Puppeteering is something that flows through his foster father’s bloodline. The Sawada clan was notorious for their abilities to manipulate the movement of inanimate objects. Takamaru sought to show is adopted son the same thing that was bestowed upon him. Since the age of 3 to 9, Shunichimaru trained with his father to just gain the ability to make chakra strings. The time afterward was dedicated to him learning to move one of his father’s first puppets, Snake. Shunichimaru does possess the ability to maneuver the puppet but not in the fashion of a Sawada clan member at his age. Now at 11, he continues to try mastering the art of puppeteering.
