To snake or not to snake (the making of a snake disciple)(Momo)

It's been a while since their little spar and Yuna thinks the guitarist could go far. But if she wants to roll with Yuna and the Kazekage to take down a world criminal like Akkuma, the girl will need some serious upgrades to the way she fights. The ANBU is willing to impart some great advice and a chance at seizing greater power to make Momo a formidable force. Writing down a note and enhancing the note with natural energy. The anbu would know the girl's chakra so she had the natural energy surrounding the letter seek her out.

While she waited for her letter to flow in the wind to find the intended person, Yuna stood out in the middle of the vast desert. Forming handseals, the anbu placed her palm on the ground and summoned her snake contract, Jormangandr. The desert would now be instantly occupied by a thirty-foot gargantuan snake that has blue skin and horns all over his body.

"Why am I here? What do you have planned?" The snake would ask her.

Yuna let her natural chakra into the ground to write out,

The snake would read the words on the ground and let out a huff. "If I must play in your party tricks."

Momo fluttered her eyes at the sight of floating note sailing the wind. It would make its way toward her before crashing between her guitar stings, “A love note? From a secret admirer?” With glee, Momo would snatch the note from her guitar to read its contents. To her dismay, it was not a love letter. In fact, it was more of a summons. The hand writing was quite familiar. “Silent???” Last time they met, Momo offered to help her take down a big wig stirring trouble in these parts. Momo wondered if she would be taking her up on the offer. In fact, Momo had acquired some new skills sense then. “Enhance my combat capabilities?” Momo began to laugh like a supervillain causing gawking eyes to hawk more. As always, Momo stood out from the natives. She wore her iconic Big red skull hat, bright crimson attire, black fingerless punk gloves, and thigh high stilettos. As always, she slung her surf green Duesenberg Starplayer II electric guitar for the ride. With a smirk, she would read the letter once more but this time would end with a frown. “Diamond Ocean? Where the hell is that?”

The Diamond Ocean was a could be a perilous place. It was hot, harbored dangerous creatures, and bandits. One would need to keep their head on a swivel if they intended to keep it. Not Momo however. Silent would likely see her dawning long before her actual arrival. There was no way the fashionable superstar shinobi would be traveling on foot through a place like this. The sand was likely to damage her designer stilettos and she wasn’t about to get sand all in between areas. No, she traveled by deluxe caravan. Normally, this particular company wouldn’t dare travel through these parts. However, Momo was very persuasive. That is, a very wealthy diplomat was a fan of her music and paid for everything. Everything included jounin security detail, a luxury caravan with an overhead covering to block the harsh sun, shirtless servants who catered fruits and drinks, cool fabrics and soft flooring, massage therapy, fingernail painting, and more. Two large elephants pulled the mini resort toward its destination. When they arrived, Momo was being fanned by two large shirtless men with chiseled jaws and leopard print lion cloths. “Ahoy! Silent,” Momo would wave from the caravan as it came to a halt. It was then that she noticed the giant snake and the security team on edge. The elephants started panicking as the stewards tried to calm them. “It’s cool everyone! This is silent, she’s cool. Everyone Silent, Silent, everyone and staff! Yo baby, how ya been, who’s your friend?! You know, the menacing looking, 50 foot python.”

"You know that little red speck in this desert?" The snake would ask Yuna, but before she could write down an answer in the ground, the snake turned to Momo. "How about you let me have one of those elephants. I'm sure they won't mind. Just a nibble." Jormungandr would soon feel a crushing presence, coming from none other than Yuna as water swirled around her, towering above even the thirty-foot snake. He would huff in protest and then say, "I was only kidding. You humans need to learn to take a joke."

Yuna would shake her head, then waved her hand over the ground before Momo, her natural energies shifting the sands to make words.

As for why I called you here, I want to make you a snake sage disciple. As you probably know having an ability such as the sage mode grants you access to powers that are limited to contract creatures. Usually you would need to summon such a contract and also have made the contract to be able to go into sage mode, but to become a disciple, you can use powers of contracts you don't even have. But I think a demonstration is in order.

