Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

[OCC: I will try to make this as easy as possible since most of my post is in the illusion world.]

The words that escaped from Akujin's mouth must have hit a nerve in the man as his eyes narrowed and there was obvious signs of anger. The man crossed his arms as well and put his snoot in the air as he began to walk away from the situation. The man would only good a few short feet before being stopped due to the illusion, but continuing to be a bullhead about the whole situation would continue to not talk and walk in another direction to try to walk away from Akujin with no avail. This scene would go on for a good few minutes before the man would sigh and look at Akujin knowing he was honestly trapped somewhere that he couldn't escape. He would look at Akujin and curse under his breath as he walked back to the Kanemoto male and say "Whatever, let's do this. I suppose." He would sit on his rump as Akujin would do the same looking at each other. This scenario was going to either end badly or good for one or both of them. Although they were in an illusionary world, they still would be harmed badly if there was any fighting breaking out. The adult of the group looked at the man and motioned for him to speak and the man just sat there with a kunai in his hand which prompted Akujin to do the same. Slowly the man folded his shoulders and said with anger: "I guess I better talk or you aren't going to let me out of this damn world. Very well...where do I start...yes where do I start? That is a great question, don't you think? Where should someone in my pos--"

The man wouldn't finish his thought as Akujin stabbed his kunai in the guy's leg making him move backwards with blood dripping from the wound. The former Stone shinobi shook his head and said: "Stop stalling and tell me. I am giving you one more chance to talk before I end your life." He would then get up and put his gloves on his hands and stare at the man. It was obviously that Akujin was getting irritated with the stalling and this man was stalling for time if ever. The man would take the kunai out of his leg and throw it at the twenty-something shinobi which easily was dodged and Akujin cracked his fists as he began to walk towards him. The man still would not talk and this was problematic for the whole village if the guy choose to not talk since there were others probably in the village, but if the man was not being cooperative he would need to be punished.

With a last ditch effort, Akujin motioned to the guy to give up and talk and he shook his head. This is when Hell broke loose. The Kanemoto male went into a rage and repeatedly kicked and punched the man in his gut and face to the point where the mouth, nose, and repaired ear were all bleeding again but he wouldn't stop the assault on the man as the fists and kicks kept coming in to the fray and the poor man just sat there lifeless as Akujin had kicked the man so hard that the man had blacked out it appeared. This repeated kicking and punching barrage would not stop until Akujin's muscles began to feel fatigue and he was breathing heavily from attacking. Once he had come to his senses, he would fall on his arse and shake his head as the man had gone from a sitting to a laying position and blood was everywhere from the attacks. Blood had smeared his gloves and clothes, the man was covered in dry blood and slowly Akujin would crawl over to the man to check his pulse which there was none.

This is when Akujin put his hands on his head and released the genjutsu and the one on Riyota as well. Out of the illusionary world, the man's body was smeared in blood and so was Akujin's as they laid beside each other. The man was dead, Akujin had collapsed from exhaustion. It appeared the bodies that had gone into the illusionary world had taken a beating when in reality the only life harmed was the man's. If Riyota or Samejima would see Akujin, they would see a body laying on its back breathing quickly but slowing down along with a rapid heartbeat going to a more moderate one. The Kanemoto male was out for the count, but could the two younger shinobi figure out what had happened or do anything to aid Akujin? Find out in the next episode of "This is Certainly Interesting..." only on Ninpocho Network!

"Eh? Wha? Uh..." At a loss, and apparently alone, Naoki wouldn't exactly have much of an idea as to what to do at this point. "What the flip-flying Sandrunner is happening?!" she shouted in frustration, both her allies having passed out, with one seeming to have become unhinged before passing out while the other appeared to have passed out just now after doing something to his head.

If neither of them came to within the next few minutes she would try and carry Riyota over to the hospital, calling someone to try and help the other man as well while she was there. That other guy seemed more capable and he was still breathing normally anyway, she would reason with herself, but she wouldn't have left without first shielding him with a couple of barriers at the very least, which he would be able to exit but no one would be able to enter unless she dispelled them. After then leading the authorities to the coat guy, not knowing his name, she would explain that he was helping them against the Cabal sympathizers and promptly head back to finishing her patrol. She would visit Riyota at a later time for a proper reunion, if things played out this way.

[Topic Left]

If either one of the friendly parties began speaking to her, she would try and stop there to talk to him, and depending on who did come to while she tied the rebels up, she would either ask for details on the situation or ask what had just happened to the one she knew in the skirmish. In the event that they both awakened or have been awake, the tying up of the rebels would still be going on, and she would listen to any conversation that happened carefully.

