Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Hanako was orphaned at a young due to the destruction of Leaf City and would spend some time within the slums of Crater City. With the remains of Leaf City being liberated and rebuilt through an alliance between remnants of Leaf's shinobi force and Iwagakure, Hanako like others shifted back. Due to her age at the time, she was not really involved in the rebuilding efforts as much as she was involved in the activities which swept up many children's time. Once it came time for the village to renew training and develop shinobi, she found that with little resources to her name it was the easier way to go. It would be here that she'd understand just how easy survival was compared to the pressure of the training regime and the educational learning bore upon her.

She would learn within the academy that her survival up until now had been a natural instinct trigger. As she learned that she had an uncanny knack for stealth and throwing weapons. Equally she realized just how inferior her skills at general hand to hand and genjutsu arts were. Although her skillset was limited, what was focused upon by her would become the cornerstone of her nich. This nich is the same reason she has been involved with the Anbu's training program since become a genin-level shinobi. Although several other classes of trainees have come and passed, Hanako's slower rate of rank progression was deeply tied to her sense of mastering her skills before moving on. With the disciplines of stealth and knowing the weaknesses of the typical body, her social life is paramount to non-existent. Hardly in the public light, she hasn't yet developed a bond with a circle of friends which is something completely different than camaraderie. To cope with this extreme change, Hanako segregates her emotions and behavioral traits. Benefiting socialization she exhibits a joyful, hopeful, and a warm outlook. Contrary to this, which handling her duties as a shinobi, Hanako buries the previously mentioned traits and replaces them with cold emotions and goal driven decisions.

Her skills as a shinobi mimic this well as they revolve around keeping to the shadows. A trained hunter, she is well attuned to striking out of sight and without hesitation. These sneak attack type skills reflect who she is. Silent and cold yet simply complex, the only thing really left to determine is how the rest of her life unwinds.

Hanako is a slim build, brown-skinned young adult with black hair. She has hazel eyes, though her right eye was lost due an accident while still an academy student. As a result, she wears either a medical eye patch or a simple black leather one to cover it. Unlike most shinobi, Hanako usually wears formal clothing, along with a short, white trench coat. Her torso is nearly always wrapped in bandages, giving her a male physique. She wears the villages protector wrapped around her neck whenever she decides to wear it. On the flip side, when she is engaged in duties fitting her ranking Hanako's attire adjusts itself. She wears attire in line with traditional leaf anbu with the exception that she does not wear a full mask. Instead she wears a mask designed to leave her right eye exposed. It is only when she is in anbu garbs is the fact that she has a discolored transplanted eye. While the eye is not linked to any kekkei genkai or clan techniques, she has become reliant on the eye as she's trained it for use with her jutsu.

Hanako is kindhearted and gentle but starts off as shy when engaging with new people for the first time. She can seem somewhat distant and at time absent minded. This personality however is an offset of the traits she showcases when involved in shinobi duties. There is little to no second guessing decisions and she is starkly devout to the chain of command within the Anbu Branch. Within these settings her attention to detail is focused upon which is a far cry from her otherwise fleeting mind persona.

Hanako cannot deny the fact that nestled behind her shy and kind appearance, is a cold blooded killer. She considers it to simply be a part of her job, systematically equating a human life to that of something expendable in the pursuit of her villages interests. While the act of killing and the method in which it is done does not phase her one bit, senseless acts have been known to rub her extremely the wrong way or cause her to feel sick in the stomach. Under the umbrella of the law or orders by her superiors however, she seems to relish these same exact things.

[td=null,1]A clan skill of the Amagawa which takes advantage of their implanted venom glands (Assuming the clan member has undergone the transplant). It allows the user to naturally turn the bacteria and viruses trapped by their tonsils into a synthesized poison. The user is also capable of retaining poisonous compounds inhaled, though this does not grant any type of immunity to the poison. This poison is stored within the venom glands and can only escape the mouth in the form of a visible gas or mist when using poison ninjutsu. [/td]

Deep breaths, just take deep breaths or at least that is what she was instructed to do by the voice in her head. There within a confined and sealed room somewhere in the medical complex, Hanako sat as the room slowly filled with a mustard colored smoke. Not alone, she was hooked up to several vital monitors and flanked by two medical professions each wearing respirators. All this was needed as being one of the few Amagawa members left, the secret behind the clan's jutsu was unknown. She was far to young when many were killed during the time span of the civil war with luck that notes on the procedure itself at least surviving. They were monitoring her vitals because of the nature of her hidden glands. Breathing in as the yellow gas filled the room, inside her throat the profile of the toxic cocktail of chemicals released were in some amount absorbed by two additions to her tonsils. Each gland were no bigger than the size of a small coin and although they absorbed some amounts of the poison her body would develop no counter measures to it. Instead the girl pulled tight on the straps hindering her full movement while mixed feelings of pain and nausea overcame her body. Irony wasn't it, having the ability to produce poison yet not having the ability to either be immune to poison or a way to deliver it without existing jutsu. As she went through the symptoms, the medical shinobi would inject her after a certain time after placing a respirator over her mouth. This was routine but it never did get old..

[td=null,1]Poison Synthesis is a passive skill for the Amagawa, as though it allows them to develop toxins their bodies alone are not capable to releasing the toxins stored/created. To do this, users must tether the glands function with existing jutsu. In the case of the clan, this skill is why they are able to use jutsu which require inhaled poisons. [/td]

While completely unique to the individual member, the area which can be changed only falls between three categories (Members are born able to adjust just 1 of these categories). The categories being eyes, skin, and hair with pigmentation only following a monotone color spectrum (Whites/Blacks/Grays).[/td]

Adjusting the mask along her face, a less than enthused sigh would be produced from her lips. There was enough work to go around these days and she had been assigned on a simple recon along the countries southern border after some reports came in of bandit activity. Sitting down along the bench while storing some personal belongings which were not needed, her gaze would fall upon a small mirror within the locker. Tilting her head, she'd stare at her hair before touching various strands with her fingers. Exhaling to relax her concentration, parts of her hair started to fade in hue in uneven patches. As time would pass, the hair upon her head would go from a black color to a whitish hue. Her reasoning for changing hair color while on the job was the same reason she wore a mask with an eye patch opposite of what she usually wore. Was easy to not draw attention to her identity...but she also internally felt she looked better with whitish hair.

As a purely cosmetic skill, members would have to learn jutsu if they wished to change appearances in such a manner that it would effect a battle.[/td]
