from the darkness and the gentle illumination of candlelight, now standing in clear view at the open window. Crimson irises pulsed once with a vibrant glow, followed by the baring of pointed cuspids when agitated lips pulled themselves apart. Witnessing the steam rising from Kasure's strained physique triggered a chain of events that would unlock a sleeping force within the Takahashi clansman. His body, already once having easily absorbed the viral spirit of the Cursed Seal devouring Makeinu, lost what little stability it ever had. The demonic Chakras taken into his own system infected his cells, and though dormant they fed off Kasure's desire by proximity. His ebony hair would start to turn white, starting from the tips and working their way up in wild streaks. Rather than changing completely, the short tresses remained almost half black and partially snowy.

"This was an easy mission... Which was the only reason I took it in the first place."</COLOR><i></i> He started, the raspy but mild grate of his deep voice barely cracked the surrounding sounds. "Even with this little ambush it could have been handled without a hitch, but nah-"<i></i> He paused, and the anger boiling up inside now showed on his face. "You stupid fuckin' kids had to make this about you!" Now his voice boomed across the courtyard, sound waves visibly distorting the now visible flame-like but colorless energy that flickered about his form. The air around him moved in waves, like a mirage in the desert heat, the only clear depiction of his now unruly Chakra. "If you brats had waited on Roku's orders in the first place or we'd have stuck together, we could have bowled over these morons and found Shino by now! Instead, he leaves me in charge of you two egotistical little worms! Then runs off at the speed of life to fuck knows where!"<i></i> He was absolutely livid, and though he tried to change his ways by playing it cool and trying to detach from the situation his conscience got the better of him. There was absolutely no way he was going to let them lose their lives after Roku made them his responsibility.

Even with the weight of their lives on his shoulders, the focus would never be on himself. Whatever Fukui Shino had gotten himself involved in was his own fault, and like all noblemen and business moguls he used coin to pull others into it unwittingly or not. The truth was that Jin'ichi couldn't care less what happened to some Merchant Lord, and doubted the ability of the man to help Sunagakure if he had let himself fall prey to such extent in the first place. Both of his comrades were worth more to the village alive than dead, and it was doubtful they'd exercise caution at this point. <COLOR color="red">"Don't let her cut you, she likes to use poison." He'd step back and then leap forward through the air, his blade shimmering in the sunlight to obscure him from sight. A soft thud would signal his inevitable landing in the midst of the corpses, where he crouched with arms crossed as the bodies stirred to unlife. He didn't care whether they were now flesh puppets, zombies, or truly resurrected.

Primal forces now raging within left his appearance more feral and sharp-eyed. The blade across his face drew closer to his nose's bridge as his muscles tightened, forcefully constricting his muscles as they grew taut with Chakra, strengthening his grip. Launching himself forward, he'd kick up a small cloud of dust as he barreled through space towards the center of two raising guards. As though he knew exactly how many rotations his launched would cause him to do, Jin'ichi kicked out his right leg and smashed his shin against the helmeted skull of one body launching it towards the woman. Continuing to roll through the air, he tucked the right leg and kicked out the left, repeating the same process sending the second guard like a missile at the same target. He'd land in a crouch with one hand flat on the ground and the other holding his sword behind and across his waist. The rumbling of a constant and low growl overflowed from his clenched teeth. Quickly pulling his hand from beneath him, removing its support. His hair hung back for a moment as he fell forward and quickly blurred ahead, dashing towards the Mysterious Woman and swinging his blade twice in mirrored slashes aimed at her torso. He'd be taking full advantage of the situation left behind by Kumomi and Kasure's previous onslaught, giving this woman a chance for anything but defeat wasn't an option.

This new devilry, this new adversary was not amused by Kumomi's demands. She licked her lips all the same though. Curiously her tongue was green. She could tell she got herself into the mind of her foes. Her little trick of making the bodies twitch. Oh. She could do more than just that. They were going to see it. Kasure was the first to throw down against her. Her threw a punch at her. She raised her hand and catch the punch. The hand that had caught the punch was skeletal. Kasure could feel his punch being met with equal force. The hand while skeletal gripped his own hand. The woman leered at him, "You're not a gentleman now are you? You want to get this close and personal? You don't even want to buy a girl a drink?" The woman did not calculate the follow up attack as Kasure punched her in her almost too perfect face leaving a mark. The follow up attacks from the clones did not even connect. Curiously the clones were frozen mid air. The clones were being challenged by a green mist that held them in place. What Kasure would find next was that the corpses that were twitching earlier and shambled up and two of the dead guards had grabbed him by the ankle. They proceeded to drag him down as the others were getting up and making their way over to him. The guards in some sort of slurred speech were saying 'protect the lovely' over and over. In death it seemed that they moved all the quicker to protect the lovely. "I'd like to see you go all out. It might be delightful." She let go of Kasure's hand and watched him be pulled down by the zombies. The zombies though seemed to have a hard time in trying to bring Kasure down. While they had gained speed, it seemed like their strength had detortiated as it took the bulk of them to pull him down. The good thing was that they seemed to lack the intellect to pick up their pikes. They took to punching Kasure.

