Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Takeshi was mid-way through the names, getting past the people and the hustle and bustle that was around him, as he allowed his glass to come up he took a sip from the liquid before being addressed by a stranger, he turned form Maki, Kazuki and Roku. It seemed that he was being spoken to by a woman, he had to admit she looked like she had seen the world and experience everything. He listened to her speech it seemed that she had managed to get hold of his name, that much caught his attention as she turned to face the new person. Takeshi honestly had no clue who he was dealing with and it seemed that he would have to find out a name for her.

“Sorry, I didn’t catch your name though you have managed to get my name. Out of place, that could mean a lot considering where we are, I guess no matter which way you look at things we are all out of place one way or another would that not be true?”

Takeshi looked toward the person that she had called to his side, it seemed that they wanted a private audience, to be honest Takeshi was here to meet people and mingle. He was not one to go around and throw insults or even try and offend. He was just here to make himself visible to everyone. He nodded towards Roku and Kazuki deciding to try and keep them together for a little bit longer. He left them with Maki for now though made a note to come back to Kazuki at some point during this meet up. He enjoyed being round someone that taught him so much during his younger years, walking over to where the female stood he saw another man coming towards him. It seemed that she had brought over her partner.

Takeshi allowed himself to move towards one of the bar staff that was lingering around, he allowed himself to go and get another drink before joining the two of them away from the others. It seemed that the Kage would have there meeting, he may as well have the time to mingle with others. As he continued to listen to her he allowed a small chuckle to come from his lips, it seemed that she was trying to make small talk with Takeshi and he would allow her that pleasantry until she identified herself.

“I doubt it very much if I am honest, but who says what I will look like in the future, personally I feel that I will be going grey but I could go bald. So how are you finding your trip to Tea country I have managed to have a mingle in some of the shops. I have to say I love going to different countries, different cultures and it is always a joy to meet new people. Also, all of this and so little trouble, I have to admit that it was a surprise to myself. But when everyone is enjoying themselves its hard to not get caught up in it wouldn’t you agree?”

It seemed that the kage would be retiring to another area to hold discussions in private. Ayumu wasn't in love with the idea of leaving the bar, but perhaps it wouldn't be bad to get away from whatever drama was brewing in the room at that moment. Besides that, he could at least take his drink- which he was sure to get a refill on before following Umashi's lead and standing up.

"Alright, let's do it... 'tis the reason for the event after all," Ayumu complied as he raised his glass to take a sip but stopped short. 'Better save some of this,' he thought, lowering it and abstaining for the moment. Wherever they were headed, Ayumu would follow as he mentally prepared himself to be a bit more social. With his freshly topped of drink secured, he was as prepared as he was going to be. Perhaps he'd finally meet some kage outside of Umashi.

NPC: Otokage "Grand Master" Kageoni

There was very little that went on in Kurosawa City that escaped the notice of the Grand Master of Otogakure. Truthfully that scope encompassed much of Tea Country and a startling amount of Wind Country as well even though the extent to which Otogakure was involved with or even present within the confines of the desert country to the west of Tea Country was an unknown factor to it's residents. Thus it was not a surprise to Kageoni that the Wind Daimyo had made an appearance at this gathering. Disappointing, certainly. After all he had given his errant student explicit instructions to stay away from Tea Country and the tournament as a whole. Kageoni had not wanted Ishii Shiro and his malformed Sovereign troglodytes interfering with the delicate situation that was the meeting of the three "great" shinobi nations of Leaf, Sand and Cloud after the complete and utter mess his cretins had made of the last meeting of the various shinobi nations.

Bringing a delicate glass of a deep red wine to his lips, Kageoni took the briefest of sips and quietly watched from his VIP balcony as the arriving shinobi met and mingled with each other mostly unaware of him. To them he would likely have simply appeared to be another rich proprietor of the establishment, perhaps the owner or a statesman rich enough to buy his way into the room which was supposedly reserved for shinobi. Likely it would come as some surprise to the Hokage who had bought out the establishment for the evening to find the Otokage waiting for them within the VIP room which was explicitly reserved for their meeting of hearts and minds.

