Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Waving the shadows which had gathered to show him the text of the invitation away with a pass of his palm, Mikaboshi blew a frustrated sigh. How tedious, he thought. Normally he might enjoy such a distraction but given the events of the night thus far he found himself ill desiring any particular foray into the political machinations of this Lady Yasha. Still it seemed as if he would have no choice. Everything seemed to culminate with her in many ways. Glancing at the door, Mikaboshi's head moved slightly to the right as he considered the filtering of the light in through the cracks of the building. The blood sun was rising even as he dawdled. That gave him... roughly five hours before the sun set if his approximation was correct. Add to that a pair of hours for the beginning of the event and that culminated to a total of seven. Seven hours to prepare for what would, regardless of his current disinterest, inevitably be an auspicious meeting. As he thought on it, he had to admit that he found himself at least curious to meet Yasha if only because of her reputation. What sort of mistress had replaced him as the Lord of Night in the Wind Country? Either way it would be an educating encounter.

"You are hungry. Is there food here for you to eat?" Mikaboshi asked with a barely interested tone. The last thing he needed was the child embarrassing him in front of Yasha and it would give him some time to decompress and compartmentalize the information which he had been gathering at a break neck speed since his arrival on the scene of the murders.

Kurayami Tsuuyo smiled and shook her head. " I am very well settled my lord and my body is able to subsist on natural energy for three days after a normal meal. I am capable of preparing meals as well as armor, weapons, and clothing. " Seeing that Mikaboshi wasn't going to kill her out of spite she dared to come out of the closet and kneel at his feet so that she might find another way to serve him. As she moved forward some clothing and a box of pictures fell from a small cubby in the closet. One of the pictures had a large winged and armored male in three of the pictures with his face cut out. What Mikaboshi could see in the pictures was somehow familiar. Perhaps it was the background, or the weapons, the tavern behind the group in the first picture seemed reasonable. It was made of black-stone which absorbed light and generated heat. In another picture there was an odd set of chains with spikes lining the walls of an area that resembled a fighting arena or dojo. It seemed there were alot of clues in the pictures.

"Then busy yourself with something. We have a little bit of time between now and the ball and I require time to think." Mikaboshi instructed her. He was pleased to find that she was self-sufficient-- after all, acquiring food for a human whelp was not at the top of his priority list at the moment --but he kept it to himself. It was unnecessary and she had not done anything to earn praise.

With a flick of his wrist, shadows reached up from the ground and solidified beneath him as his body sat backwards into the air and into the waiting seat that had formed out of darkness given substance and then with a second motion he sent an anemic-looking claw of shadow out to where the photos had spilled out of the closet with the intent to gather them and bring them to where he sat. The photos stirred old memories in his mind though he had a hard time immediately placing them. Once more, just as with the first photo he had found, the face of what looked to be a male subject had been surgically removed from the picture. Perhaps to purge an old memory of belonging to someone else? The first picture frame he'd found read "Lady Yasha and the First". Were these further pictures of "The First?"

Gathering the photos up in his hands, Mikaboshi released them in the air before him and caught them in a web of his willpower forcing them to hover in the air before his eyes as he considered them.

As Mikaboshi inspected the pictures, several facts became easily discernable. The first was a male of shadow and flame lineage whom wielded a chain as a weapon. 'The First' had apparently gleaned enough substance to actually form wings that he could use to glide instead of distract and use as weapons. The man had been exceedingly tall, well over seven feet and bore a mark, the mark of the 'Wild Hunt' above the court symbol for his name. His symbolized was name was Bahlok the Hungerer. He was a direct descendant of he whom would become TARASQUE the Devourer. Slowly the tale of Bahlok came to mind in an ancient rhyme.

When the sun was sunken, he set out to visit
The lofty hall-building, how the BEAST-Demons had used it
For beds and benches when the banquet was over.
Then he found there reposing many a noble

Asleep after supper; sorrow the heroes.
Misery knew not, The monster of hunger
Greedy and cruel tarried but little,
He drags off thirty masters, and devours them like cattle
Fell, frantic, and forced from their slumbers
Thirty of ANCIENTS; thence he departed

Leaping and laughing, his lair to return to,
With surfeit of slaughter sallying homeward.
In the dusk of the dawning, as the day was just breaking,
Was BAHLOK’s prowess revealed to the remaining masters now waking
A cry of agony goes up, when BAHLOK’s horrible deed is fully realized.
Then, his meal-taking finished, a moan was uplifted, followed by stark cries

Morning-cry the mighty. The Primal Lords famous,
The long-worthy lost or dying, sat very woeful, and shamed thus
Suffering great sorrow, they sighed for their brothers,
When they had seen the track of the hateful pursuer,
The spirit accursed: too crushing that sorrow,
The monster returns the next night for more souls to swallow

Too loathsome and lasting.
Not longer he tarried,
But one night after continued his slaughter
Shameless and shocking, shrinking but little
Oh malice and murder; they did name him master.
He was easy to find then for whom ever dared look

A pleasanter place of repose in the lodges,
A bed in the bowers. Then was brought to his notice
Told him truly by token apparent
The Ancient Lord’s hatred: he held himself after
Further and faster who the foeman did baffle.

So ruled he and strongly strove against all so clever
Lone against all men, till empty up-towered
Homura’s agony and suspense last twelve celestials rites.
The choicest of houses. Long was the season of the darkest night:
Twelve-winters’ time of torture suffered
The friend of the predators, tasted every affliction,
Endless agony; hence it after became known was their mission
Certainly known to the children of men
THAT all sorrows befell even the mightiest of ancients and men

Sadly in measures, so strong was his aura that long against Homura
BAHLOK struggled:—his grudges he cherished,
Murderous malice, many a winter,

Strife unremitting, and peacefully wished he
Life-woe to lift from no liegeman at all of
The slaves of the Ancients, for money to settle,
No counsellor needed count for a moment
On handsome amends at the hands of the murderer;
BAHLOK is unremitting in his persecutions.
The monster of hunger fiercely did harass,
The ill-planning death-shade, both elder and younger,
Trapping and tricking them. He trod every night then
The mist-covered moor-fens; men do not know where
Witches and wizards wander and ramble.

So the foe of life and master of many hungers
Grievous injuries, often accomplished,
Horrible hermit; Hearts he frequented,
Gem-bedecked palace, when night-shades had fallen
God is against the monster.

’Twas a fearful affliction to the friend of the predators
The Lord and his council deliberate in vain.
Soul-crushing sorrow. Not seldom in private
Sat the Lord in his council; conference held they
What the braves should determine ’gainst terrors unlooked for.
They wielded and demanded the aid of their slaves
At the shrines of their slaves’ idols often they promised
Gifts and offerings, earnestly prayed they
The devil from hell would help them to lighten
Their people’s oppression. Such practice they used then,
Hope of the heathen; hell they remembered

In innermost spirit, Gods they knew not,
The true Gods they do not know.
Judge of their actions, All-wielding Rulers,
No praise could they give the Guardian of Heaven,
The Wielder of Glory. Woe will be his who
Through furious hatred his spirit shall drive to
The clutch of the fire, no comfort shall look for,
Wax no wiser; well for the man who,
Living his life-days, his Lord may face
And find defense in his Father’s embrace!


Mikaboshi began to suspect things were far, far, beyond what they seemed. Something beyond a simple mystery was occuring.