Kumomi demanded to know how the woman had orchestrated this scene. The woman seemed to ignore her for a moment as it seemed that Kasure's wounds and bruises were lessen from the pummeling he was being given. "Well. That's disappointing." She sucked on her index finger as she looked across to Kumomi. "Not. Even. Worthy. Of. An. Answer." Why should she explain her secrets? The child was in no place to make a demand at all. Just some little girl with dolls and bugs. A curious combo nonetheless. The woman looked at the two clones and shook her head. "Oh. Those are yours? Oh. Looks like my reinforcement has arrived. He's just being lazy and show casing himself." The two Suna nin were joined Jin'ichi who caught the attention of the woman. She turned around to try and pinpoint him. Looks like someone had gotten in. She heard him made the remark about poision. "Oh. Stupid." She shook her head and sighed. "Toxman you've blown your cover again. Do you really like having kids just find out yourself secrets so easily?" She called out seeming to nothing. She turned her head to the floating bug clones who were still trapped encased by a green gas. "TOXMAN GET YOUR FAT ASS OUT HERE. REVEAL YOURSELF." She lost her cool for a moment calling out to an absent friend. "PUT YOURSELF TOGETHER MAN." She roared again. Jin'ichi during this time period closed the distance. He took to the zombie guards. He was tearing into them and disrupting the pummeling that Kasure was being subjected to. Both of the corpse soliders were sent her way. She dodged the first, but the second caused her to lose her balance as she stood on the gate. She leaned forward and landed on her feet. The woman shook her head as she was trying to deal with the fact she had been knocked off her pedestal. Jini'chi then came at her with his ninjato the woman revealed her forearms which were both skeletal. Jini'ichi aimed at her torso, the first attack cracked against her forearms which did not break. The second attack did manage to cut through her leather armour. "Now now. I can't let you see the goods. Not yet." She made a gesture and three of the zombie guards would attempt to dog pile onto Jin'ichi which would take the pressure off of Kasure. The woman would attempt a round house kick to his chest to push him away from her to get some distance back.

The insect clones would finally be dropped and the green gas would circle around the woman and then began to gather up and form a body beside her. The body was ... certainly not at all what one could call a model's body. Flesh clumps seemed to form from the gas as it transformed. The body formed was almost humanoid. There were two pudgey arms, and two pudgey legs. There was no head. This new foe seemed most inhuman. Teeth formed in the lower belly and formed a smile. Two eyes would open up in the upper chest area and a knife nose would poke out of the solar plexus. What was perhaps the worst part was that the mouth was slobbering and gutteral words came out. "TOXMAN HATH ARRIVED. I AM MOST GLAD YOU FOUND THE POISION. PRAY TELL ME ART THOU A CHEMIST?" There was eloquence in the words spoke which was most frightful given the monstrous appearance of the man, was it even a man? The voice was masculine. The fatty arms slapped the sides of the belly. Noxious fumes would begin to pour out of the mouth. The smell was revolting. If inhaled, the team would see multiples of Toxman and the mysterious woman appear. (I will use a d3 to determine if you successfully hit Toxmam and mystery lady, the roll will be pending what you use, so if you use a multiple hitting jutsu, I will roll in accordance with that)

Roku would take a more stealthy approach with some luck the lock managed to open finally. It was most likely a headache inducing thing. Roku would push the door open and find himself looking down a long hallway. There was most curiously a gate at the end of the hallway If he squinted his eyes hard enough he would see rapid flash movements. There seemed to be fighting going on. If Roku were to make his way towards the gates he would hear the sounds of metal meeting metal. A duel? Roku could hear the cries of a man calling out. He was pleading. "Please! Make it stop! Stop them! I beg you! This is my family you're doing this do! Please punish me, not them!" Roku would find himself watching a gladiatorial match going on. There were three bodies bleeding, but whether or not they were dead had yet to be discovered. The combatants were women armed with little more than leathers and weapons.

If Roku were to look up, he would find Shino tearing his hair out and sobbing. Sitting beside him was a large man who was of seemingly orange skin. He was tattooed heavily and drinking from a horn. The man wore an eye patch and was laughing loudly and making unpleasant remarks about the women fighting. "Ooho. I do love this. Your family fights so terrible, it makes me laugh." He broke out into a fit of laughter. He slapped Shino across the back so hard that the merchant was sent flying forward off his chair. "Get up man. You should watch your sister decapitate her cousin. It'll be great." If Roku wanted in, he would need to lift the gate open. Doing so would be very loud and potentially problematic. He would have to act quickly though, given what the orange man would say, "Hey. Lass. Chop er head off. Do it. Let's see your brother's face. This is going to be a hoot."

And thats zombies. As he was dragged back by the corpses Kaz took a moment to reflect on this new occurrence, perhaps just this once it was ok to scream like a little girl. But then I guess I'd get a reputation... Instead he sighed forming hand seals, a copy of himself would move cautiously towards green tongue and mr blobby. Then he would fall into one of the corpses and hopefully drag them underground with him to keep the wierdos off him. I am learning to be less noble. I guess maybe this is more ninja like. Still I guess my comrades will need my help soon enough.

Kumomi was furious, how dare this woman treat her like a child. She was going to wipe that grin off of her face. A devilish grin started to develop on the girl's mug as she watched her two comrades engage the woman and the gaseous monster. A chuckle came from under her breath. She was going to go all out! Quickly pulling her hands up to her chest, thousands of chakra strings would glisten slightly to send chakra to her puppets' cores to rewrite what they were going to do. They began the attack. Orange sludge seemed to come out of nowhere as a the Wasps were now coated in a different poison, Plextism. The wasps would begin to swarm around the woman and the fog monster, trying to draw their attention. With a quick snap the Nano-Mosquito swarm would dart in from below and up towards their faces. Kumomi was learning different styles of mental warfare and one of the methods was the efficient use of distractions. The mosquitos were not the actual attackers, but the wasps were. WIth their Plextism dipped kunai the Nano-Wasps opened up a spray of projectiles, and with the help of the Nano-Mosquitos their attack should be able to hit both of the targets.

As the daggers shot from the sky, Kumomi landed her foot on the ground and sent the earth below the targets into a speedy assault. The Gravel Shift Jutsu she learned as a child allowed for her to not only disturb the aim of her targets but also increase the amount of concentration needed to counter her attacks. Speaking of concentration, Kumomi crossed her arms and quickly tore them apart, causing the Nano-Beetles to fly in every which direction, making it harder to see due to their sheer numbers. The chaotic movement of land and puppets in the air would hopefully open up the enemies to an attack.

As the wasps attacked from the sky and the beetles distracted the view, Kumomi finished her raid with her Nano-Mosquitos. Each mosquito would fly over the zombies and the two more powerful enemies releasing what could be described as a film of oil, but this wouldn't last for long. As the last Mosquitos flew over the enemies sparks would be igniting and catching the oil ablaze. Kumomi switched her posture into a more defensive one trying to reclaim her barrings. Hopefully what she did would be good enough.