"My lord, the Hokage has asked the Raikage and Kazekage to accompany him upstairs."

Kageoni did not turn to regard the attendant which had approached him to give him the information about the three other kages coming upstairs. He was prepared to meet them-- he had been prepared the moment he had set this tournament into motion. Ignoring the attendant entirely, Kageoni turned to the only other person on the raised platform-- a woman with delicate and pale skin and long straight black hair that draped around her almost like a gown. Her bare shoulders were adorned with a mantle of soft raven feathers as dark as her hair and only barely attached to the beauteous dress of ebony material that adorned her body, flatteringly hugging the curves of her body. She, like the Otokage, watched the guests from their elevated vantage point but did so with a considerably lighter degree of disinterest. Where the Otokage was unconcerned with the chaff that milled about beneath them, Kurohane Kitai looked at each of them as a box of new secrets to unwrap and acquire. The interactions between Sound shinobi and foreigners had been deliberately limited in the past and only just now was that sanction being officially lifted. She'd cheated by skirting the rules set forth by the Grand Master plenty of times but never enough to earn his ire and suffer his wrath but now the gates were open and the lambs were being led to the slaughter. She resisted the urge for the uncouth gesture but the Master of Oracles could have licked her lips in anticipation for what was to come.

"Kitai, please see to the delinquent daimyo and see that he does not cause an undue amount of trouble. I will attend to the matter of his disobedience after I am through with more important matters."

His words were soft but impossible to hear for anyone below them at the floor level. With all of the various meeting and greeting which was going on, not to mention the sounds of gambling both being won and lost at all around them, the cacophony of the casino created a buffering wall of sound which served to separate the VIP platform from the floor level and even if someone were determined to spy on their betters the owner of the establishment had paid a hefty price many years ago to ensure that the VIP balconies of his casino were enhanced to prevent the eavesdropping of undesirables.

Under any other circumstances, Kitai would have made a noise of displeasure as she was ordered to see to a task that was utterly mundane despite the feast of tantalizing new acquaintances and thus secrets before her but she understood the gravity of the instruction given to her. Kageoni was rarely predisposed to fits of emotional outburst except when truly agitated and for him to have wasted so many words on the daimyo already meant bleak things for him. Ishii Shiro had made a grave mistake in thinking that he was above the wrath of the Grand Master of Otogakure and Kageoni had chosen Kitai to be the harbinger of that message. What the Wind Daimyo did with that knowledge was up to him. Wordlessly, Kitai gracefully rose from the seat she had been occupying and bowed her head in acquiescence to the Otokage's instruction before turning and heading downstairs to locate the Wind Daimyo ...

[Kurohane Kitai will be entering the thread on her next post-- Kageoni is only RPing here as scene dressing for the fact that he is waiting for Umashi, Ayumu and Katsuo upstairs in the VIP room.]

The party would not remain peaceful for long. Not because there were any hostile actions taking place but because two people had entered the room. One of them being a very disliked one, if you happened to be a Suna Shinobi. The Wind Daimyo himself had dared to join this reunion of high caliber shinobi of all the major powers of the world. It was a bold move and something the people of Sand could do nothing about. The casino was neutral grounds and neither of them would be the cause for an early dispute between them all. This would, nevertheless, make any and all Sunans in attendance on edge. ”That’ll do for now Kazuki, thanks for the cliff notes on who’s who here. In case you didn’t catch it, our good friend the Wind Daimyo just showed up so like I told Roku—make sure you play it cool.”</COLOR> the Kazekage would instruct him. The Senju Overlord would simply nod back. Bar a few moments he allowed his emotions to run him over, he was the epitome of cool. In fact, his own body exuded a cold aura that few could resist feeling. ”If you can use some of your connections with any of the Leaf higher ups to get a good word in for us with them, that’s a good first step.” Reaper would nod again. ”Consider it done. With my background and relationship with their current ANBU Sennin and I am quite certain I can do more than that.”[lb2][/lb2]

