Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

ooc: Sorry to cut Kyuji and Akkuma out of the posting order, but I need to reply while I have internet access...

Kuro smiled genuinely as Mikaboshi made his presence known. He was a bit different since their last encounter. For one, even though it was indeed his presence Kuro felt, the scent and the structure were off. Mikaboshi had taken on a new form. One far more human than his previous undead construct and worse yet he had a true presence, a living presence.

Kuro nodded to Akkuma and Kyuji that he would be back shortly as he gestured to Mikaboshi so they could speak alone in the hallway. "I am a very hate-filled being at this moment Mikaboshi-sama... I am all but certain from our brief time shared to keep you corporeal that you above all others know a hatred far more complicated than my own. Speaking of Sousuke I have asked him to release you from your contract.<i></i> ((Kuro did not get into Sousuke's response but not mentioning it spoke volumes as well.))To be frank with you I have been pushed aside by Sunagakure in general as the reason the Cabal was able to cause so much damage and simply put I am willing to accept that burden as it is part of my binding to Sunagakure. Be that as it may I am not so concerned with my fate as I am for you. When last we had time you had reforged yourself. Now you wear the scent of human life it would be disconcerting to others but between us monsters whom must destroy higher lifeforms in order to maintain our special capabilities I am all but certain you have been forced to do something far beyond your original station. I will not ask you why you changed and I will not ask you how you did it. I only have one question. Are your current actions necessary? I understand that may be a hard question to answer but I want to understand you. As two beings capable of and willing to do terrible things for what we believe is right I feel a certain bond with you. Though I know few care for my kind and you above all others according to history would rather have nothing to do with one such as I. I would very much like for us to mutually understand one another. As for myself, I am indeed embarking on a quest for vengeance they have made this quite personal. With what intel was gathered from the Cabal my mentat and council have told me their origins and backers are the Imperial Liege of Kaze no Kuni. At this moment and the future it will not matter what Sousuke thinks about me or my plans. Like him I will do what is necessary to ensure the village and its people are safe. Forgive my run of the mill manner Mikaboshi-sama, I am certain you did not come to visit just because so please tell me what is on your mind?"<i></i>

Kuro would lean on the wall of the hallway letting the coolness of the stone seep into his back as one of the few beings in existence not fazed by Mikaboshi's presence it was all too disconcerting to anthropomorphize the Deep Court Lord, he was not human, and for him to suffer a true human shell meant he had given up a great deal of pride and suffering to achieve something else. Kuro had a good idea of what he had done but Kuro also knew his sorcery was not in the same league as Mikaboshi's.

Kyuji would smile back at Akkuma as the two other men in the room would begin to respond. Akkuma like he had been doing all night had decided to start again asking about who was leading teams and about his little trump card in-case the group. Hearing that the man had something up his sleeve was great and he would then question them if there was anyone he should start investigating or meet to join their team. The descendant of Byakko had a few names in mind, but he would await his older family member's response before he himself would answer. It would not take long after the last words escaped the demon sage's mouth that the demon-crazed brother of his would start to lay out his plan before slowly giving into the rage it appeared. However, he did give a battle plan and it was far more complicated than it had to be but Kyuji would nod his head to agree with his brother while his fingers were in his ears to minimize the sound level since he had taking a oath with Byakko and had his feline tendencies that were a problem.

He would've responded to Kuro's long speech, but another figure had made "his" appearance in the room and had targeted Kuro with a playful tone as "he" talked to the demon of the Toraono Clan. Thinking quickly on his feet, Kuro would nod to his allies in Akkuma and Kyuji and move the new man out of the room into the hallway leaving the demon sage and the descendant of Byakko alone to talk about plans. He did recall Akkuma asking if there was anyone that he should speak to and there were a few in Kyuji's mind, but he knew he wanted to speak to them himself. He would look at the demon and sigh heavily as he looked him in his mysterious but glamorous eyes. This Demon had power and he had wits, he would prove to be a valuable asset to the team as long as he could be trusted but Kuro seemed to liken him and he was related by marriage so he had to be. Why else would he be bothering with them tonight? Clearing his throat, he would look at the towering figure and say in a friendly tone: "I have people that I THINK will be valuable assets to our team. One of them is Kumoni who is a medic-in-training at the hospital and my apprentice so she has been working closely with me. She has a special technique that is nano-puppetry where she uses nano-insects that are puppets to help her do her medical work...it is quite impressive and she actually did surgery on my broken shoulder from Riyota. There is also Koizumi Mao and Aikayume Azusa who are two students but they have caught my attention in class. Mao seems to like to use earth techniques and focuses on taijutsu while having a body that seems like it is out of steel as she doesn't take damage easily. Azusa seems to enjoy using genjutsu and sound ninjutsu through her flute and she has a mastery of that flute aside from playing it out of tune...she also seems to fit the bill appearance wise as she has fox-like ears which go well with your wolf ears and my cat ears."