Geez, I feel like it will take bathing a week to recover from that stench.

In a past life, Roku would have been more crushed by the concept of taking his precious self through that stink hole. People change, but still that smell was something that was probably going to be burned into his flesh for as long as he lived. He could not, however, dwell on that ultimately minor inconvenience as he had a mission to accomplish. Pulling his headset from his side pouch he would would equip it. Now that he was within the building he needed a way to communicate with the young'ns... with the hope that at least one of them had a headset on hand.

His eyes would begin to scan around his surroundings, attempting to make an assessment on if it would be clear to move forward. Then something caught his attention. The flickering of metal, or at least the reflection of light. At this point noticing a battle was something that wasn't necessarily second nature, but it sure as hell was getting a lot easy to detect. From his distance and the obstructions in front of him it would be hard to confirm but his "oh crap" senses were indeed tingling. Swiftly he would take down the hallway. His side job of ANBU afforded him the unique ability to being able to stealthily move at a great speed, usually in pursuit of another. This was also a fairly common shinobi practice, but within the ANBU corps it was something that is stressed and meticulously worked on until obtaining something that you would consider "perfect". Silently his slender frame would zig zag its way in almost a blur until finally making it close enough to discern the scenario in front of him.

What...

Before his eyes, there would be a scene that would cause his mind to momentarily freeze. The first thing noticed from a sporadic look of everything, in an attempt to take in all before him, would be his priority; the target. Next he would notice the man beside him, who seemed to be enjoying and not welcome. The last set of things he would take in would be the two combatant and the felled bodies. The female's were not particularly good with their battle, but one clearly had the advantage. He would then partially hear the loud unwelcomed man's conversation, which was a boastful bellow, directed towards his target. Roku did not need for this image to be explained further. Everything was there, his mind comprehended the information. His emotions did not. Now for Roku, there is not a lot in this world that could cause him to be upset. His blood lust was something natural, it was inherent, but he would never really consider it anger. For him to be truly angry in battle, combining rage with the instinctual blood lust that crept within him, was something that only one to two people had seen. He had a momentary slip around Sousuke when discovering that one of the Cabal was still alive and roaming the village, but for the most part there was no one alive that had seen him in such a state.

"This is Roku. If you can hear this communication, sense for an increase in chakra. Target located. I am about to go wild. Rendezvous ASAP."

His hope was that at least one of them now not only had a headset but were also able to sense, and track to a degree, chakra. The hands of the Reckless man would latch on to the bottom of the gate, his muscles tensing up and becoming more defined as they entered a flexed state. Without a single thought he would send the large gate, thanks to his Monstrous Strength (doubles effect of Bull's Strength) to rip the metal obstruction up from the ground. His mood would cause him to use too much energy, which would send the gate shooting up higher than needed. While it hung in the air, even for a split second, Roku's body would burst forward at his top speed. His body would appear between the two female combatants as he would unlock one of his Chakra Gates and set off an Aura Burst reaction, which was essentially an explosion of chakra outwards from his body that would be intended to push both females away, with the obvious hope that the standing combatant would be knocked down. His skin, thanks to the opening of the gate, would take on a slight red tint as before. Within his body there was a great power beginning to bubble up. There was also a great rage.

"You..."

tumblr_inline_nbvxrhDUz81rnvza1_zpsh0fvzdkt.gif

With a ferocity of an unhinged animal, Roku's eyes would immediately dart towards the large tattooed man. His red tinted skin would begin to give off a faint appearance of smoke rolling off of him. This was simply a reaction of his body temperature spiking and his sweat turning, essentially, to steam. The body of the man would continue to twitch for a few moments as slightly more definition and mass would begin to appear on his frame.

"...piss me off."

The fun loving spirit within him was gone. There were two emotions, two feeling; a quiet rage and blood lust. Since the Cabal incident, since the loss of his brother, since the disappearance of Sousuke and since the discovery of the one known as Kaito, there was something that had been welling within Roku. That was all about to come rushing forward. The man with the tattoos was who now found them self standing before this tidal wave of hostility. Maybe if he had a better stress relieving strategy things would be different. Hell, this man could possibly be a family friend that the Fukui family did not mind. That, for Roku in this moment, did not matter. Even if his assumption was right and this man was someone who needed to be eliminated, it was far to late. He was marked.

A caged beast was starting to stir.

OOC:
Actions
1. Equipped and used headset to communicate with team if they happen to have a headset
2. Opened gate and rushed between two women
3. Opened Gate (First Gate - Gate of Opening: 5% auto-dodge to all sources)
4. Upon opening gate, used Aura Burst
Aura Burst - B-Rank Unarmed Taijutsu
Image
Activating the inner gates individually is the preferred route for most as it is the "Safest". However, when multiple are activated at once the effects are enhanced; creating a massive influx of power and strength that instantly builds up and explodes outwards from the user. This sudden release of chakra creates a dramatic change in pressure around the area that can be felt by both friend and foe, and disorients all those nearby from the sudden outburst. However activating multiple gates at once dramatically increases the deterioration done to the user's body.

Information
Prerequisites: Hachimon, B-Rank

Rank 1: Upon activation, deals 1,500 Damage to up to 3 people. 5% chance of suppression.
Rank 2: Upon activation, deals 1,875 Damage to up to 3 people. 10% chance of suppression.

Special Action: Instead of causing suppression, this jutsu may, instead, there is a 15% chance to reflect the very next jutsu aimed at the user. This cannot reflect Genjutsu.

Cost: 710 Cp

Notes:
- May only be done upon opening a gate.
- Must specify one is going to do Aura Burst between opening gates.
- This adds the AP of the jutsu to the gate being opened.
- This jutsu targets foe before friend; it targets up to all possible enemies first, then starts targeting friends.
5. Getting angry. Someone may not like me when I get angry.

