Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Appearance
Physical: Hardly looking imposing to those around her, her slim figure belies the fact that she is deadly quick with her blade and her whip, as her danger actually lies in her opponents underestimating her. Finely carved muscles bend over small bones, and shape this woman into a thing of beauty. Her pale blonde hair gleams as the sunlight touches it, and is often tied up to keep it from getting in her way during training, but she often lets it hang loose too, where it lies mid way down her back, and her sea green eyes glitters with an almost unnatural intensity. Her skin is a light tan colour, and she seems to exude a spicy scent of a mix of ginger, cinnamon and other fragrant spices thanks to the scents she chooses to bathe with and wear.

Clothing: Seika tends to lean towards dresses, especially those of paler colours like white and cream. She also prefers silver to gold. All her clothing is specially tailored to allow her free range of movement, easily able to use her extensive abilities while still looking the part of being a family member of one of Sand's most well known families.</COLOR>

Personality
<COLOR color="darkgoldenrod">Seika has a strong, unbreakable will, and a fierce loyalty to her family and to her village. Not able to suffer fools gladly, she will often challenge the most unlikely foes for a lady of her stature. She isn't afraid to speak her mind, or stand up for her decisions, or to back her team mates on theirs if she agrees with them. Not even her own family is safe from her scathing side. Yet below her harsh exterior there is a sweet core, that people have to fight to reach. Like a fire, who can burn those who are careless, treating it with respect can give you warmth.

History
34 years ago, twins were born to Nobuku Azame and her, then, husband Hadoku Toyouda, one being Nobuku Seika, and the other being Nobuku Natsuki. Yet due to instances beyond their control, that was not the family unit that Seika and Natsuki would be raised into, for while they weren't related in blood to Azame's second husband, Kaibudo, it was he that they would call their father. Seika doesn't remember much about her life before her mother remarried, not like she really wants to. Parts that she remembered wasn't all that fulfilling, not like after she was taken on as Kaibudo's own.

As she was growing up she found herself attracted by the uses of both taijutsu and ninjutsu, trying to combine both disciplines into something more, and so that became the goal for the first ten years of her life, but something she didn't expect to her happened. Seika called it 'finding her light', which refers to her own skill, and also that she found the perfect way of doing both what she wanted at the same time. During this ten year period, her mother had given her father twin boys, Raizen and Taizen, and as she completed her own studies to become a shinobi, her mother gave birth to triplets, her younger sisters Shiro and Midori, and her youngest brother, Kuro. At this point she had never really had younger sisters, and so the ten year old Seika decided that she had to make sure that her younger sisters were protected at all times, whether they wanted or needed it or not.

As she rose through the ranks, the more noticeable her will became as she started questioning orders that were given and even vocally arguing against certain actions being taken, and this will was backed up by an inner fiery passion that few had witnessed before. This became her inner fire as she called it, and seemed to work in sync with her own inner light already, after all she had been born with both. Her anger and wrath seems to be enough for two, though equally her compassion seems to follow in that direction also.

Spiritualist

Disparaging of evil, the Spiritualist is one who believes in the path of purification, using their spiritual talents to ward off demons and protect the innocent. Traditionally guardians of shrines, more recently they have started applying their spiritual powers to protecting in a more active way. Their powers of healing and channeling are said to come directly from divinity.

Note: All techniques and buffs from this Core Ability are classified as Light.

Holy Weapon - Passive (3 points)
The blade of the Spiritualist must be mighty and strike true, just as all their blows must. One with this special affinity can strike well indeed. The inner light of the user's chakra shimmers off a blade with this power in it, and they are said never to grow dull or rusty, and the wood of their wooden weapons to never rot or need polishing.
Effect: Grants +10% damage and +1 accuracy to the user's weapon of choice. While the user carries this weapon, their healing jutsu are 15% more effective.


White Blessing - Boost (1 point)
Restriction- Can only be purchased twice
Spiritualist emanate a calming, pacifying aura that washes over their allies, imbuing them with a sense of precision and clear-mindedness that makes their strikes more precise.
Effect: User and allies gain +1 accuracy. Does not stack with other users of White Blessing.[/b]

Holy Embodiment - Passive (3 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up
As guardians against evil, Spiritualists are naturally resistant to the effects of it. They do not shirk in the face of fear, nor are they repelled easily. Those Spiritualists with this skill are said to have the appearance of a shimmering white aura around them by those sensitive to such things, as if to shield them.
Effect: All Dark jutsu do 50% damage to them. User is immune to fear effects and intimidation effects. Suppression or other AP reduction or attack disrupting effects have only half their normal chance of working on them.


Sacred Style - Style (2 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up, requires Holy Weapon
Occasionally their natural passive aura isn't strong enough, so the Spiritualist must sharpen and hone their aura to let them move faster and with more precision than normal. In this state, anyone can see the radiant white chakra that spills off of both the Spiritualist and their weapon, and they are able to swing around the heaviest of weapons one-handed with little regard to weight.
Effect: User gains +1 Accuracy and +1 Critical range with their chosen weapon. For the duration of this style, the weapon is able to cut through half of any damage reduction;. Exhausts at an above average rate.

Notes:
- Like any other fighting style, this can be turned on or off at the user’s discretion or lack there of. Counts as a Physical Style.


Weapon Affinity - Passive (2 points)
Restriction- Must have a weapon of chosen type
It is not easy to pry the Spiritualist's weapon out of their grasp. The flow of their chakra into it constantly has bonded it to them, making it an extension of their own body.
Effect: User gains +2 against being disarmed for a single weapon type. All basic strike and attacks C-Rank and below exhaust for half.