After his crash course had been over and he had received some late instructions from the last Sunahoshi, the newly appointed Sennin, or close to, approached them. ”The name is Tonkon Maki, actually. I apologize for how we met, and do hope I can work to regain face with your village. I’ll be replacing Takeshi as the ANBU Sennin shortly.” So he had lied. Kazuki wasn’t exactly surprised by that. ”You had no reason to lie to me and the fact you did only reduces my ability to trust you. Still, you brought me proof that Konohagakure had been restored. We shall start with a clean slate, forget what happened before, but I will not let it slide a second time.” he would warn Maki. ”Your soon to be new position is one I have held before. In fact, I was the last ANBU Sennin before Konoha’s fall. It is a position with much responsibility and all your predecessors honored it. Do not fail.”[lb2][/lb2]

They would be interrupted when one of the casino staff would request Katsuo’s presence, at the behest of the Hokage, in a different room for a more personal meeting between all Kages. "<COLOR color="darkgreen">Thanks, I'll be along in a second. Excuse me." he would dismiss the staff before turning to his Sennin for one last word with them. "If a fight breaks out then we'll consolidate into a team of three and make our way out together but just remember we're here to make friends, not enemies. We can't be allowed to look like the bad guy here. If Ishii Shiro swings another shinobi nation into this conflict on his side, things are going to get a lot worse for us." The Kazakge’s face was gravely serious and his tone was quite low, for their ears only. ”No fight would be started by my hand, I guarantee that.” the White Wolf would promise. The Deep Court was known for never lying but they also worked through subterfuge and mischief. The Shadow Sword promised he wouldn’t start a fight via his hand, but he could ways create one via his words and he would still not break his promise. Still, he had no intention to fight the Daimyo and the Merchant Lord, or any other shinobi for that matter.[lb2][/lb2]

Takeshi, his former protégé would eventually approach them. “So Kazuki, are you going to introduce me to your friend? Though I think I missed one of them which is a shame, but I can try and catch up later. So who else have we got here, a couple of faces to be introduced to. It seems though that you already know our Sennin here, he always has……..an interesting way to introduce himself wouldn’t you agree?” Before the Occult Sennin could introduce Roku, the man himself took initiative and went ahead and announced who he was. "I go by Roku." ”Indeed he does.” the Deep Court Hybrid would verify after eyeing his co-Sennin for a brief second, seeing if he would react just like he had done after Maki drew near. He knew, however, the Street Sennin’s reaction was not because of the future Leaf ANBU Sennin, but because of the emergence of a certain Daimyo that had grieved them so much. But before anymore words could be said from each side, the current ANBU Sennin for Konohagakure was called out by the Daimyo’s companion. ”Careful now.” Kazuki would mutter before the Uchiha left their company. His former protégé was not aware of the delicate intricacies going on between Sunagakure and the regent of the Wind Country. He did not know he had to tread carefully around those individuals and he could not let his tongue go loose, but beside that meager warning there was nothing the Senju Overlord could do.[lb2][/lb2]

”It would seem Iwagakure did not bring anyone to this meeting. I wonder what has happened to them. And besides the Raikage there are no more Kumo nin around. It is strange to see Leaf and Sand so dominant.” the White Wolf would comment to Roku using a low tone. ”What do you know about her and her relationship with the Daimyo?” he would inquire using the same tone of voice. ”Tell me Maki, how is life treating you these days?”[lb2][/lb2]

As Katsuo headed away from his two sennin and the Leaf shinobi that had made his way over to introduce himself, he stopped cold in his tracks as another voice addressed him. He'd never heard that voice before but there was something in the words that he said or perhaps the way he spoke that told Katsuo precisely who was addressing him. Turning on his heel, the 10th Kazekage took his first in person look at the daimyo of Wind Country himself Ishii Shiro.

The man that had orchestrated the murder of his father.

"You look troubled. I would not be too nervous here... among your supposed peers."

