To average folks these men might have been considered rather tough and powerful, but they were not shinobi, and had no chakra abilities to reinforce their strength. Most on the wall here Ri increased gravity were forced to the ground or some onto their knees, though a few were strong enough to keep shooting. It had cut the fire power coming from the wall by more than half though.
Inside the gaurd tower was a different sort of chaos. Most of the men in there had decided to toss aside the ever inaccurate rifles (though most of the fault there lied with user error) in favor of their swords to deal with the wolves in front of them. It did not really go that well. In the time since the fighting had begun they had only managed to fatality injure one of the wolves and severely injure another while they had suffered two fatalities and had another seven bleeding out. The men rushing into the room were surrounding their injured and trying to pull them out but the wolves kept on their attack.
It was at this point a man appeared on the rooftops on the side of the city. He looked down at the chaos that no one had bothered to call and inform him of anything... That rather pissed him off. He watched for a few moments as his men were getting the crap beat out of them and a few other men gathered in behind him. He took a deep breath in to attempt to calm his nerves, which it did not. He had sent his men after a young shinobi and a kid he had just fairly won in a card game. He raised his voice to his lieutenants who had gathered behind him as his gaze scanned the area around them.
"Why was I not informed of not only the being a shinobi," his voice got even angrier part way through the sentence,
"but also that they had been joined by... 2, 4, 6... maybe 7 other shinobi. Four of whom are anbu who I had been told were properly paid off?"
This question had confused most of his men nearby because he was the only one who was able to pick out the three on the wall knocking more of his men off and incapacitating them. He had fought shinobi many times in his life to know that there really was no winning this fight. His lieutenants might be able to fight the kids, but he was the only one capable of possibly holding off a single jounin. Still... they were lucky. Only one persone was really using deadly force and they were rather reckless about it. The shinobi were also each doing their own thing without working together, the bastards luckily had very little sense of teamwork, each one mostly acting as a lone wolf. He looked at the man who had impressively run into the middle of his men, near the squirt he had sent his men to retrieve. Three watching for an opportunity to strike possibly, one medic at work, one injured child who was getting back up, two furry freaks with some wolves, the kid his daughter wanted for here collection, the punk who he had beat in a game of blackjack earlier and a man who would have easily slaughtered quite a few of his men if he were using a real sword.
That was a lot of problems to work through if he wanted to get his men out of all of it. First thing first, he had some men trapped on the wall, it appeared that they had been struggling just to stand up. He looked at the kid who had jumped out of a very high window and showed off some gravity jutsu in front of him. It was likely his work.
"Men, call for a full retreat, don't aim to kill any of the shinobi or they might feel it necessary to chase us down. Third lieutenant, get the kid with the straw hat to release his jutsu so what is left of our men can get off the wall, have them carry as many of the injured and, if possible, the dead back to the safe houses."
With a quick nod a rather ugly man began running around the outside of the battle until he had a straight line of sight on Ri and charged forward swinging his sword in a way to telegraph his move intentionally to force Ri to concentrate on him and dodge.
"The medic is heading towards the tower where our boys are fighting those wolf freaks. I am pretty sure that is a man-beast transformation as well so don't forget the mutt is dangerous as well. Second lieutenant I expect you to bring down those wolves with them and hold those furry bastards off with that weird pokey thing your clan likes to do."
"They are no longer my clan," said the completely covered figure with a gas mask before running off into the tower.
"First lieutenant, I want you to follow that medic. He moves with the confidence of many years of experience, probably a jounin, several of those possibly in attendance tonight. You won't be able to take him down in combat. You should, however, be able to distract him for a minute or two while the others make their escape, but only attack if he begins to do so first. He hasn't made an aggressive move yet. If he doesn't start something, go to the upper wall and collect as many of our men as you can without engaging the ANBU there."
"So that is where they are... But boss, that still leaves several shinobi by your count, three of which you said are ANBU. You don't plan on taking them all on by yourself do you?"
"There is nothing to worry about there, at least not yet. The ANBU seem to be making sure things don't get too out of hand in the fighting down there but are not making any further moves themselves. Two of the shinobi left are practically toddlers as far as I can see. There is only one I really have to concern myself with fighting, which is just as well because he might be a bit much even for me," he said looking down at the man tossing his men around like practice dummies.
"Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan... Fucking hate fighting those Uchiha bastards." He drew his sword as he said it. One always had to fight three moves ahead by default just to match those damn eyes, otherwise you were in for a world of hurt. Still, it was odd the man wasn't killing his men, though he had to be a bit thankful to the bastard for using a wooden sword.
"Anyway, that is nothing to concern yourself with, I am entrusting you to bring my family home, got it." It wasn't a question.
The first lieutenant had already rushed to obey his orders as the sword was drawn. He saw the second lieutenant attempting to do his job as he quickly disabled the remaining wolves that had burst into the battle with series of well aimed pokes and was attempting to stop the wolf duo from doing anymore damage. He never understood how those little pokes and jabs did so much but the second lieutenant was the only one besides the boss and the young lady with any formal chakra training.
The first lieutenant was an oddity for being strong enough to stand as the boss's right hand man, lacking the ability to use chakra and relying solely on pure physical strength. But his job for now was to observe, collect and protect. As much as he would have liked to join in on the action, he knew the boss had a plan and to go against it would be detrimental to the clan. The buff balding man moved with a rather unfitting grace after the medic. Besides... Tears began to pour from his eyes, as he thought of his boss's words and exclaimed
"The boss really cares about us as family! I will die before I let him down!!!"
