Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Akira sent messages to everyone who needed to receive them.

He would be leading a mission personally to Stone. It had been many years since Stone's murder of a Cloud shinobi, but there was some lingering ill will from Cloud, and Akira wanted to remove that entirely. To do so he needed to make a move, break the ice so to speak.

Akira waited in his office for them to arrive.

Kouin, the ANBU Sennin and ex-Mist ANBU would join him. His instant position as ANBU Sennin was one which had been questioned, but had gone smoother with the people of Cloud than Akira thought it would. Their faith in Akira seemed stronger than he had anticipated. However it was a move which filled more holes than people who had questioned the decision gave Akira credit for. Much of the problem in Cloud over recent years had been caused due to a seen issue between Mist nomads and Cloud's inhabitants. The positioning of Kouin showed that there harbored no ill will between the current rulers of Cloud and those cast from their home. Many crimes associated with this issue ended shortly after the decision. Though Akira was sure that within the ANBU itself Kouin still faced staunch hatred for his prior actions.

He would join Akira, for two reasons. One was that Akira was certain he could handle the man should his word be false, while should that turn out to be the case while Akira was away then who knew what would happen. The second was that it would give the man credibility among the people of Cloud, show that he is who he says he is, a first step along a long road to redemption.

Hyazo would join them. Hyazo was a recent replacement for his guard captain, Akuhei stepping back with Koumyou to allow the younger shinobi room to grow and taking on alternative assignments. As captain of Akira's guard he would come with, it was his duty to keep Akira alive after all.

Shashu, another Cloud ANBU would be coming along as well. Her role was less obvious, and she knew what she was there to do, though time would make her task most difficult. It needed to be someone as stealthy and unseen as her to take that part of the mission, for if caught in a key location and identified that could spell disaster for the diplomatic side of the mission. And yet, if she found that the murder had been deliberate, and backed by their administration, then it was something Akira needed to be aware of before signing or agreeing to anything.

Junko would come with them, the medical shinobi would be there to provide that support should they need it, it was a requirement, and he'd be there to further Akira's training. Also it'd do him good to get out and about, his brother would probably come along for the ride.

Now he'd wait to see if they all turned up.

With the Prodigy Brothers recent return, they managed to get to the Tsuyoshi's resident and spend some valuable time with family. Karin, Junko's future wife had un-retired and entered the shinobi ranks again during Junko's absence away from the village. She had to provide, nurture, and begin getting the twins ready for the academy. So, she dusted off the old headband and went to work. She seemed stronger, tired, and happy by the look in her eyes. Tears poured as she was finally reunited with the love of her life.

Of course Junko would check in with a path, but never could stay long as he had to balance his paths between himself, training Saito Akira, missions from the Raikage, missions from the medical sennin, and a few hospital check-ins.. Thankfully, Junko had faith that Akira-sama would look after his family, otherwise being away would've been much harder. Bonding with the giant was quite intriguing. Often, Junko found himself learning from him as he taught, gained wisdom from him as he spoke, and became rather comfortable as they formed a bond. Crazy enough, it seemed as if Akira was training Junko in many points as he gave the Tsuyoshi numeral missions outside the village while still active with paths inside the village, pushing his abilities to the brink of insanity.

He was a good man indeed. Another good individual Junko would strive to keep in his life. Daisuke knew what he had when he had him as a friend. Now, that same friend was calling upon Junko despite his recent return. He didn't get a few days break, but rather a few hours. Waking up to the babbling of his growing twin boys about a message, Junko smiled. It was time to get back to work. Of course the twins frowned, but daddy had to do this judging from the message. Giving them pats on the head, Junko smirked.

"I won't be long. Take care of mommy. I promise to get rose and Yoshi to show you that cool clone jutsu you two have been dying to see."

Excitement filled their eyes as they began nudging Junko out the door by the back of his legs. Laughing, Junko shook his head as he gave a wave goodbye to Karin. As the house door closed, Aiko was already ready as he stood outside yawning. "Let's go." Junko said placing a hand on his brothers shoulder. Using his reverse summon reality step technique, the duo seemingly vanished. Allowing Junko to place a seal in his office came in handy for quick calls for training, missions, or any errands. Of course Junko didn't use this willing. Only when the Raikage called him in.