There was an impulsive crackle of lightning across Katsuo's shoulders that immediately betrayed the aggression that he felt towards Shiro. Only moments before he'd told both Roku and Kazuki that they needed to be on their best behavior here even if... no especially if Shiro decided to push his luck with them but in that moment Katsuo found it difficult to heed his own orders. He was suddenly keenly aware that he was not in possession of his sword and perhaps it was that sensation of aggression and desire for battle that called out to Tatsumasa. With a crash and the sound of smashing of dishes, the sheathed form of Tatsumasa came spinning through the air from out of sight presumably freed from the repository that they'd used to store weapons that they'd relieved from shinobi attending the event. Plucking the spinning blade out of the air without taking his eyes off of Shiro, Katsuo advanced quickly on where the daimyo was standing. Even though he made no move to draw his sword, there was certainly an aggravated way that he advanced on Shiro and it would likely appear to any number of on-lookers that Katsuo was about to assault him but as the Kazekage drew close to Shiro he stayed his blade and made no hostile move towards him other than staring intently at him.

"Save your breath, tyrant." The resolve in Katsuo's words and expression made it clear that he was not going to be taunted into doing something rash. Not here with all the world's eyes upon both of them. "This is the first time we've met in person, so I want you to hear it from me so that there's no misunderstanding between us. Before this war is over I'm going to make you pay in blood for the crimes you've committed."

Katsuo held Ishii Shiro's gaze for a few moments afterwards before turning and beginning to walk away from him. There was no fear or apprehension in the way Katsuo had spoken or regarded the daimyo of Wind. Only a calm resolution that was reflected in his words. There was much that Shiro had to answer for and Katsuo would see it done personally when the time came but that moment was not now. If he started a rumble with the daimyo here not only would innocent people get caught in the crossfire but he'd only be providing the daimyo with more ammunition to paint them as villains and Katsuo had no intention of giving that to him.

(Apologies, irl been kicking my butt and forgot it was my post)

People were leaving, which was fine with him. Less threats to keep track of. Less people to worry about offending, also. He watches as Umashi leads them out, eyes snapping back to Kazuki as the other calls him out on his earlier lie. ”I offer no excuses for my earlier lie, and am happy you’re willing to be lenient on it. I have no intention of failing, and in fact think we’ll be meeting much more if my plans for the branch pan out.”

He looks once more to Katsuo as the man….crackles. ”Roku. The name sounds…familiar.” He wasn’t sure why. Right now, his attention was focused on the Kazekage as the man’s blade came flying in from outside of the room. Maki’s hand drops to his own weapon as he watches, but makes no move to stop the other. He was acutely aware that two of this man’s companions were right beside him, for one. And the fact that Katsuo was having some heated words with this person, the Wind Daimyo if he heard correctly earlier, meant that there was something there to take note of.

As the little spat breaks up, Maki relaxes and brings his hand up, a bottle of whiskey in it. He makes no explanation for where it came from, taking a sip before offering it to Roku and Kazuki. ”Not gonna ask. But after that I think you two might need this more than I.”

OC: Been waiting for the rest, however it would appear that they have lost interest in this thread.

IC:

It could be said that he was relevant to the interests of Sunagakure, a civil war had been waging for over three decades despite the fact that only for the last two such had been recognized. His position of power was the slow consolidation of the feudal lands owned by the other Diamyos in Wind Country, leaving only one community sovereign from his rule Sunagakure. An offense that he would not be allowed to let stand. The Otokage had insisted he remained present in Sora, the capital of Wind Country whilst this international display of power was ongoing. It seemed hardly fair that he, after all of his efforts and successes would be left out of this summit. He was the true king of the desert, not this glorified fighter for hire whose only claim to the throne is his lineage that sounded more like a tall tale or a legand than something that should have been chronicled in the history books.

Lightning would arch and snake across the so-called 'King's' shoulders and his sword would spring to life as it spun midair before finding the shinobi leader's hand.

"Save your breath, tyrant."

This was exactly what the leader was looking for. For cracks in the exterior of this shinning shinobi nation. He let out a condescending laugh.