Riyota slowly came to, due to the fact the man's energy was focused elsewhere and his own energy had reached a surge he was free of the Genjutsu for now. He was pale and shivering, but at least he was alive. "N-Naoki-san..." he began dragging himself towards the girl, his muscles were aching and heavy and his vision was blurred. He was looming on the verge of blacking-out, but he willed himself to stay conscious. Eventually he reached the girl and laid on his back next to her. Breathing heavily, bleeding heavily. His broken arm and jaw bringing him excruciating pain. He was in bad shape, he simply did not have the energy left for his Solar Seal to do anything. His eyes were heavy and he turned to the girl.

"I hope...I didn't scare you." the words came out slurred however. "I didn't...want...to...kill...anyone." he laid his head to the side guiltily. "Naoki...am I...a monster?" he asked his friend, just before he lost consciousness.

While Samejima and Riyota were awake, or at least momentarily, the Kanemoto male still out cold. It seemed maintaining two Genjutsu while fighting in one of them had put too much strain on his weak body. The man was dead that laid beside Akujin and many other bodies that were laying on the ground around the three allies were dead or struggling to stay away from the bright, white light. Unaware of what was happening around him due to being unconscious the mind of the young adult wandered around replaying memories of the fight and how it had all started. He could see the flaws and unwise decisions that Riyota and him had made at the beginning of the fight and how their female ally had also made the mess even worse. Nobody could blame them for fighting the way they did with the numbers against them, but the amount of blood soaking the ground around the entrance of the academy would send alarming signals if there was any Sand shinobi around which there wasn't thankfully. It also did not help matters that part of the academy had been destroyed while they were fighting, but there was nothing they could really do right now in their states. As for Akujin, he slowly was stirring and anyone who was paying attention could hear him leaving out a big sigh as he laid there momentarily after he awoke from his cold state several moments later after he collapsed. He would look at the body beside him and see the pool of blood beside it and shake his head solemnly as he arose to a sitting position and saw the two allies of his near one another with the boy passed out probably from fatigue and bleeding.

His bleeding was bad and he looked like Akujin had been earlier which was unresponsive. It seemed Riyota overdid it fighting, but at least they had stopped all of the people that were visible and had the other ones ran away from the area. Slowly, he would get up with slight pain racing through his body and gingerly walk over to the two kneeling beside Riyota on the opposite side of Samejima. It seemed many of the enemies had been tied down by Samejima while he was cold but many laid motionless either in pain or worse dead. He would deal with the enemies later since Samejima had pretty much hogtied them and they were not going anywhere. Besides, he needed to heal Riyota and his new friend who he didn't know her name before they proceeded. His hands would glow a bright green aura as he placed one on Riyota going over his body trying to minimize the bleeding and heal any wounds that he could. The other one was designed to heal the girl as he looked at her with smirk on his face and said cautiously: "Come sit beside me, let me heal you from your wounds that you sustained on the battlefield. We can discuss what happened after Riyota's bleeding subsides and he wakes up. I was a medical shinobi of the Hidden Stone so we might as well use my abilities here then rushing to the hospital and giving your village even more patients to deal with." His smile would be erased as his eyes would go back at Riyota's body as his bleeding was slowing down and the boy's breathing was starting to go to a steady pace. Akujin himself had quite a few questions to talk with the kid about especially why he had what seemed to be a curse seal/mark on his body. But, questions would have to wait as he continued to take his right hand over Riyota and would use his left hand on Samejima's body if she allowed it. In either case, he would turn his eyes back to her and say: "Mikisugi Kyūji is my name. What is yours? I know the boy's is Riyota, Kuromairu Riyota."

[OOC: To make things clear, the first paragraph for the most part is fluff. The second paragraph he is healing Riyota and willing to heal Samejima but is talking to Samejima.]

Naoki couldn't do much more than stand there, gaping at the wounds that had been brought to light from the voice he managed to squeeze out. She couldn't respond before he lost consciousness, but managed to gather her thoughts enough to at least respond to the man's offer. "Oh, th-thanks for the consideration... Then, sorry for the trouble... My name is Samejima Naoki," she said, sitting down. She definitely hasn't sustained injuries half as severe as Riyota's, but she currently couldn't wrap her head around how battered her friend was at present. "U-um..." Naoki's voice was shaking, trying to enunciate through her shock. "I-is... Is he going to be okay? No permanent... damage or anything?" It had been awhile since she'd even been near a dangerous situation, and it was indeed very good that she hadn't developed the concentration required to maintain her temporary eyesight during battles and stressful situations, or she would've seen all the blood and just lost it completely. "Thank you for the offer to heal me up as well as Riyota-kun... It's times like these that I wish I knew some medical jutsu, hahaha..." Trying to defuse the situation with a little humor, she hoped that strategy of faking calmness would work this time too.

