Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

All Advanced shop changes have been reviewed and approved.

However, before I can approve those abilities of yours, I actually need a 100 WC RP per ability. Once that is done then you are all green.

Weapons are approved though. I'd hate to get punched by you lol

0.) Medical Knowledge
Shuu was nothing short of brilliant. She was a normal child from a normal family with a normal background. And yet, she was something special. Sonohara Kenta knew it. As one of the oldest and most venerated medics with skills most others praised as impossible, the Miracle Worker of Mist knew he could mold her into something amazing. Most of the lemmings in the Medical Branch had no idea what they had in her; a sponge who could soak up information with a deftness he'd not seen since...well...himself. And that is what he did. He spent years infusing medical knowledge into her brain, and she absorbed it quicker than anyone he'd ever seen, and still came back for more. Kenta was a gruff, selfish, mean, arrogant prick, but he knew medicine better than anyone. He was an exhausting and unrelenting taskmaster, even when it came to the basics. 'A good building begins with a stable foundation' he would always say, and so expected nothing short of perfection. In no time, in regards to medical knowledge, Shuu gave it to him and smirked, as though his expectations were nothing. He took it as a good-natured challenge. There would be a long and bright future for this one, assuming she didn't crack or die.

WC: 214
1.) Bull's Strength
'The Medical Shinobi on your team should be the last one standing, otherwise their skills are worth precisely dick,' Kenta told Shuu. It was expected that she be abnormally strong. She needed to be. Not only to heft others as necessary should they become incapacitated, but because she needed to survive. if she didn't, she was useless. How could she heal someone who needed it if she was bleeding out in the dirt? She couldn't obviously. As such he forced her to practice strength training, day in and day out. He ordered her to move a certain boulder from one end of the beach to another. He never, in all his days, expected her to succeed, and every time she failed he would inform her of his disappointment. When she came to him after nine months of strength training and showed him that she had succeeded, he was baffled. What a terrifying child.

WC: 153
2.) Combat Medic
'A medical ninja who cannot bring others back from the maw of death is little better than someone with glowy hands', Kenta used to say. He drilled this into Shuu, tirelessly working her. He forced her to work the emergency room for seventy-two hours straight one day, doing nothing but going from room to room resuscitating anyone dying, and healing those about to die. Even if they had no signs of life, he made her try anyway. Over and over. Hour after hour. She obeyed silently, never complaining, never giving up. She worked to revive people dead for several minutes on several occasions, at Kenta's direct instruction. Always telling her of her failiures, the whole time knowing that it was next to impossible. Until one day the impossible happened. As she brought a man whose time of death had already been called back to life, his big bushy brows slowly lifted up off his sunken-in eyes. She truly was something special, but the only way to perfect her was to ensure she never knew exactly how special she was until her training was done, so he grunted that she passed, and they moved on to the next lesson. Meanwhile, Kenta knew he wasn't even sure he could have done what she did. She was a frightening child, and she was only beginning her education.

WC: 224
3.) Physician
While knowing how to use jutsu to save a life was important, it was just as important that a shinobi learn, even when chakra is exhausted, there are things that can be done to help. Regular surgery and medicines can help too, despite being more mundane. As such it was important to Kenta that Shuu learn these things, so he set her to studying under every single civilian doctor in the hospital until they were satisfied she'd learned everything she could from them. He'd expected her to take several years absorbing their knowledge. She took six months. She learned entire skills in one or two days that normally took weeks or months to master. She was a medical prodigy, and Kenta could see she was developing into a fine Med-nin as much as she was a fine woman. But she was not perfected; not yet. There was more he could teach her, in spite of her having gathered the mundane skills to save lives.

WC: 164
4.) Paramedic
'Having medical knowledge so you can heal when you have relaxed circumstances and performing to save lives in a crisis are two different things', Kenta always said. As such, He then took her out on several missions. Day in and day out he would drag her outside on little-to-no sleep. Whenever there was a report of a fight in the village or just outside her walls, he would force her attendance. He would bring her to any possible combat situation he could, especially where there might be severely wounded people, so that she could get experience healing in a fight. With him present no one would truly harm her, but he wanted her to learn to make those circumstances normal. If they were things she dealt with regularly, it wouldn't cause panic. So he ran her as quick as possible to every fight he could, and forced her to heal while he watched over her to make sure she did it properly while keeping her safe. Because of it she learned to not only keep a cool head and respond quickly to battle injuries, but could even utilize the adrenaline of the situation to boost her healing temporarily. She was coming along nicely, but she was nowhere near perfect yet.