"This is the first time we've met in person, so I want you to hear it from me so that there's no misunderstanding between us. Before this war is over I'm going to make you pay in blood for the crimes you've committed."

"Crimes?" He repeated. "Crimes? Like the alleged kidnapping of my daughter? Or the damages incurred in Soons by your men?" The Diamyo was of course attempting to get a rise from him. Of course Sunagakure was not the only village at fault for what transpired, in fact the worst of it was due to Iwagakure's reckless participants but history has a habit of forgetting the source if it was irrelevant to them. The near assassination of the Tsuchikage led to the imprisonment of former Kiri-nin Miroku Akkuma whom was not directly associated with Sunagakure at the time of the incident however had resided in the hidden village for a few years prior to the incident. He lives there to this day in fact. They should have killed the Mercenary for the sake of appearances, that is what he would have done but of course benevolence was an assumption for the isolationist nation. The preservation of live, forgiveness, second chances -- admirable attributes surely, for a Saturday morning cartoon. That was of course what made them so different, he was willing to step over lines that the shinobi nation was not. Ironic truly because they had been painted as the 'evil' shinobi community, every error, every oversight, selfish action, even ones that never happened were plastered over the media, spread by rumormongers and of course propagated in many cases by himself or his men.

It was rude how the shinobi leaders had decided to continue the meeting in private. It was an exclusive boys club truly. Something he had no qualms pointing out after the Kazekage and his peers left [they need to get out of this topic so they can continue on in their intended thread]. "I suppose we are not worthy of their trust," he shook his head and made a tsking noise as he made his way near one of the body guards or Sennin. Did not matter whom. He did not care. He was here to stir things up, nothing more. Well, he had other reasons, but those were not relevant on this day. "Guess you can run the village in their absence, guard their body with yours... but you cannot know all their secrets. Shame..."

“Sorry, I didn’t catch your name though you have managed to get my name. Out of place, that could mean a lot considering where we are, I guess no matter which way you look at things we are all out of place one way or another would that not be true?”

"Not as famous as I assumed," she joked at her own expense. Perhaps it would be seen as charming or disarming. "Merchant Lord Mako," the term Lord in this chase was androgynous. "I suppose I am not as well known as the upper echelon of these hidden villages," she fed into his pride. She would gesture towards her husband, "and I suppose in case he is not well-known either, that is my handsome husband Diamyo Ishii Shiro." She was pointing out their status, while their positions of power are irrelevant in his country it did not matter greatly because status was still status regardless of borders in regards to importance and perceived usefulness. Much like her bothering with a foreign Sennin.

Mako was a beautiful yet strange woman. She was just as cold and calculating as her husband of course and she took a keen interest in Takeshi. She was going to latch onto someone, that was her job. Preferably a non-Sunan. That was how this worked. Make friends. Be nice. Show your pretty face. "A rarity," she agreed. "I still remember the last time every nation visited Soons to celebrate my step daughter's almost wedding." She was alluding to the inter-village examination that occurred a few years ago that was halted prematurely due to security concerns. The Tsuchikage was nearly assassinated during the Jounin Exam. There was a break-out during the ANBU exam. There were several complaints from the residents as well. It culminated in the international conflict between a Leaf shinobi and a Kiri shinobi that resulted in the closure of the event.

It was almost everything that they could hope for.

There was no reason to go into detail. Whatever the Kohonan could remember would be good enough, most of it could paint Sunagakure in a poor light and that was her intent. She would smile as she added, "my husband and myself could use Kohonagakure's assistance on a few trivial matters." She was not foolish enough to be obvious. Small deeds. Business deals. Shared profits. Greed is a motivator. Power and strength another. Paranoia another. She lowered her voice. "I could use some assistance regarding my step son." She was not going to go in for the kill, not yet. Her step son was a better place to start, it made her look sentimental, caring, compassionate, concerned.

