He was very at ease with the world and what happened in it, taking things one step at a time and very rarely getting flustered over even the most serious of situations. Not that he didn't take anything serious, he simply didn't think that the emotional response to situations warranted any exaggerated representation of feeling, though his actions would follow suit in a way appropriate to fit the situation, depending on the level of severity it had. He never seemed to look at anyone or anything in particular, and neither did he ever seem to be visually focusing on his instrument as he played; the Hashigaki blood within him made obvious by how at ease he was with his music, though he rarely fully vocalized, mostly humming along to his plucked tunes. Misc. Personal Details
[col]Character's Physical Description:
At his full height he was 5'11, however his tendency to slouch in a sort of reclining position while sitting gave the appearance of someone a few inches shorter. His build was somewhere between light and moderate, dexterously wiry often used to describe his physique, not that he ever really waltzed about in such a way as to make that apparent. No, he tended to wear loose, psychedelically colored yukata, or overlarge haori over a simple tunic and hakama, both of which are usually much more tame in their coloration, sticking to solid colors rather than the louder admixture of his over-clothes. On his back he nearly always had his favorite instrument, a hand-crafted shamisen, and between his fingers he often idly toyed with the bachi, or pick, of it similar to the way some flipped coins around between their fingers or knuckles. His hair was longer, tied off behind his head into a messy ponytail that fell about halfway down between his shoulder blades, and he was often seen with a toothpick, cigarette or stick of sawgrass between slightly mis-aligned teeth that added to the overall scruffy charm of his 5 o' clock shadow, mildly tanned complexion and the ever-present pair of rayband-style sunglasses he wore. While not exactly hippie, his demeanor and way of moving did suggest a personality of supreme at ease with the world around him.
Character's Mental Description:
"What's with all the questions, man? Sit back and chillax a little."He was very at ease with the world and what happened in it, taking things one step at a time and very rarely getting flustered over even the most serious of situations. If it wasn't obvious by now, his mental state was one of calm balance in all things, laid back only scratching at the surface of his easygoing nature.
Character History:
He was born not far outside of Port Cirrus along the coast of lightning country, where the altitude and chill air didn't prevent him from managing something of a tan. Born blind, he still managed to show signs at a young age of being able to navigate with a preternatural ease through his surroundings. When he took his first steps, silencing those in the room, he still managed to walk his way toward his parents. It was obvious he'd inherited the abilities of a Hashigaki, which had occurred infrequently throughout his extended family tree. Despite not knowing the joy of color or the shallowness of judging someone by their physical apperance - that is a joy.. right? - he still grew up to be rather care free, even learning to sail in the waters outside of his home, a feat, to be sure, for a blind man but not so much for a hashigaki. He'd never learned to read or write traditionally because.. well, he was blind, but that gave him quite an edge; he learned braille, and just to mess with some he learned sign language in order to communicate with the blind, being able to make out the gestures needed even if he couldn't make out finer details quite as well, like faces.
To be honest it probably saved him from a lot of sights that he would have otherwise regretted.
He was classmates with Bugendai Ketsueki, quickly becoming friends with the medical aspirant and graduating to ninja status alongside him, though he remained within the main branch and progressed through the ranks in a rather standard fashion. He maintained his friendship with the guy, however, despite their different duties to the village. It wasn't long after achieving Chuunin that he managed to add to that 'circle' of friends one more person; Hachiashi Haji the Hachimon, or at least Haji had confessed to wanting to learn said Hachimon arts, and honestly Ting Pao got quite the kick out of saying it.
Now a Jounin, he had somehow managed to maintain and even enhance his laid back outlook and lifestyle, taking his responsibilities about as seriously as he did everything else. One thing was for sure; he probably should have been a Nara.