In a moment of clarity, memories came flooding back to the ancient lord as he inspected the pictures. Gesturing with his free hand, Mikaboshi silently willed the shadows in the home to come together beneath him and form together into a rudimentary seat for him to sit on. Falling backwards into the rapidly forming chair, Mikaboshi allowed himself to be lost in his own thoughts as he considered the ramifications of his realization. "The First" was someone that Mikaboshi recognized from the past. A lesser ancient from the Court of the Wild Hunt, Bahlok had taken after his lord but mercifully never treated the territory of consuming the spirit matter of other ancients. Rather, he got his name from the sheer amount of other spirits and mortals he devoured. Like a swarm of locusts, Bahlok was never satisfied with the prey he took and was always prowling for further fare. So much so that he became infamous for his bottomless gluttony.

So it seemed that after the dissolution of the Court of the Wild Hunt Bahlok had gone underground and decided to fully become a creature of Shadow or at least enough "The First" was claiming to be Bahlok. Mikaboshi knew that Bahlok had shared essence between the Shadow and Flame Courts despite belonging to the Wild Hunt so it made sense that when the court which he was most loyal to folded he would have gone to one of the two courts which ruled his nature. It seemed as if the savagery of the Shadow Court appealed enough to the glutton to make him choose it over the militaristic chaos of the Flame Court. Realizing that Bahlok's favored weapons had been chains, Mikaboshi narrowed his eyes at his own blindness. His fading memory was becoming more and more of a problem. Still further, this realization made it clear to him that he was most likely dealing with either an impersonator strong enough to assume Bahlok's name without consequences or Bahlok himself.

The Hungerer had been powerful in his day but still had only been a lesser ancient in his own right. At the height of both of their strengths, Bahlok would have been sorely mismatched against the Lord of Shadow even though he was not one of the Great Ancients. An ancient lord was still quite beyond a lesser ancient in power. But the obvious question loomed in his mind's eye; in his diminished state could he hope to battle a fully empowered Bahlok and come out on top? That was the question. Stowing the picture of Bahlok and Yasha within his gear, Mikaboshi relaxed into his arm-chair of shades and closed his eyes as he retreated further into his thoughts to organize all of the information he'd collected.

This whole endeavor had become something significantly more complicated than simply recovering a lost bauble. He mentally reminded himself to take that up with his beastial ally at their next meeting as he crossed his arms across his chest in thought. It would be an interesting conversation, to say the least.

All that remained for him now was to wait for the time of the ball and attend it to seek further information about Bahlok. It seemed likely that if there was some sort of contest going for one of these special wish-granting baubles to be awarded then he would almost certainly be there and if he still did not know Mikaboshi was looking for him... well. All the better for the sennin. He did always prefer to work from the shadows, after all.

Kurayami Tsuuyo smiled before she bowed her head. " I hope you approve of the mask and cloak I made for you master. "The hour came swiftly as the crimson light of the diminished sunlight finally gave way to the twilight of the forgotten moon as the movement of revelers and guards in their lightly oiled armors could be heard. The soft scent of mushrooms, wild bird, and potatoes cooked atop an iron plate above shadow flames wafted over his nose as Mikaboshi realized the young half ancient had prepared them both costumes and masks. He would have been sorely pressed to not find them of high quality as she had molded considerable amounts of shadow stuff into formidable armor for herself and shadow-silks made from combining darkness with spider-webs in an artistic and satisfying manner. He recognized the crests emblazoned upon them to be that of the Bahn-Tee family. There were droplets of black blood here and there where Kurayami Tsuuyo had deliberately cut herself ceremoniously in order to ensure the shadow armor, masks and clothing lasted the entire night without constant energy.
It seemed she had indeed mastered her crafts as the half ancient presented a mask and cloak to Mikaboshi for his inspection after having donned her own costume.

Taking the mask from Tsuuyo, Mikaboshi held in a grimace. The mask depicted a very clearly human countenance and it bothered him enough that he was trapped inside the meat suit that Sousuke had sealed him within. Still, there was a further limitation with the mask-- it was not the special material that Sousuke had forged to contain the ancient's spirit-self. If Mikaboshi removed the mask that he wore upon his face then his chakra would seep out of the imperfect vessel that the corpse that Mikaboshi wore as a body and eventually consume the body. The Hunger as Mikaboshi had come to call that instinctual part of himself was an insatiable creature that had no internal logic of it's own. It did not care if it destroyed itself in the process of destroying the body it inhabited.

"It is fine work." The compliment was accurate and well-earned. Even though he disliked it's appearance, the shadow-stuff that the mask was made of was keenly sculpted as if he'd taught the person doing so himself. Impressive for a human. Even more so for a child. "But I will proceed with my current mask."

He did not bother to share the reason with Tsuuyo. Partially because he didn't care to and partially because he felt she didn't need to know. The fact that his primal soul was not fully within his conscious control due to being split from the Black Blade where the remainder of his essence was still sealed was a great weakness that he did not need to become publicized. Crumbling the shadow energy of the mask into his hands, Mikaboshi rolled it about before merging with the energy of the cloak that Tsuuyo had made for him. It was well made but there were a few flares that Mikaboshi preferred for his own sake. Throwing the collective darkness around his shoulders, the gloom draped around him to the floor with plenty of give, the inside of the obsidian garment shimmering with the same midnight-blue hue of his transformed state's skin tone. About the shoulders were a heavier material which resembled leather patterned after the massive leathery wings that his true state sported... not unlike bat wings in their own right.

'Come Tsuuyo. We have a ball to attend."

Tsuuyo nodded and was happy that her work was even looked at despite it being absorbed and used elsewhere she was quite content with the thought that Mikaboshi sama might find her useful at all. As they stepped from the household where so many had been slain, the night air seemed to welcome and embrace them. They both found that their usage of shadow was greatly enhanced in this city despite the blood moon that claimed its sovereignty over the sky. The soft red light seemed to empower them making their costumes look far better than Tsuuyo's work had intended. The cobbled streets took on the color of blood and all the more the citadel of the winged people of the night looked more and more like Mikaboshi's original home. There were obvious cultural exchanges between the Ancients and the children of the night. As they approached the ball guards in distinct shadowed-iron field plate took over the security for the event ahead of the traditional undercover officers. The loss of life amongst the nobility had indeed been noticed and the Bahn-Tee clan was taking no chances with the Queen of the Night making a personal appearance tonight as the lady of the evening. Tsuuyo seemed to be completely in her element as she guided her lord to the ancient stone mansion where the ball was to take place. For Mikaboshi it resembled the extravagant quarters of a slave lord whom had ritually taken from their souls when they had ripened from labors in the dark mines. As he was guided in a manner that made sure no one touched him or got a clean look at him Mikaboshi could see she was well trained as both a guardian and a herald as she presented their invitations with great flourish and decisiveness. The ball lay beyond them and several large crowds had already gathered amongst themselves to await the lady. The politicals were to the far right, royalty sat amongst the tables. Young ladies of obvious status and skill lined the balustrades. Young men of varying manner of war like ability intermingled about the areas. The stage was set for Mikaboshi's entrance and flourish.

Mikaboshi paid no heed to the guards that stood at their stations here and there. Their mistress had gone out of her way to provide him an invitation to her little get together and if her guards were so ill-informed or foolish enough to think to stop him then they would suffer for it. His cloak billowed out behind him as he entered the main hall, the various lights in the hall dimming for a moment as the master of shadows came into their presence. Whether those present noticed or not was their prerogative, he did not care. As the sun had set, Mikaboshi had found the shadows around him amplified in power and strength and as a consequence of that they gathered about his person in an ambient fashion, swirling like smoke and dancing about his cloak and collar like playful sprites. It was the closest he'd come to what he'd once been in hundreds of years and in that moment Mikaboshi relished the feeling. He could feel the beating and shifting of each shadow around him as if each were his own plaything and the gratification that brought him was unlike any other feeling. With the onset of such power, he distantly toyed with the idea of preying upon one of the young warriors in the hall for sport but relinquished the idea immediately. He was here to honor the terms of his contract, not enjoy himself. There might be time for such butchery after his goal was achieved but he could not jeopardize his chances of meeting with this Lady of the Night by idly gutting one of her supplicants.