The Hokage announced his intent to adjourn to a private space. "How disappointing..." she pouted as she turned their head in their direction. She would not stop their departure, it was not her place nor was it her job. Her job was to bring a foreign shinobi to her hotel room. Not for a naked romp, disgusting. She just wanted someone, one of them, any one really for another reason entirely. "Guess there are things intended for fewer ears." She realized fully that they were avoiding not only her, the Diamyo but also the other village leaders less the Kages themselves. Trust was lacking in other communities as well it would seem. How hilarious. "In any case... Sennin right?" She was verifying his station. "You must spend the evening with me and my husband, it is like looking back twenty years looking at you." She was lying again of course. It was rare she ever told the truth.
!
If you want to get away from her and where this thread is going, just walk away. As for where this thread is going, you'll have to ask in DM because I do not want any inadvertent metagame regarding this subject.

The female introduced herself. Kenshin kept quiet as she moved on. Her invitation was noted but otherwise unconcerned. The Kage filed back into a room. Kenshin would keep an eye on the entrance.

Meanwhile things were getting heated out here between the Sand folks. Kenshin readied himself his posture tensing. The moment was gone.

Kenshin would take a seat and watch the door to the where the Kage were meeting. He would keep an eye on Merchant Lord and the Sand Daimyo.

Kenshin would make it a point to keep to himself. He didn't drink and kept on alert. Things were tense enough and with all of these high level shinobi one kunai and a war would begin and take part of Tea with it. Kenshin would rather avoid that.

Takeshi watched as the Kage took there leave, it left him frowning slightly but it was nothing that he had to worry about in the slightest. He allowed himself a few moments to get to terms with everything that had come to transpire. His focus was brought back Mako it seemed that her stories brought a small smile on the Uchiha’s lips as he pondered for a few seconds. He listened to the story about the examination and knew full well that an inter village exam seemed to have its own merits something like that would be required planning, but it would be an interesting concept for sure.

“That must have been a time, all the villages coming together for one cause, the same as today, so many new people and so many interesting people around. It’s a great time to see what everyone is like and build some friendships that can last”

Takeshi watched as the group came slowly started to come together, he glanced over to where Maki was checking out how the situation was going over there, it seemed that he wanted to make sure that everyone was still doing ok and right now he was happy that it was going well for each of them. Though Kenshin did not look happy at the fact that he was no longer around Umashi. As his dedicated body guard, it must have been annoying to not be able to see the one that you are supposed to protect. The though crossed Takeshi’s mind, but right now it was above him to think such thoughts out aloud instead he would keep his silence that was the least he could do in such a politically charged situation.

Though it seemed that the women would go on to state her disappointment at the fact that they would not be attending the meeting with the Hokage. Though the fact that she has already forgot his rank could not be helped this was a place where people had just met, it seemed that they had a distaste for the Shinobi from Sand, though Takeshi wanted to find out a bit more the offer to go to a room tempting him, not for the reasons most would suspect. It was more the unknown, the temptation of saying yes to see what happened, but he wanted to ask a few more questions first.

“What would be these small little matters that you where on about if I can ask. I mean being honest I have been asked for small things before, but they turn out to be something that should never have been sought after. Hence why I ask?”

It might be true that Takeshi was buying some time, this probably would be clear as day but at the same time he didn’t want to rush ahead with anything before getting a small idea of what was the true purpose of the girl that he was speaking to. It seemed the had had to prod for more answers.

“Why not grab another drink first?”