He would then close his eyes as he took a deep breath and then exhaled it. He would then resume his gaze upon Akkuma as he continued: "I know you may be thinking two academy students, what the Hell are you thinking? It is simple, those two and our little daimyo-to-be all impressed me since I met them and I want to keep them together in a team as long as possible as I think it will be beneficial to them and the village. I will ask Mao, Azusa, and Kumoni if they are interested but you are free to come along and try to sway them...just please don't make any contracts with them unless they ask for them. Moving along, I am giving Suru, Azusa and Mao an exam in a week's time to prove to me and to our group that they are cut out for this all. As for you..." Another breath would be taken here before continuing. "I am fine with you training Riyota, Suru and Kagari under one condition...you let me be there with you to administer medical aid if the kids need it. I will also request you let me take Suru and train him with Mao and Azusa since I want them to be together." He would then extend his hand and tilt his head to the side as he continued: "So what do you say, Akkuma? Can you agree to those terms with me and bury the hatchet between us earlier? You know I was only alarmed because I didn't know you personally and you kinda invaded the Dojo really late at night haha."

As those last words were escaping his lips, his mind would begin to wander: "So Kuro seems to have a plan in place already and it seems like a great idea but I hope we can actually succeed in it. I really don't want to bring young genin into this mess but if Akkuma has confidence in his subjects than maybe I should have confidence in my students and Kumoni. Kumoni would be a valuable asset to the team with her medical skills and the girls could provide a valuable distraction or aid to the team...but I just don't know if I should tell them and get them killed possibly...what would the village and their families think of that? I would probably get jailed...oh dear, oh dear...I need to stop or I am going to hyperventilate and this man is going to think I am a damn wacko. Ugh, why does my mind and heart think two different things. Hell, what is Yanshi going to think about this all with being pregnant with our child and having me possibly never return to see our child grow up or have a father...ugh....I feel sick BUT I must be strong for my family, for my clan, and for myself. I gotta be strong I just gotta...stop doubting yourself and your fellow shinobi...believe in them and yourself like your family believes in you for Byakko's sake."<i></i>

[OOC: The color at the end is me trying something, nothing special. Also sorry for the rambling, I am sick and I wanted to make something good lol]

Smiled that devilishly shark-like grin he was thoroughly impressed by Kuro, the man wore Wrath well. However before Akkuma could comment on his brothers words he felt a new presence one that he'd yet to come across. The Chaos nature in him briefly took control as he stepped toward the newcomer, he almost roared a challenge at the being. Something within his vey nature compelled him to, he needed to defy his every instinct. With the control provided by the power of law he'd just moments ago received he halted his movements. Noting that Kuro seemed to know this newcomer, his brother even left to have a private conversation with the man. The Dark Sages tail flicked behind him as he contemplated what to do, he was a dangerous sight to behold. Looking as if he were waiting for the right moment to burst forward. With a sigh he resigned himself to let the two sunans have their discussion for now. 'This is an unknown variable...' he thought to himself with a sigh how he despised not knowing what to expect. The demon looked at Kyuji then back to the door where Kuro had gone, with this mysterious figure. "I'm sorry Kuro I tried to leave it to you.." he would say quietly as he expanded his will through the dojo until it connected with the mind of the newcomer.

The next words he spoke would be heard only by Mikaboshi, this conversation was going to be had via his Demonic Mindlink Jutsu. "Greetings...when you've finished your discussion with Kuro I'd like a word in private. That is if you would be willing to allow me a moment of your time. I'd like to introduce myself properly, I think there is much we should discuss and I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter." the Ancient would hear the Demon Sages voice, charming and dangerous. He wouldn't be surprised if Kuro felt his will surrounding the ancients aura. His brother should have realised the Sage would at least investigate the newcomer. Leaving the link open in case this mysterious figure wished to communicate telepathically.

Looking back to Kyuji he smiled that shark-like grin "It appears we may yet have another player in the game..." he would say in that devilish tone things were truly getting interesting. How he loved Sunagakure he'd yet to suffer a single day of boredom since he'd arrived. Those clawed fingers were slowly cracked one by one waiting for Kuro and possibly even this newcomer. How he hoped the shinobi would join them, he couldn't explained why he was so intrigued by this being. There was something incredibly off about him...and Akkuma loved it. Yet another oddity that Suna had been keeping from him. What else would they reveal? He had to press onward to find them, every monster that existed in this realm.

Akkuma listened to Kyuji's words making mental notes of those mentioned. It wouldn't take him long to find those that had been mentioned. He would approach them in his own unique way as always. Though the demon laughed as if he'd been told the funniest joke, all when Kyuji said he was fine with the demon training them under one condition. His laugh was cold and full of malice as he took a step towards his cousin. "Mark me cousin and listen well for I will not repeat myself. Riyota, Suru & Kagari will be trained by me that I can promise you. I've informed you of their training only as a courtesy. Any conditionals you place upon me is to ease your guilt about what is to come and you would be foolish to think I'd abide by your 'conditionals'. I won't warn you again...don't make the mistake of sticking your nose into my affairs." finally he would come close to his cousin so they were face to face. "I'd hate to have to send you a message..." the words were spoken so seriously and calm that he didn't doubt Kyuji would feel real terror at those words. His right hand crackled with Dark Sage energies one touch could forever destroy ones chakra system. With a laugh he turned around beginning to walk up the steps once more. "You may train Suru with your potential candidates, I'll begin looking into them my own way. Who knows maybe they will be able to be apart of his personal guard when he is Daimyo." he'd say in that warm tone of his all signs of malice lost. No doubt it would take awhile for his cousin to get used to the demon, but at least he had a little more restraint since the blood rite. Otherwise like many others the mednin would have already been sealed, being forced to earn the removal of the malevolent seal. But that was not him now, this Akkuma was a different kind of monster.