Appearing in the Raikages office, Junko smirked. "Good Morning! Received your message. Stone huh?" Junk said attempting to be as lively as possible. The lad was still a bit tired. He'd be fully awake soon.

"Hello Raikage-sama." the gentle spirit said shaking his head at his brother.

Standing before the Raikage were two men, growing, and morphed because of him.

[Topic Entered]
CRPJ:

Name of Jutsu: Reality Step/seal

CRPJ's Effect: Allows Junko to reverse summon within a topic. by bending reality around him, creating a reality step. He's able to step through space in a mere instant, faster then normal. Warping energy releases from his pores, consuming him, giving off a flash. Then he'll reverse summon to his destination(Where a place formula must be located) Can take up to two people with him upon contact with their approval.

Jutsu Extension/Special action: User is able to place warping energy into a specialized seal and can place it upon a person(with consent) or object. The seal only remains on an object/person for thirty minutes. And can only be used within a single topic. Junko is able to use Reality step to reverse summon to or near the placed seal. Once used and if Junko wanted to use the Jutsu again, he must reverse summon to a different seal before returning to the previous one, within the 30 minute increment.

Example RP of how it will be used: A kunai placed with Junkos reality seal sat in the grass, stabbed into the ground near a tall tree. At the top of the tree, sat Junko comfortably relaxing. At the buzz of his pager, it was time to go. "Well, duty calls." Junko said as he used His new technique. With a flash, he stood by his kunai, picking it up as he begun making his way to the hospital.

Reason why it cannot be used in battle: It would be impossible to use the jutsu in the middle of battle. the focus required would be too hard to maintain in the middle of battle. Attempting to do so would cause a rip in reality itself, Junko would be lost forever.

Limitations:
*Only usable within single topics [Can not be used to enter a topic/switch topics]
*Cannot be used for things such as Forced Exit/Entry, Running/Fleeing, etc.
*If wishing to reverse summon with someone else requires their OOC permission and contact.
Happy to accept any extra limitations the team feels are necessary.

'Well... thats weird...'

Rushing to the Kage's office from the gates he'd frown. He was probably about to be reprimanded for something however, it didnt feel like anything of that sort. Maybe Kouin had mysteriously died and he was being interviewed for the ANBU Sennin position. Who knew these days but he'd leap from building to building. Through the Susukino district and towards the building at large. It seemed urgent but how urgent? Was there something he needed to prepare for? These things and more continued to roam through his head. It was crazily hanging over his head, but he was over thinking it likely.

He'd find himself clicking his boots to the floor below. "Right.", it was short but he'd simply walk into the room with the now standing Junko and another man. He knew neither personally. Then across the room was Saito, Zo would walk past the duo as they seemed to just get there, he didnt have the information, but then again he would hear something ringing in his ear from his desk about a mission to stone. Which would affirm his questioning on being here. "Ah. Greetings Raikage-sama.", bowing he'd slip himself into a corner of the room awaiting the rest of the calvary to join. He was going to act ANBU until otherwise told. It was for the best anyways.

"Thank you, I'll be there." Shashu yawned at the messenger, who dipped their head in acknowledgement and went on about their business.

She let the door close and checked the clock. It was still just a few hours after sunrise, she had ample time before the meeting. Another one hmm? I wonder if it's another delay, or if we're finally going to get this ball rolling...well, shower first, then food, then we can worry about thinking.
~One Steamy Shower Later~

After stepping out of the shower Shashu felt much better, the cleansing ritual driving away the morning grogginess. Breakfast consisted of half a box of meatbuns left over from the day before, which were consumed while she pulled on her ANBU gear. With her preparations thusly complete she left the apartment and made her way to the Torre, stopping only to nick a fresh box of meatbuns from her favourite stall. She left money behind of course. It was her favourite stall after all.