For now he would simply bide his time until such a moment where it was opportune for him to act. Darkness gratuitously swirling about his form as he entered the hall, Mikaboshi descended amongst the waiting folk like a shark casually swimming into a school of fish. He wondered if the other folk there knew what sort of creature had been invited into their midst and how they would react if his nature were revealed? With a fanged grin behind his mask, Mikaboshi digested that thought with relish.

He could hardly wait.

Tsuuyo slipped in amongst the revelers and guards amazed at the power that amassed itself around Mikaboshi-sama. Unbeknowst to Tsuuyo, Mikaboshi's essence clung to her so that he could track her amidst the guests of the ball without directly watching her to give away their small bond as it were. As she ascended the stairway to reach the balustrade over the northern most corner so she could take up a herald's traditional point of overwatch spectral chains phased through the very wall of the area behind her and snatched her into living shadows without so much as a whimper or the clink of chains connected to one another in hasty motion she was gone but Mikaboshi could feel her inherent position. Bahlok grasped the girl around her waist and held her high for inspection, as he noted her power and how well she was formed he noted the last precious gem he sought was truly within his grasp. "How kind of Hahvulon to remove you from that sealed chamber so that I may find the prize I have sought for centuries and claim the power over these children of the night for my own. So halfblooded... do you wish to be eaten? Vivisected? or do you actually choose to fight me over the gem your precious summons hid within you. If you could simply cough it up I would let you live since the slaying of normal or even rare halfblooded mortals bores me but I must make the offer it is the way of the deep to let their prey choose their demise"</COLOR><i></i>

Tsuuyo positively shook with rage that overpowered the natural fear Bahlok inspired."No... you will not have anything from me. I don't know what you think is hidden within me but even if it is there I will never let you have it. I AM IN THE SERVICE OF HAHVULON, Melda tár, YOU SHALL NOT CLAIM ME!!! ONLY MY LORD MAY TOUCH ME!!!"

Bahlok laughed, the sound was like gravel rubbed in dark black oil being gargled in a manner only a madman could consider as a state of glee. <COLOR color="red">"Such deception and intrigue, your ally was a true master to deceive you so well, you are simply a carrier for the vessel of power he sealed within you so that you may be sacrificed on the blood altar adding your power and life energy to Lady Yasha's... Yet if you simply yield to me you can have a greater fulfillment for your end as a part of me. Disavow the shadow lord and yield to me and I will make your ending quick. Cling to your master and follow the same horrible fate, I have planned for him since I deceived him into coming here to be my scapegoat."<i></i>

Tsuuyo faded from his grasp and attempted to run only to find a black wall of obsidian stone. She was trapped, she turned around and assumed a fighting stance as she inwardly prayed for Mikaboshi to come for her.

"I am disappointed, Bahlok."

Mikaboshi's words echoed from the shadows around them, his presence suddenly filling the space around Bahlok and Tsuuyo. It was not simply his physical presence but his spiritual one was well. Each pool of shadow and wisp of living darkness felt as though it were a manifestation of his very spirit, utterly chilling and totally without empathy.

"I clearly granted you more credit than you deserved. I figured that you would be more cautious in this game between us. That you would have played the game less recklessly." Mikaboshi's voice laughed at the arrogance in Bahlok's assertion that he'd deceived Mikaboshi into coming to the ball. "But in the end you are boring. Pedestrian. You're like a child. I dangle what you want in front of you for moments and you cannot help but stumble over yourself while reaching for it."

The masked visage of Mikaboshi draped in his long black cloak emerged from the shadows behind Tsuuyo, exhumed from the darkness as if he were the shadows themselves coming to life. With wisps of blackness clinging to his mantle as he stepped in front of Tsuuyo and motioned for her to step back, Mikaboshi clasped his hands behind his back underneath his cloak and fixed the embers of his burning stare squarely on Bahlok. Before he had wondered if he had with him enough strength to battle with the other ancient but empowered in this place as he was Mikaboshi felt stronger than ever. The gloom which orbited his form bubbled along with his irritation at being so let down by Bahlok's recklessness.

"You are not prepared for this battle, Bahlok. Throw yourself at my feet and beg my mercy and perhaps I will let you keep your utterly unremarkable life after you've surrendered the bounty which you claimed from the bat-kin's corpses to me." Mikaboshi's eyes flashed with threat of violence as he spoke. "I have only a small amount of patience left. Do not test it."

"Aaah Hahvulon, You have completed your task ahead of schedule and brought the final part of the gem to me. Once I complete the gem's construction I will become lord of the Koumori Clan and as such I can grant you the reward of the service of the bat kin. Simply give me the halfblooded... she is nothing to you. She's just another treacherous human after the power of our lost people. Think of how easy it would be to devour her and reclaim the power sealed within her."<i></i> The chains wielded by Bahlok glowed a bright crimson as shadow flames of hell surged to life.

"Think Lord Hahvulon, think of all you have lost, every two centuries this gem grants a wielder of great power a single wish. I have all the portions of the gem within my grasp and now I can become ruler of these creatures. With their souls I can revive the ancients of my lost house and redeem the honor of the house of shadow and flame. You tell me to kneel before a fallen lord whom was tricked into giving up his kindred and his kingdom by a pact with humans whom treat you as a bauble. I have my own pride as well, I could never kneel before someone weaker than I am. I am obligated to acknowledge you because of your once great past but it is you whom is no longer a match for me. You didn't even recognize me when I deceived you into finding where the sacred gem was hidden. So truly Lord Hahvulon, do you really want to face the new lord of the Wild Hunt in such a decrepit state? Do you even remember the power a Lord of Shadow should truly wield? I offer you a choice... join me and use these bat kin to revive our people and be our servants. They are capable of being the perfect slaves unlike the treacherous humans."<i></i>

The sigh that escaped Mikaboshi's lips was the only sign that the last of the patience he'd deigned to grant Bahlok had disintegrated into the aether.

[SCENE BGM]

"Disappointing to the end, then. I was willing to show you a modicum of mercy out of respect for our shared history but you have escalated this conflict between us from a simple conflict of interest to a full assault on my reputation and legacy. Such a challenge must be met with all the means at my vast disposal." Lifting his right hand, Mikaboshi gestured as he sneered and the shadows convulsed for a heartbeat as they came alive with his power. Inky shades congregated around both of his arms forming large sets of menacing talons and the mantle he wore about his form quivered as his energy entered into it. "I am going to hurt you in ways that they will talk about for generations. If they speak of you at all, the only thing which will be said of Bahlok the Hungerer is the story of how he foolishly goaded the ire of Hahvulon and was painfully cast to the winds like dust in reparation for his affrontry."