'I do hope that Kyuji realises I will highly scrutinise anyone associating with our little Daimyo.' he thought to himself after all it was the type of man he was. Though any member of Suru's guard would be highly scrutinised by Akkuma and tested thoroughly. It seemed he had things to discuss with Kyuji while Kuro and the being had a discussion of their own. Only time would tell if the discussion would turn violent but something made the demon think they might gain a new ally in their efforts.

Demonic Mindlink {Approved in link provided above}
CRPJ's Effect: Allows Akkuma and up to X-amount of people to communicate via telepathy.
Example RP of how it will be used: Akkuma could feel the meeting heading down a bad road and decided to inform the others of their next actions "Alright be prepared watch the guards I'll get the old man." thought the demon he heard his teams acknowledgements and their usual rowdy thoughts of what they'd do should that happen. Chuckling he smiled a wide devilish grin as the first guard reached for his katana "Now!" thought the sage and his team disabled the two guards before they could even get a strike off. While Akkuma moved with blinding speed towards the old man coming to a stop in front of him. "Now that was silly wasn't it..." he said with a confident grin upon his face.
Reason why it cannot be used in battle: It would be impossible to maintain that kind of link in the heat of battle the chakra control required to accomplish such a feat is impossible to acquire.

{Bit where Akkuma speaks to Mikaboshi is Via Demonic Mindlink}

There was only a few mere awkward moments of silence between the two shinobi after the descendant of Byakko would give his "speech" to the towering, demonic, evil sage known as Akkuma. During those moments, the godly figure of the two watched his demonic counterpart concentration quite in-depth for something, possibly talking to himself or trying to listen to the mysterious figure and Kyuji's brother speaking. In either case, the mere moments felt like an eternity until the demon turned back to Kyuji and smiled at him with that shark-like grin that Kyuji had become accustomed to seeing quite often and voicing his thoughts on the new variable in the game. Indeed, it was quite interesting to have another figure appear this late at night in his home and want to speak to his brother of all people. Did these people have no common sense to leave mere human beings asleep late in the night or were they just that lustful that they wanted to play with a god and his demon brother? Either way, this night was getting quite interesting and Kyuji was wondering by this point why his lady had not decided to make an appearance as well and see what was going on. It wasn't overly concerning that she stayed back since she was carrying their child, but still she was a curious little feline woman and she usually liked to have her nose everywhere in the Dojo.

Anyways, the medic didn't have much time to think as when Akkuma wanted to talk he would talk and go into a long-winded speech in response to Kyuji's. At least one thing was in common with these two and that was they liked to give boring, long lectures that a normal shinobi would drown out or fall asleep to. However, these two honestly were perfect for each other as they had a sarcastic, demanding and poking demeanor to each other. They had agreed to share the Suru-boy in his training, but the demon was trying to direct orders which was annoying the medic in the room quite as he never needed to harm someone but he had the strength and willpower to do so if need be and he was slowly wanting to engage this demon in a true fight between the saints and sinners. But, the time wasn't right and they would learn much about each other in the future when they actually were working together hopefully to assist Surutameni and Kuro. For now, they needed to play nice and not break each other's toys until the mission was complete.

Looking the demon in his eyes with a devilish smile of his own on his face, he said confidently to him: "When this mission is complete and Surutameni is put into power, you and I are going to have a duel to truly engage one another. But for now, let's talk business as we don't have time to waste. I remember you saying you were a former ANBU of the Hidden Mist Village before it became a frozen wasteland and thus you have ANBU knowledge. I am a former medic of the Hidden Stone Village and current medic of the Hidden Sand as you can tell. I propose we make a deal to better our chances when we are fighting to get Suru into power. That deal is simple, I will teach you medical jutsu to help you aid yourself and any squadron you lead into battle. In return, you teach me some ANBU tactics to better myself and my squadron if I have one. We don't know if our plan can be completely followed so we should have some new knowledge instilled on us through a deal. What do you say?"

[OOC: Making a deal with the Devil himself it seems. What do you say, Akkuma?]

[col]Mikaboshi listened to what Kuro had to say but only distantly. Kuro inferred correctly that socialization had not been what Mikaboshi had on his mind. It never was with him, really. But the original point in his coming to the Toraono Dojo this late at night had been sidelined entirely by what he'd overheard from the hallway. Talks of war and of kidnappings. Political drama of the ripest sort -- the kind of talk that usually was punctuated with the death of a royal or two.

And that was far more interesting than what he'd originally had in mind.

