Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Earthborn with this power have mastered the ability to create walls of earth around them, making them stronger and more resilient than ever before. These walls of earth can be massive, limited only by the energy put into them.
Effect: All barriers that the user creates may receive the user's Earth Buffs to increase the barrier's HP. Earth based barriers are granted an additional +10% HP

Due to their bond with the earth, as long as an Earthborn ninja is on the ground, they become tireless, constantly regaining strength. Their ability to absorb energy from the earth itself, their ability to do so is increased when nestled in it.
Effect: When standing on the ground, the user gains back 5% of their max HP per round and exhaust a little slower. This does not work when held off the ground, in trees, in the upper stories of buildings, while swimming, etc. Regeneration becomes 6% when underground.

Earthborn ninja are much like their favored element: steady, tough and strong. With this comes enormous power, giving them the strength to do monstrous amounts of damage in physical combat as long as they’re in contact with the earth.
Effect: Melee damage multiplier is upped to 25% as long as the user is on the ground. This does not apply when held off the ground, in trees, in the upper stories of buildings, while swimming, etc.

Through their bond, the Earthborn calls upon the power of the earth, summoning strength before hitting with one devastating blow with all the fury of the ground. This takes them some time to perform, but the end result can be devastating.
Effect: For every .5 AP added to the cast of an Earth jutsu, the user adds 10% damage to it. This damage may bypass caps. May not add more than 3 AP this way. Can only be used once every other round. Attacks altered this way cannot critical and cannot be used as Called Shots.

The earth grants the Earthborn a great deal of their strength, and they can channel this into an effective form of protection. Gaia Style is truly the power of the earth incarnate, shielding the user from harsh blows but impeding their movement.

Effect: While active, user gains +20% Damage reduction but suffers -3 Dodge. Earthen Barrier gives an additional +10% HP to barriers.

- Like any other fighting style, this can be turned on or off at the user’s discretion or lack thereof. Counts as a Chakra Style.

Earthborns' natural connection with the earth causes their abilities with it to be heightened and empowered. An Earthborn with this skill will find their Earth jutsu more effective than others', and themselves with an inner peace.
Effect: +5% Earth jutsu damage.

<i></i> - Independent Special Move (2 points)
The ground itself is not the only facet of the earth that an Earthborn can channel. The plants themselves can also work in their favour, sprouting and creating turbulence, distraction, and hindrance to those not in touch with the earth.
Effect: Scatters a spore into the air that targets up to two. A Ninjutsu Check is made between the user and the victim(s) and upon a successful check, the effected suffer a -2 Dodge for two rounds. This does not stack on the same target.

Notes:
- A Ninjutsu Check is made each round between the user and the victim. If the victim succeeds in the check, the spores are negated; meaning this must be recast to effect a victim once more.

Predator's Instinct (2)
Earth Sense
<i></i> - Passive (2 points)
The Earthborn is vastly more in tune with the ground under their feet than anyone else is, allowing them to sense things through it that no one else can. It is very difficult to fool one of these people while you are both standing on their native element, owing to the power of the earth itself aiding them.
Effect: The user gains +2 Awareness, and +2 to Gen Save against all Kinetic Genjutsu. User can see through Illusory Clones.