Divine Health - Boost (1 points)X2
Restriction- Can be purchased up to three times
As their spiritual powers are divine, so is their ability to repair and restore others. A Spiritualist not only is able to fix others wounds at an increased rate, but when the favor is returned, they heal more quickly themselves as well.
Effect: All Healing jutsu used by or on the user is increased by +5%. In addition, the user recovers +1% Max HP while resting.


Divinity Aura - Modification (2 points)
Restriction- Must have the Chakra Extension Jutsu
The normally invisible and intangible aura of holy energy that suffuses the Spiritualist is able to become a physical, visible presence when the user chooses to use it. Their weapon glows brightly with a light that makes it difficult to look at, and the normal rules for the Aura jutsu are surpassed if the Spiritualist wills it.
Effect: Grants an additional +1 Accuracy. If the special effect Aura is used and the next Taijutsu Attack is used by the chosen weapon, the attack cuts through all Damage Reduction.

Clarity Strike - Dependent Special Move (3 points)
Not only skilled with their weapons, the Spiritualist is able to channel their specialized chakra into a spell, making it bypass even the strongest defenses. The Ninjutsu cast using this technique are enhanced with the natural aura of the user.
Effect: Able to convert one Ninjutsu into a single-target non-elemental attack at +20% damage for an extra +20% chakra. This attack is considered 'light' element and cuts through half of all Ninjutsu damage reduction.


Spiritual Chakra - Boost (1 point)X2
Restriction- Can be purchased twice
The default chakra of a Spiritualist is not the same as that of their fellow ninja, but rather gifted with a different kind of power altogether. It seems to cut through anything that hinders it with little effort.
Effect: +5% damage to all Ninjutsu. This damage counts as 'Light' element and cuts through half of Ninjutsu damage reduction. This bonus applies to all other Spiritualist light chakra techniques as well.


Divine Light - Independent Special Move (3 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up
Light can be used for many things. Traditionally, Spiritualists use their powers for honorable strikes and abhor sneak attacks. However, they aren't adverse to evening out a fight in an unfair situation, especially when combating against those who would use such skills on them.
Effect: Makes a bright flash of light that blinds everyone who fails a Ninjutsu dodge check against it in the battle, allies included. Gives -4 accuracy that round. Blindness wears off by half each round. Can only be used once every three rounds.


White Blaze - Dependent Special Move (3 points)
Those who only possess one form of a technique are likely to be outmaneuvered. In addition to possessing the power to convert a jutsu into an attack on a single target, the Spiritualist also can gain the skill to weaken it slightly and make the range of the jutsu expand instead, favoring an increased chance to strike over damage.
Effect: The user is able to convert any Ninjutsu into a Light-Element attack dealing +10% Damage to a 25x25 foot area, but costing an additional +10% Chakra. This attack cuts through half of all damage reduction, and does not receive any Elemental buffs.

Illuminate - Jutsu (1 point, 1 point to rank up)
Restriction- A-Rank and up
The most powerful weapon in a Spiritualist's arsenal, this technique consists of a flurry of their special chakra directed at the opponent, striking them in a series of damaging rays. The attack usually stuns those who haven't seen it before, as the flashes of light emitted are quite bright and as unnatural-seeming as the rest of the Spiritualist's skills.
Rank 1: Five flashes of light chakra at 1000 damage each. Attack counts as non-elemental Ninjutsu and cuts through half of all relevant damage reduction.
Rank 2: Five flashes of light chakra at 1200 damage each. Attack counts as non-elemental Ninjutsu and cuts through half of all relevant damage reduction.

Cost: 2750 CP and 3 AP

Jinchuuriki

Legends say that long ago, back in the early days of the shinobi world, their existed powerful Demons possessing the power to wreak havoc across the land. As a counter measure to fight these monsters, village's sealed these beasts into the bodies of Human Hosts. Whether these stories hold true or not, this forbidden practice, although frowned upon, is still practiced on a much lesser scale. There exist people who have had the energies of weaker demons and spirits sealed within their body, their body and mind becoming a vessel for the entity's power. The hosts have been known to take on certain characteristics of their inner demons, both mental and physical changes and traits which vary widely. Although one cannot deny the power the host gains from having a demon reside within them, able to draw upon it's power and gain unique affinity to the demon's affinity, their comes a price with all power. From the moment the demon is sealed within the Host, it becomes a battle for control, the demon seeking to grasp as much control as it can over the user...

Prerequisites
Kinjutsu Application, 3 Ability Slots, 10 Mastered Ninjutsu of the chosen Element.

Effects:
- When gaining this kinjutsu, the user may choose any base or advanced element of Ninjutsu to be the affinity of their inner demon. All Ninjutsu of this Element do not require Handseals as the demon bestows unnatural abilities to the user.
- They are treated as having a 'minor' affinity to this element in their base form, and a 'major' affinity in it when in either Demon Cloak form.
- If an Advanced Element is chosen, this element will not count towards their 'Advanced Element' slots.
- While in the Demon Cloak, the user has a chance to not be able to detect friend or foe due to the power of their inner demon. Every attack has a certain percentage chance to cause the Jinchuuriki to attack a random target on the field. This only applies to the effected action, not the rest of the fight.
- Jinchuuriki skills do not require handseals.
- All Jinchuuriki techniques receive Damage/Cp reduction buffs to the user's chosen Element.
- All melee attacks made by the Jinchuuriki use their chosen element's Ninjutsu Accuracy, receiving the chosen element's Damage and Cp buffs and replacing the Melee accuracy/damage buffs.