It didn't take her long; though she took a meandering route to the tower she still arrived inside of twenty minutes. However...looking up at it from the alley brought a spark of mischief to her thoughts. She stuffed a meatbun in her mouth, sealed the other meatbuns (for safety), and disappeared into shadow.
~Several Minutes Later~

"Heya Shaiho-shawa, hah goef eh?" Shashu piped cheerily around a meatbun from a seat on the windowsill, having popped back into view after climbing in. Her spirits were high after having slipped past the watchful ANBU outside, a feat that always put her in a good mood. There were few who could hold a candle to her talents, a fact she enjoyed demonstrating whenever possible.

Of those present she was familiar with two: Saito of course, as Raikage one would be hard-pressed to find a villager who wasn't, and Hyazo the ANBU Vice-Commander. Shashu recognized the other two from around the Aesculapium, but didn't know their names. She swallowed the last of her meatbun while unsealing the rest of the box and offering it to the room.

"I see you've got the right badge this time Vee-Cee. Meatbun?"

He got the directive delivered right to his office via shadow servant; he flipped the envelope over and peered at the Raikage's symbol sealing the letter closed. He sliced his letter opener through the seal, and opened the letter;

Report to Torre Celeste for briefing on mission to Iwagakure, prepare for departure.

-Raikage Saito Akira

His eyes perked at mission directive, go to Iwa? What had happened between the two villages that would require a mandatory meeting of diplomacy? He let out a terse sigh he stood from his chair, and pulled his garb across his shoulders while placing his hat on top of his head. The mission didn't seem of super urgency, so he decided to enjoy the walk to a slight leisure.

He whistled a cheerful jig as he made his way to Torre Celeste; he passed by the Bento shop he had recently discovered, and picked up a small breakfast bento box; after finishing the transaction, he bid them farewell with a wave and a smile, and continued on his way while enjoying his breakfast. He watched as the student made their ways to the morning classes, and walked through the entrance to the Torre Celeste.

He nodded to the secretary at the front desk, The Raikage-sama is expecting me, I'll just see myself up. He offered a slight nod, and proceeded his way up the stares; as he got closer to the room he could see six chakra coils emanating from the room, Hmm, curious. Who else is here? He grabbed hold of the knob, turned, and opened the door.

The room consisted of five other people, but two of which he didn't recognize. The first being the obvious; Saito Akira, Raikage of the village, a gracious leader. He stood as the anchor the rest of the village hangs on. The next was brash, yet exceptionally stealthy Tsuirakuya Shashu, a main member of the ANBU force, and the the leader of the "I Hate Anbu Sennin Kouin" Fanclub, but that was to be expected after his transgressions, so he would pay her little mind until need be. The third was his Vice Commander, and main adversary, Baaki Hyazo; he had stripped the man's arm and leg clean from his body, and forced him to get prostheses, but the man proved to be a worthy rival, which was enough for him.

The two mystery men were which confused him, one appeared to be a medical shinobi of a sorts, which was practical to bring along on any mission to ensure survival, so he dismissed his worry there. Though the other man, he didn't appear to provide anything not already provided by the other members of the party, so his curiosity stuck with that man, but would make it vocal. He stepped forward into the room and made eye contact with everyone in the room while ending on Akira, Morning Saito-sama; I'm sure this is the question everyone is wondering, but what is our directive on this mission?

First to arrive were the brothers. It didn't surprise Akira, Junko and he spent an hour or so a day in training. For Akira the goals were twin, like the boys themselves. Firstly to forge a strong leader in Junko, give him the wisdom he needed to be a member of the leadership in the village that he already was on the brink of anyway. Secondly to be the first Raikage trained in the medical branch.

He would be ready for his Mednin exam soon. They wouldn't test his combat skills, but technical skills, he knew this already for to do the prior was a waste of everyone's time.

Welcome both of you. He said nodding in both of their directions. They were reminders of his friends, and so he cherished them perhaps more than he would ever let them know.

As the door opened and Zo entered, Akira would give the man a nod. He was the replacement to Akuhei, the older ANBU Captain deciding to allow another shinobi step in to guard Akira. Told Akira that it'd be good for the boy. Akira felt that more likely it was so he could go out on more active missions, combat missions, he did enjoy a fight more than anyone Akira knew.