Mikaboshi had declared war against Sousuke. Not in a way that the Kazekage would have been solidly able to pin it on him but thanks to his actions in the residential district of Sand's budding surface colony the war was definitely engaged. Truthfully however in Mikaboshi's heart this war had not only just started nor had it been started by him. Sousuke had brought this upon himself when he'd chosen to abuse their pact and pilfer what did not belong to him. The former ancient lord had sworn to serve at Sousuke's command but had never agreed to allow what energy of his that remained within the Black Blade to be subsumed by his human master. In the end Sousuke had done what all humans did and overstepped his bounds, wounding Mikaboshi in ways that Sousuke in his limited and very human perspective could never understand. To that end, Mikaboshi intended to bring chaos to the house of Takahashi and to Sunagakure by any means necessary. His first step on that path had been to remind the populace of Sand that they were not safe. In the wake of the Cabal attacks his little bout of arson served as a grim reminder to the people of Sunagakure that things were not better than before and there still existed threats that wanted to hurt them. He punctured the dream of their safe haven in one swift, fiery stroke. The next step had been to remove his support network. Shiori was already an accomplice of his. The Sunahoshi that Mikaboshi had heard so much about was missing. The last remaining and toughest to crack in his inner circle was Toraono Kuro.

The dark sennin had expected to come to the Toraono Dojo and find a way to provoke Kuro into attacking him. It wouldn't have been terribly hard. Kuro valued many things beyond his own personal power and health -- namely that of his family and his family's family. It wouldn't take much more than a threat against them to convince the Demonbeast to raise a hand against him and in the same way he'd eliminated his predecessor as ANBU Sennin he would take Kuro out of the picture and claim self-defense. After all, the Mikaboshi that Sousuke knew could not lie. By now Sousuke would almost certainly have deduced Mikaboshi's freedom but even given that he would lack sufficient evidence that Mikaboshi was actively acting against him and Sousuke was nothing if not a linearly minded man. He would go where the evidence led him.

Everything was different now though. It seemed as if Kuro were planning a war with another group from the surface world of humanity, the capital of the Wind Country called Sora. The plundered memories of the man that Mikaboshi had possessed filled the mind's eye of the ancient lord as he called for them. Such a war would be costly for both Sora and Sunagakure. Sora was a powerful city both militarily and economically, second only to Sunagakure in the first respect and to Soon's Haven in the second respect. The Wind Daimyo had connections and agents everywhere meaning that a drawn out conflict with Sunagakure would be extremely risky. Even if Sand managed to assassinate the Daimyo they would only bring down upon them the wrath of the various merchant houses and clans before those very same houses descended back into the inter-house warfare they had been engaged in prior to the Daimyo coming to power and bringing them to heel.

That outcome was perfect. Mikaboshi could not have planned it better himself. The chaos that the war would bring down on Sunagakure would be the perfect cover for him to move about without the watchful eye of a suspicious Sunagakure. It seemed like the worst thing that Mikaboshi could do involving Kuro was... to encourage him. Pledge his support, let the Toraono Clan know that it would have the backing of Mikaboshi in it's darkest hour should they require it.

After all.

Mikaboshi could not lie.

"Necessary is a matter of perspective, Lord Toraono." Remarked Mikaboshi as he glided past Kuro, a smirk present in the tone of his voice. The other sennin seemed as if he were attempting to keep Mikaboshi from engaging with the other two by bringing the conversation into the hallway but the director of the ANBU was too interested in the dark deeds being planned within the great hall to be dissuaded from joining the conversation. "I am the director of the ANBU branch in Sunagakure. You may call me Lord Mikaboshi."

Unlike the other three in the room, Mikaboshi was not possessed of demon chakra. He was a part of the natural world and up until recently had been a being utterly comprised of Order. Even at his most deceptive, Mikaboshi was a creature that abided the natural order of the world and of himself for he was a part of it and it was a part of him. But still from Mikaboshi's being fell a deathly chill like that of a moonless night upon the desert dunes. The others present would likely be unaffected by the frigidity of Mikaboshi's presence but for those who were unaccustomed to such things even standing in his presence could be unbearably cold. He listened quietly as the two other members of Kuro's midnight council debated back and forth presumably about students they were teaching.

Riyota. Suru. Kagari. How fascinating.

Seeing as how his brother in law was very active in recruiting and seeking power Mikaboshi's presence drew him like a magnet. It was a very tough line to follow, Sousuke feared Mikaboshi unleashed and unchained with good reason. He was an Ancient Lord whom could feed off the souls of man. This Kuro knew well, what Sousuke did not understand is that ANYBODY could feast upon souls for strength, that reason alone was not a strong enough reason to chain the Deep Court Lord. The war with the Ancients was centuries ago, the records remaining damaged and many prisoners and monsters from that era lie buried beneath Sunagakure. If Mikaboshi truly wanted to destroy man he need merely unleash them and watch the havok from the very shadows. With a resigned sigh as Akkuma made his presence felt Kuro led Mikaboshi back into the foyer to make sure they both met the Ancient somehow housed in LIVING flesh.

