Something had gone wrong. Within the pitch black darkness engulfing the cavern Kumiko hadn't been able to see where the egg sack was. Apparently it was behind the brood mother. And it was only now her sharingan eyes could see the tiny chakra signatures spilling from the sack like a fountain. They would search out what ever food source was closest. That was the brood mother. Kumiko was going to have to think fast if she was to save the giant spider. Not only would she have to protect her she'd also have to lure the hatchlings away towards the dead Unbent.
First things first. Kumiko needed to protect the brood mother. " Don't worry. I'll handle this." With a series of hand seals Kumiko would errect a defensive barrier energy sphere around the mother spider. Hopefully the barrier would keep out the hatchlings and they would divert towards the dead Unbent. To make it that much easier for the tiny spiders Kumiko would take out her Naginata and, like their mother, start ripping apart the Unbent body for them to fest on.