Greetings. He didn't say the man's name. He was well aware of the privacy some ANBU held over their real names, and he wasn't familiar with Zo enough to be able to make that call yet.

A voice called from behind him as he was looking towards the door. Muffled, but still distinctively Shashu's. Perhaps the only person Akira thought could stalk him without him being aware, even if he were on the look out. She seemed in high spirits, perhaps because she was finally going to get to go on a mission which had originally been organized several years earlier under Shin's reign.

Last was Kouin. Akira knew that this was perhaps strange, especially with Zo being the 2ic but in the end Akira needed to bring him at this stage in his development. Zo had to come because Akira was going, it was his job to protect Akira, he was Akira's guard. Kouin needed to come for reasons outlined in the first of my posts.

The question was asked and Akira nodded as the group had gathered.

There are multiple reasons for this mission. The most obvious is to strengthen ties between our villages. It would be good to create allies who we can call on if we were ever to get in trouble, but also it would be good if we could create some kind of exchange between the two villages. However, as Shashu is aware, and perhaps others among you, they killed one of our shinobi many years ago. While we are taking part in negotiations Shashu will be carrying out her mission which will be investigating whether the killing was the fault of the Cloud shinobi, whether it was sanctioned by their government, whether there is anti-Cloud sentiment among the people.

Of course we will also be keeping our ears out for whatever we can while there, however this is Shashu's mission, and one suited for her skills. The only reason I want you aware of it is because if she is caught investigating in an area they wouldn't like her to be, or take exception to her digging up the information she is digging up, then we must all be ready to go to her aid.

He looked at them, and knew that it was something said that didn't need to be said. They were all good in combat, they were all capable, and they would all do what needed to be done.

If anyone gets into trouble, I want to be called first. Something that perhaps did need to be said, but only because to do otherwise would be to protect him. He didn't need protecting.

Any other questions?

One by one, individuals entered. The first was an ANBU shinobi. He was quiet like most ANBU operatives Junko knew. looking at his flowing chakra coils, Junko didn't recognized the individual, but he could tell that he was strong. His chakra was quite dark to Junko and somewhat chaotic. "Their has been rumors that the ANBU have monsters that they've been training. He's definitely here for combat." Junko thought as his eyes shifted towards the window to a rather muffled voice.

The brothers was astonished at the woman's stealth abilities, but didn't reveal it. They didn't even realize she was there until she spoke. "She's definitely here for stealth." Junko thought smirking. "I'd love one. Nothing wakes me up like food!" Junko said making his way to the cute woman with the meatbuns he'd be sure to say thank you to.

As Junko was focused on food, Aiko focused on the door as the last individual entered. A peculiar individual as Aiko never seen him around cloud before. It was almost like he was a foreigner, but who was Aiko to think such a thing when he's been gone for so long. Hell, they were probably thinking the same thing about him. Observing their chakras with his hidden eternal mangekyo Sharingan, each one was different, strong, and had purpose based on their entrance. Aiko could only wonder why he was allowed on the mission, perhaps Saito had use for his eyes or coordination with Junko.

Munching on a warm delicious meatbun that boomed with flavor, The prodigy brothers listened as the Raikage gave his debriefing. The mission seemed simple and potentially dangerous, but mostly diplomatic. Hopefully, everything would turn out well. The brothers would hate to have war, especially since they recently returned. "Trouble means a call to the Raikage. We'll try to avoid that" Junko thought finishing up his meatbun as it was time for any questions. "Just one. If it's discovered that there is an anti cloud sentiment, what should be our next move?" Junko asked just wanting to be steps ahead as usual.

"Hopefully, we could resolve any issues peacefully." Aiko said calmly. Like shin, Aiko inherited a similar gentle spirit.

'Well... thats weird...'

It seemed weird at first but he felt things beginning to steam up a bit as Shashu entered, but maybe it was her hot buns... The Meatbuns she'd brought in. Fresh and tasty, Zo himself could not ignore the smell and would step over to take one for himself. "Hm. Thank you Miss.", he wasnt sure about code names just yet so he'd keep it to himself but giving Shashu a wink as he'd take a bite of the bun he'd turn around to hide the glorious taste that filled his mouth. It was delectable but he would finish with that before noting Kouin's entry. Only nodding to the man before listening in to Saito's mission briefing and scheduling.