His senses were focused in all directions, but clung to the woman's presence with ease. The addition of the gaseous subordinate had been duly noted, but it was clear to Jin'ichi whom was in charge. It was after his second slash, the one that graced the woman's body and gently peppered the earth droplets of blood, that he acknowledged Toxman's inquiry. "Not quite." While he never formally studied chemistry, his curmudgeon pursuit of knowledge made outright denying a liar's move. The three zombies would probably collide with one another, engulfed by a cloud of smoke. Jin'ichi was no longer where he had once been, reappearing crouched several feet away. Turning his gaze towards the woman once more, he noted both Kasure's situation and the movements of Kumomi's insectoids.

Steadily rising to his feet, Jin'ichi momentarily closed his eye's and inhaled through his nostrils. The slight visual disturbances in the atmosphere around his body faded away, and his eyes once crimson were now black as wet coals. With sword in right hand, his left moved behind his back and dug into his belt pouch emerging with several spools of wire. Tightening his grip saw that each of the three spools were clutched between a finger. A series of rapid basic strikes utilizing blade's edge, and sleight of hand, would see subtle attempts at binding the woman's limbs. Kumomi's automatons were causing quite the distraction, while delivering toxic strikes of their own. Jin'ichi knew better than to waste a good diversion, and tried to wear down the dominant opponent before Toxman had enough of the sidelines. He could feel the tremendous surge of energy off in the distance, and hear the rumbling as raw strength ripped steel from its hinges. However; he was tied up in a deadly dance with a femme fatale that could very well end his life with ease. It was more risky to try and turn his back on his opponent to go aid Roku, and he was no good to anyone taking a dirt nap. If he could just hinder her movements...

The zombies that were upon Kasure were getting hungry. Some of them had the bright idea to try and eat him. Kasure could hear his clothing tear as the zombies tore his clothing apart, and began to devour his shirt. The former head guardsman let out a moan and threw a punch at Kasure's face. The suna nin's face cracked into pieces. The zombies all let out what was perhaps a moan of surprise. The real Kasure had given them the slip and was now hiding comfortably in the hearth from being further munched on. The zombies then had the bright idea, or rather the alternative of taking a bite out of Jin'ichi. The young man found himself being grappled. Awkwardly some of them grappled him so hard that their fingers fell off. The zombified head guardsman was about to throw a punch at him, but Jin'ichi used the good ole bait and switch. He couldn't travel that far, but now he was standing on top of the mob of zombies who were trying to take a bite out of the log. Some of them managed to bite into the bark, others scraped at it. Jin'ichi was met with a smile coming from the mystery woman. Focusing would be hard for Jin'ichi due to the smell as it was pretty bad. He armed himself with a new weapon. He drew the ninja wire as well and began to rope his weapon with it. He attacked her four times. The first two attacks punctured her arms and hand. The other arm he missed and the foot as well as the gas from Toxman was beginning to wear in on him. Still two out of four weren't bad. The woman was jerked around as he attacked two more times (those being the misses). The mysterious woman though slapped him across the face. Hard. Jin'ichi would feel a burning sensation in his face. Bits of flesh would be seen coming down off his face. The flesh that fell was degenerating quickly. The flesh didn't even hit the ground it decayed into nothingness. She tried to follow up with a forward thrust of the hand attempting to run her hand through his head, but luckily Jin'ichi's senses told him to title his head to the right. "Smart boy." She followed up with a kick which didn't quite work out for her due to the ninjawire it had caught her. "I am Necromanta the Necrodancer. You've earned the right to know my name. Toxman get the girl."

Kumomi was reinforcing their numbers with insect puppets. While Kumomi had distances. She too was beginning to see numerous versions of Toxman and the Mystery Lady. She lucked out in the first strike. Neecromanta gritted her teeth as she was stinging from the inside due to the poison. Toxman was straight out immune. The nano wasps were stuck in his fat body though. Kumoki would feel the puppets dying out as they were stuck in his hide. Perhaps a jolt of electricity would be in order? "LITTLE IVY." He called out to her. "DOST THOU MAKETH ME PROUD. TO KNOW THAT THOU USE OF POISION IS AS NATURAL AS WATER IN THE HUMAN BODY. TIS GRAND. I SAY." He flapped his arms about happily like a bee. "FORGIVE THE LADY. SHE LIKES THE OPPOSITE GENDER TOO MUCH. I WILL ENTERTAIN THEE. I HOPE I SHALL PRAY SEEK MY WORK FURTHER. A GOOD CHEMIST, A GOOD POISIONER, AND EVEN BETTER YET ... A GENTLE SOUL." The fat creature watched and a very sickly smile appeared on his face. He watched as they came closer. He poked his nose, and removed a large ball of snot. He threw it at the dagger. Upon impact the dagger melted, but more importantly the effect sprayed out melting the other daggers too. She was being countered it would seem. Though some daggers did land square in what would be the shoulder area of Toxman. He stuck out his tongue and made a very miserable shrill noise. The ground jutted then giving Toxman and Necromanta an ease of footing. Necromanta would fall off of the gate and she would take Jinichi with her as she pulled forward on the strings. He would fall with her on the inside. Toxman fell into the zombies and squashed them. As he would try to get up he would be splashed upon by the oil from the before. Kumomi was lucky once again. The oil was rubbing off of Toxman and unto the zombies. The mosquitos were alight with fire and flew into them. an explosion went off and rocked everyone back. Jin'ichi was lucky as he was in front of Necromanta. She took the brunt of the explosion. He was pushed back, and now he seemed to have a most opportune moment to strike at her. The zombies were incinerated. Toxman managed to get up. He coughed and hacked. He looked at her once more. "WELL DONE." He inhaled the air around him and grew twice in size. He would then disperse into his gas form to relocate himself closer to Kumomi and away from the puppets. He would reform now looking smaller, but he would belch up a most intense gas upon her. It smelled sickly sweet. Her form would begin to wobble as she felt her puppet controls beginning to fail her. She would need a solid moment of rest in order to reassert control, the reason being that she would feel a certain fondness towards Toxman. He did seem quite cute and charming, but ultimately that was the poison having an effect on her.