Mikaboshi lashed his hand forward and suddenly between them there would be a battle of wills. The oppressive darkness around Bahlok shivered as Mikaboshi entered Bahlok's mind and looked to manipulate his perceptions. The illusion which the former Deep Lord brought upon the Hungerer was one of flames and pain. It enhanced the sensitivity of the physical body and robbed it's victim of any sense of pain threshold. Warriors who had long since grown used to the aches and agony of battle would be as children in the clutches of the curse that Mikaboshi looked to bring upon Bahlok. But that was not the only gift that Mikaboshi brought down upon his opponent. In the same moment as Bahlok's will struggled against Mikaboshi's mental assault, Mikaboshi's energy influenced a change in the air around Bahlok's physical body with yet another simple gesture from his hand. Suddenly the oxygen around where Bahlok was standing became fuel for an intense burst of ravenous viridian-black flames which sought to catch the Hungerer and immolate him.

With the two-fanged assault of the curse that Bahlok undoubtedly struggled against to resist and the burning flames of his immolation spell set against his opponent, the darkness reached out and consumed Mikaboshi's physical form causing him to simply vanish from sight. An expert at manipulating the powers of light and shadow to in turn manipulate the way others looked upon him, Mikaboshi could walk completely unseen even during battle if he so chose to do so. And thus no trace of the deep one remained save for the agony of his curse and the licking flames of his dark fire sorcery.

[Mikaboshi is doing a number of things this round. The two-pronged curse/fire attack is Phoenix's Embrace in combination with Spontaneous Combustion. His shadow claws are Partial Transformation using the HP regeneration of my Solar Seal and the Gen DC/% increase effect of my Hell Seal. Ancient Chimera
A Dark, forbidden technique that has been created in many forms, secretly developed throughout the shinobi world in an attempt to gain special powers normally unacquirable by normal means. Whether it be a country's attempt to steal the kekkei genkai of other shinobi nations and use their powers for their own, or on a personal level to compensate for an individual's own lack of power, one cannot deny the appealing aspect of having control and mastery over multiple kekkei genkai; to be a hybrid breed possessing the special secret techniques of many clans throughout the world. This forbidden practice alters the body of the user in such a way as to allow them to integrate the energies and capabilities of a shinobi into their own body and spirit, merging the two together and creating a hybrid mix, the user becoming a "Chimera" and possessing the strength and traits of their multiple mixes. While in theory one would assume this would create the perfect breed, a mixture of all the most powerful genetics, in practice one can never truly master these abilities, and the "Chimera" suffer from having their body's vitality and life force drained upon the strain of merging with foreign Bloodlines.

Effect:
The user gains the ability to integrate the secrets and strength of a shinobi into their own body, mind and spirit. Upon gaining this ability, this allows them to gain an additional full Bloodline or Core Ability of the body they absorbed. The Ancient Chimera's body becomes strained and weakened by merging with other bodies, and the chimera has -2 to both their Hp and Cp Mod for Each Bloodline or Core Ability after their first, up to -4 Hp/Cp.
Though the Chimera has multiple Bloodline and Core abilities, all passive buffs, effects and modifiers are reduced by 1/3 if the user has two BL/CA's. 1/2 if the user has four bloodlines.

The passive effects are constantly active, the ancient chimera may only have the full repertoire of two Activated techniques, jutsu, styles, or special moves of two BL/CA at a time. The Ancient Chimera may switch to another two BL/CA’s at any time as a free action. However, this cannot be done reflexively and gives the user a stackable -2 to all secondaries for the remainder of the round switched. The Chimera may not maintain any of these techniques upon switching to two different BL/CA’s, and all effects of the first two BL/CA are dispelled immediately.


Gaze of Enslavement - C-Rank Will Genjutsu

Though their powers of attuning and linking with chakra is far more powerful and effective with physical bodies and energy, the chimera's ability to sync may also extend to mental limits as well. By attuning their mind to that of a target with a simple gaze, the Chimera may alter and imprint a powerful illusion deep into the mind of the target, the chakra taking the form of red eye-shaped seal upon the forehead of the target, before fading away from view. This allows the chimera to put others in a hypnotic trance while under this Genjutsu, the eyes of the victim glowing red while they carry out the order forced into their mind.

Life Drain - C-Rank Ninjutsu

Naturally having their bodies altered enough to completely absorb the genetic structure and abilities of shinobi, copying the abilities of their lineage, the Chimera are able to use their absorbic capabilities one a smaller scale to drain the energy of victim with a touch, sapping away at their life force and energy while converting it into raw energy to fuel their own hybrid body.

Special Action: The user may choose to focus entirely on Absorbing Hp or Cp damage should they choose. Should they choose Hp only, the Cp damage negated and instead added to Hp damage. Should they focus on Cp, this attack deals no Hp damage, but Cp damage is doubled.

- Does not require handseals, and uses Melee accuracy.
- This technique is a Non Elemental Ninjutsu.
- The user gains Hp and Cp equal to 50% of the damage done by this technique.

Mystical Replication - B-Rank Ninjutsu

While their greatest strength by far requires a lengthy absorptive process to retain and comprehend the full genetic material of a shinobi, the skills of a Chimera can also function in a much more time-friendly fashion. By simply touching the skin of living being, the chimera can directly absorb and copy aspects of a target and both understand and use them immediately. However, though very convenient, this method does not allow the chimera to retain the copied aspects of the victim indefinitely nor does it allow them to absorb multiple skills simultaneously, generally fading away shortly after use or when overwritten with a newer power. With training, this allows the Chimera to maintain their stolen skills longer, and even temporarily seal the copied aspect from the source of it themselves.

Master Rank: Allows the Chimera to absorb a Single BL/CA Skill from a target. If they seal their copied skill, the Chimera gains +2 to their Ninjutsu check, and the technique is unusable for two full Rounds.

Special Action: When replicating a skill, the user may attempt to "Seal" the technique from the target, preventing them from gaining any effects of the chosen skill. This requires a Ninjutsu check between the user and the target, and causes this jutsu to have +50% Initiation cost, and an increased maintain cost for the duration of the "seal".

- This does not require handseals, and uses Melee or Ninjutsu Accuracy.
- The user may only Copy one BL/CA Skill at a time, if this is used again the skill is overwritten.

Infinite Abyss - B-Rank Ninjutsu

A dark technique granted by their kinjutsu, the Chimera naturally have the ability to merge and absorb the bodies of others and claim their techniques for their own...And naturally, one could assume that their abilities could be used a smaller scale to directly absorb the chakra right out of the air. This technique allows a Chimera to forcibly extract the physical and spiritual energy of another ninja and absorb it by deconstructing it into raw energy. This allows them to understand and learn the technique, allowing them to use the remnants of the energy for limited time to replicate the effects as their own.

Master Rank: Allows the user to break down the energy behind a Ninjutsu into raw chakra, and absorb it temporarily. This requires a Ninjutsu check against the attack, and if successful, negates the technique. If unsuccessful, the user has -2 Dodge against the attack. This may only be done on Jutsu E-A Rank once per round.

Note:
- This does not require handseals, may be used reflexively, and applies to almost any Offensive Ninjutsu excluding Kinjutsu techniques.
- If unsuccessful and the user is hit, the user take's +10% damage to the technique they attempted to absorb.
- Up to three Jutsu may be memorized, any more will require one to be overwritten.
- If a technique is successfully absorbed, the Chimera may use that jutsu normally for the remainder of battle at the rank it was absorbed.
- This may be used on Most BL/CA Jutsu, however does not apply to ones which require special Bloodline Properties, Such as a Aburame's Bug Ninjutsu, A Toujigikou's Clay Ninjutsu, a Hachiashi's Web Jutsu, a Tsuchimikado's Tag-Jutsu, etc. If the user does not have the needed source, it would not apply.