WC: 210
5.) Human Anatomy
'Getting from place to place when you don't know the area is impossible without a map, so too is healing the human body without knowing it inside and out' Kenta would tell Shuu time and time again. As such he gave her text upon text to study about the human body. With it he forced her to become knowledgeable in every bone, every ligament, every muscle, every joint, every vein, every tenketsu...every single piece of the human body and both its mundane and chakra workings he forced her to see and understand. Every strength--and every weakness--was imperative to learn. Knowing how to permanently cripple someone with a single well-placed slice was just as important as knowing what area needed protecting on her own body, and how best to heal a part of the body...and how it could affect the whole. It was possible for one tiny seemingly unrelated detail to cause complete organ failure and system collapse, so understanding how it all worked together was vital. As such he set her in a library full of books on anatomy and physiology, and told her to memorize every single text flawlessly before she could move on. She was done in three months. She was almost perfected.

WC: 208
6.) Jutsu Mastery
'While there are things you can do without chakra, having no chakra is still a stupid circumstance' Kenta told Shuu. As such, with repeated use of medical ninjutsu all over the hospital, he forced her to learn how to make the chakra she had go farther. Every day he would push her to her limits of using her jutsu, giving her hints and tips of how to better manipulate her own energies into lasting longer through being efficient and conservative with her capabilities. The more chakra she could conserve, the more people she could heal. That was just plain logic. So as she used her ninja techniques, day in and day out, he made sure she knew how to stretch them to their limits so she could keep as much chakra saved up as possible. It was a skill that could only come over time and learning how to adapt his recommendations and hints reflexively. As such, as time wore on, she became better and better at casting her jutsu efficiently, wasting almost no chakra in doing so. She was close. Damn close. Just one more lesson, and Shuu the Medical Chief would be ready.

WC: 195
7.) Chakra Style: Anointed
The last thing Shuu needed to know was something that could only be taught by another medical shinobi, or someone who learned obscure ninja healing arts. Of it all, it was the most complex of skills she could have possibly needed to learn. It was how to mold her chakra in a way that would increase her skills at healing. It took more focus and an unusual way of kneading the energy to make it more receptive to bolstering another's life force As such when using that style it lowered the efficiency of damage output, but healing skill would improve significantly. It had taken him five years to learn the skill perfectly. Shuu learned it in six months. She truly was frightening, and it was time she knew it. He had nothing left to teach her. He told her so as he left for her his highest recommendations for becoming Medical Sennin of Mist...and coming from Kenta, who rarely liked anyone, that was significant indeed.

WC: 166
8.) Weapon Mastery: Unarmed
Shuu was incredible with her hands, that much was obvious. As such it was a shame to put something as clunky and obtrusive as a sword or bow in her hands. They were capable of so much more on their own. As such, her deftness at medical procedures such as surgery left her equally skilled on the battlefield, manipulating her hands and arms in fashions that most would find difficult or obscure, because she was very capable. Using her fists to fight rather than a weapon made her deadly...but once she obtained the Byakugan and learned to wield Jyuuken, she became terrifying.

WC: 103
9.) Called Shot
Part of what made Shuu so impressive a fighter was her manual dexterity. As such, rather than being someone who swung at the whole body hoping to hit their opponent, she learned to target specific places. With her knowledge of anatomy she knew exactly where to strike to cripple her opponent, but that knowledge was worthless without being able to target the area that was weak. Learning how to not only strike but with such precise accuracy she could wound specific parts of her opponent purposefully...that was part of what made her truly a master at combat as much as medicine.