Roku seperated the two women from fighting. Their bodies were flung apart from each other. Both of them were staring at Roku. His grand entrance did indeed catch the attention of everyone present. Roku would be glared upon by several men and women whose facaes were hidden. They all wore red robes. Their features hidden. The orange tattooed man, he drank deeply from his horn. Shino was perhaps unconscious due to the hit he had been given by the man. The orange man let out a loud burp. He filled his mouth with the rest of the ale. He walked forward and took a step up on the banister. He looked down at Roku and sprayed him with ale. Roku was soaked. The ale was dripping off of him. The man stood looking down upon him with a smug look. "Finally. Someone worth my time." He took the horn of ale and split the horn in half with his hands. He ripped the banister up and rapped the horns into the banister forming a spiked quarter staff. He began to beat his chest. He was beating it soundly and he left the imprint of his fist upon his chest. The tattoos began to turn white. He was apparently psyching himself up for this. He then spat on Roku next. The spitball landing square on Roku's ale stained face. This was the equivalent to a dog marking his territory. "Another." He roared again as a mug was thrown his way. A mug of what? Ale it seemed. He drained the mug and threw it at Roku. "Another." He cried again and another mug of ale was handed to him this time. He again drank it. This time he threw it at the woman closest to Roku. He threw it with such force that it could easily crack her skull if it was not intercepted. "Damn useless woman. Oh wo-man. Woe. Man." His speech was slurred. "CASKET." He roared this time and a barrel of probably beer was hurled at him. He caught the barrel and hefted it on his shoulder like it was no big deal. "Nows. We fights. We fights likes He-Mens." Curiously he pelvic thrust the air. He allowed the movement to go forward now as he brought down the barrel of ale down upon Roku and with it a sound whack from the spiked quarter staff. "Don't bores mes. Yous sloppy runt-faced puppeh." It seemed that Roku had engaged a brawler, much like himself. The difference was that the man was a drunken fighter. A more unpredictable foe who would grow stronger with the ale he drank.

Kaz kicked up, swimming through the earth as easily as, well maybe treacle. Either way he would appear near tongue lady, and her duplicates. As he did so he felt the chakra boom from further into the estate. Seems like the leaders found the target. At least he's in the right area. Kaz threw out a few light strikes at the various duplicates before moving back into the compound, towards the disturbance. Now was the time to regroup, especially if the target was in danger. Also maybe those zombies would break up in efforts to chase, Kaz didn't feel confident about that, but it didn't exactly look like they were built to last.

"Lets make like a rubber Kunai and bounce gang. Good day m'lady, m'lord." Apparently changing speech patterns in combat threw people off, or at least Kaz had read a pamphlet which suggested so. I really need a hobby...

The fire would cast a bright light as the flames would be larger than expected. Kumomi pulled up her arms to block her body and face from the heat that ripped through the air. Wisps of smoke would trail from the singes on her dress. Before she knew it the enemy was upon her. Turning back into the monstrous form of a man before her, the toxic creature puffed smoke out of his mouth that was accidently inhaled by the young woman. As the poison entered her system she could feel the affects. She took a step back, disconnecting her puppet from her chakra control. She could feel her perception changing and the poison taking it's tole on her nervous system, but little did this monster know she had a natural resistance. Tiny puppets that would constantly patrol her vitals keeping her at maximum capacity. These small kikai shaped puppets would eat away at the toxins being absorbed into her bloodstream from her lounges and deteriorate the adverse effects.

Stammering back, acting as if the affects were getting to her the young kunoichi trickled her fingers slightly. A surge of chakra would be sent from her hands and into the ground. If poison wouldn't work on this monster perhaps the ability of manipulating the earth would. This fat gruesome beast was of poisonous for sure, but though he had the affinity of poison, which in turn was a style of wind, fire had minimal effects on him. Perhaps this was to do with his affinity for fire itself. Another fact that Kumomi had detected was his vaporous forms. This was an ability of both water and fire. Water Style, Fire Style, and Wind Style, these were the elements Kumomi could name so far. As of this she would come to assume that his weakness came into check by another strength. Wind's defense was that of fire, the fire was that of water, but water's weakness seemed to not be in check. Earth was the element that could take down his Water Affinity and she was going to exploit it to her best ability.

With a quick strike of her Earthen Chakra infused fist towards the ground, Kumomi summoned forth three tall spires of earth at her opponent. Earth Style: Sinkhole Fist! As the spires were summoned forth the ground in which the two were standing on dented downwards, hopefully catching the man off guard allowing her attack to strike him more critically. As she did this she would jump backwards and flip in the air, summoning forth a large stone before launching it at the opponent. Earth Style: Stone Bullet! The stone was probably a meter in diameter and would launch at a high rate, pushing Kumomi backwards and away from the toxic monster.

((OoC: Sorry for not doing my normal mod box but I used Sinkhole Fist and Stone Bullet))

Roku stood before a crowd a several cloaked and masked figures that went along with the target and his aggressor. The beastly man began his drinking, his attempt to humiliate Roku or at least make him sticky. His fists with clench tightly, as if in some way initiating his weapons being drawn (equipped Boom Stix).

How many of them are there? It's now questionable that he is the big bad here. Is this an organization? Cult?

His focus would shift back to the man who had just spit upon him. His facial expression would not change, no emotions would not be shown.

His tattoos are starting to glow, is that a curse seal? Some sort of runes that weirdos in cults use? Lot of magically bullshit going on in these parts. Ancients, fat guys, Sunder...

The glare would remain on his opponent but Roku would finally make a move as his arm would dart outwards to connect with the oncoming mug. His punch served ultimately to deflect the mug, but if not durable enough shatter it in midair. Either way, his intentions of keeping the females out of this matter where clear.