Dark Judgment - A-Rank Ninjutsu

A secret technique that may only be performed after a successful use of Infinite Abyss, this technique converts the absorbed energy into light blue flames of pure, dark energy. Though appearing as flames, this jutsu does not appear to have any innate fire-like qualities, or physical properties at all, and passes through all forms of protection while striking both the body and soul of the victim simultaneously. The chakra usage behind this technique is minimal since it primarily draws strength from the absorbed energy, however using this technique removes the energy which allowed the chimera to replicate their absorbed powers, preventing further usage of the absorbed Jutsu.

- This jutsu does not require handseals, but requires at least one Memorized Technique from Inhaling Maw to be sacrificed to perform. Jutsu used in this technique can no longer be used, unless reabsorbed by Infinite Abyss.
- This technique is a "Dark Element" Ninjutsu and bypasses all barriers and damage reduction. This Jutsu may be Buffed by any buffs that would Buff the absorbed Ninjutsu.

Dark Avatar of Ancients - S-Rank Ninjutsu

The epitome of perfection that all Chimera Strive for; becoming the perfect creation through a mixture of stolen abilities imbued into their bodies and soul. This technique allows a Chimera for a time to draw forth all their abilities simultaneously to release a massive aura of chakra that radiates intensely off their bodies, rising off in sparks of energy and granting them capabilities all but unheard of in the world of Shinobi. Their powers in this stage seem to be border-line unbelievable, the capabilities and techniques earned through absorbing the abilities passed down and honed by generations of shinobi becoming little more than party tricks in the seemingly infinite repertoire of skills. However, this increase surge to all their abilities rapidly drains their vitality, and could leave them in a dangerous situation.

Master Rank: Releases all limits upon their body, forcing themselves into a heightened state of power with simultaneous access to all their abilities. While Active, the user may use All skills from the Bloodline and Core Abilities they may possess, but costs +20% CP and grants +10% damage

- When active, the user's cumulative BL/CA passive buffs are increased by 1 or 10%. This only applies to Secondary Buffs, Awareness, Stealth, Damage buffs, Damage Reduction, and chakra cost reduction Buffs. This powerful doujutsu give's this clan a variety of abilities that range from perfect mimicry, to casting some of the most deep illusions without so much as a blink of an eye. Many fear the abilities of the Uchiha, and rightly so, for there is hardly an Uchiha that is not destined for greatness within the shinobi world.

Sharingan - Activated Passive
The Sharingan is a unique Eye condition occurring only to those with Uchiha blood. Rumor has it that these eyes stemmed from the Byakugan as a mutation, and they do have similar properties to back this theory up such as allowing the user to view chakra. The Sharingan allows the user to comprehend the attack of an opponent almost before the attacker knows what attack they are making, this is done through tracking their movements by studying their chakra. The user's proficiency with this ability is visible through the amount of Tomoe circling the pupil, and with more mastery, the user will unlock more and more of it's capabilities.

The possess a burning passion deep within them which can never be truly quenched, their undying flame allowing them to seemingly bring forth the potential of flames far better than anyone else could ever attempt, or desire.

Insidious Gaze - Passive
Perhaps the most deadly of the well-known Uchiha abilities is a nameless genjutsu that they are capable of putting opponents under in order to alter their perceptions. In reality, this is simply the Uchiha's ability to utilize their genjutsu talents by simply gazing into the eye's of a victim with their hypnotic sharingan, casting an illusion upon those who meet their gaze.

Rank 1: Genjutsu may be cast through the Sharingan, requiring no handseals and gaining +1 DC
Rank 2: Genjutsu may be cast through the Sharingan, requiring no handseals and gaining +1.5 DC
Rank 3: Genjutsu may be cast through the Sharingan, requiring no handseals and gaining +2 DC

Special Action: When casting Genjutsu through eye contact, the user may choose to activate a special effect. If chosen then the Genjutsu cannot be partially effective. Should the Genjutsu be 50% or more successful it is treated as a full hit, otherwise it is treated as a miss.

Precognition - Passive
The Sharingan wields the power to allow the user to view chakra visibly in their environment so long as it is active. With training, the Uchiha are able to focus this trait to the point where they can track the movements of their opponents by honing in on their chakra; a skill that enables them to view movements before they are made and react accordingly, giving the illusion that the Sharingan may see into the future.

Rank 1: +6% Auto Hit to all attacks.
Rank 2: +8% Auto Hit to all attacks.
Rank 3: +10% Auto Hit to all attacks.

Copy Skill - Activated Passive
Probably the most infamous trait of the Sharingan is it's ability to perfectly memorize anything its gaze wanders upon with perfect detail, allowing the Uchiha to mimic techniques nearly simultaneously as a victim performs them, which has manifested itself as legend that they can see the future.

Rank 1: Allows the user to use and copy any level 1-4 Jutsu used during the last round.
Rank 2: Allows the user to use and copy any level 1-6 Jutsu used during the last round.
Rank 3: Allows the user to use and copy any Jutsu used during the last round.


Cost: This skill costs no Ap or Cp, however all copied jutsu cost normal Ap and their Cp/Hp costs are increased by +20%.

Notes:
- The user's Sharingan must have been active during the time the jutsu was used, and the user must have had full vision of the target.
- When used, the user chooses any jutsu from the previous round and may use it regardless of whether they know it or not. After use, this Jutsu is memorized, and may be used for the remainder of the battle.
- All copied jutsu have a 5% of failing per Jutsu Level (A level seven would have a 35% Chance of failing, for example).
- Only 3 techniques can be remembered at once. Further copying would require the user to overwrite previously memorized techniques, costing Cp equal to 2x the forgotten Jutsu's cost.
- The user must meet the Rank and stat requirements to use a Jutsu (A C-Rank cannot copy a Level 8, for example), and may not copy Bloodline, Core Ability, or Kinjutsu techniques.
- These techniques are copied at the rank they were used, and may be remembered and used for the remainder of the battle.
- User must be wielding the correct weapon(s) to copy a Taijutsu and must be able to perform handseals to replicate a Ninjutsu or Genjutsu.

Hypnotic Suggestion - Doujutsu Genjutsu
The Sharingan's ability to induce illusions into the minds of others is a powerful one, that the Uchiha can learn to overcome the mind and senses of another, subtly altering their mind to put them under a powerful hypnosis, an issuing them commands without the victim even second guessing their own manipulated thoughts.

Rank 1: Allows the Uchiha to hypnotize their target at -2 Gen DC, causing them to either attack a target with a level 1-4 Jutsu, Use/Drop/equip/unequip an item, Switch/Drop/Enter a style, or remain motionless for 1 Ap.
Rank 2: Allows the Uchiha to hypnotize their target at -1 Gen DC, causing them to either attack a target with a level 1-5 Jutsu, Use/Drop/equip/unequip an item, Switch/Drop/Enter a style, or remain motionless for 1.5 Ap.
Rank 3: Allows the Uchiha to hypnotize their target, causing them to either attack a target with a level 1-6 Jutsu, Use/Drop/equip/unequip an item, Switch/Drop/Enter a style, or remain motionless for 2 Ap.

Cost: 2 AP; 400 Cp to initiate.

The Mangekyou Sharingan is a heightened form of Sharingan, and is distinguished from a normal Sharingan through its appearance, which changes the form of the tomoe. The appearance of the mangekyou differs from user to user based upon their own traits, there are hardly ever two Uchiha with the same pattern. In this stage the Sharingan is far more powerful and has the potential to utilize very powerful techniques, although the sheer amount of chakra utilized can have damaging backlash upon the User's eyesight, slowly deteriorating their Vision.

