These are Hakuren's siblings and as a family of Yamanaka we seek enlightenment, however the path to such a goal varies from person to person. Here each sibling took a different path.

Beliefs/History: Ai took a spiritual route to enlightenment. She believes that true enlightenment can be only achieved through divine means. Ai has dedicate her life to the local shrine as a priestess to Mother Suna. Though she tries to resist judging the paths of her other siblings, she often find herself arguing with Yuki who chose a path almost opposite of hers.

Beliefs/History: Yuki believed there had to be a short cut to enlightenment. She did not want to spend years in search of it so she decided to make a pack with a demon. She bound her soul to an Okami, a wolf demon, and sacrificed her powers as a Yamanaka for what she believes is enlightenment.

Companion Description: She is a large black wolf and older than all the siblings combined. She believes her age and experience could provide the wisdom Yuki need for her journey.

Beliefs/History: Roku took a shamanistic approach to enlightenment. He decided that the only way to achieve his goal was through the understanding of the elements themselves. Thought not blind Roku took Hakuren’s druidic measures into his own practices. As Hakuren possesses animals to learn about nature, he would possess the very elements that make this world. Often doing so would make a golem for him explore the life of an elemental.