"Gentlemen... forgive my impertinence at trying to keep a valued comrade out of this affair. Allow me to present Lord Mikaboshi, Anbu Sennin and Lord of Shadows, you may have heard other legends about him but believe me they don't compare to the truth. With this matter out of the way, I present to you Mikaboshi-sama... Lord Miroku Akkuma formerly of Mist and betrothed of my eldest sister Seika. Secondly, I present Chief Byakko Surgeon Byakko Kyuji formerly Akujin of Stone. As my extended family they are here to help me plan out the recompensation of Kanly. Kanly being the edict of royal disputes and the rules governing righteous assassination and retribution. I am head of House Toraono and esteemed Lord of the Toraono Clan and the 4 houses it encompasses. Because of the Cabal's abuse of my clan's hospitality, clandestine efforts against Sunagakure, murder of our citizens and many of my kin I am invoking a Clan dispute between my House and the backers of the Cabal. I am personally leading the effort of Kanly against the master of Soragakure, the Wind Daimyo and his son's lives are forfeit for all the lives lost here in their pre-emptive terrorist assault. Unlike the Cabal, none of their citizens or infrastructure will be involved. Whatever military action they bring forth as is their right of protection however is forfeit. The title and lead of Wind Country will be passed to his remaining heir whom will not be assailed or harmed... his daughter, however by the edicts of Kanly his entire male lineage is forfeit. No businesses will be captured, no unnecessary bloodletting, no causing fear and pain to the general population. If they want to strike at a country we will teach them in the purest, most ancient and honored rites of vengeance, exactly how such an act is to be perpetrated. This measure of reprisal is the very rite of my household, which is why the Toraono Dojo acts as the virtual face of Sunagakure for visitors and other villages to gauge their strength against us while being the tip of the iceberg as it were to prevent all others from measuring Suna's true potential which at the moment is dreadfully low. I won't ask you to lend your hand in this as I am certain you have far more IMPORTANT things to do. I would however speak to you in private about the necessary changes you have completed when you are able, Lord Mikaboshi."

Kuro introduced his inner circle of conspirators with normal fanfare and necessity. What he did not say was that he wanted to involve Mikaboshi, his aid would be appreciated yes that was true but some measure of determent other than Kuro's parents needed to stay in place when Kuro went to lead his personal vendetta.

'Interesting...' he thought to himself as the being ignored Kuro's attempt to keep him out in the hallway. Akkuma couldn't help but agree with his words on necessity to Kuro, the man announced himself as Lord Mikaboshi and Head of the Anbu Branch. The demon sages weapon-like tail flicked with excitement 'It seems that things are taking an exciting turn.' he thought with a devilish grin. Kyuji seemed intent on pushing on with his talk of their plans and even saying he'd wish to train Akkuma, in turn receiving Anbu training from the Ex-Anbu. "Deal." he would say walking forward placing his hand on Kyuji's shoulder, his way of apologising for being abrupt. Akkuma listened to Kuro apologising for his attempt to keep such an interesting being away from them. Kuro went through introductions the demon sages wolf-like ears twitched with annoyance at the simple introduction he had received, it seemed he would need training to control these involuntary movements of his new ears. That crimson eye and its diamond-like counterpart never left the Shadow as he bowed to the newcomer.

Those razor sharp teeth were revealed in a shark-like grin as he heard Kuro say he would not ask him to lend a hand in this affair. Chaos itself could be felt around them pulsating from Akkuma the Dark Sage was a conduit for the energies into this world. Where he walked chaos followed, which he was perfectly fine with. Too much order in the world and there would be nothing of interest. "My brother here may not wish to involve you in our affairs, I however will do so with much enthusiasm. There are a few things I have in motion and I believe you could help speed them up." he said in that devilish tone of his, no doubt his brother would be giving him a 'what are you doing look'. Taking another step toward the Head of Sunagakures Shadows, he was now quite close to the being.

His eyes flicked to Kuro quickly "Do not underestimate Sunagakure Brother...I have found much potential within this village. Give me a little more time and I assure you this village will be flourishing with skilled shinobi." by the tone of his voice he wasn't joking, if they knew him it was obvious he could do such a thing. Those eyes of his went back to Mikaboshi "So tell me what you want Lord Mikaboshi...please don't insult me by saying nothing, no one does something in this world without expecting something. Even if they don't consciously realise they want something. Now if you honestly say that you don't want something that means one thing...we're already doing something you want done." he would say coming to his conclusion before giving that shark-like grin once more raising his hands either side 'in a correct me if I'm wrong' manner. The madness of chaos often provided the demon a keen insight into things, throw in his Anbu training and that demonic sixth sense. You got one highly intuitive and incredibly perceptive shinobi. Though he had been wrong before if he was Mikaboshi need only say so. That weapon-like tail flicked behind him with anticipation, now that he was close the Shadow would be able to see multiple curse seals upon the demon. Including over runic glyphs of Akkuma's own design, for there were few on this world who had such a mastery over jutsu as he did.

Awaiting a response from his soon-to-be cousin, the descendant of Byakko would watch as the mysterious figure that his brother was trying to lure out of the room had decided he wanted to stay in the room and keep the Toraono Clansmen company for this late night. A simple shrug of the shoulders would be shown from the golden eyed feline-man as the figure returned before Akkuma decided to come over agreeing to his deal and placing a hand on the shorter clansman's shoulder. This mysterious figure would introduce himself as Mikaboshi and the head of the ANBU branch of the village which would be reinforced by his brother when he introduced Akkuma and Kyuji to the man. At this point, a bow or introduction of his own would be deemed respectful, but Akkuma and Kuro had decided to take the time that they could and provide their own words directed at the new figure.

