Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The giant aqua toned frog sat in the middle of the Rocky passage blocking most if not all of the path. His bulky body was sitting there in wait as the summoner jumped down to the front entrance. Yuuto looked a lot different, facially the same but his hair and skin tone had been restored and anyone with the power to see the inner spirit would immediately be able to take note of his patchworker soul. The exile would advance towards the gates taking out a single stick from his pack. He would tap it a few times getting the signal flare inside primed as he let off the fiery red gleam into the sky. It would definitely catch someone's eyes, that or the giant toad.

Yuuto himself was armed to the tooth, a giant claymore on his back, a huge saber on his hip, and the enormous wooden orb he seemed to gripping like his life depended on it. A green glowing lantern was firmly attached to his waist, to be honest it was eerie as hell. These were the fruits of his new labors, the puppets disguised as weapons, dialing as a sword and utility closet. He was not your traditional warrior that was for sure. Dismantling and selling the psionic series puppets was one of the hardest things he could have ever done but this was all worth it, in the end Yuuto would always survive.

When a Gate Guard approached, he would take off his red crag worm silk coat. His black leather armor was cut at the shoulders allowing them to see his arms. Along with various scars on his right shoulder the gate guard would see the markings of a Cloud Anbu/Shinobi. "Masaru Yuuto, exile of Kumogakure. I have come bearing information about Stone Village and the potential threat of War. I think someone's going to want to know about this. I also have brought the deceased body of my cousin who the Tsuchikage personally killed. I have direct information about Stone's current Political Struggle and something for the Raikage to consider." He would leave it there while Gamahiro the giant toad observed the events unfold unknowing to anyone even Yuuto that there was another passenger, a small red toad who was the best at reporting.

Kagura watched him approach in the flashy manner, it intimidated her not.

"Exile, I'm not sure when you were kicked out of our beloved village, but the gates are closed to outsiders no matter what information they might have. If you would like to leave said information with me, I can get it to the Raikage."

A woman soon approached she had a cold stare in her eyes the same one as Yuuto. She was one of the serious gate guards, the one Cloud often lacked, the type of guard he and Fuu were bred to be."I was exiled for exposing dirty secrets hidden by dirtied hands. I'll set up camp here. Call the Raikage over, or call one of my kinsmen to pick up my delivery." His words were almost like a snarl, he was angered to be treated like an outsider. Yes it was rational because he was exiled, but it still pissed him off.

He exposed Shin for the decisions he made not for himself, not for power, but for the common man and woman of Cloud, for the common shinobi like this one who had no idea what their village was doing. It was saddening. However he would simply walk over to the large Gamahiro and begin speaking to make some formal understanding. "I'm going to have to wait here for a while Gamahiro, Thanks for bringing me here."

"No problem tadpole, just remember work things out. No reason good men should be kept from home if something can be handled all civil like. Later!" With that the giant toad would disappear, while a simultaneous puff of smoke went off as well. It was one much smaller but noticeable to Yuuto. He would raise his eyebrow wondering what the Toads were up to.

[Waiting for someone then]

He'd been keeping a closer eye on the goings on around him of late. Perhaps the term referring to the awakening of a sleeping giant wasn't too far off. Working in the smithery didn't give him a huge amount of contact though, however he was still technically ANBU, and still knew the channels. He listened in as chatter about the gates went on, that the exiled Yuuto had returned for some reason.

Yuuto.

Like Akira the boy had been exiled by the leadership of Kumogakure. This combined with recent events such as Shin and Daisuke's visit meant that suddenly Akira's curiosity was piqued. He didn't like only having a single version of things, only knowing what had been layed out in front of you meant that you had such a limited vision. What if all you could see before you was a single dead body, yet behind you lay a field of murdered, the evidence on the body in front would mean nothing without knowing the full situation. Was the person before you a victim? They would often like to paint themselves in that way, but the field of dead that they don't show you might paint a different story.

A young trainee, cocky and confident in his abilities and yet stupid in his inability to know that Akira was more than a simple blacksmith stood waiting for his weapon to be sharpened. Yet when the bulk of Akira ignored him, and then ignored his cries of disgust at how Akira needed to know his place, only to finally hear the words "you don't know who my father is, he's a captain and will put you in your place!" only then did Akira turn his attention to the boy.

