"Not gonna lie, I am sore!" The voice of a young girl rang through the streets of the Red Oak District. Since they only had Shinzo's class this morning, the two academy students found the streets less busy than usual, only just starting to pick up the usual afternoon foot traffic. The morning street vendors were beginning to tear down while the afternoon vendors claimed their spots, and the smell of stronger spices began to fill the warm air. These streets were some of Reicheru's favorites in all of Konoha, full of vibrant life and good memories. They passed by several shops and vendors before coming to the dividing line between Ichiraku Ramen and Azumi’s Dango Shop. Normally chaotic and bustling to get through the line of customers, for now they seemed calmer, most people still being in class or at the office. "Azumi's has great green tea, good for a weary body! My treat." Reicheru said to her newfound friend before making her way into the shop.
Locating a few empty stools, Reicheru sat up at the bar and ordered a plate of dango for her and Kahora to split and two cups of green tea. While they waited, Reicheru stretched her neck one way and then the other, feeling a slight pop each time. That obstacle course had taken a toll; she didn't want to think about how she'd be feeling tomorrow. Settling into her chair and propping her elbow up on the table, chin in her hand, she turned to Kahora and smiled. "You know, it was always my dream to get into the academy and become a shinobi. Even though it can be exhausting, like today, it's everything I wanted it to be so far." She paused for a moment, looking around at the other people enjoying their lunch, many of them with friends, some of them seemingly on lunch break, others just taking some tea while they read the paper. All of them were her family, and the reason she was doing what she was. Could she ask for a better daily reminder? Turning back to her fellow student, she cocked her head with a smile and asked, "So what do you think about the academy so far? Is it all you were expecting?"