Realistically, Kuro was still being himself more or less with Mikaboshi present with them now. But, Akkuma apparently was already cooking up some new deal or treachery and it appeared that Mikaboshi was going to be involved in it. A normal individual would've stopped Akkuma and gave him a stern talking to about talking to strangers and getting too friendly earlier on in a relationship, but Kyuji was interested in what this conversation would escalate to if he stayed back. If anyone cared to look at the feline-man, they would see that his arms were crossed as he stood there with a neutral demeanor apparent on his face. This night was definitely going to get interesting in some way, but hopefully there was no blood being spilled today. No, none of them needed to stain their clothes and hurt each other with their weapons. Tonight was just for talking and getting more acquainted with one another.

Yet, Kyuji was somewhat itching for a little fight. Maybe it was the demon energy radiating from his clansmen or maybe he was actually evolving from that poor, religious pacifist that everyone was accustomed to into his true form. Insanity had not quite set in yet, but he was on the brink of losing his marbles with everything that he had been dealing with since joining the village from his family to his students to his profession. What was happening to this man?

[col]Mikaboshi listened quietly as Kuro gave him a run down of their plan and the situation. They were planning a full on revenge assassination of the Wind Daimyo for his involvement with the Cabal attacks. Not necessarily a war as Mikaboshi had planned but rather an attack on the bloodline of the Wind Daimyo in particular. Not quite the war that Mikaboshi had hoped for but it could easily become that if given the right provocation given the status of the political situation in Wind Country. The ANBU director frowned deeply as Akkuma moved close to him. On a good day Mikaboshi was not over fond of demons to begin with. He found them even more loathsome than humans, if that were possible, if only because they were begins of Chaos and he a begin of Order. Where ancients existed within the bounds of their natural order and were keepers of their domain, demons existed only to undo the works of others and some were quite good at what they did.

Sadly for his original intent for coming into the room, it seemed as if this one was not among that number of professionals. Akkuma sidled up to Mikaboshi without knowing or understanding who or what he was and blithely attempted to tempt Mikaboshi into bearing his desires as if the foreign fool had the power to instantly grant them. It was a game that Mikaboshi knew well, one that he'd played with Sousuke to secure his release from the Black Blade several years ago and one he'd used on numerous occasions to secure his power in Sunagakure. Rather that give any sort of time for a relationship of trust to form, Akkuma staggered into the offer like a drunk ox trying to drink from a water basin and for that Mikaboshi was immediately disappointed. This was a man that thought he was going to bring down the Wind Country? Preposterous.

"Or perhaps I've simply stopped in to find out what sort of mischief my colleague is breeding in this dojo of his before I make my report. The fact that I am here tells you nothing about my motives." Observed Mikaboshi, highlighting the obvious hole in Akkuma's logic as his head rolled to the side to look upon Akkuma with boredom in his eyes. The foreigner simply assumed that Mikaboshi was there to help them when in truth he was there to help himself. He'd originally planned to encourage them to go about their business but if they proved incompetent they might simply serve only to put the nation of Wind into a state of high alert and make things even more difficult for him. "As I am nothing if not magnanimous, I will grant you a single observation for your budding scheme. It would serve you well to reflect on why this man above all others is so feared that the entirety of Wind Country bows at his feet. If you think that you will simply walk into his domain and replace him, you are mistaken."

Mikaboshi did not fear the Wind Daimyo as many of the nobles in Wind Country did but neither did he underestimate the power of the man. This was an individual that had not only organized the attack on Sunagakure by setting the Cabal upon them... but had possessed knowledge enough of the Old World to send with them a mystic capable of sealing Mikaboshi in a spirit trap. Even for a limited time such a feat had been impressive on the part of the exorcist and showed a reasonable level of knowledge and cunning enough to use that knowledge. If he were truly behind the Cabal attacks then the Wind Daimyo was not a man to be taken lightly.

"My curiosity is satiated for now. Feel free to call upon me when you've thought it through a bit better." Mikaboshi sighed, all playfulness gone from his voice and replaced with exasperated disappointment. Turning his eyes to Kuro, Mikaboshi would incline his brow slightly to signal that he would agree to the Toraono Sennin's request. "As for your request to speak in private, I will grant it now. Lead the way Lord Toraono."

OOC: Carry on gentlemen, Mikaboshi and I will continue our conversation at another pace so feel free to post talking amongst yourselves without regard to us as we will keep our own posting order. Nice try Akkuma but Mikaboshi is not an easy pokemon to catch.

"Kindred, I shall return shortly, this meeting will take only the amount of time Lord Mikaboshi requires and please refrain from gestures of disdain that come naturally to us as mortal born beings, in the presence of an Ancient Lord that can be taken as both a lack of respect and a challenge of old. Excuse us for a while."</COLOR><i></i>
Kuro nodded to Mikaboshi before resting his hand on Akkuma's left shoulder and Kyuji's left shoulder in turn t signal they should wait here and indeed think upon their roles as it was.
Kuro then placed his left hand behind his back and with his open right palm up gestured to Mikaboshi to please follow him to another chamber. It was common hand speak among those of the desert but reserved for those of high station, high birth, or in Mikaboshi's case high lords. It beckoned to an older time when Homura called forth demons and demonbeasts to fight in his gladiatorial pit in this very dojo that was once a colliseum. As Akkuma Kuro led Mikaboshi to a darkened chamber stocked with elemental wines he pulled one of his oldest wine selections out from beneath a hidden panel and offered the bottle of shadow wine to Mikaboshi. It was from elder times from a place near Mikaboshi's own deep court. A forgotten vineyard of shadow and chakra that grew lunar grapes. One of many caches of Ancient lore and holdings that Kuro personally hid from all even many of his own kin lest they inadvertently plunder and destroy the preserved history of these hidden grotto's. Kuro knew from their limited contact and his stance on the matter that Mikaboshi had been offended by his future brother in law's antics but they were natural for Akkuma and Kuro could forgive him for being himself. Mikaboshi likely would not... Sensing that Mikaboshi was truly and wholly alive and no longer in his reforged Ancient body Kuro offered him something he believed a Lord of the Deep Court would have savored long ago. The mannerisms of those of the deep court were all but forgotten but manners were always key when dealing with Kings, Lords, and ladies which Kuro had been doing all his life.