At that moment the size of Akira suddenly seemed to make itself visible as he stepped forward, towering over the child Go sharpen your own blade. he said simply as the byakugan activated on his lone eye. His hand brought around his mask, unworn for so long and with a slight alteration to it.

Now he wore a plain oval mask with a single eye hole over the dead eye on the right side of his face, a red line slicing down it. His monstrous blade sitting on his back.

Leaving the Sileo he went to the gate and landed next to a woman who seemed to have been standing silently. The man Yuuto stood before the gates apparently waiting for something or someone.

Is that the exile? He would ask softly. Once confirmed he would move towards the man.

Yuuto I believe? My callsign is Saru. I would like a word.

Jin went out of the village, a vague feeling of nostalgia yet the very atmosphere was dark - an ominous thing not like he really care for those kinds of things. Stepping out of the boundary, he gave a smile as people gathered around a stranger, not exactly one - but someone he knows personally. His jacket danced as a gentle breeze passed by him, slowly walking towards the group of people. A smile came upon his face.

"Oh my... Welcome back, cousin!" He gleefully stated at the mere sight of his face, regardless of the changes of his clothing or hair, he would recognize a blood brother from afar even they got burned so bad that they wouldn't have a face.

His eyes looked from left to right, each of the people who tried to interrogate him for his identity. One seems to recognize him but from what it looks like, his dear cousin will be going on a detour if he did. "My name is Jinouga of the Masaru Clan, I shall accompany himself inside the village and make it my responsibility to be with him at all times... and don't worry, he's the genuine Masaru Yuuto who leaked our dear Raikage's secrets, not like it should matter now anyway." His smile turned grim as he looked towards the direction of Yuuto.

"If you would allow us, I would like to speak with him as well in private but for a man who was exiled to return, there should be a reason and possibly a dire one that shouldn't be stalled, right cousin?" He added as he passed over he other guys.

[Will be giving Entry to Yuuto if given Permission]

As Yuuto sat on the orb waiting for anyone to approach the words of Gamahiro rung through his head. Before this crusade he had always been the fun loving type ready to help anyone in need, but ever since the dramatic shift he had become more stern and serious. Sometimes it felt like he was an entirely different person. The whole trip all Gamahiro talked about was the things that made him happy while Yuuto just recounted the story of an angry soldier. Although the elder toad had probably seen more bloodshed than Yuu could ever imagine and he still kept such a positive composure. Gamahiro had become more like a big brother in that conversation and his simple phrasing, to just talk things out and start fresh. Things couldn't be that simple could they?

Regardless of his current mood, it would seem he'd get his wish an audience with someone, and while it wasn't anyone he was seeking Yuuto was more than happy to oblige. The giant of a man who approached him was wielding a blade in size similar to Yuuto's, but the two weapons were -entirely- different that he could be sure of."Sure what's up?" He'g hd rise from his wooden orb outstretching a hand to the Anbu and clearly answering him with a yes. However things were never that simple.

Another person came from wood works gleeful as ever. It was his cousin Jinouga, the kid was kind of a recluse but he had a good heart and if he wasn't interacting he was likely training or hunting. His cousin would introduce himself happy to bring some type of familiarity to the situation. A smile would spread across his face, even when Jin released his views on what Yuuto did. It was good to have support but while Shin still was in charge it would likely do him better not to. "Thank you Jinouga but you should mind yourself, I set an example of what not to do." Even though Yuuto believed he had the best intentions he would never say that he went about it properly. Sometimes it's hard to trust but as Gamahiro said maybe Shin was a good guy, maybe the Raikage just didn't have enough map awareness to see what was going on around him.

"Wait, Jinouga I'm still an exile. Even if we don't agree with the circumstances I still committed the crimes and I'm man enough to confess that. I'll only step foot in if allowed and if so I assume I'd be brought to the Sileo before anything else. Stay with me for a while I have something to give to you and our clan. Let's hear Saru out before speaking on our own terms." He'd turn to approach Saru more forwardly and await for the man to ask his questions or say his piece. This was a Yuuto seeking more diplomacy with people and not judging them so harshly on first glance. Maybe he could inspire someone else to seek change as he had Fuu.

Kagura looked to the others with a frown behind the mask, though they wouldn't be able to see it.