"If there is some sort of 'anti cloud sentiment' we'll surely be behind enemy lines, fighting our way out. So I'd suggest everyone keep at least two flares on you at all times...", nodding he'd turn to Shashu and Kouin wondering if they'd have something else to interject. However, it wouldnt matter what Kouin said this was a chance for him to just input the idea that he'd be the choice for ANBU Sennin after Kouin's inevitable death. however long that took...

Though it didnt at all matter in the slightest, but Zo had one question of his own, "If I go... and Kouin goes, who will be running the branch?", frowning because he didnt believe Rega had any business running the branch and new recruits coming in. They'd come back and ANBU'd be ambolished and there would not be a lick of leadership amongst them. It was the same woman that he wouldnt put past her to place her personal emotion in the way of forwarding the branch, attacking citizens didnt seem beyond her spectrum of deeds she'd do. He didnt trust her...

Nobody jumped at her entrance, which was disappointing, but then again she hadn't really done anything special to spook them. She'd just popped in without warning and offered meatbuns, which was, admittedly, not very scary. Not that Saito would have jumped anyway. Hyazo or the brotherly-looking pair might have, but that would have to wait for another time.

On the other hand Hyazo did react to her presence in another way, becoming visibly hot under the collar if one knew what to look for. She considered teasing him about it, but decided against it. It was like old Kashiwa-hakase used to say: 'This isn't the time to use that!'. At any rate Hyazo and the dark-haired brother both took her up on the offer of meatbuns, obviously unable to resist such mouth watering delicacies. Truly, meatbuns were kings-nay, gods among food. They both thanked her for the delicious gift, and she permitted herself a wink in Hyazo's direction. Someone needed to be having fun in this room, might as well be her. The others ignored her offer; Saito predictably didn't budge from his spot, while Kouin not only didn't try to take a meatbun, he jumped immediately into the subject at hand and questioned what their directive would be on the upcoming mission.

Impatient asswad. I poisoned one of the meatbuns just for you, you could have at least had the common courtesy to eat it. Ah well, more for me I suppose.

With Kouin obviously not taking the bait she bit into the poisoned bun herself, chewing thoughtfully as the Raikage explained their mission. It was old news to her of course. Everything Saito said had been hashed and re-hashed each time this operation had been brought up anew over the past few years. She simply waved a hand when her name was mentioned, acknowledging her role in things. He wrapped up with an invitation for questions, of which there were a few.

"Realistically, if there were still any anti-cloud attitudes we'd have heard about it by now. And that's assuming there was any in the first place. Our information network isn't so bad that we would be deaf to something like that for this many years." She responded to Hyazo and the brothers both while carefully licking the remains of the last bun off her fingers. It wouldn't do to leave poison in the Raikage's office after all.

"My money is on this being an isolated incident. The silence from Iwa suggests that something embarrassing happened and they want to sweep it under the rug and pretend it never happened, which probably means some of their nin got in their heads to do something stupid. Or I could be wrong and this is all one big elaborate trap years in the making. Who knows?" Shashu shrugged.

"Vee Cee does raise a good point though. If I may Saito-sama, it may be a good idea to let your Main Sennin handle both branches while we're gone. Shukun at least has the benefit of being familiar with the ANBU and how things are run. They'll trust him."

Shashu pointedly avoided looking at Kouin for that last bit. 'Unlike a certain someone' went unspoken, but those in the room it concerned would hear it anyway. The opportunity to toss a barb his way was just too good to pass up.

The first question was from Junko. It was about what would happen if there is anti-Cloud sentiment. Hyazo said that they needed to be prepared with flares, though Akira agreed that this would be required, he also thought that flares were more of a home advantage thing. They could attract anyone to your position, not just allies. Still, they would do whatever they could, a discussion seemed to have broken out on the topic, and Akira listened to their suggestions.

Shashu stated the more obvious end result, that chances are that there aren't any or we'd know.

The issue of who was running the branch was raised by Hyazo and seconded by Shashu. It was something Akira decided to answer, not waiting for Kouin to do so, after all, Akira had already gone through all the preparations for this himself.