Rank 2: +2.5 Dodge, +2.5 Accuracy.
Rank 3: +3 Dodge, +3 Accuracy.

Tsukiyomi - Doujutsu Genjutsu
Utilizes the Mangekyou sharingan to create a hellish genjutsu of which the user has complete control. This technique is feared and believed the most powerful Genjutsu, and can last anywhere from 24 to 72 hours in the targets mind, but in reality only lasts a couple seconds. While powerful, this technique causes immense strain upon the user's eye's and leaves them vulnerable by damaging their eyesight, and cannot be used without resting the eye's first.

Rank 1: An illusion that creates a round within a round during which the victim cannot take any actions and suffers -2 dodge. In the illusion, the user gets AP equal to their AP/1.5. When the illusion ends the user will have only spent chakra equal to 50% of the chakra spent in the illusion and the victim only takes damage equal to 50% of the damage dealt to them in the illusion.
Rank 2: An illusion that creates a round within a round during which the victim cannot take any actions and suffers -3 dodge. In the illusion, the user gets AP equal to their AP/1.5 +.5. When the illusion ends the user will have only spent chakra equal to 50% of the chakra spent in the illusion and the victim only takes damage equal to 60% of the damage dealt to them in the illusion.
Rank 3: An illusion that creates a round within a round during which the victim cannot take any actions and suffers -4 dodge. In the illusion, the user gets AP equal to their AP/1.5 +1. When the illusion ends the user will have only spent chakra equal to 50% of the chakra spent in the illusion and the victim only takes damage equal to 70% of the damage dealt to them in the illusion.


Cost: 3 AP; 2000 Cp, Hp equal to 20% of the final damage done.

- Requires Mangekyou Sharingan to be activated, and Eye contact.
- All battle rules remain the same if not mentioned.
- Jutsu that last more than one round end when the illusion does.

- All damage done in this illusion is "Illusionary" And damage cannot be reduced. Jutsu used in the Tsukiyomi cannot be buffed by Non-Genjutsu effects.
- Physical debuffs, such as bleed, poison and Nin/Tai debuffs and effects do not transfer into or out of the Tsukiyomi created world, but mental ones, generally genjutsu based, do.
- Because the Tsukiyomi is instantaneous and lasts a few seconds at most, this does not dispel any other Genjutsu active on the victim.

Amaterasu - Doujutsu Ninjutsu
While Tsukuyomi is considered the most powerful Genjutsu, this technique is it's counterpart, claimed to be the most powerful Ninjutsu, and with good reason too. This infamous Technique creates Hellish Jet-black Flames spontaneously at the center of the user's vision, and once released these flames are said to burn for days without end before becoming extinguished. These cursed flames are said to be as hot as the sun, and little is capable of stopping this fire from consuming everything in it's path...Except for the Bleeding of the user's eye's as a result of the tremendous energy released from the sharingan.

Rank 1: Ignites the Uchiha's point of vision in black flames at +2 accuracy, causing 2,000 Fire Damage a round.
Rank 2: Ignites the Uchiha's point of vision in black flames at +2 accuracy, causing 2,400 Fire Damage a round.
Rank 3: Ignites the Uchiha's point of vision in black flames at +2 accuracy, causing 2,850 Fire Damage a round.

Special Action - Kagutsuchi: Instead of Covering a target in Amaterasu, the user may coat themselves in a shield of Black Flames, Hp equal to Amaterasu +40%. This effect lasts one round, and if a melee attack is used against the user the attacker must make a Ninjutsu check against the Uchiha to determine if they take damage equal to "Amaterasu's" Damage. A target may only take damage from attacking this barrier once per round.

Costs:
Rank 1: 3 Ap; 2,000 Cp and 670 Hp to initiate, 630 Hp and 320 Cp per round maintained.
Rank 2: 3 Ap; 2,250 Cp and 750 Hp to initiate, 715 Hp and 360 Cp per round maintained.
Rank 3: 3 Ap; 2,500 Cp and 840 Hp to initiate, 800 Hp and 400 Cp per round maintained.

Notes:
- Requires Mangekyou Sharingan to be activated.
- After the initial "To-Hit" roll, Amaterasu automatically deals it's fire damage to its target every round without fail as long as the Uchiha can still see their target. As such, this may only be used on one target at a time.
- The first round damage is dealt as soon as Amaterasu hits but hits at the beginning of every round after.
- Amaterasu automatically bypasses barriers, armors and shields and also ignores any and all Damage Reduction.
- Damage done and blocked may be increased with Fire buffs.
- This jutsu does not stack in any way or form.
- The special is considered a Chakra Armor.

Nara
A rather odd, yet unique clan native to the Fire country, those of the Nara clan are gifted with two unique mental traits that surpass all other shinobi; their uncanny Intelligence that can easily be higher and sharper than Multiple shinobi combined...and their incredible laziness when it comes down to putting forth any amount of work or energy. The Nara are undeniably some of the sharpest geniuses in the world, their minds thinking both swiftly and possessing the ability to think multiple lines of thoughts simultaneously and have each arrive to conclusions faster than normal shinobi can process one thought. Yet, their laziness seems to be a birthright just as much as their intelligence, and the Nara have absolutely no motivation other than napping under the clouds all day. their abilities aren't simply limited to being Mental; Each possesses the ability to use a special type of jutsu that involves manipulating the shadows of themselves and their environment to a variety of effects.

Slippery Mind - Passive
Nara clansmen are naturally smart and quick on their feet, formulating multiple courses of actions for nearly any scenario imaginable in mere seconds...and nearly subconsciously as well. a Nara can easily disassemble even the smallest of actons and understand the true intents and stratagies of those fighting them, even be able to deduce and guess at their target's lines of thoughts with precise accuracy by simply studying their movements and actions for a few seconds. No matter how well thought out, there is almost no way to fool a Nara through even complex courses of actions.

Rank 1: +1 Gen Save and Awareness.

Shadow Tactics - Passive
The Nara have a unique affinity to shadows and shade of all types, and by simply remaining within the cover of shadows, they are able to manipulate them to assist themselves naturally, the Nara becoming, stronger, so long as they remain within the cover of darkness, no matter how weak.

Rank 1: +5% Damage while in shade. While maintaining a bind or resting, they gain +1% HP/CP per round.
Rank 2: +5% Damage, +.5 Accuracy while in shade. While maintaining a bind or resting, they gain +2% HP/CP per round
Rank 3: +10% Damage, +1 Accuracy while in shade. While maintaining a bind or resting, they gain +3% HP/CP per round.

Shadow Bend - Passive
The Nara clan are known for its intricate skills involving the manipulation of shadows. This ability allows the Nara to fabricate techniques from the voids of darkness to strike their targets in a myriad of ways.

Rank 1: May convert Fire and Water Jutsu into Shadow by paying an additional 20% Chakra Cost.
Rank 2: May convert Fire and Water Jutsu into Shadow by paying an additional 10% Chakra Cost.
Rank 3: May convert Fire and Water Jutsu into Shadow at no extra cost.

Notes:
- All Shadow jutsu receive +5% Damage per rank.
- The Nara automatically has access to the Shadow element.
- All techniques used with this are treated as Shadow element.

Nara Strategy - Passive
Almost as if the gods created the title "Tensai" only for those of Nara blood, the clan tightly guards secret levels of strategy that is said to be without peer, although the amount of study it requires to reach this level of mastery might be what burns them out and turns them so commonly lazy. This skill does not require nor stack with regular Strategy.

Rank 1: The Nara is treated as if having the Strategy Ability
Rank 2: Strategy now has +1 prepared slot available.
Rank 3: Strategy now has +2 prepared slots available.