"I cannot allow him to enter the village, even if a sennin were to order me to. The order to shut the gate to outsiders came from the Raikage and he is the one I would need to hear from to allow this entry. You may all speak here freely, but there will be no entry. That is final." she said, before stepping away to give them some privacy.

She'd keep an eye trained on them to make sure no funny business would go on, but she respected a families privacy.

With his bow slung on his shoulder, Kaname walked along the village gates. This tour was apart of his intention to better acquaint himself with the village he was born in. The gates would naturally be his starting point and he would eventually make his way to the center of the village. The winds tended to pick up near the entrance, raising goosebumps on his forearms. Kaname lifted up his hood and continued towards his destination. The closer he got to the gates, he noticed that there was a gathering of people, one of which he noticed right away, his cousin Yuuto. The other had a familiar appearance, short messy blonde hair and shorter athletic build of his younger relative Jinouga. While he had met with Yuuto since his return, Kaname rarely had any interaction with Jinouga, he was often one to keep to himself. It seemed that two were detained while waiting to enter the village.

"Nice little family reunion we got here, huh?" He would greet them with a small smile and join them by the gates. Kaname knew very little of Yuuto's actions, but understood that he had been forced to leave the village for quite some time. No matter what his actions, he was still a Masaru and as such would always have support from Kaname.

He turned to look at the masked woman from underneath his hood. She stood sentinel like away from the group, her stance strong and . Her refusal of entry must have definitely been caused by Yuuto's exile status. "If permitted , I too would like to wait with my clansmen."

[OOC: Sorry about delay... kinda had a shit week where I was denied a job (for being too intelligent) and my contract was cut down from being another 3 months to being another 2 and a half days (ended yesterday) with nothing I could do about it. Though at least I'm being paid till January despite no longer doing any further work for them.]

It seemed as though Yuuto was willing to talk, Akira had wanted to get a different perspective on things than his own bias one. Yet it seemed as though it wasn't to be.

Several others turned up, wanting to bring the exile inside the walls, though the exile knew that he wasn't allowed and was willing to adhere to his fate. Honourable.

Akira however no longer could have his conversation, not with so many others around, he had wanted it to be a more private conversation where there would be more truth and less need to deceive.

Looking at the others who entered the thread he looked back to Yuuto.

It seems as though there are others who demand your time who are more valuable to you. After all, apparently they were family, and Akira valued family and remembered what it was like to be parted from them when he had been exiled.

I will leave you be for now, but perhaps I might seek you out in future. If you see me approach in the future, know it will not be with ill intent.

He bowed his head slightly before turning to leave.

Yuuto waited for the Anbu to speak but the soldier seemed to change his mind when the disturbance of another arose Kaname, Yuuto’s other cousin. A look of sadness slightly overcame his eyes as he glanced at the young Cloud shinobi. See Jinouga did not have much interaction with anyone, but Kanme and Yuu had tried to get something going. He was supposed to induct the young man into Anbu but things seemed to not work out. It was likely not a conversation to have in front of a full fledged shadow shinobi but it would be something they could discuss in private.

“Ah hello Kaname give me a second with this gu…”

It would seem as though the mystery Anbu did not wish to wait. Instead he simply wished to allow him time with family.

“Thank you Saru, if I get an audience with the Kage, then I’ll be sure to look you up before I’m sent out again.”

Yuuto stood firmly as he listened to the woman from Kumogakure blabber about not letting him in. She was beginning to irritate Yuuto. However he would exhale not letting her constant show of authority show on his face. Instead he’d just wave the “gate guard” off while he went back to his camp.

“Walk with me fellas I’m sure you have a crap ton of questions and I have a lot of explaining to do.”

It would only take a minute to reach the small camp site again. Yuuto would brandish wooden cups clearly made from hand. He had a lot of time on his hands at the road and he needed bowls and cups. With a single handseal water would begin pouring from his palm as if summoned from the very air. Then he’d change seals each stroke a little more aggressive creating fire to heat the water of up. Yuuto was careful not exposing too much heat in order to control the tempature. When the water would begin to bubble he’d rummage through his pack and collect three tea bags to put into each cup. While the tea brewed the exile would then place a seal on the ground and summon a glass case out of it. Inside the case laid three chopped up lumps of meat.

“I caught three wolves on my home, gutted them, skinned them, and chopped em up. Want some wolf meat?”

He’d begin cooking awaiting for his cousins to begin asking their own questions and state their reasons for being here.