Riyota sat up lightning fast, screaming and sweating heavily, he began panting as he looked around and saw a friendly and a...hopefully friendly face. His breathing normalized again as he realised he had simply been hallucinating. He closed his eyes and exhaled through his mouth. "S-sorry about that." he half smiled, hoping he hadn't freaked anyone out. He looked to the man who had been healing him and gently pulled his arm away. "Thanks, but I'll be ok." he smiled, although he coughed up a bit of blood. "We won at least so...that's good?" He hadn't the energy to put towards healing himself at the moment, but he wanted to prove to himself that he could survive without the help of others. "Are you both ok? Nothing horrendously broken?" he smirked, hoping as well to lighten the mood a bit.

As he continued to heal Riyota, the girl, who he would discover was named Naoki, began to talk to him and she was showing quite a lot of concern for her friend who was battered up, but wasn't dealing with any life-threatening injuries from the fight. The amount of blood loss was bad, but the body could naturally regenerate more blood cells and replace the ones that he lost. Still, his body was not completely normal as his breathing had intensified momentarily before subsiding into a calm, repetitive motion and there was clear signs of strain on his body from going berserk. If Samejima was listening closely, she could hear heavy sighs escaping his mouth as he continued to go over the boy's unconscious body shaking his head every now and then looking at the lifeless body and reflecting on what had happened. So, it appeared the Cabel was still running amok in the village in the form of the citizens and the village itself would need to weed out the sympathizers to at least moderate them or put them in the ANBU lockings until they learned their lesson. Hopefully, there were not anymore supporters of the "terrorist" group around the three shinobi, and there wasn't as the ones in the shadows had fled as soon as the leader had fallen to the ground and was dead. A retreat was the obvious choice.

Still going over the body, Riyota would regain his conciousness and pull Akujin's arm away from him not as an act of an defiance but more so that he wanted to be a big boy even though his body had taken a toll on him. Shrugging, he allowed the boy to do what he wanted even though blood was coughed up by him. It seemed in general that these two were trying to lighten the situation either to ease everyone's emotions or because they were fearful of what was ahead. In either case, the two Sunan shinobi would need to tell their leaders of the incident eventually and let them know that civilians were now supporting this group. Right there and now, Akujin knew he needed to find Kuro or the Kazekage and fast to aid the village as if more and more normal people decided to help the Cabel, there was going to be a complete civil war at hand that make out be able to be handled by sheer Sunan villagers alone. But for now, it was time to get to the bottom of everything with these two and make a brief conversation before heading out to seek one of those two.

Calmly, he would look at them both as he exhaled a deep breath and tried to gather his thoughts. He knew he needed to articulate to them what he was trying to say as he was an outsider and his words meant little to know to most people in this village. Hell, most of the people in this village still were fearful of him because he looked different. He really was not a bad guy, just different in the way he looked and how he dressed and talked. Eventually, they would need to get over themselves if he did decide to make this village his home. He would address the severe issues at hand first with Samejima and Riyota and then proceed to less minor things. As he began to talk, a serious tone could be heard from him as his eyes were fixated on them while his ears were being alert for any strange activity around them. "Well Naoki, it seems Riyota is awake so you can ask him about how he is feeling. But when I was healing him, I didn't see any severe signs from him...just a lot of bleeding that will be fine as his blood will be de-oxygenated after it is out of his body and thus will create a little protective layer. But to keep medical terms out of it, Riyota and you will both be fine and so will I. We all just sustained minor injuries that do not need any further treatment"

He would stop momentarily to catch a breath and then continue: "And Riyota, yes we did win but the amount of causalities and destruction was definitely not ideal. But seeing as Naoki tied all the living enemies up, you should just need to call the ANBU to come handle them and bury the ones who lost their life fighting for their cause. Most importantly, one of you should tell a Sennin or your Kazekage about this incident and warn them that there are sympathizers in the village...not sure how they will handle it, but it is good to forewarn them."