"Step back and clear out the rest of the women."

The orders were for both females who could still move, as he had no idea if the other three bodies were still alive. The big man had his make shift weapon, had his barrel and seemed to be feeling the effects of his sudden drinking over-consumption.

He is drunk, I'm sure that in no way will impact his fighting potential.

Roku was not new to fighting styles as he had given up all of his shinobi-hood to ensure his body and his taijutsu was capable enough to stand against any ninjutsu user. So if his opponent was about to utilize one of the more famous styles, Drunken Style, then that would not surprise him too much. Even knowing that, however, did not necessarily help. This man was now capable of doing anything and predicting him was going to be tough.

He also is using a weapon. This man seems to be me in a lot of ways, I wouldn't be surprised if he was almost an entirely taijutsu user as well.

It would appear that with this next onslaught, the barrel smash and the staff shot, Roku would once more just stand and take the punishment. This, unfortunately for the drunkard, would not be the case as the body of Roku would seem to flicker out of existence right before the barrel and follow up attack connected (Body Flicker). Roku would almost instantaneously appear behind the drunk man. If the man still held the barrel in his hands (and I just happened to misread the post that made it appear he was trying to smash me with it), Roku would begin a series of strikes that would first target the barrel (if present) and the rest would be aimed at the tattooed man (16-hit combo). Each attack would be directed for the man's backside of his head and neck area. Roku was not looking to play around with this person, and knew the longer this drug on the potential for risk for him in this battle.

And while he knew the need to finish this fight quickly, there was also another need that had to be fulfilled. Roku would lower down into a splits, in the most Johnny Cage of fashions, and send his right arm barreling upwards with all intentions of connecting with this vulgar gentleman in the most intimate of ways. His fist was heading straight for "parts unknown" and if connected, the intention behind this punch would be very clearly. It held one name and from that name came everything you needed to know; Nut Buster. Upon finishing his first volley, Roku would leap back and assess the situation once more. He had a game plan but was curious to see a certain set of aspects regarding his opponent before he felt comfortable enough to begin another round.
--------------------------------------------------------
Equipped my unarmed weapon: Boom Stix
Punched the cup to block from hitting the woman
Yelled at the women to GTFO
Body Flicker to avoid opponents first attack
Went behind and used 16-hit combo
Then did a bad, bad thing; Nut Buster.
Backed off and waiting to see what results my dirty fighting accomplished
Maintaining cost for keeping Gate One open.

I'm going to proceed here... Jin'ichi is gone for a week, so I'm going to leave him with Necromanta, and ... assume Kasure is dancing with Toxman, I will do a seperare thread with Necromanta if so desired by Jin'ichi)

Kasure had placed himself between anything but a rock and a hard place. Okay. Well for the first few moments it was considering he was in the earth escaping the mess at the gates and the zombies. He would find himself standing behind Toxman who detected his presence, it wasn't hard to notice a man slipping out of the earth. Toxman decided to greet him, with a sweet gaseous mist from the behind. Kasure fought through the abhorrent smell that curiously stained his clothing green. Contact with Toxman proved to be ... well, unexpected. Kasure would find his fist going into the fat and then sink in. The second attack bounced and the fat that consisted of Toxman bounced about. "OOOOH. I LIKE THAT.." Toxman turned around finally and the next punch connected but Toxman was punched again. Toxman would bite his tounge due to the connection of fist, tongue, and teeth. "DAMB." Toxman cursed as he was indeed not pleased with this. Toxman bit down on Kasure's arm. He injected him with poison. Kasure would begin to feel numb in his arm, but only his arm for the time being.

Kumomi would come to Kasure's rescue with the earth of jutsu. Toxman watched as the earth surrounded him "DAMB." Again he cursed. He flapped his arms as he tried to dodge the spires, but one the spires did drive into his knee. It held him in place for the follow up attack to come. Toxman met the stone bullet and was pushed away. Kasure was lucky in a way. Unfortunately Toxman had bit down one last time and left Kasure a nasty bite mark. The suna nin would find chipped teeth in his flesh if he were to look at his wounded form. Toxman hit the gate. The gaseous monster would get back on his feet once more. His punctured leg would dissolve into mist leaving him hopping about for a moment. "TAXMAN." He cried out. He was in quite some pain. "TAXMAN WILL RUNTH AWAYATH AND FIGHT ANOTHER DAY. I WILL BATHE YOU IN GLORIOUSTH POISIONS. IT WILL BE GRAND." It seemed that Toxman did not want to take on two individuals. Cowardice or brilliance? It would remain to be seen later as Toxman dispersed his being into poisonous fumes. He would run into Kumomi and Kasure one more time to leave them with the glory of his stick in their clothes or armour as it were. The two would need to take a moment to gather themselves and air out the smell, and or remove the teeth that Toxman left as a parting gift.

***

Roku and the drunken brawler who would be named shortly would begin the dance of death. Like a good gentleman Roku blocked the mug thrown at the woman, and more importantly he told them to leave. That they would, or try if not for the door being so heavy. First contact between Roku and his foe did not occur. Roku would dodge the barrel smash and found himself behind his target. The ale splashed on the ground and for a moment it seemed like his foe was most willing to get on all fours and lick up the drink. The crowd would begin to chant something. It would take Roku for a moment to figure out it was a name. "Crash. Crash. Crash." A smile graced his face. With his spiked staff he would turn and be graced in the chest with Roku's sixteen hit combo. He took the attacks squarely in the chest. Roku could hear his attacks landing and the crunching of something. Still though his enemy stood resolute. The follow up when Roku did the splits and attempt to punch the crown jewels. Roku's fist met the staff. "Yous. no. Punches mes in the jimmies." No. He would not have it. He would force Roku to spin about as he used excessive force to force Roku to move. Upon making a full turn, Crash would then attempt to knee Roku in the face. Roku's nose was grazed as he avoided the blow.