Notes:
- Strategy does not count towards their ability Limit.

Shadow Possession- Shadow Binding Technique
A unique jutsu in which the Nara are capable of manipulating their own shadows size and shape in an attempt to bind themselves to their target by connecting their shadows. The shadow moves slow, and is easily avoided by the attentive, often requiring the Nara to make a quick diversion to use this successfully. However, once successful, any physical action the user performs is perfectly imitated the the victim.

Rank 1: Binds a single target at -6 Accuracy
Rank 2: Binds up to two targets at -5 Accuracy.
Rank 3: Binds up to three targets at -4 Accuracy.

Costs: 1 AP. 400 Cp per target, 100 Cp/Rnd per target.

Notes:
- This technique suffers -1 Accuracy for each target after the first.
- The bound victim cannot move. They may however use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu that do not require handseals.
- The victim may pay 1 AP for a 15% Chance to Escape the bind.
- If the user attacks the victim then this bind is broken (with the victim receiving -3 Dodge to the attack). If the victim takes damage then this bind is dispelled.
- If the user takes more than 10% of their Max HP as damage from one attack then, this bind is dispelled.
- The user may use Shadow Neck Bind at 0 AP Timing while maintaining this bind. Shadow Neck Bind does not break this bind.

Shadow Neck Bind - Shadow Strangulation Jutsu
While an opponent is caught inside the user's Shadow Possession jutsu, the Nara clansmen may expend extra chakra to have their own shadow reach up and interact to the bound opponent in any way the Nara see's fit or imagines. However, the Nara clansmen may not move while performing this technique, leaving them vulnerable when facing multiple opponents.

Rank 1: Strangles a bound enemy with shadows, dealing 1490 Dmg/Rnd.
Rank 2: Strangles a bound enemy with shadows, dealing 1860 Dmg/Rnd.
Rank 3: Strangles a bound enemy with shadows, dealing 2230 Dmg/Rnd.

Costs:
Rank 1 Cost: 2 AP, 450 Cp to Initiate per target, 225 Cp/Rnd per target.
Rank 2 Cost: 2 AP, 560 Cp to Initiate per target, 280 Cp/Rnd per target.
Rank 3 Cost: 2 AP, 680 Cp to Initiate per target, 340 Cp/Rnd per target.

Notes:
- Lasts up to three rounds, then must be Reused.
- When in use, the user suffers -3 Dodge.
- Can only be used on a target effected by Shadow Possession.
- Each rank of this jutsu gives the victim a +20%/15%/10% chance of breaking free from Shadow Possession per rank of this jutsu used.
- Damage cannot be increased or reduced.
- This may only effect a target once a round.

Shadow Constriction - Shadow Restraining Technique
A technique which uses the Nara clansmen's chakra to cause shadows in the form of hands to extend from shady ground, grabbing the opponent. This kind of shadow binding can be escaped through force, and resisted easily, though is much quicker and difficult to avoid compared to Shadow Possession.

Rank 1: Creates 3 hands of shadows that attempt to grab a target each at -2 Accuracy.
Rank 2: Creates 4 hands of shadows that attempt to grab a target each at -1.5 Accuracy.
Rank 3: Creates 4 hands of shadows that attempt to grab a target each at -1 Accuracy.

Cost: 2 AP, 600 Cp to initiate, 150 Chakra/Round to maintain

Notes:
- If the opponent is caught by 1 or more hands they receive a -1.5 to their dodge, plus -.5 for every hand after the first.
- At the time of casting the user must remain stationary, giving them a -3 dodge to the next technique aimed at them. Once it has been cast the user may move as normal.

Displacement Shade - Activated Passive
The Nara clansmen have become proficient enough with their special affinity to shadows, that through careful manipulation of the their chakra, they can emulate the effect of their own techniques through their shades and strike literally from the shadows. It is rumored that at the Nara can even the possess the shadows of the enemy and turn them against them. However, as these are handseal based, shadow techniques of the clan as well as non-handseal jutsu cannot be given the same effect.

Rank 1: The Nara can delay a Ninjutsu up to one round, to be used from their shadow at a later point.
Rank 2: The Nara can delay a Ninjutsu up to two rounds, to be used from their shadow at a later point.
Rank 3: The Nara can delay a Ninjutsu up to three rounds, to be used from their shadow at a later point.

Special Action: The Nara can use the jutsu from any shadows in sight, including that of the enemy instead of their own shadow. Doing so this way doubles the additional Cp cost, but has a 20% chance of being treated as a sneak attack per round delayed.

Cost: +20% Ap and +15% Cp per round Delayed. The amount of time delayed is chosen when using this technique.

Notes:
- a Jutsu must be delayed by 1 round, minimum.
- This is modded as if it costs no Ap.
- Can only be used twice per round
- Can only be used with Ninjutsu, and cannot be used with the Jutsu Creator ability.
- Delayed Ninjutsu gain +1 Accuracy per round Delayed.

Shadow Threads - Shadow Jutsu
Unlike the slower, more subtle Shadow Binding Technique, the Shadow threads send the user's shadow out in a tangle of searching tendrils that spring off of the ground like dark threads and can either be used to spear or ensnare the enemy. The user can have the threads do a combination of these, some spearing and some catching, making this a very versatile technique.

Rank 1: Creates 6 threads that spear the enemy, each dealing 295 piercing damage at +2 Accuracy. Instead of spearing a target, A thread may bind them, inflicting a -.5 dodge/accuracy penalty plus -.5 dodge/accuracy for each thread beyond the first that catches them.
Rank 2: Creates 7 threads that spear the enemy, each dealing 315 piercing damage at +2 Accuracy. Instead of spearing a target, A thread may bind them inflicting a -1 dodge/accuracy penalty plus -.5 dodge/accuracy for each thread beyond the first that catches them.
Rank 3: Creates 8 threads that spear the enemy, each dealing 330 piercing damage at +2 Accuracy. Instead of spearing a target, A thread may bind them, inflicting a -1.5 dodge/accuracy penalty plus -.5 dodge/accuracy for each thread beyond the first that catches them.

Rank 1 Cost: 2.5 AP, 640 Cp to Initiate, 50 Cp/Rnd per thread.

Notes:
- This can be split against multiple targets.
- This jutsu gains all buffs applying to Ninjutsu.

- Tn addition to the secondary penalty, each thread restrains the victim's actions, giving them a 4% chance to fail an action for each thread.
- This jutsu is dispelled if the user takes damage equal to 15% their Max Hp in a round.

Negative Space - Shadow Genjutsu
A Genjutsu that originated as a prank, its effects in combat are said to be similar to that of the Shadow Dance... Assuming you ever got to see the Nara after they appear behind your back. The Nara appears to vanish in the eye's of the target, their body seeming to be engulfed by shadows and masking all sounds, leaving behind only the image of their own shadow with gleaming eyes staring up at the target in a threatening fashion.

Rank 1: Causes a target to see the Nara fade into shadows and away from view. The Nara is treated as if in Stealth Mode until their next attack. After they have made an attack they are no longer in stealth. At the end of the round, the user gains a +2 Stealth bonus to a stealth check.
Rank 2: Causes a target to see the Nara fade into shadows and away from view. The Nara is treated as if in Stealth Mode until their next attack. After they have made an attack they are no longer in stealth. At the end of the round, the user gains a +3 Stealth bonus to a stealth check.

Cost: 2.5 AP, 840 Cp to initiate, 280 Cp/Rnd.