”I offer no excuses for my earlier lie, and am happy you’re willing to be lenient on it. With nothing else to say, the Senju Overlord would simply nod back.[lb2][/lb2]
After warning his Sennins to not start a fight with the Daimyo, the last Sunahoshi would turn heel and face Ishii Shiro for the very first time. A crackle of lightning would run across the Kazekage’s shoulders, an almost imperceptible reaction to the Daimyo, but that Roku and Kazuki couldn’t fail to notice, given their current proximity to Katsuo. If lightning was not enough, a sudden ruckus signaled the flying approach of their leader’s sword. Picking it up in midair, the last Sunahoshi would advance toward the Wind Daimyo till he was face to face with the man. ”Save your breath, tyrant.” Katsuo would declare. Despite his hasty approach and possible threatening demeanor, he had made no attempt at any sort of aggression so far. ”This is the first time we’ve met in person, so I want you to hear it from me so that there’s no misunderstanding between us. Before this war is over I’m going to make you pay in blood for the crimes you’ve committed.” With that off his chest, Katsuo would turn around again and walked away to join the other Kages in their own meeting.[lb2][/lb2]
”Not gonna ask. But after that I think you two might need this more than I.” the future ANBU Sennin for Konohagakure would tell them as he offered them a flask with some alcoholic beverage. Reaper would shake his head, passing down his offer, given he did not drink and had no need for it as well. ”Is it me or did our Kage just do what he warned us against?” the White Wolf would question Roku with a slight ironic tone. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t be given time for a lengthier conversation as Shiro, the great enemy himself, decided to approach them. “Guess you can run the village in their absence, guard their body with yours… but you cannot know all their secrets. Shame…” he would tell them. Ishii Shiro’s motives were quite clear for the Shadow Sword. He was trying to instigate something out of them. It was why he had chosen to address them instead of any other Sennin present in the room. He wanted them to react harshly and without thinking. Tough luck, he wouldn’t be getting that from the Occult Sennin, perhaps not even from Roku. ”Daimyo.” he would speak. His voice sounded calm and steady and he had chosen to use the man’s station instead of his name. ”Please do share if you know all their secrets. I would very much like to know them.”[lb2][/lb2]

The Kages had went to a more secluded location to have their grand international meeting where the fate of the free world might be decided, while the rest of the attendants were left there to mingle with each other. Unfortunately, one of people present for was the Wind Daimyo, a very hated figure in Sunagakure and left a bitter taste in Kazuki’s mouth and made him less than willing to stay for much longer. He certainly wasn’t there to cause an incident in such a closed room and he would certainly not further fuel the hatred between the Immortal Palace and Sand. It was why that he was going to excuse himself and leave the room before things were said and done that could later be regretted. ”I trust you can take care of things for a while. I have been alerted that one of our students might be in danger. I will take care of it and return shortly. Do call me if you start a war in here, there is blood to be spilled.” the Senju Overlord would tell his Sennin counterpart.[lb2][/lb2]

He would gaze everyone of significance inside the room before giving one meaningful look to Roku before he departed. He truly hoped the palpable tension wouldn’t reach such heights that could cause an exothermic reaction, resulting in blood being spilled and potential casualties. He was leaving the Street Sennin a bit unguarded, but he trusted Takeshi to know he would not ally himself with Ishii Shiro against a fellow shinobi.[lb2][/lb2]

Dead Party is Better Than Death at Party said:
"I will rain check on that..."

These words would be accompanied by a raised hand to decline the offer of the drink from Maki. His attention would immediately cut away from that and turn towards the Kazekage as he would approach the Daimyo. Then Katsuo would exclaim, with a bit of passion, his feeling towards the man. He couldn't blame him, it was definitely an approach he would have taken if he had not just been told by his higher up not to do so. He would glance back over to Kazuki with a smirk on his face, as his fellow Sennin seemed to observe the same funny irony in the moment.

"Well, he is definitely a different breed than Sousuke."

He would continue to observe from the distance as Kazuki would receive word on a situation and depart.

"No worries, I can't have me doing all the work anyways."

Well, guess I should go get the boss... fuck, am I a secretary now?

With a sigh he would approach Katsuo and simply remind the Kazekage of his reason for being here.

"Kazekage-sama..."

Well that was odd... crap, such a sellout.

"Don't forget that you are needed for a meeting."

His eyes would then turn to the Daimyo. Nothing would register, at least not at this moment. Had he met this man before, had this man met 'him' before, this and other questions continue to process through his mind. Now, unfortunately, was not the time to get them answered. He would bow to whatever Katsuo's response would be and would excuse himself over to the further seat away from people. Now he just wanted to sit down, have a moment of peace and await for the end of this awkward show.