The boss then turned to his daughter.
"Sweet pea, I am sorry to say you are going to have to give up on your new toy, he just isn't going to be worth the effort." He tossed her the walkie-talkie.
"Call a full retreat for papa and lead the men on the retreat. Spread them out among the safe-houses, we are going to be laying low for a while so I will meet you in the bunker."
The teenage girl put on a pouting face and said,
"Okay daddy, but only because you said so." She said it in a super sweet tsundere tone that would have made most people gag but it caused her father to lose his sense of coolness for a moment and grin like an overly proud father.
"That's my little girl, be good for papa." With that he hopped down into the fight closer to the village at a ridiculous speed. As he left the daughter sighed, tossed aside the kimono she was wearing to reveal she had a completely different outfit on underneath, and began scowling.
She took out a cigarette and began to light it as she spoke in a much rougher tone into the walkie-talkie,
"Alright dumbasses, the old bastard as called for a retreat. For simplicity's sake everyone should go to the safe-house that shares the number of their company, with the exception that the severly injured should all be relocated to safe-house 21. We are going dark for a while thanks to your screw up tonight so if you are not heavily injured now, you will be after I am through with you. Now move your asses while the lieutenants cover your escape!"
When she was finished with the motivational speech she looked towards the guards they had paid off and noticed they were getting a bit antsy now that the situation had turned. They seemed to be weighing whether or not they should join in, completely oblivious unlike herself and her father that their superiors were on the scene. If the damn old man thought she was just going to run off to be locked in a prison of boredom for a few weeks without having some fun first he was also a fool. She smiled and ran over to make sure they didn't do anything they would regret, though she really was hoping they would try.
The boss weaved through his men without much effort. He had a few priorities to take care of, the first being the disgraceful behavior of one of his men toying with a child. Shinobi or not, he should have simply killed the child or left him alone, there was a certain amount of honor he expected in his men's actions.
"You damn fool!" He shouted as he sliced through his own man at a blinding speed.
He maintained that speed as he grabbed the back of the collar of the purple haired kid and slung him over his shoulder and stepped in to stop the onslaught the sharingan user was inflicting upon his men. He began blocking the strikes of the man's wooden sword with his own katana though much to his annoyance he was having trouble keeping up with the strikes that filled his vision.
He then saw the moment he was waiting for and set into a combo, by first faking a misstep then slicing through the bokken. Unfortunately he was panting from the effort while it did not seem like his opponent had expended much energy at all. He was getting too old for this crap.
"Man they make you kids pretty tough these days," The older man said a little breathlessly as he avoided looking directly into the other man's eyes, though he knew well enough that did little good against such an advanced sharingan.
"Though I suppose I should thank you for going easy on my boys. They were rather quick to get their asses into hot water without telling me that the kid I had just purchased belonged to the village." He slung the purple haired kid between him and the other man as his gang around them was retreating.
"I simply was trying to recollect my daughter's new toy, but I am a fair man. How about in exchange for letting my men and I go leave peacefully I will return ownership of this little guy and forgive the other one for destroying my property and making a scene in my place of business. I'll even throw in an apology for the trouble my men have caused, sounds to be a rather fair trade doesn't it?" He was bluffing to some degree. He had no illusion that he could defeat the other man without getting himself killed in the process. He was hedging his bets on the other man being a softy based on his lack of killing blows.
Meanwhile, the daughter had appeared quite suddenly in the middle of the guards on duty. It seemed the were still debating whether they should intervene now that reinforcements had arrived or pretend that they had never noticed anything and feign innocence.
"I would say either way you idiots are pretty fuckin' screwed." For guards they were certainly shocked at her arrival.
"You should have made sure no one called for backup, you caused quite a bit of trouble for all of us with that blunder." It was at this point they realized this woman was with the young lady of the yakuza family and one of them got it in their head that if they captured her they could still get out of this situation. He charged her, fist connecting with her face. She was unamused.
"Want to try me?" was the last thing that man heard as he suddenly blacked out.
The others got to witness her kicking the man across the room shortly before she started tearing through the rest of them at super-human speed. They did not put up as much of a fight as she had hoped. But she was almost as strong as her father and maybe a couple of these guards were chunin at best. Still, it helped her relieve some aggression as she finished the last one off with a cheap shot. Now it was time to make sure the dumbasses escaped so she could punish them later.
OOC: lol I also decided to have fun with gifs. Anyway sorry this was later than I said it would be, I fell asleep not too long after coming home from work last night, I just hope it was worth the wait. Anyway it is up to you guys how this turns out, whether or not you get injured, decide to attack the retreating guys, fall in love with the handsomeness that is the borrowed image of armstrong...etc etc. lol. Unless you decide to try and cut them off or something most of the yakuza will have retreated by the end of this next round except for the leaders and those slowed from carrying the wounded. The second and third lieutenants are about as strong as semi tough chunin, the daughter and the first lieutenant are are par with the strongest of chunin and the boss is jounin level though he is played off as getting rather old and it has been quite some time since he has fought seriously just in case any of that matters for someone's rp. Go for it guys! Oh and I will do my character's actions last this coming round just to make things simple for me and only have to do one post ;P.