Notes:
- Functions as a Will/Visual/Audial Genjutsu.
- May only be used on one target at a time.
- Requires a Genjutsu DC check at the start of each round.
- Should the victim succeed in a stealth check, they gain +2 Gen Save to the next round's Genjutsu check.

Shadow Dimension - Shadow Void Jutsu
The ultimate technique of the Nara clan. This jutsu draws forth all shadows in the area to the user, then begin to form a black dome that rapidly expands to cover the area. This dome creates a haven for the Nara, and a hellish realm of shadows for any deemed as the Nara's enemy. Completely Isolated from the outside world, this nearly impenetrable void essentially seals off those within from any allies they may have had, instead trapping them in a world of malicious shades which obey the Nara's wishes.

Rank 1: Creates a void of the darkest shadows that traps a single target with the Nara. While within this realm, the Nara gains the ability to sense the target through shadows, gaining +1 Accuracy and the shadows harm the user's enemy dealing 1500 Damage at the start of each round. The Nara and the target of this jutsu cannot interact, or be interacted with, in any way with those outside this Dome. The user gains +3 against all attempts at entering/exiting this dome.
Rank 2: Creates a void of the darkest shadows that trap any amount of targets with the Nara. While within this realm, the Nara gains the ability to sense the targets through shadows, gaining +2 Accuracy and the shadows harm the user's enemies dealing 2000 Damage at the start of each round. The Nara and the targets of this jutsu cannot interact, or be interacted with, in any way with those outside this Dome. The user gains +5 against all attempts at entering/exiting this dome.

Costs:
Rank 1: 3 AP, 2200 chakra to initiate, 1050 Cp/Rnd to maintain.
Rank 2: 3 AP, 2750 chakra to initiate, 1300 CP/Rnd to maintain.

Notes:
- This jutsu ends immediately once the user is knocked out.
- Shadow damage uses Ninjutsu Accuracy, and can be increased by Ninjutsu Buffs.
- Attempting to exit or enter the shadow dome requires a ninjutsu Check against the user.


"Dark Avatar Form..." Bahlok absorbed all the flames he had been struck with by opening his left palm as all the flames were sucked into his body he began to shimmer with violet flames of his own as his eyes went completely black with red Tomoe as the shadow chamber was released revealing their presence to all the ball attendee's. Without batting an eye he lashed out with a chain and captured one of the bat kindred, devouring his essence entirely and healing his immediate wounds with an evil smile. As he looked at Tsuuyo with hungry terrifying eyes. <COLOR color="indigo">"Once I feast upon you Hahvulon, I will be the King in the Darkness, and I will take the sacred gem from your ward and become Master of the Night as well."<i></i>

Bahlok seemed to simply absorb the flames that Mikaboshi had cast upon him but he felt the illusionary curse he'd also set take hold and root itself within the other ancient's mind. His form remained obscured by the living darkness that he'd conjured as he moved from place to place within the fighting space to prevent Bahlok from determining his location by stroke of luck. In this time, he watched and made observations of Bahlok's new blazing form. The way he stood, the way he moved. Mikaboshi's eyes missed nothing as he peered out from the darkness and watched Bahlok devour the essence of one of the batfolk. It was... instructive. He said nothing as the bat kindred disappeared in a horrible moment and Bahlok turned to make a boast about his coming ascension. Fighting the urge to roll his eyes, Mikaboshi instead decided to move to the second phase of his assault now that he'd had a proper moment to take in Bahlok's potential strengths and weaknesses. He'd simply absorbed the flames of his immolation spell which made further application of flame techniques a poor choice. It remained to be see whether or not that relative invulnerability extended to all flame-based techniques or simply base elemental attacks but he would soon find out one way or another.

From the shadows, Mikaboshi gestured and for a moment his body blinked into sight before the shadows once more convulsed and swallowed him once more. The next mental assault that he brought against Bahlok was one intended to assault his sense of sight. The technique blotted the ability to see from it's victims and made physical movement much more difficult. To say nothing of the strain that it put on the consciousness of it's target. If the darkness curse took root as the pain curse had then Bahlok would be at an even more severe disadvantage than he had been before. But this was not the last thing that Mikaboshi intended to do. Gathering up the gloom that buried his form from sight and made him undetectable, he motioned towards Bahlok and sent the shades in Bahlok's direction, revealing himself as he did. The grasping appendages and biting maws that the manifested shadows transformed into were intended to engulf Bahlok the same way that they had done for Mikaboshi but rather than hide him from sight they would grab hold of his physical form and bite deeply into his spiritual reserves, pulling what essence they could from him and devouring it.

Truly, this attack was more of an experiment than an actual effort to finish off his opponent. Before he continued the battle, he needed to know whether or not his other elemental spells could come to be relied on. He was an expert in wielding his will and his power in non-specific elemental forms as much as he was shadow so he always had other options but the first and most important priority was to ascertain just how far Bahlok's ability to absorb elements extended. Knowing full well that his opponent might retaliate, Mikaboshi properly prepared to defend himself against any such attack.

[The first genjutsu is Night and the shadow attack is Underworld Prison. Mikaboshi also spent time observing Bahlok this round before coming out of stealth.]

Bahlok was struck by yet another curse but since he was in the process of attempting to remove the first he only succeeded in removing the second, still caught in Mikaboshi's curse of pain and wrath. He felt the gloom of the King in the dark grasp his limbs and chuckled as he absorbed a little more of Hahvulon's power. "Truly you entertain me to no end King in the darkness, you believe yourself safe from me because of the shadow's you wield but I was in your court long enough to learn how to wield the darkness too. Allow me to show you.."<i></i> With a flicker of his eyes shadows coalesced into an infernal beast and raced out for Mikaboshi. If Mikaboshi wasn't swift enough he would be struck by the Dismal Harbinger or worse he could be engulfed by it. As he summoned the dismal harbinger his eyes changed and the tomoe became four diamonds. His hands flickered but nothing happened it seemed he couldn't quite keep up with Mikaboshi at the moment.

Abysmal Harbinger (Shadow Bend +5% dmg)
A powerful fire technique that draws forth the users chakra, morphing it into the fearsome image of a large otherworldly spirit composed of flames. This flaming wraith is manipulated by the user, and is said to burn brighter and brighter the more it is harmed until eventually bursting into a torrent of flames.

Information
Prerequisites: A-rank, 7 mastered fire jutsu

Rank 2: Creates a large figure of flames with 6600 Hp and 4 Ap. Each strike deals 1100 damage with a 12% chance of 'searing' the target.

Special Action - Ragnarok: The creation may pay 2 Ap to make an AoE attack dealing +45% base damage at +2 Accuracy. This has a +3%/4% chance of 'searing' the targets.

Special Action - Flames of Purgatory: The creation may detonate into an inferno. The amount of damage depends on the Ap put into this action. This deals damage equal to 35% its remaining Hp for 1 Ap, 70% for 2 Ap, and its full remaining Hp for 3 Ap.

Rank 2 Cost: 3030 Cp, 1520 Cp/Rnd

Notes:
- This is a 'Creation' Jutsu
- Lasts up to three rounds.
- This jutsu has secondaries equal to -3 of the user's. Strikes cost 1 Ap.
- This jutsu's Hp and damage may be increased with fire buffs.
- At all ranks, this jutsu takes +25% damage from water damage.
- Composed of flames, any attacks using melee accuracy against this creation deal 15% backlash damage to the attacker.
- When 'Seared' the target has a 10% chance of taking critical damage to the next attack to hit them. If this is not successful, then they only take +10% damage from the attack. This does not stack.
