Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kaito sighed as he fell under the familiar red glow of the Grand Palais lights, after a couple of rough days at the academy he really needed this get away. Though if he was honest with himself he was always ready to get out of the academy, all work and no play made Kaito a dull boy after all and any work at all was just too much as far as he was concerned.
'Besides, this is a little personal. Bad enough that when they exposed the leader of the Cabal we turned out to share a name, now this guy too.' Kaito frowned to himself in contemplation, staring at the poster he'd ripped off the boards as he retreated stormed out of the academy earlier. 'Though if he's been working the bazaar all this time it might explain why I've got away with so much, come to think of it. If I can convince people he really is my patron I should be able to wrap this up pretty quickly..' He'd already decided it would be better not to act directly against this suspect; the villiage's information was incredibly sketchy, and Roku-sensei had quite clearly demonstrated exactly how far he had to go before he could call himself a combat ninja. Instead he was planning to sound out the bar's and any competitors he could track down to try and build a case for bringing Yuudai in.

It was another few hours before Kaito actually caught sight of his target. A few fruitless hours spent leaning on some of the bartenders whose tabs he'd actually paid off had got him nowhere before he'd had a lucky break; one of the local street gangs who he'd fought more alongside than against recently had decided to do him a favour. Out of nowhere a junior member had turned to guide him to a rooftop overlooking Yuudai's house. The usual clutter of vents, chimneys, garbage and squatter debris made decent enough cover while still affording numerous lookout points. It was from one of these that Kaito caught sight of the pink clad black marketeer hurrying a shifty looking man in through the back of his home. Yuudai had made a thorough check of the alley for any witnesses but not even glanced in Kaito's direction. 'Sloppy.' Kaito grunted to himself, relieved that something was going his way at least. He'd recognised the house guest; one Abuni Roba, a notorious rouge puppet manufacturer. Still, not exactly the water tight evidence he wanted to bring back yet. He nevertheless recorded the visit length and the package Roba left with in a small notebook he'd brought along.

By the time it reached midnight, Kaito was well and truly on the way to insanity. Half a dozen or so of the lower rungs of the black bazaar had passed in and out of Yuudai's house, sometimes delivering packages, sometimes picking them up or seemingly making exchanges. He'd recorded it all and there was probably enough circumstantial evidence to pass on by this point, but nothing that would explain Yuudai's clearly superior behaviour towards his 'house guests'. He looked to be just a quite successful middleman; something in Kaito's gut said there was still more to this operation though.

“Nothing for it, I'm going to have to go in there to get to the bottom of this.” He muttered to himself. “Definitely not getting in through the door, better circle the building.” A quick breakneck climb down the building's fire escape later, his investigations brought him to a shoddily mounted basement to what seemed to be the room below Yuudai's. A few quick strikes with a nearby broken bottle chipped away enough of the frame around the lock for it to swing open freely. There didn't appear to be any reaction from the rest of the building so Kaito eased himself in, glad for his slight frame. As his eyes adjusted he realised he'd hit the jackpot; he was in some sort of storeroom! His eyes were quickly drawn to an ornate scroll mounted on a stand for easy reading. As he drew closer he tried to read the title. It was written in a completely foreign language to him, saying "كيفية تحضير الإنسان: صحيح العرائس إتقانهاا ". The scroll was clearly ancient however, and intricately illustrated, with diagrams of the human body undergoing processes that made Kaito want to vomit and burn the entire build down all at the same time. Working as fat as he could, he gathered up the scroll and roughly forced it out the window. Jumping out after it he set off at a ran towards the Kazekage Tower; Yuudai was sure to notice the scroll was missing soon and Kaito was suddenly feeling more motivated than ever to see him put down.

Runic Terran Text:
Should be 'How To Prepare The Human: True Puppet Mastery', though obviously little Kaito has no idea what it says.
