Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kishin decided to venture around the richer and more secluded neighborhoods of Konoha today. Clan houses weren't common in Iwagakure, for the only reason that blood mixing wasn't that much of an issue. Though it was a well known fact that Konoha's ties were deep, and clans history within the village even deeper. That was the story of how Konoha came to be originally. A bunch of clans came together through mutual understanding of a better future. A better future for their clan...it was a very secluded and selfish view, but no less so then any other. Iwagakure was on a more narrow view, the greatness of the one. But in the end, everyone came together when it was needed.

Still, clans had there secrets. Secrets that could hopefully blackmailed into coercive measures. And where else to hide them but on their own compounds. Then again, perhaps he would find a family that was on a little hard luck. Kishin wasn't strapped for cash. But he knew it wasn't wise to just go waving money around. That wasn't the kind of attention he needed. Not now, not just yet. But maybe, just maybe he would find a clan that was decently connected, and in need of some for of assistance, money or otherwise. He was still on the search for his sister, but he hit a wall on that end.

Kishin stood on the hillside overlooking the district where clans were housed. Compounds was a very very loose term. Hell, even the word districts didn't fit. It was hard to see where one area ended and another began. Large gates surrounded houses, small towns or what could even be called a village. It..it was amazing. This wasn't going to be as easy as he thought. Even so, he ventured forward towards the closest. The young boy couldn't be sure how he would be received, even the size of these areas, everyone knew everyone, and that was how they wanted it. He would be noticed quickly, hopefully they wouldn't be to reserved.

The sound of feet running on wooden flooring echoed around the house, the furious voice of the head retainer echoed through the corridors of the main house, the voice was coming from a short elderly balding man that marched through the hallway shouting at any of the house staff that were unfortunate enough to cross his path. Behind the impish looking man was a richly dressed woman that seemed to float rather than walk, her feet were covered by her gold and red kimono. Her eyes looked ahead not looking at people but rather looking through them making her status in the house clean. Either side of her stood her twin body guards, both as fierce as they were large swatting away anyone foolish enough to come close to their mistress.

“Stand aside Lady Haniko is coming through!” The man shouted again, the lady winched hearing his annoying tone reverberate so closely in her ears.

“Shut it old man, they can see that!” One man to her left growled at him seeing that his voice was bothering his Mistress. His request was met with disdain by the elder man.

“Don’t you talk to me like that, you are little more than a guard dog. You need to learn your place,” The elder barked back, the man on the right placed his hands on his weapon as he listened to the imp insult his brother. He would have removed his ugly head from his should if it hadn’t been for Haniko placing her elegant hand on his, she needn’t speak he knew what it meant.

“My husband has just been murdered Sota if it wasn’t was Hibiki and Hideki’s watchful guard on me that I would have joined him, so I think that there are more pressing matters at hand. Don’t’ you?” Haniko spoke her voice was soft and was beautiful as her.

“You are right my Lady please forgive me” The elderly man stopped and bowed lowly, she waved him to continue forward not overly keen to be standing in the corridor.

“Just keep walking old man,” Hibiki spoke, he was the elder of the two even if it was only by a matter of minutes, his skin was tanned and he kept his dark hair short to his head. He was nearly identical to his brother if it wasn’t for the scar on his cheek, he shoved him sending Sota tumbling forward cause an eruption of applause from Hideki, Sota glared at the pair and got back to his feet continuing down the hall was to the audience chamber. From the other side of the paper door, the group could hear the chatter of the already gathered masses, each of them had come to stake their claim to the title of Clan Head after hearing of the current Lord untimely death. The new had travelled fast thanks to the loose lips house staff that unfortunately served the house. Haniko sighed and placed a hand on each of her guards as she readied herself for what came next.

The retainer had been walked around what seemed like hours, he was given what seemed like a simple task, find a impartial party that could help in the investigation of the untimely death of his Lord. However, in a distract where everyone was in someone else’s back pocket that was going to be harder then it first appeared.

The young boy just passed from one area to the next, listening intently and finding his ground. It was easy to tell when traveling from one clan district to the next, decorations and symbols of the clan adorned every house and fence. Fortune smiled that he hadn't seen the symbol for the Yamanaka clan. For which, them or he, it couldn't be ascertained. At least it turned out to be a beautiful day. Intermittent sunshine keeping it warm, decent cloud coverage keeping it from being a scorcher, and a good breeze carrying the smells of the distinct smells of each clans preferred culinary delights.

He saw a large group moving along to a nearby house in the district he was currently visiting, voices carrying a distinct sound of alarm and bewilderment. He listened as several groups passed, talking about a murder or some such. Then words of a passing? Then words of a new clan head was to be chosen. Kishin decided it would be best to not follow. Bewildered and chaotic groups tended to point fingers with something that possible involved a person dieing. And with words of a possible murder, fingers tended to be pointed secondly at strangers, and stick to them at that. He stopped though at a tea house, and walked in. He would let the depravity die down, then most would probably head to this location. That is when words would spread, and information passed along. There was nothing like an unknown death to open mouths and spread rumors that were half truth maybe, but spoke volumes about the unkempt members of an area. Or perhaps those looking for some revenge... And revenge always came at a price...