1.) Healing Factor
'One of the most paramount things about being an effective healer was lasting long enough to heal those that need it in a fight', Kenta would tell her. A secret he had learned was to infuse his own body with a large dose of medically shaped chakra every day, weather it needed healing or not. It accomplished three things. One, it healed any residual unknown damage to ensure one started the day fresh. Two, after a few weeks it gave the body so much constant exposure to medical ninjutsu that it became accustomed to them and so would respond better to them. Three, It caused a metabolic shift that jump started cell production, ensuring that healing happened with surprising rapidity. By doing this, it would make her harder to kill and keep her more energized throughout the day...and Kenta informed her with a malicious grin she would need that energy, because he was going to work her into the ground to ensure she was a capable medical ninja once he was done with her. Undaunted, Shuu accepted the challenge with a grin and happily completed the task, until a few weeks later she noticed the obvious change. She was quicker to heal and more energetic, and her own body became more receptive to medical jutsu. She was starting down a long path, but an important one...and this was a good start.

Swapping Healing Factor for Jutsu Creator
Although Shuu had withstood much of her medical training thanks to her ability to keep herself healed constantly, she found a much more important task stood in her way as she developed skills beyond those of an ordinary medic. Cut and paste jutsu were nice, but they were not ways what was needed. She needed the ability to create unique skills on the fly to truly master the healing arts. She did not just wish proficiency, but true mastery, and that came with improvisational skill to tailor one's techniques to fit any given situation. As such she began to research and practice her jutsu, trying to understand the fundamentals of jutsu creation so she could craft brand new skills. This was taxing on her chakra, so she reached a point where she gave up using it to constantly heal herself, conserving instead for practicing how to create her own jutsu. As a result the self-healing power she exhibited waned and vanished, substituted instead for an expansion of versaltility that she was famous for; the ability to create completely unique jutsu and call them her own.

And swapping Weapon Mastery for Jutsu Expansion
Though Shuu was a monster with her bare fists, raw power wasn't her problem. Rather than focusing on the sheer amount of martial skill she possessed, as she grew older and had more experience with jutsu she learned that even Taijutsu still were chakra-based techniques. As such she abandoned her strictly-martial approach to training and decided instead to find a way to finesse the jutsu themselves. As she studied how to make unique jutsu to master the healing arts she inadvertantly gained a deeper understanding of how jutsu were constructed. As such she learned not only how to craft her own unique techniques, but before that learned how to power up many of her normal ones to a level beyond their original design. Tinkering with pre-existing techniques was truly the first step in creating her own moves, and with a lot of research learned instead how to make even normal everyday skills far more powerful through tweaking the chakra intermix and how she molded it. A first step in making something unique was learning how to modify something that already existed. As such had a way to elevate her existing skills just as much as crate new ones, giving her a deeper understand of jutsu than most could ever hope to achieve.

I would also like to use 200 of my shop points to buy two major affinities: Fire and Earth.

Thank you!

Acquiring Advanced Element: Gravity (1/4)
One thing that scared the hell out of Shuu living underground was the idea of being caught in a cave-in. While she was strong, she was certain there were some things she couldn't survive. Having a way to protect herself or, if necessary, evacuate herself was paramount. While her physical strength was massive, it would only get her so far. Having techniques to back up that titanic power was also important, especially should she become physically injured and find it difficult to utilize her full physical strength. As such, as she was in the Scroll Vault of the Sunaans with Sousuke's permission, one of the first things she looked at was their grasp of advanced elements. She'd already seen from Uri the kind of power such a thing as an advanced element could hold.

While doing so she came across an ancient scroll that detailed a great Sunaan leader from times past and his power over the forced of the world around them itself. It wasn't the earth itself, necessarily, but the forces that the world put upon a person. Shinobi used chakra on their feet to counteract it and climb trees, but there were other ways to counteract gravity...such as controlling the element itself. As she read, she came across some interesting points. She made every effort to commit the entirety of the scroll--it's words, it's feel, it's look--to her memory for safe-keeping. Later, when she was at a training ground, she would begin to mold the chakra in a way that matched what the scroll said. it was not so much as physically moving anything itself as it was shifting the way force acted upon the object.