Sonar - Passive
The most notable ability of the Hashigaki, the clan has an uncanny sense of hearing. With this ability, the user is able to not only able to fight on par without vision, But actually be immune the downsides of losing vision...However their sharp sense of hearing also makes them more susceptible to sound effects.
Rank 3: Born Blind, the Hashigaki are not affected by Sight-based Debuffs or Visual Genjutsu. However, their reliance on Hearing causes all non-Genjutsu sound related debuffs to be increased by +1 Debuff. They are also able to be affected by a second Audial Genjutsu, although it cannot be the same Genjutsu they are already being affected by.
Notes:
- At all ranks, the Hashigaki have -1 Genjutsu save against Audial Genjutsu.
- Their Genjutsu immunity only applies to Purely-Visual Genjutsu, as multi-sensual Genjutsu affect more than one sense.
- Similarly, their weakness to Genjutsu only applies to purely-Audial Genjutsu, and not to multi-sensual Illusions.
--
Enthralling Voice - Activated Passive
As if making up for their lack of sight, the Hashigaki are gifted with a soothing voice, masters of vocals of all types. Not only are they able to mimic and sound they hear through their voice, but they are able to imbue chakra into their speech, effecting the senses of others through their voice.
Rank 3: Genjutsu can be Sung to effect multiple targets at -1 DC per additional target. If used against a single target, the Genjutsu has +2 DC

---
Furuuken Stance - Fighting Style
Furuuken, meaning "Vibrating Fist", is a style of Blind fighting making use of the Hashigaki's affinity to sound. User's of this stance channel chakra to their palms, causing them to vibrate at a high speed. This vibration causes a resonance through the air by vibrating the air around their melee attacks to a point where physical contact is not needed to hit their targets, though of course their technique would be all the more effective in full contact.
Rank 3: If an unarmed attack partially hits, the damage it deals is increased by +30%. If it Fully hits, it gains +5% Damage, and inflict a -1.5 dodge.
Costs: 300 Chakra per round

- The partial hit damage bonus is applied to the partial hit's damage percentage, and may not surpass 100% [i](A full hit's damage)[/i].
--
Sonic Scream - Sound Ninjutsu
Though the Hashigaki are gifted with a serene voice, they may not always feel like using their vocals to sound soothing. Using this technique, the Hashigaki screams loudly, their chakra resonating the air around them to the point of pushing light weight debris and material away.

Costs: 2 Ap; 520 CP
Notes:
- Does not stack

The sense of hearing is linked with a person's balance, and the Hashigaki are able to exploit this weakness. Vibrating the air in their palms, the Hashigaki cover up the target's ears and overload the ears sensory with a vibration of chakra at ultra-high frequencies. The result is leaving the opponent unable to hear, with their balance strongly distorted.
Rank 3: -3 Accuracy and Dodge for 3 rounds

- Damage and Hp may be buffed by Ninjutsu and Wind Buffs.
- This is considered a Creation Jutsu.
--
Fevre De Pitch - Song Genjutsu
An invigorating song jutsu that can only be sung with the advanced vocals of the Hashigaki, this chakra infused tune creates a soothing melody that increases the perception of themselves and their allies to the environment around them, keeping their awareness sharp and focused.
Rank 3:

Kinjutsu

Code:

