Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The Inuzuka duo had long since set to work, marking all of the safe routes and preparing the best possible escape plan in the event of needing to abort the whole mission. Kohaku and Shiro followed Katsu's orders to the letter, but by the time the two of them returned to reconvene with the others and set about their mission... there were others. There was a lot to scout out, and a lot of territory to cover; both of them had been away for way longer than was probably necessary and now it seems the others had been caught in the act. In the interest of not getting involved in conflict that the two probably wouldn't be able to win, they stayed hidden and used their keen senses to keep track of everyone's movements and what was happening with the others. They stayed low for a while, watching as Katsu was bonked on the head and subsequently knocked out before either of them could even act. What was there to do though? Both Inuzuka and ninken would lay low and try and rendez-vous with Junpei as soon as time and opportunity allowed for it.

Katsu was about to be knocked out. He knew he couldn't dodge in time, though he saw it coming. Maki was not, it would seem, the most tactful of the high rank thugs. That played well for making him rather unconvincing to the crowd, especially with Katsu flicking his finger moments before the concussion would hit, sending out a genjutsu to some of the few who were close enough to make sense of Maki's words. Amnesia. Katsu had found a fondness for the genjutsu, so easily at his fingertips that he didn't even need handseals or any complex thought: it was reflex. With the context of their misdeeds gone with the memory mainly being of the accusation, Maki claiming himself as a Leaf Sennin, Maki ordering the death of children, and Maki knocking Katsu out before leaving, it was... not looking good for the Sennin.

And then everything went black.

He hoped that his new crew would get him to some semblance of safety, rathering not to be left unconscious on the street for an actual diddler to find him.

Everyone was dispersing; the situation seemed was dispersing. Junpei sighed as he listened to the lecture given by the older female. She was right, of course. How had things even gotten this far? The boy was glad he seemed to have at least calmed things down, though was surprised that there hadn't been more of a backlash. He shouldn't have been surprised that Maki knocked Katsu's lights out, but for whatever reason... he was. Junpei stared in disbelief, his mouth slightly agape as he stared at Maki; looking back and forth between Katsu and the man a couple times before it fully processed.

The kid rushed over to the other kid's side and instinctively checked to make sure he was still breathing. It was a little choppy, but he was definitely still alive. Junpei glared daggers as the man spoke and then left. Junpei reached into his clay pouch and let his palms begin to infuse the chakra into it. He quickly, but haphazardly, crafted a large bird that gripped up his unconscious friend in its talons and they walked away to go find Kohaku; finding him was top priority.

Kohaku and Shiromaru could both already tell what Junpei was trying to do; getting Katsu awake or, at least, to safety was their goal. The Inuzuka had to admit that he was admiring him for that. The clay creatures the boy could create were still pretty breath taking but he still wasn't used to his whole style of jutsu yet. He didn't risk standing out in the open and watching him, but rather he closed his eyes, listening to his footsteps and keeping track of his scent. He started approaching coming closer, seeing the Inuzuka and his little brother out.

"What happened? How long was I gone?' He demanded in a panicked whisper, wondering what he had missed exactly, "who are all the other ninja here?" Kohaku asked, not sure whether Junpei would have the answer or if it would be safe to talk here for very long. Shiro bounded along and looked worriedly up at Junpei, still wondering what exactly was going on with Katsu and what had happened. They were in the same boat here.

Kohaku was quick to make himself known thankfully. Junpei looked at him as he asked him questions frantically. ”Um, a lot of people showed up including a couple sennin from Leaf, that Maru guy and some other people I didn’t know. One of the big burly sennin came at us out of nowhere, and Katsu accused him of… some things… and then the sennin punched him and knocked him unconscious! He was completely unreasonable!” Junpei was a little flustered explaining the story, and he was sure he was forgetting parts, but he hadn’t fully processed everything that had happened yet either.

The large bird dropped Katsu off and the boy looked at Kohaku, ”Hey, I’m sorry, but I really have to get home or I’m going to get into a lot of trouble. It was really nice meeting you guys!” Junpei made a note to smile at Kohaku’s canine friend to include him in that. ”He should wake up soon.” and with that he left.