"Barrel." Crash would cry for again and another would be thrown. This one he would toss up in the air and again smash on the ground. He would then cough. Was he sick? Was he going to throw up? No. Flames woudl come out of his mouth and he set the drink to fire and left the women in a most difficult predicament. Crash would laugh at his enemies as he would let the flames pass his body. Strangely he was not being burned by the fire. Beads of sweet were coming down his face. Another barrel was throw at him again. Crash would this time jump up and catch the barrel. He would down the contents and then hold his head back before shooting a stream of ale out of his mouth at Roku. If it contacted Roku would find himself wet but he would be pushed back against a wall. "Yous should have a drink. Enjoys mine."

As the fight seemed to come to the end of its glory the young girl would be basked in the toxic poisons of her enemy. As the large monster of a man disappeared she could feel the affects of his poison. She quickly reached into her belt pouch and grabbed an antivenom. Quickly taking a swig of the mixture before letting out a long held breath. She then noticed the damage done to her comrade. The young girl would dart over to him activating her medical jutsu as she began to remove the venomous teeth from Kaz's arm. From her bag she pulled out a two small scrolls. Quickly opening them and crossing their paths she made a seal and summoned forth many medical ninja tools. Numerous coloured pills and liquids appeared. She quickly grabbed a dark red Blood Pill, a green Soldier Pill, and a light blue Health Pill. She quickly mashed the three together into a light powder and then poured it into an Energy Drink. The lightly coloured liquid quickly turned dark before she took it to her teammates mouth. She would pour the concoction into Kasure's mouth. She would let out a sigh. She needed to find everyone else, but she didn't know if her patient would be able to sustain himself. So she would wait until she felt as if he was safe.

As the big man left Kaz thought about chasing, but gave it a miss, he didn't feel like more poisons today. Instead he let the fellow genin patch him up. Kaz gagged slightly at the mixture of chemicals hitting his tongue. His eyes closed as he focused on where the chakra flare had come from.
"We're going to need to catch up with Roku, I think that's where the actions going to be." A quick rest proved effective. He started leading the way into the compound, trying to work out where the team leader had gone.

"Maybe I should get one of those headsets? Don't suppose you have one do you?" Next time he would have to be more prepared, and shop for equipment and stuff, like Kumomi seemed to have done.

[I'll take up Sousuke's offer, of continuing in a separate thread. We'll reason it away as Jin'ichi managed to lure her away from the main battle. She's a total flirt, and he's just as bad as she is so it's not too hard to imagine them being lost in their own battle. Furthermore, it would be better for my character. I didn't want to go into any sort of 'Super' mode and do cool stuff in front of anyone. Trying to be more of a Krillin/Yamcha/Side-Character for now, hence I will try to avoid opportunities that make me look like a hero, at least for now. Battling her away from the group and luring her off alone, means some interesting RP. Teammates wondering what happened to Jin'ichi and the girl, and then them meeting back up inside the village later on. Could say that by the time he was finished with her, you all already rescued the main guy. I guess it'll turn into a modded solo for me? Either way, I look forward to delving into it with Sousuke. Let me know through PM when you've posted it up, Sousuke. *Salutes the Kazekage.* I've been absent for far too long to hop back in comfortably. I need an RP to pull me back into NC's world any way.]

Episode 8: 'Crunchy said:
[col]Things would not go as he completely wanted in his first movement as the man was quick enough to turn around, but his combo was able to land. The frustrating piece in this puzzle was that each hit seemed to be followed with a sound that should indicate that this man would be feeling extreme pain, and yet, he continued to stand like nothing occurred. The over-exaggerated crunching now seemed to be more of a mystery than a cause for elation. Finally he would attempt to remove this man's...manhood only to be blocked, overpowered and nearly have his head knocked in from the bastard's knee. Luckily, he was able to dodge the knee for the most part. His nose was gazed and a little line of blood would run down from his right nostril, a testament to the raw strength he was going up against.

Damn, he is a tough piece of crap.

The crowd would then begin their chant for their champion. The reaction of the man made it evident that it was either his name or at least the nickname he went by; Crash. Crash would then begin to bellow flames from his body but would not show any sign of experiencing pain from the flames. He was sweating, which would be an obvious reaction to the heat.

Interesting...

The man would once more command a barrel and he would be granted his request.

Is it really alcohol?

Roku was growing more suspicious of this man, his barrel and his odd body. So it was now time to pick up the pace a little bit. As the barrel was making its way towards the large man, Roku would close his eyes momentarily and channeling his chakra located within his abdomen. Within his body, the limitor placed within this path of his chakra coils would forcibly open allowing another surge of chakra to rush through his body. His skin, much like earlier, would take on a darker red tint as the chakra could now visibly be seen pulsing from his body. His muscles would continue to blossom from his body, seemingly appearing from out of nowhere. The Gate of Limit, which was very fitting in this moment, was now opened. Another internal limit broken...much more literally than the first gate that was opened.
One%20Piece%20Gif%20Luffy%20Second%20Gear%2022_zpsttmfwwwi.gif

With the new found energy flowing through his body, Roku would push off the ground to his left dodging the stream of the liquid shooting at him and racing around the perimeter of the ring. It would seem he was trying to get around his opponent, and in a way he was but that was not his only intended goal. With the Gate of Limit opened, his natural strength was now increased, not to its max but pretty damn close. He would continue at his increased speed until reaching the gate that was closed off for the females. As he approached he would cock his fist back and send it rocketing forward into the gate with his full strength, unleashing a Falcon Punch, and connected with it in the hopes of knocking a hole into the structure and allow the females the chance to flee. He would not sit there long as he now had to keep the pressure on Crash to allow them to escape should his punch caused an opening.

"Fat bastard..."

He would push off the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust hoping to allow the females a smoke screen as he would race back towards crash at a full speed. He would go head on, hopefully enticing the man to focus slowly on him for an attempt to block whatever it was that Roku was about to unleash. Once more Roku would rare his arm back, showing Crash that his intentions were to punch him head on. Roku hoped that this man would take his previous actions at the gate as what was about to happen this time as well. Before approaching the man his body would flicker once more utilizing the Body Flicker technique. Hopefully Crash would assume he was once more going to appear behind him, instead Roku would appear to his left side and unleash a technique that can only be completed in his current state; the Ura Renge.