Byakugan Transplant
The mighty Byakugan, one of the most prodigious Doujutsu in the shinobi world that can only be found within the Hyuuga Clan. Known for perhaps being the ultimate trump card for taijutsu users, this Doujutsu is a prized trophy for many who would have the Hyuuga's powers for their own. Yet, few have actually been known to possess this eye due to the fact that it is quiet difficult to best a Hyuuga in battle, and it is not uncommon for Hyuuga to brand their clansmen with Seals that prevent their clan's secrets from falling into the wrong hands. However, should one manage to get their hands on one of these all-seeing eyes, they find that not only do they possess the ability to see all forms of chakra around them similar to the Hyuuga, but that they also gain access to a variety of Byakugan enabled skills...Though they will never has as much grace as a true Hyuuga.
Information
Prerequisites: Kinjutsu Application, 3 Ability Slots, B Rank
Effects:
- The shinobi has acquired the eye of a Hyuuga, the Byakugan, and is able to tap into the Byakugan's enhanced eyesight. This must be activated for 1 Ap and 750 chakra, and gives the user +2 Accuracy/Dodge, and enables them to see all within 1000 Meters.
- Maintaining their Byakugan costs 360 Cp per round.
Emulated Jyuuken - Unarmed Fighting Style
The secret behind the Hyuuga's Taijutsu is much deeper than simply relying on the Enhanced vision of their Byakugan. The Hyuuga are geniuses of Taijutsu that spend years perfecting their strikes to target even the smallest targets of the chakra system. Even if one manages to gain a Byakugan and can see the inner Tenketsu of the body, it is near impossible for them to strike with the same precision of a Hyuuga. Knowing this, one with a stolen Byakugan can train themselves to imitate the Hyuuga, though this differs from the actual Jyuuken style, not being so "Gentle" due to inexperience. Instead of utilizing finger jabs which damage the internal organs, this style focuses on palm strikes, each infused with chakra that sends a jolt of chakra resonating upon strike. Though a powerful variant in its own right, that's all this will ever be; an Imitation.
Information
Prerequisites
Hakumei/Byakugan Transplant
Effect:
- The user's unarmed attacks only deal 90% damage, though gain +1 Critical and ignore 10% worth of Damage Reduction.
- Unarmed strikes gain a +10% chance to cause suppression.
Cost: - All CP costs are increased by 5% while active.
Scan - C-Rank Ninjutsu
The Byakugan possesses the ability to see all within a certain radius, nothing being able to escape its wide field of vision. However...this visual sensory is beyond the processing of a normal human's mind, and naturally, anyone but a Hyuuga would find that their visual range is shortened significantly. Using this however, one can focus and block out other senses and concentrate purely on their Byakugan sight, temporarily increasing the distance of their sensory range and enable to pin point their targets through their chakra view.
Information
Prerequisites
Hakumei/Byakugan Transplant, C-Rank
Rank 1: User take's -4 dodge for the round. Visual range increases by 400 Meters and All Stealth and Genjutsu Checks are rerolled with +2.5 Awareness/Gen Save applied to the user. Eight Trigrams Acupuncture - C-Rank NinTaijutsu
A technique that was initially created to imitate the Hyuuga's high speed Tenketsu pokes, the result produced a different effect altogether. Heaven's Dance of Hazy White - B-Rank Unarmed Taijutsu
A technique gained through many attempts of perfecting the Jyuuken, those who devote many rigorous hours of training tend to find that they just can't quiet get how the Hyuuga manage to infuse bursts of chakra into each jab. Unable to accept their hard work has been for nothing, these Hyuuga-wannabe's often find themselves on a new path that turns their training into a different technique. This technique surrounds the user's hands in a glowing white chakra coating, and strikes the opponent multiple times, each one sending a shock throughout the targets body that can stop most opponents in their tracks.

Eight Trigrams Heavenly Guard - A-Rank NinTaijutsu
Perhaps the ultimate form of this style of Jyuuken, this technique is one of several which bear the title "The Ultimate Defense". After mastering the use of infusing chakra into each and every strike, mastering the technique of molding it into needles shot from the palm, these shinobi can learn to manipulate the length and arc of the needles. During this technique, the user waves their arms with the speed of the Hyuuga and become a blur, striking out at a large area around them that protects themselves and allies while preventing any outside force from entering. Though this technique cannot be destroyed due to the user constantly creating new threads of chakra, this is unlike other defensive techniques, and requires the user to remain in constant motion, giving them no time to rest.

Eight Trigrams Divination Seal - S-Rank Ninjutsu
The secret trump card to all Byakugan user's, a technique that brings forth the icon of their training; The Symbol of the Eight trigrams. This Ninjutsu infuses the chakra of the user into the ground upon sinking into their style of Jyuuken stance. Normally, Jyuuken practitioner's envision a seal of the Eight Trigrams around them to help focus the range of their techniques, but this actually creates a visible glowing seal of chakra around them, quickening their movements to the point of a blur and enabling them to move with super-shinobi speed. While active, the user seems to be able to strike any target around them simultaneously without so much as a simple movement, and all strikes made upon them seem to be deflected without any effort. The secret behind this skill is that the seal enhances all physical aspects of the user, and enables them to react nearly instantly as the world around them becomes viewed in slow motion.