The anbu would draw in natural energies and she activated her sage mode, youkai. A glowing orange horn hovered over the right side of the masked woman's face, with a menacing looking, but ironically calming aura hung about her, one would even see with the naked eye the orange glow that emanated throughout her body. Releasing the natural energies and drawing them back again, this time, Yuna activated her sage mode again, this time Snake sage. The lower half of her body turned into a slithery snake's tail, whilst Momo would see the skin turn into azure blue shining scales. Despite this transformation, it wouldn't be in the least bit grotesque as the natural energies wouldn't clash with her own chakra. Now if it didn't there'd be a problem.

Despite this transformation, the mask was still snugly fit upon the snake archsage's face, even no doubt the facial features would have changed too.

My attention was stolen by the sand swirling at my blood red designer Jimmy Choo - Giome Over-The-Knee Stretch-Knit Platform Boots. The unnaturalness of chakra infused sand was as obvious as false red sculptural heeled Alexander McQueens. Honestly, some people just lack respect for the arts. Oh dearly, was this country terrible for those with style. It didn’t take a detective to see why the natives dressed like wondering hobos. Dessert be damned, there was no excuse for forsaking one’s self image by forfeiture of vanity and fashion. However, the twirling motion of the sand did put a smile on my face. Mostly because there were letters forming in the sand. It had to be Silent’s doing. Although tacky, she understood and appreciated the importance of theatrics. Under my tutelage, she could, would make quite the star. We simply needed to make a few adjustments to her image. The mask would have to go, those clothes, do something with that hair, and basically everything else. I would wave off my escorts as requested by the sand message, “See you later boys! Unless you’re looking to be a bite sized hors d'oeuvre for monstro here. And we are still on for that six o’clock! Have that oil hot and ready!” My attention fell back to Silent. Behold, a terrifying sight. Well more than usual. Never have I encountered or associated with anyone who willfully left their dwelling dressed like they were a week-four castaway who just discovered fire. But now, you was pumped full of sage power and her physical appearance was damned. Sure she was an A cup, slender, with split ends but she wasn’t a mutant with a reptile bottom. However, the orange chakra horns weren’t so bad. Perhaps I could be into it, I’ll try anything once. Still, the sage chakra was so abundant that it was visible. Such a thing would totally clash with this outfit. It started to become a problem when I noticed that the Big Hat began to rumble and growl. This was a response to the natural energy that amassed and radiated from Silent. I quickly smashed the hat down on my head. The chakra guzzling hat wasn’t very found of the natural energy. Perhaps it upsets it’s stomach. If it got too excited, it would get really unpredictable. “Ummm… Silent love, you do realize that your lower half just melded into um? I mean, it’s an improvement from whatever those were that you were wearing… were those cargo? Never mind, not important. Snake Sage Disciple, So you were writing?”

Yuna listened as the girl spoke, it seems to have grabbed her attention, along with the movement of the girl's hat, which seemed to be alive in a sense. A wave of her hand and the words in the sand shifted around.

As stated before, one of a snake contracts abilities or even a snake sage's abilities that is rather potent, is mixing a poison with any type of attack, wether it be a taijutsu, ninjutsu, or even genjutsu. Such thing as simple as a poison is often overlooked in the heat of battle, something that can be turned into a dangerous situation. Following that, one with the powers of the snake contract, if bound, would be able to escape seamlessly and even mask their own movements, making it harder for their targets to track. And finally, the ability to constrict a foe and making them potentially over exert themselves.

Jormungandr huffed. "Most of my attacks are Gen based, mixed in with poison can cause some serious side effects."

The anbu would dispel her sage mode, returning to the normal anbu operative that Momo was used to seeing. Another wave of her hand and the words shifted some more.

If you are willing, I will teach you to become a sage. Even more, a snake sage, you will be able to call upon this power without even owning the snake contract.

A hand would reach out for Momo. If the girl accepts, the training to become a snake sage will begin.