She struggled at first, but then it wasn't until a few moments had passed that she truly began to understand it was almost as if changing the orientation of the thing or person was what was going on. Their perspective. What was 'up' versus 'down', and so forth. Once she grasped this concept and applied it to how she used her chakra, the new element came much easier to her, and grasping orientation and force acting upon an object was much simpler. It only took a few moments before she realized she had discovered exactly how to manipulate a new type of element...well new to her anyway.

She was a Gravity User.

Acquiring Advanced Element: Poison (2/4)
In her research she also came across people who had an affinity for a particularly venomous element. Literally. Poisons that were not physical substances originally, but crafted and manipulated through chakra. The more interesting point to this was less that it could poison someone, and more that it also gave them the power to manipulate pre-existing poisons. The person was originally a healer, and used their ability to pull poisons from people's bodies, though it could do much, much more than that. While Shuu saw the value of being able to use it as a source of injury for another, What really convinced her that she should learn it was it's ability to remove poisons from one's bloodstream. However its combat benefit was not to be overlooked. She had astounding force that could pummel an opponent from the outside...it would probably behoove her to have an ability to attack them from within as well, a more subtle means of combat that was less about brute strength and more about draining the power of her opponent.

Accessing poisons was easy. There were plenty at the hospital. Learning to manipulate them was a challenge to say the least, but she was not a Sage for nothing....in time she began to manipulate the liquids, and since she understood them on a fundamental basis she could even craft her own out of chakra. Once she thought about using her chakra that way it really was no different than utilizing her chakra to manifest any other element in nature, only this was a bit more complex as it was a chemical compound rather than a simple element like water--which she still was not profoundly gifted at just yet.

The poison was dangerous and deadly, and may yield yet another nickname once she started wielding it to go alongside the Violet Sage...The Purple Viper.

...perhaps. But one thing was clear, her newfound ability needed honing, as being a Poison Element user could be very tricky indeed.

Accquiring Shinobi 101: Taijutsu - Unarmed/Piercing
Over the years Shuu's unarmed skills have become second to few. Her Ninjutsu was powerful, but her Taijutsu was damned impressive. What really did it, though, was when she received the Byakugan. Learning how to properly use the Jyuuken was a huge increase to her Taijutsu capability, but in sharpening that aspect of her skills it gave her a previously unexpected edge. A style almost completely reliant upon thrusting chakra with pinpoint strikes into Tenketsu, it gave her unarmed skills abilities that rivaled that of even the best thrusting weapons. Her hand when shaped properly could act like a spear or lance, so it only made sense that it would be able to use the same moves that one might use with such a weapon. Her piercing blows were powerful and dangerous to say the least, and with her perfection of such a style it made her fists just as deadly as any piercing dagger or glaive, if not moreso due to its versatility and power.

Acquiring Advanced Element: Radiation (3/4)
Shuu's eyes were very gifted, but there were other ways one could scan the body; ways in which Hyuuga eyes could miss. According to Sunaan records Shuu uncovered both in the library and in the hospital, there were records of past medical ninja utilizing an element known as Radiation to infuse sub-atomic energy into another and that utilizing it allowed them to scan and understand the human body in a way that conventional medicine could not quite grasp. While the dangerous were obvious--it could make others sick and burn the chakra right out of their body--in that respect it also seemed similar to Hyuuga eyes. The only difference was in making others sick, and with careful use that side-effect could be avoided. Realizing it could be used as a weapon but also had the capability to allow her to further understand the human body and become a better medical practitioner, she immediately began pursuing how to master it. While she would never recommend it as a form of dieting, she did for a while wind up vomiting while trying to figure out how to properly focus and channel the element. Luckily it never reached the stage where her hair began to fall out, though that was a definite danger. It took a while but she learned how to harness the radiation not just wildly, but very specifically as well, able to use it to target people's insides and understand them better, or inflict miserable conditions upon them as well. She also learned that when used properly, there were some illnesses she could even cure with targeted use of the sub-atomic energy created by the newly developed power. As she learned more about it, however, she also realized that having this element at her command gave her the perfect cover for her Hyuuga gifts, too, to make it seem like her Byakugan and Jyuuken were actually derived from her understanding of radiation. It made the perfect cover.