Ayumu will be busy. He'll be taking over part of my responsibilities, I don't want him also having to run the ANBU in addition to this. The previous captain of my guard will look after the ANBU while we're away. He's been a stand in ANBU Sennin before during Kiyo's reign, you all were probably in the Academy... he looked at Junko and his brother ...or not born when he was there. he was the same Academy class as Shin and myself. It was only then that he realised just how much older he himself was.

Akuhei had been a stand in for himself, Akira had let the ANBU on and off for longer than the shinobi before him had even been in the academy.

Pushing the thought to the back of his mind he continued.

He's been an ANBU Captain without any period of retirement since, but has also never shown any desire to step up from his current position. He will run the branch well while we're gone, and this will not put any additional strain on Ayumu. The other ANBU may know who Akira was referring to. There were many captains, but few had their names on the list of previous Sennin after all. Myoumi Akuhei was a fighter primarily, which was why he didn't have any intention on becoming Sennin, he wanted simply to be in the field, fighting. It was also why when someone else showed interest in Raikage Guard captaincy he let them have it and took on a different role. There simply wasn't enough action to keep him interested, sparring Akira could only interest him so much.

It was the most obvious choice all things considered. However this was the issue with picking your number two as the Raikage's Guard... it meant that every time the Raikage left you were without the number two, and it meant that if the Raikage wanted you to come along then someone else had to step up. Still, Akira was thankful he had someone he could rely on to step up.

I agree with Shashu however on the topic of the anti-Cloud sentiment. We would know, and they wouldn't have sent their Sennin to request a meeting. However there might be small groups who may resent us, or might dislike the current kage there and wish to use us to start trouble. Just be careful.

Looking to Kouin slightly apologetically for having not given the man a chance to answer he looked around.

So, shall we make a move?

Kouin's attention was immediately pulled by the unassuming man; Peace would be the optimal choice of course, but we can't rule out that fact that this could be a trap like Shashu mentioned. Kouin brought a hand up to his chin and thought for a moment, This mission is definitely more dangerous for Shashu.... Kouin had to disregard the mutual dislike the two had for each other, and had to take her safety into account; The sennin did seem sincere in his visit.... But this could be a plow to lower our awareness to the situation with words of peace, and mutual trade. His gaze finally shifted over to Shashu, she was obviously clearly adept at stealth, but that didn't make her invincible, So Mr. Meatbun over there, Mori and myself will be in the general vicinity of Saito, but we should also be ready to respond to a signal flare in at least thirty seconds, and we move in to back up Shashu

Than an interesting question came across Kouin and Mori. Who would in fact run anbu in their steed? From the information at hand, it appeared Rega broke some rules under the last sennin rule, but he hadn't actually met the woman, so he wasn't sure on her at all at the moment. Ayumu was the best bet being previous sennin and everything, but he was going to be taking Akira's spot on the voyage.... Thankfully Akira chimed in and saved his ass; it would be Akuhei, Akira's previous guard captain. He let out a sigh of relief, and met Akira's apologetic look, and offered a smile and a nod. Good thing the Raikage had everything already worked out, who knows what Rega would've turned the Anbu Branch into, Tentacle Madness V.3, Director's Cut Kouin shuddered at the thought.

Shashu didn't need to look at him to feel the ice in her words. She was the one who didn't trust Kouin the most, which was understandable. Though he had witnessed first hand how angry Shashu can get, and that could cause issues during the mission, or even casualties... He couldn't allow her temper to get out of hand; his eyes locked with Shashu, I assume we can suppress our mutual dislike for one another for the integrity of the mission? I'd like to imagine we can all keep it professional for safety sake. All right? He had hoped his words had some form of impact, but if they didn't, it mattered little to him.

He locked eyes with everyone in the room and gave a nod.

May Raiden guide us swiftly.

'Well... thats weird...'