<COLOR color="indigo">"I hope this is to your liking Lord Mikaboshi, I cannot date the vintage since the shadowglass this bottle was made from is too precious to sample to determine its age but I do believe in your CURRENT state you will be able to enjoy it. Also the bottle is yours as you are still the one and only Lord of the Deep Court. I had planned to gift this bottle to you after the injuries you received from Djinn and the reborn state that our brief works of sorcery had allowed you to attain. So imagine my delight and underlying concern when you finally visit me once more alive in a human manner. Might I inquire what brought on this new condition or state of existence?"

Akkuma merely smiled that shark-like grin if that was how the Shadow-Master wanted to play then that's how it would be. "I'm not fool enough to underestimate anyone..." he'd say calmly his tail flicking with excitement, in truth he trusted no one. Unless they possessed one of his binding seals, then he knew they couldn't break any contracts made. At Kuro's words he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, if it weren't for the powers of law that currently ebbed through his core. The Dark Sage would have had many things to say about the sunans words. Though he was extremely happy for one thing had become solidified in his mind, not only did they doubt his capabilities but they seemed to underestimate him on a whole. Perhaps he would have to make them realise how foolish a thing to do that was, then again it was often better to have those closest to you not knowing your true capabilities.

Standing there he would give a slight nod to them both as they left, The demons will reached out and wrapped itself around Kyuji, an experience few mortals underwent with ease. Humans usually felt great unease with the technique, after all the knowledge a demon could enter ones mind brought few comfort. 'I must tell you there are a few allies I have kept to myself, a safety net incase there are those that lack the conviction to follow through with our plan. Should there be an unforeseen betrayal you will be most thankful I have done this.' his thoughts would echo within Kyuji's mind via his demonic mindlink technique.

Walking back the demon grabbed the Summoning Scroll that had been left on the ground earlier from their ritual. Placing the scroll on his belt he would smile 'Perhaps I will need this after all.' he thought to himself feeling more comfortable now he had the scroll in his possession once more. The Dark Sage built up Senjutsu energy as flaming black kanji appeared on his fingertips. Looking back to Kyuji he would smile that shark-like grin, with more focus the kanji moved to appear over the one fingertip spiralling there almost hypnotically.

Lifting his finger up he opened his mouth and scribed the seal on the roof of his mouth, he was left with the taste of blood in his mouth. Scribed there now was a Hell Seal, one more seal in a hidden spot. It never hurt to keep people questioning 'Don't tell a soul about that Kyuji. Now let's continue planning I don't want anymore unexpected guests hearing our planning. Tell me what do you think of Kuro's strategy? I think he may have forgotten a few crucial factors, for example the criminal population involved. They will play a great role in either aiding or hindering us in our attempts. It all depends on who they think will benefit them...I think we should both create an organisation each to control and maintain this. What do you think?' the words would echo within Kyuji's Mind, leaving the connection open he would take a drink awaiting his cousins response. His men were prepared and they new the part they were going to play but he still didn't understand how these Sunans could be so content. Already the demon was creating a list of the best candidates for recon and which targets they would be given. No doubt he would have to send an Agent to ensure any aftermath was handled.

Things were seeming to pick up as the early morning hours continued to creep away. The Ancient known as Mikaboshi and Akkuma had a "delightful" conversation amongst themselves before Kuro and Mikaboshi had gone into another area of the Dojo leaving the slowly-going insane descendant of Byakko and the demon of Hell alone. This is when the exciting times began between the cousins as his cousin had created a mind link between them and was talking to him probably through a jutsu though he wasn't entirely sure. Either way, he was hearing Akkuma loud and clear as the demon returned to his scroll before inscribing a seal onto his tongue. The scene to a normal human being would have creeped anyone else out, but Kyuji had done and seen some crazy shit since his birth so this was truly just minor. He smirked at the demon in front of him as the devil himself continued to talk to him questioning brother Kuro and his plans which was understandable since Kuro had left some things open to interpretation. Once the nice demon of the Mist was finished talking, he took a drink and awaited for Kyuji.

This was when Kyuji's neck would crack as he sat down on the floor and closed his eyes trying to conjure up the words that needed to be expressed between the two. This was their time to get to know one another before Kuro returned and made Kyuji the odd man out once again since he wasn't a demon being. His eyes would reopen moments later as he smiled at Akkuma as they began to talk through the Mind Link Technique. "Well, I think it would be wise to exchange our branch-specific knowledge between one another through a blood oath where if we betray one another then the knowledge is forgotten forever before we do anything. If we are going to go through this plan, we need to both be able to aid our squads with stealth and medical aid. I am sure there is something you can do like you and Kuro did that will make a contract between us."