The first punch would take Crash off his feet slightly, only to be connected with another strike but this time from Roku on his right side. This would continue as Roku would assault the man with this barrage, each time from a different location, in an effort to push his large frame up from the ground until finally appearing above him with the final strike in an attempt to send Crash... crashing back down to earth.

This was his course of action with the hopes of not only dealing damage to the annoying man but to also allow the female the opportunity to escape. But he was also aware that he could not take this man's knack for being an annoying douche for granted.

OOC:

1. Unlocked Gate of Limit
Fifth Gate - Gate of Limit: +10% damage to unarmed weapons. Bolsters unarmed to 60% damage cap.
2. Attempted to dodge stream
3. Falcon Punched gate in hopes of breaking an opening for the women to escape
4. Rushed forwarded and Body Flickered once more
Rank 2: The user avoids an attack, allowing them to instantly counter with a E-C Rank Unarmed Taijutsu at +1 Accuracy.
5. Used Ura Renge on Crash
A technique that utilizes the power of the eight gates to strike at inhumane speed. This technique allows the user to assault a target in a series lightning quick blows, each hit knocking them away from the user only to be hit by the next strike, the user seeming to "juggle" the victim in midair. This barrage is completed with the user striking the target with full force to the ground, all within a few brief, untraceable moments. This technique requires a setup prior to being performed, however.

Information
Prerequisites: Hachimon, Chakra Gates, Primary Lotus

Rank 2: Assaults the victim in an unavoidable barrage of strikes that deals damage equal to 15% of the previous jutsu's, then follows up with a strike that deals 1,800 Damage at +1 Accuracy.

Rank 1 Cost: 545 Cp
Rank 2 Cost: 655 Cp

Notes:
- Requires at least Gate of Limit open.
- This technique is considered a finisher to a combo and may not be used as a springboard into a combo. Meaning that nothing can instantly follow up after this jutsu. This supersedes all directed jutsu saying otherwise.
- The follow up strike in Ura Renge is dodgeable as normal.
6. Maintained cost of keeping Gate One open
First Gate - Gate of Opening: 5% auto-dodge to all sources

Kumomi consumed the anti-venom but she would find that it took her body slightly longer to detox. Their foe was indeed a master of poison and very potent ones at that. Hopefully with any luck they would not engage with him again. Presumably their foe would re-arm himself with more potent fumes, poisons, amongst other unpleasant things. Quickly Kumomi would put together a medical concoction of her own chemistry artistry and give it to Kasure who literally almost had a bite taken out of him. The two of them would take a breather considering they only fought a thuggish guard who later turned zombie along with more thugs turned zombies, along with a woman of necromancer skills, and last but not least a well spoken poison creature. The two of them would feel a force wave come from the residence. A deep rumbling came, was it an earth quake? No it was their next devilment who was combating Roku in what was presumably the underground.

The two of them could take to the sewers, or attempt to enter the residence. Chances were if they pushed entry into the estate they may indeed engage with another foe similar to or above the skill set that they already engaged. If they were to peer into the estate the way was clear, for the time being.

***

Roku would open another gate. The young man ad to push his limits in order to deal with Crash who did not seem to be any worse for wear. Roku dodged the stream of liquid fired at him. Probably for the best too since it was indeed flammable. Roku would make an escape for the ladies to get out and luckily enough his smoke screen gave them what they needed to get out with cover. They would carry out the other fallen bodies. Naturally one would think that they were still alive if they were being moved. It was presumable that they would make way through the sewers like Roku had done but naturally in reverse. Roku called Crash a fat bastard. Crash responded by burping. "Fats? Nopes. Muscles. All over. You've felt them. Bastard? Yeps. Mas n Pas didn't want to get married. Borned outta wedlock. Me brother, he is no bastard. He's a monk. Tooks oafs ... oafs? OATH of silence." It seemed that Crash had a sibling. Hopefully Roku would not run into him any time soon. If so... then hopefully he would survive the silent meeting.

Crash smiled as Roku raced to go meet him in combat. The smile vanished though as Roku disappeared. "COWARDS." He shouted at Roku. Coward was not entirely true Roku met him on the side and proceeded to pummel him with a fast paced attack. Roku sent Crash flying into one of the stands. Roku then came at him again and sent him again into the stands. Roku was travelling fast enough to avoid being dog piled by the men and women in robes. Finally Roku and Crash would appear in the air as Roku would send him downwards. Crash would land but he would lay there smiling at Roku as he looked at him. He still held his spiked staff, he would then stand up and then hurl the weapon at Roku at blinding speeds. Roku if he didn't dodge this attack would be impaled, and to make matters worse the speed at which the weapon was throw would penetrate the ceiling. From afar Kasure and Kumoi would see the spear being thrown, and oddly they would see a comet tail attached to it. Clearly Crash had a very frightening level of strength.

Crash looked confused for a moment. Where was his barrel? He hiccuped. "Another." He called. Nothing was being thrown his way. "ANOTHER." He called again. Again. Nothing was being thrown his way. Crash sighed. "Oh piss." He spoke as he seemed to be growing sober. Crash stomped his foot, cracks in the ground appeared and the building seemed to shift. "PISS I SAID." It seemed like Crash was getting angry. Him being sober and denied his drink was not going to turn out well. He gritted his teeth and launched himself at Roku with greater speed that what Roku had to offer at this moment in time. Roku would be bear hugged and then he would find himself going up through the ceiling and crashing through it along with Crash, except it was Roku being driven in face first. Roku would find himself going up two floors before being stopped.

If Roku had to guess, he would find himself in the main hall on the main floor. There was indeed a hole in the floor and ripped carpets, and a very angry Crash glaring at him as he looked about rapidly for his next drink.