Standing at arms with the idea, he would figure in his soul and heart of hearts that this was going to go sour. So a bit of contingency planning would have to go into this, and with everything within him he'd begin strategizing within his mind about what he'd have to go about doing. Though if all went well he'd likely get some nice plant life to bring back for research with Shashu and Saki different kinds of poisons and such. It wouldnt matter at all too much though so with the thought in mind he would finish the meatbun and smile, "That was delicious by the way.", nodding once again it would seem as if things would culminate to an idea that this was definitely going to be wonderful, and scary all at the same time.

Who knew though, it could be a great act of diplomacy, a great thrill of adventure and it would open the borders and break down barriers. This was a sound move that had its flaws but in all great diplomatic situations there would be ups and downs to it. Who knew in the end what would happen.. To the brave it would test their mettle and to the weak of heart they would never know the possibilities of what could have been and what should have been. Looking at Shashu, Zo would think this all too well, she was so wrapped tight in something that she would ultimately not give life a chance to be more than just what it was, being the sidelined outer character in someone elses story...

Zo would sulrely have to change that... "We're heading out now? Guess so.", placing the mask back over his features he'd nod and head out busting into an amass of shadows and heading out the door. Awaiting the next move.

After Junkos question, the room filled with conversation and shade as the ANBU shinobi built a bit of tension. The brothers could understand why though. This new ANBU sennin, Kouin was something else. He was the same man with a vivid imagination about the Prodigy Brothers gate entry, killed their fellow comrades, and was now leading them.

So much hostility could be felt, Emotion, and more. Yet, Junko could care less about the guy. Long as his son was taken care of and he was contributing to the village for his crimes without anymore commotion, Junko was fine. He was simply trusting his Raikages decision. Of course he would keep an eye on him though.

Making their way out, everything was all cleared up. One by one, the room cleared as well. Looking at Aiko as he stared at the first ANBU that entered weirdly, Junko rose a brow. Shifting his attention to the same individual as well as he exited, Junko tilted his head a bit. "I know that chakra filters through the heart and pumps chakra similarly to blood. His chakra is filtering through three separate areas. Does this one man have three hearts?" Junko questioned as his scientific list grew. If only Junko had the opportunity to split the man open.

Oh well, maybe some other time. Now, was time for diplomacy and Junko had to still summon his personal Calvary for the mission. Placing a hand on Aiko's shoulder Junko nodded. "Let's go bro." Junko said as his brother stood and the duo began making their way out, leaving Shashu as the last individual to leave.

With Saito laying down his solution Shashu no longer had anything significant to offer the conversation. Talk continued without her regardless, with Saito re-iterating what she said previously and Kouin offering his take on the mission. An unnecessary opinion, considering everything he said had already been pointed out by others. She simply chewed away while the meeting wound down.

Those present began wrapping up, addressing their final concerns and sending veiled glances at each other like a secret cabal. Kouin even felt the need to address her personally, asking if they could suppress their mutual dislike of each other for the mission. If they had been anywhere but the Raikage's office she would have bit back with a crack at his expense. Several came to mind; the one where she asked how many of his comrades she had killed to warrant his portion of the dislike was particularly good. Still, she had to respect Saito's presence and play nice regardless of how much it irked her that he would even suggest she'd be anything less than professional.

"Yes yes, professional delicacy, whatever you say." Shashu answered, obviously annoyed as she waved him off. Following that everybody started filing out save Saito and herself, with Hyazo thanking her for the food. She threw a smirk his way and tossed him another bun by way of reply, then simply sat in the window for several minutes. The kage raised an eyebrow for a moment, then shook his head and returned to his desk.

Another few minutes went by before Shashu suddenly stood up, saluted Saito with a grin, and promptly backflipped out the window. Such was her airtime that she was able to get off a 720 Freestyle Airborne Kickflip Wheelie into a Downtown Understyle Meteor Boogieblocker with a Verticle Triple Marty McTwist, and land square in front of Kouin, Hyazo, and the brothers as they exited the building, impacting the ground with such force that cracks spread through the stone at her feet. It was an undeniably impressive feat of such utter skill that even Kouin held up a sign proudly proclaiming her aerial display as a solid 10/10.

She bowed at the waist in acceptance of such due praise, then simply sank into the earth. All this because, even in the midst of those you hate, it is important to have an exit.

With Style.
