Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Branch Ability: Journeyman

1: Willpower
If there was one thing that could be said about a Toraono, then it was that they could sometimes be incredibly stubborn, and Reikiko was often a perfect example of that. Being that despite her personality she was rather strong-willed, the amount of willpower she could call forth often seemed to hint as a rather strong mind lurking beneath that withdrawn attitude she shows on the surface. However, being that she has never been under the effect on a Genjutsu before, perhaps due to her natural willpower or out of sheer luck, it remains questionable how useful this gift will be.

2: Healing Factor
One could easily say that being Wyrm-touched was both a blessing and a curse. Certainly, she had to deal with the scornful or fearful gazes of those who knew about the ancient story of Kousotsu, but she also had the benefit of receiving the succor and protection of the ancient Sandwyrm. For example, one particular incident at the academy shown her just how much this benefit might be. She still remembered it in detail, an accidental stray projectile that instead of hitting the intended target dummy had grazed her hand, and while initially the teacher had told her that it would only take a few days for the cut to heal, the truth was that over the span of a single night the injury had disappeared. While Kousotsu denied any involvement in the matter, it seemed his mere presence had created an unnatural high recovery rate of her health, to the point that something like cuts, bruises or minor burns were healed in a matter of hours rather than days.

3: Elemental Aura
To say that poison is Reikiko's playground is quite a correct statement to make. Not only does she seem to hold the means to create those peculiar insect-like creatures that are related to her abilities, the fact she seems to have a high tolerance toward poisonous substances and an unnatural aptitude for manipulating those very substances, even often creating her own on a whim... it seems that her very aura is surrounded by a venomous essence. Sure, it might be a sweet-scented one, but anyone knows that sweet-looking flowers often lead to deathly man-eating plants! Nevertheless, whether this is a natural affinity for poison, or a gift earned by Kousotsu's presence within her is a question she has yet to find the answer to.

4: Bloody Mess
While this is a secret even Reikiko herself isn't aware of. The girl possesses a slumbering lust for blood, likely a side-effect of Kousotsu's influence on her mind. While normally her personality seems unaffected by this grim desire, the moment she finds herself in the heat of battle and Kousotsu's essence stirs within her, the girl's mind rapidly starts to open up toward that desire to see her enemies scream in agony as she infects them with her poisonous substances, a mere kunai scratch causing enough venom to insert their body that the effect of it drives her victims to only create an even larger bloodbath of their own body in an attempt to remove the poison. Little do the fools know it only provokes the child to play with them even more...

5: Poison Mastery
Poison... most associate it with death, but some like Reikiko consider it a natural part of their lives. For Reikiko those poisonous substances people fear run in her blood, and perhaps it's because of that ancient sandwyrm that she seems to hold little to no fear or hesitation in dealing with them. For one so young she is a surprising expert at how to mix poisons and administer them in the best possible ways. Nevertheless, it might be one of the girl's few strong points, for while she lacks the physical strength to properly use Taijutsu, or the mental aptitude for Genjutsu, the use of Poisons and Poison-element Ninjutsu seems to be a natural thing to the girl.

6: Elementalist
One of the few things Reikiko has an affinity toward seems Ninjutsu and the finer art of manipulating those techniques. While she might lack the ability to create giant walking fire abominations or huge hurricanes, the act of manipulating the properties of a ninjutsu seems to be a natural thing for the girl that she learned pretty quickly during her time as an academy student. However, curiously enough the girl seems to be rather content to limit her focus almost entirely onto the elements related to Poison. When asked about the matter her answer always tend to be that she feels more comfortable manipulating something she is familiar or 'close' with.

7: Jutsu Mastery
Everyone knows that the basics are always important and that there is no such thing as being the strongest shinobi in existence. There will always be someone ahead of you, and always someone attempting to surpass you. It's for that reason shinboi tend to focus on honing their techniques even after they obtained expertise over them. Such Jutsu Mastery is a focus not unfamiliar to Reikiko, who often prefers to focus on the small repertoire of techniques she possesses in the hope of becoming someone that her parents would be proud of. In the end she couldn't lend her mother's sacrifice end up being in vain...

8: Bull's strength
Or in this case one jokingly could call it 'Wyrm's strength'. Due to Kousotsu's influence on her body Reikiko seems to possess an unnatural physical strength for her age and frame. Easily comparable to that of an adult, the child's 'Wyrm strength' seems to show mostly when Kousotsu controls her, but even without his influence her body seems to show signs of simply suppressing that power a little. It's curious, but not necessarily a bad thing since it has saved her from plenty of trials and difficulties over the years. Not to mention, being able to carry those heavy things herself spares her the embarrassment of calling an adult for help!

9: Strategist
To have the ability to think of tactics and strategies is something that requires a certain affinity for mental work. Perhaps due to her fondness of books and mental games Reikiko has often shown the aptitude to prepare and plan ahead of time. This doesn't necessarily have to be related to combat. She has often even shown to prepare schedules for her shopping trips or other seemingly insignificant details that would allow her to preserve more time or carry out something more effectively. Indeed, there can be a strategist even in a little girl like Reikiko! Albeit, one can only wonder what type of schemes she would come up with in a battle.