Without my music, more sand twirled and danced. To my dismay, mind you. These were very expensive foot wear. And while some of you readers are wondering or asking to yourself, probably something unintelligible or something snarky like, “Why is she wearing designer anything in this post apocalyptic garbage land?” Just remember, I’m Big Hat Momo savvy! The crimson beauty, the rock n’ roll shinobi of the badlands baby! I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing anything less that top shelf, ass kicking, luxurious and sassy designer. Just because I traverse the land of dust bunnies, doesn’t mean I have to look like one. So eat me. Now then, let’s get back to Silent’s offer, “Are you offering to be the Beast to this beauty? Only if you bite, A cup!” Snake Sage definitely had a nice ring to it. So yes, I reached out my gloved hand with lushly painted nails of blood red. My fingers would feel soft and smooth from the manicure I received just prior to arrival. The boys did a fantastic job smoothing the callouses of my finger tips. I looked my Tiki friend in the eye holes of her freaky little mask as I accepted her offer. I wasn’t going to say no to more power. Power matched my outfit, baby yeah!

A cup? Yuna doesn't know what the rocker girl is talking about. But the girl seemed ready to learn. Once the rocker's hand grasped the anbu's, she would feel a slight warmth surround her before dissipating. The sand swirled around to form more words.

What I just did was grant you some natural energy to be able to correctly harness ability to go into sage mode. For future reference you will need to either start meditating or finding some memory that will give you peace of mind, in order to access sage mode and natural energies.

She turned to Jormungandr, the giant snake would make the duo look like little specks in the desert by comparison. "But what makes a good human sage is if they are willing to learn all they can from their contracts. Not just power, but how they operate. Us snakes, we hunt. We either rely on venom to kill our prey, or crush them by constricting them."

Yuna would gesture to the ground once more,

While snakes are predators, they would usually want to avoid conflict if necessary, using those same ways to hunt, to also defend themselves. There are very few snakes out in the wild that are just the murder hobo type.

The giant snake would nod. "Now If you wanna be the part, awaken the natural energies given to you. Along with what Silent had said, you must also think like a snake."[/spoiler]

[TD]"Yahoooooooo! A cup, that was a loaded hand shake wasn't it? I feel all tingly inside!" A simple hand embrace ended in an intense surge of power. Even if it weren't the intent, I was connected to a chakra guzzling parasite using me as a catalyst. So much natural energy was building and being funneled right through me. A cup may have given me a bit of natural snake energy, but that simply released the flood gates. A simple exchange gave me access to the infinite pool of natural energy and by extension, the Big Hat. Immediately, I whipped out my trusty surf green Duesenberg Starplayer II electric guitar. There was only one way to soothe the beast and simultaneously channel the natural energy flooding me. Hell... if I wasn't going to let the harsh dessert heat turn me into a scaly lizard, I sure in the hell wasn't going to allow a bit of natural energy ruin my perfectly moisturized and well desired skin. "I hope your ready A CUP and Large Lizard! Because here comes the JAMS!" Sliding my fingers up and down the leg of my guitar, they trailed gracefully like that of a slithering tail. The chords were of my own creation and were fueled with that of natural snake chakra. The sand around me began to whoosh, erasing the message A cup left for me as burst of Sage chakra escaped in waves and soon blast. I had to get a hold of the chakra as it was filling within me to quickly thanks to the Big Hat. My music, now enhanced with the power of Sage Chakra boomed the dessert dunes. My guitar started to transform as I continued to perform the solo hit. Its smooth surf green exterior began to peel away in black flame to reveal a devilish purple dragon scaled body. The chords were electric and hissed. The crimson red clothing also seemed to burn away with the burning of the black flames. In it's place, purple scaled attire of that of a rockstar goddess.[/TD]

Yuna was quite surprised by how Momo had handled the surge of natural energy. That, along with the rocker's song made it clear to the Sage that she has come to understand and know a thing or two about snakes. Good. She will be of great use to help the anbu out in the future. Her thoughts shifted back to the letter that the Raikage had sent out to her. Or rather, letters. She thinks it's about time to give the Kazekge a visit with a rundown of things. She just hopes that the Kazekage won't mind the company that she brings.

A hand reached out and the sand shifted one final time.