<i></i> - Jutsu (1 point, 1 to rank up)
Restriction- A-Rank and up
The power of earth can be used to protect or to destroy. This jutsu is the epitome of that, summoning a giant enclosure of stone to trap the enemy or protect the user--or perhaps shield a wounded ally.
Rank 1: Summons a giant enclosure of stone that traps the enemy at -4 accuracy. Tomb walls have 8,000HP, regenerating 1000HP/round, deal 5% reflect damage to any unarmed melee attacker due to their hardness, and take 50% damage from fire, lightning, and wind jutsu. Cannot be teleported out of or into by use of jutsu. Can either heal 800HP/round with positive energy or deal 1000 damage/round with negative energy (counts as earth element damage).
Rank 2: Summons a giant enclosure of stone that traps the enemy at -3 accuracy. As he branched from the tree he slept in, the former steadfast warrior of the Gaian people stumbled out forcefully. Though he slouched over he didn't fall. For many years, a short blade sat in his chest as he slept. It was strange to the reborn being, the painful sensation within his body, fighting so hard to push it out while the bark that grew around him formed an exoskeleton of sorts. This outer shell prevented the transforming inner working of his body from pushing out the combat knife. The thing that was once a man reflected on the difficulty he had wedging the weapon into himself. In his pass life, he made use of a breathing technique passed down to him from is father Zantama, though that wasn't his original name. Zantama's breathing technique harden air around the body to make an extremely tolerant, yet invisible film that in-cased the body known as Invisible Armor. As a man, it was a struggle to disrupt a breathing technique practiced so frequently that it became as natural as walking, but he did manage and find a place for the edged weapon. However, the space in took in his chest was no longer acceptable.

As he pulls out the knife, a light spray of blood exited his wound and immediately stops. The man-like creature studied the knife for a moment, confirming that it was in him from the evidence found on it. However, he looked at his chest while still slouched over. He felt shifting in his chest yet, he didn't see blood leaving the hole. As he began to straighten up his stance he staggers. Despite being aware, awake and alert, he found movement to be a problem for the time being so he braced himself against the tree. The aching in his chest rapidly subsided though as he looked down again, the wound closing up before his very eyes. Still, not a word was spoken by the person with old clothes
that he was force to wear for decades. With the knife in hand, he raised his hand to cut his arm but, a light slice wouldn't do the trick. The blade felt like it was running against something extremely hard, but he didn't believe the he was using his Invisible Armor. His body was feeling weird to him. He tried to stand on his own again but struggled to stand straight, much like a toddler at first.

Raising his knife again he would apply more force for sought to understand the occurrence that his just experienced within his chest. A short burst of a shout leaves his mouth as realizes the tried too achieve his goal. More then a gash was made as the broad knife went through his skin and out the other side of his arm. His swiftly rips out the weapon throwing himself off balance and falls. Lifting up his injured left arm he watches as blood flow stops almost instantly and the oddly much bearable pain fades. His tolerance not only damage, but also to pain itself had seemed to spike over the years. But as he completely healed, he makes a realization that had gotten past him until this point,... his skin was blue. From the moment he left the tree, skin had been blue, but now that his wounds were gone this new hue started to fade back to the tone he remember. He "unspokenly" reasoned with himself that receiving damage would cause him to change color for a short time, though he didn't realize that this wasn't the absolute truth to the matter.

As he works his way to a standing position again he begins to calm himself. He would then begin to force himself to walk one step at a time. With the transformation that had occurred, the being found it a that he would have to somewhat retrain himself to walk and many other things. He took slow steps, each one with a propose. He would stop after the third one though to find that he was very aware of his environment. He's sense were beginning to sharpen. He discovers that he is able to "feel" more of his environment. He takes another step and find that he as capable of feeling the specific details of the area around him, even around things that blocked his vision. It was as if he were unified with his surroundings. He chuckles at the thought of the past. A few of those Gaians that were quite knowledgeable in and capable of tapping into what they called the "Life Stream", tried to instruct this one who was once a human child. So long had he struggled and failed to grasp the concepts, mentality, and spiritual unity that they patiently taught him. He just simply couldn't get it back then but after years of literally becoming one with a tree, that all changed.

Some time ago before the creature was, he was once a man. A son birthed to two different warriors from two different lands. The father known to the son as Zantama was actually from a European nation originally. The mother, Aniko, was from the main lands of Japan. They were once enemies on the battlefield. Two different proposes for each side were conflicting. In one of the few battles in this conflict they met and stood off against each other. As the last of each of their unit they clashed. Daigun, before his adopted the name Zantama, had mastery over a seemingly perfect defense technique. Aniko possessed an unrelenting fury that found its way around any shield. After an exhausting duel, the fighters realized that they had met their true equal and were at a stalemate... and the rest as you could probably guess, is history. While the father taught his son Chutoon Chi a unique ability for defense, the secrets of the Invisible Armor. The mother taught the young man philosophies on offensive tactics.