He would then arise from where he was sitting and begin to walk over to Akkuma as he continued: "I am glad that you have kept allies from us, but you should be telling us about them so Kuro or I don't take them as enemies. I wouldn't want to hurt an ally of yours if they are willing and able to help us accomplish our goal. As for your curse seal, that is your thing, Lucifer. I am not telling a soul as I am sure you would pummel me if you found out, just remember to use your hidden seals for good being for our team and not evil. As for Kuro, I agree that he is keeping some factors out of the equation like you just said about the criminal population that I am sure you are friends with. We could use more shinobi on our side during the war, but they will want something in return so I hope you and I can satisfy their wants and needs haha."

They were now standing right in front of one another with Kyuji's hand extended to Akkuma as he finished his thoughts: "I am fine with creating an organization or a unit at least. But, I want the students that I am giving an exam to next week to stick with me through it all...I am going to tell them that it is a mission from Kuro so the village and their families don't question me. It technically is a mission for Suna if you ask Kuro. But back to your organization, explain to me how you think we are going to do this since I need to know where you are going with this? Also, are you game for exchanging our branch secrets now while we have a moment? I am sure it won't take either of us too long to learn the other's arts."

His eyes and smile showed it all, he was being lustful and he wanted knowledge. There was so much that these two could teach one another and it was better to work together than against one another where a little slip-up could cost someone a life!

He would look at Akkuma waiting an answer from the man. Sadly, the man just stood there like he was frozen in time with that devilish grin on his face the whole time. Kyuji believed the conversation between them was over and he nodded to Akkuma telling him through the mind link that he was retiring to his room because he was tired and needed to get some sleep. He also told the man that when he was ready to talk more about the plans and to exchange shinobi knowledge that he would be ready. But for now, he bid him ado and left the stage, exit right back to his bedroom to cuddle up with his wife and go back to sleep. The two lovebirds would talk about what occurred at a later date when they weren't both so tired with work and the baby on the way.

[col]Mikaboshi took the bottle from Kuro and examined it for a moment before letting it roll off of his fingers and fall into the air before disappearing into what could only have been a pocket of gloom as the bottle was swallowed in it's entirety as if it had never been present to begin with. It was a talent that he'd discovered after taking over the body of Sunahoshi Katsuo -- the young man had possessed the ability to influence the universe around him with his willpower and by extent create small pockets of space where he could store physical items to be withdrawn at his whim or desire. It was a fascinating trait and one that Mikaboshi suspected was connected to the "spark of Primus" as Katsuo referred to it. He had been unaware that Primus had left any of himself to his successors but from the memories of the Sunahoshi heir that he'd dissected thus far it was a secret that none but perhaps the royal family itself had known about. Katsuo had not known his father so it was possible that indeed only the first generation of Sunahoshi had known about the spark. It was something that was still on Mikaboshi's "to do" list of research once he found himself a little less preoccupied with revenge.

"Alcohol is a human vice, as I'm sure you're aware." Mikaboshi responded, his tone even as he considered the bottle of wine given to him. "But I accept the gesture none the less. I am certain I will find a use for it."

Kuro moved on to asking about what circumstances brought Mikaboshi to changing his "state of existence". It was to Kuro's credit that he noticed so quickly something that others had not but speaking words of praise was not something that Mikaboshi was in habit of doing.

"Necessity. Desperation." Things Mikaboshi did not find himself proud to admit. He did not regret the actions he'd taken, such was the way of fools and weaklings, but improvisation was never a favorite tactic of his. "The Cabal exposed a weakness in my capabilities. I have corrected it."

Kuro nodded to Mikaboshi as his chakra sense and his memories of what Mikaboshi had been told him something far more was amiss but nothing he could call Mikaboshi out upon. "As one I consider to be the most direct you have been very misdirecting but I am certain you have your reasons. I once tried to grant you a form capable of sustaining the power you wield but it seems you have found something much greater instead. I won't inquire as to how just know that if you need help I am at your service. I hope that I can rely on you when my family is in need and I am not available. I am also in the process of attaining a place of safety for all the lesser members of strength in the village and if possible I would also like to show you some areas I found that might contain artifacts of the Ancients. I have sealed them off from further intrusions. Perhaps we can take a look at these areas beneath the dojo when you have time?"

Akkuma listened intently to the thoughts his co-conspirator sent his he immediately began designing the seal in his mind. Unfortunately he got distracted and Kyuji departed, with a sigh the demon resolved himself to discussing it further when he sealed his kin. Feeling that this was perhaps not his night he departed at a later date he would seek out those who were here tonight. Much planning was in place and he unfortunately needed to be else where. 'Perhaps another night then I feel this is not to be my night, nonetheless soon enough I'll approach them. There is some Intel I need to gather...' he thought to himself, turning he disappeared down the halls and out into the desert night. The Dark Sage didn't have enough in place to give the Shadow Kage to get his backing but he intended to fix that. He'd approach them once more when they saw the urgency in what he offered, the demon was not known for his patience. Moving ahead would surely bring everyone to the table and force the hands of those involved.[/color]