Again, he would stop to breath and this time would look around a few moments before continuing in his serious tone. "I can teach both of you medical jutsu if you want to learn about it and what not at a future date. But for now, cleaning this place up and repairing the academy would be key even though I heard rumors that your government is building above this level. As for you, Riyota, I am not sure what happened back there in that fight but I can assume it was a curse mark that I saw on you...where the Hell did you get that? You children shouldn't be getting involved in curse seals or anything dark at your ages, let alone your lifetime. I won't say anything about what I saw from you, but try to control that or you could've killed Naoki or me."

He would then gingerly get up from his position, stretch and yawn. This had been an eventful day so far and he still did not see the academy, but that would have to wait until another point. For now, it was time to tend to his wounds alone and away from these children so that they didn't need to see anything too gory or graphic for their young minds or hear for that matter since he assumed the Naoki girl was wearing a blindfold on her eyes because she was blind, but he wasn't sure. He would look at them both and say: "If you two have anything else you want to say or ask me, please do so now. If not, I am going to head out and meet with someone who I should've talked to days ago but wasn't brave enough to deal with the desert whose name is Toraono Kuro."

If they did not need him or need to say anything, he would head off waving goodbye to them as he went to find Kuro.

[Topic Left if Nobody Needs Me. If you do want to say or need anything, go ahead and let me know. I will check the thread regardless. This was a great roleplay and I appreciate all the time and effort put into it.]

Okay, thank goodness... Naoki nodded, in a somewhat solemn fashion, when the boy asked about winning the battle. "Nothing broken on my end... Your arm doesn't seem to be all that great though." She sighed, much like the heavier ones the man had let out some time earlier, and shook her head. Her expression hardened as she heard the term 'curse seal' being used to describe what Riyota had, the thing that was causing him to go berserk. She wondered if it had any connection to the power seal she had on her right hand, occasionally visible when in the right light conditions. Currently however, it was not visible, but it was somewhat metallic in nature as it was created with metallic ink. She said nothing more, though she was somewhat curious as to what business the man had with the Sennin of the Main Branch. He's probably just got a bit of official business... Medic-nin have a lot more to worry about when it comes to paperwork and stuff after all I guess? Probably shouldn't ask, it's not like I'd understand it. What I should do for now though...

"Okay, thank you mister. I'm sure they know about all this by now, since this is what I'm assigned to try and prevent, but thank you for your concern." She'd been taught how to deal with people who wanted to take things up with the bigwigs when something wasn't right with the village, and it was something that she often did have to repeat given the nature of her patrolling and where she lives, so it sounded somewhat out of place when compared to her usual demeanor. When she finished, she gave the man a bow and turned back to Riyota. "We should get you some more medical attention I think, Riyota-kun, just to be safe... If you wanna rest I can carry you on my back, and we can talk once you've recovered?"

Riyota stared down at the ground, feeling extremely guilty for what had transpired while he received the lecture from Kyuji. He attempted to will his Solar seal into action but that just caused him to cough more. He began to feel like vomiting. "Goodbye...Mr Kyuji." he said between shallow breaths. As Naoki addressed him he smiled lightly and slowly shook his head. "I think I've put you through enough...without making you...carry me." he gave her a mischievous wink, before his arm began shaking and gave out beneath him. "Just leave me here...for a little while...and I can...catch my br-..." the boy vomited, facing away from her. He was not feeling well, which he assumed had something to do with the seals. He began breathing heavily.

Wordlessly, the genin lifted Riyota carefully, making sure his arm was stable, and started off towards the hospital. She introspected a lot less than she usually used to, and in the silent journey over there she was able to try and think on what exactly had happened and how she could've prevented this sort of damage... But there was nothing short of clairvoyance that could've given them both a better chance at not sustaining as many blows as they had, and she wasn't about to try and get some kind of future vision to try and do the impossible. More importantly, what was that curse seal Mikisugi-san was talking about? I don't know if I should ask about it either... But maybe I should? He might not know much about it himself if he used it though... Heck it's got the word 'curse' in the name...

She remained silent for the rest of the trip regardless of any objections, since it didn't seem like the boy was in any condition to object anyway. Once they got to the hospital, she would get him all set up for extended care before waving and letting the medic-nin do their jobs, waiting outside until they gave her the ok to head in. If it took too long or they told her to leave for now, she would do so and visit some other time.

Riyota was still against the notion of his friend carrying him, but in the state he was in he couldn't do much to stop her. He opened his mouth to object but couldn't form the words. So he just let his head hang to the side in defeat as his hands twitched and spasmed ever so slightly. How do I expect to succeed if I can't even handle a small scale battle without ending up like this. he thought to himself, becoming upset as his friend carried him to the hospital.