Aniko crafted the for the young man a combat knife of great durability for it was not only very effective and efficient but, also convenient to care and conceal if need be. One edge was sharp but not too thin, and the other side was toothed. To make use of both sides was one of her focuses in training, but the toothed side could be tricky if not handled with care. The teeth could catch something unexpectedly. Of course unarmed combat had to be taught as well for him to understand vulnerabilities within an up-close enemy, not to mention how to coop should he ever find himself without his knife. He would learn that find methods of approach were far easier when the enemy was unaware of his presence, unaware of his intent. Viewing pattern became easier and if a pattern assessed, initiating attacks weren't as risky.

In both cases, armed or open handed, he would learn from his mother point of view that the best defense was an offense without relent. Careful consideration needed to going into each consecutive strike to force back the opponent and or force open a vital point. Free styling moves wasn't really the best thing to do when rushing an enemy for the complexities movement become simple, and simple was dangerous. Simple when not done right would translate into readable and a pattern exposed is all one needs often times. There was also an effective way to lead enemy into seeing an opening with repetition and smoothing one action into another once the enemy tried to capitalize on the false opening. Smoothing actions this way often caused the strength of the following blows to diminish due to the fading of focus. Speedy numerous strikes not only made it difficult to concentrate each strike with full force potential, but as more strikes would land, it unbalanced the opponent. And the opponents fortitude plays a roll in the recoil they receive from the strike.

Weapon(s) Creations: Approved. But removing the extra "+ 15% damage" on each of them. Spoke with you and these were modifications from Titanic Strength Earthborn Core Ability. You can have those placed in your profile or battle actions when the time comes. Its also the usual Bull Strength Damage Multiplier that is now upped to 25% Melee Damage due to Titanic Strength being a modification to that ability. So +25% would be the correct one as it replaces Bull Strength.

Defensive technique and fearless

Long ago, while he was known as Chutoon Chi, the Incubus was once just a well trained man. Although he couldn't quite understand just how to implore Gaia to aid him in the healing arts at the time, he would survive still. With the use of the gift he received from his father, he would defend his home village from those that were from the shinobi nations. The attacks weren't frequent but enough to be kept on alert and during the time they were attacked, his fathers gift didn't always allow his to go unscathed. Much like organizing what was expendable during raids he would defend against, the man had to sometime decide which body part should take a hit.

Of course as things are now, while known as Goganji, he doesn't have to make those choices to off though he still does from time to time. His new form naturally defends for him, naturally recovers for him. More than once he has received a mortal wound, fallen, stopped, and started again. With the belief that he can't die, he can charge forward confidently knowing that should he make use of his skills with a body like his, he could never be stopped... for long anyway.

I don't see anywhere mentioning the Metal element or how you learned it goganji.

Could you give me some clarification, here or PM. I don't mind approving the rp but I don't see anything that mentions the metal element in anyway shape or form.

due to the fact that the fight was voided and shouta would be void from it, I'm going to have to pre-maturely deny this HOWEVER. I am in talks with other council members, please give me a little time because I don't necessarily want to deny this based on a technicality.

I'm going to step in and deny Goganji learning the Metal Affinity.

The reasons are as follows:
The RP shows no real way of obtaining the Advanced Element. I'm also not going to allow an NPC to "absorb" an advanced element to give it to a PC. The absorption of the Advanced Element is also not authorized due to it not being requested to have a CRPJ for the NPC.

Verdict: I've denied this learning of Metal Affinity.
I would suggest writing up an RP where your character actually obtains it; not your NPC.
If you have a problem with this, feel free to PM me, a member of the council, or an admin and we'll get it sorted out. I'd rather not clutter up your dojo over this.
