Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The day had gone fast. Shinjo still wasn’t sure how the hell he had gotten there, but he stood at the entrance to his old home. The one before he had been taken in by Kumogakure after murdering his father. Father Time had taken a baseball bat to the old home, he noticed, as pushing on the front door to walk in caused it to fall in with a loud bang. Every step on the wooden floors creaked loudly while giving off a feeling as if they’d break underneath his feet any second. The coastal weather really did a number on everything inside as it was all moist and smelled of rotten fish. There was a dark spot on the floor in the living room where he had stabbed his father to death, and an assortment of trash that spoke of squatters. The stairs that lead up to the second floor and where his old room had fallen through years ago, it appeared, but with a simple jump the shinobi landed gently on the creaking floor of the second floor and quickly snaked his way through the debris until he stood in his old room.

In there, he simply collapsed. Shinjo was tired from running and the stress of staying hidden in plain sight. Thankfully due to his dojutsu, he was able to give anyone chasing him the slip easily, and since Miro was out of the country he had a high doubt no one was going to look here of all places for him. By all means the house had been ransacked and run down so bad that even the homeless were avoiding it, but for some reason he couldn’t help but be drawn to it. Memories that had been warped in his head to fit the agenda of the ANBU Sennin came flooding back as he fell asleep on the floor, covered only by a ratty blanket he had stolen on the way here. In that sleep the memories of both lives, the one he actually lived and the fake one spoon fed to him, mixed and danced back n’ forth in his brain until he awoke some three hours later and vomited in the corner.
Shin was shook. Everything he knew about his life, or at least thought he had for the last few months, had been a huge lie. How many people in Kumogakure knew of it? How many of them condoned it? Surely it was a better choice to just simply end his life now that there was a large selection of chakra hopefuls to choose from than do what they did. The crimes he had committed, some of which had been blacked out by poison, now came into full details. The memory of everything he had done to his late-fiance and her family, the criminals he had all but eviscerated in an attempt to clear his guilt…all of it screamed at him; all he wanted to do was scream back. The assassin punched the corner wall he stood next to, easily causing the soggy wood to break out to make a hole. He sighed, loudly, but also heard people outside starting to talk in a panic.

Oh well, he had gotten in a nap at least. The first sleep he had in nearly three days. If nothing else, it cleared his mind and set his goal to get the hell away from Lightning as fast as he could.
