Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

"Chakra....senses.....focus...?" Kagari asked himself as he was reading one of the basic ninja principle textbooks at the academy. It was break time, most kids were out playing outside; playing tag, talking, doing what kids do. He was entirely new to the process of being a ninja, even though he had lived in Suna since he was 9; only now has he entered the academy at 13. The simple stuff like punching and kicking were all your basic knowhows, but the new stuff like using the energy that's in your body, channeling it and doing all sorts of techniques were mysterious to him. "We sound more like wizards than we do like ninjas..." Kagari said to himself as he kept reading. After a few more minutes of reading, his young attention span could take only so much of staring at text all day; so he got up and went out to the back of the academy, a small training field where a couple of wooden dummies were set up for practice.

Kagari looked at the dummies, obeserving their behavior as if they were going to do something. He then walked closer, studying it even more. "So....how many kids beat you up today....1....million?" Kagari said to the dummy.
"...." No response came from it. "Right...you're a non-living object and I'm trying to talk to you...." Kagari sighed as he backed away a little bit. 'Lets try this....' Kagari stretched, getting his muscles warmed up for the excercise he was about to do. Also it helped wake him up after droning over the words in the textbook. He then got into a fighting stance that he was taught in a recent "class". A class he will surely remember for as long as he lives. It involved a lot of punching, planning and a lot of improvising; as well as a very no nonsense white haired sensei. He got into the stance that she taught him; fists up over his face, not covering his eyes. He was hopping on the ball of his foot, instead of his toes. It was a fighting stance that was mostly used by boxers and kickboxers alike; it was a good for beginners. Although he was unusual since his stance was southpaw, which had his right hand as the lead fist and the left as the back, he was left handed afterall. Kagari then approached the dummy and started to do the basic combos. He had been practicing them since the class happend. He would do them at home against a pillow, when he went excercising, or when he was bored. Kagari wanted to make sure he had this stance down; where he didn't even think of the combos he was throwing.

Kagari would mix up a bit doing different combinations of hooks, upercuts and jabs; and sometimes even elbows. He was suprised at the speed he was throwing them. They weren't quick, but they were fast enough where they could do some damage if enough was thrown. Kagari wasn't lacking for stamina either, after a few more combos; he still felt like he could go another 5 minutes. 'I think at this point I got punches down.' Kagari looked as the dummy had a few welts in it after the punches he was throwing, his hands felt a bit sore; since he didn't exactly cover them up with fighting tape or gloves. 'I should really remember to bring some gloves at least.' Kagari sighed a bit as he wiped his hands of sweat. It was time to take a break.

After class he visited the area that he had his eventful class in. It still had the hole that Amagi Saieko had punched in to lead them to a different training field. He walked into the field, looking at it and taking it in. He remembered the battle that he fought where he had to grab the two bells from Saieko; he still had the one bell he got from her, signfying he passed the class. Kagari walked torwards the spot where Saieko was standing, and tried to retrace the battle. Kagari was doing his best to imagine ghosts doing the actions of his "teammates", and his sensei as best he could. The battle had felt long, they were 3 academy students up against a veteran ninja; a jounin. It was bad, she had challenged the one of them to a 1 on 1 duel; a red haired boy who was cocky and took dived head first into action he could get his fingers on. The other had a problem with controlling himself, he went feral at the slighetest bit of blood or something he thought could sate his hunger. Kagari was caught in the middle of it, trying to organize them and work together. Sadly it didn't happen, the red haired one blew him off and the other was in no shape to see reason or logic.

Kagari improvised a plan that actually worked out, using smokebombs and left over firecrackers; he was able to actually land a suprise attack on his sensei. It was a simple plan, use the firecrackers to cover up the sound of his footsteps, and the smoke to cover him; he may have actually succeded. Unfortunately, Saieko had captured one of them in a coffin; forcing him to rethink of another one. Before he could completely execute his new plan that involved more firecrackers and a stink bomb; she passed them. Well, the two of them; the other one seemed to have...failed.

"I'm honestly suprsied it worked as well as it did." Kagari said outloud, looking at the area where Saieko had summoned a metal clone as a bodyguard. One of the firecrackers blew it's leg off, a nasty sight if it were flesh and blood. When he finally stopped reliving the flashback, he went back into the academy before had one last look at the field.

"Hopefully next time the others will actually listen to the plan." Kagari said as headed back home.

Currently Shinobi 101 does not allow you to link Taijutsu types which use different Accuracy types (Slashing uses Melee Accuracy and Projectile uses Ranged Accuracy). Essentially Projectile Taijutsu can only be linked to Ranged Taijutsu so unfortunately you'll need to pick different options to link together using it.

Somewhere in Grand Palais, you'd find a boy sitting alone in an abandoned construction zone sitting on top of an unfinished apartment. It was to be another apartment complex maybe, but it never was built. Either do to the owner of the land running out of cash or the construction company the owner hired were to lazy to even continue the project. Either way, no one was working on this thing, which made it practically devoid of life. No one every came here, except Kagari. He had been coming here the past year, it was nearby his house, and no one was there to bother him, tease him, or even notice him. There were just platforms, places to hide, ladders, and all sorts of areas where you can jump and play. Albeit, it was dangerous. The first few times Kagari came here he would come home with bruises and cuts. His mother would ask him where he was all day and he would come up with an excuse saying, "I got bullied by some kids at the park."

Thankfully, he has been able so far to avoid a rusted nail or a broken bone. Although a couple doctors visits did make it difficult to hide sprains and a stretched muscle. It did get harder to try and hide splinters and how his shoes always got worn out. From that first time he got here, Kagari avoided going higher and higher, as the construction site went 7 stories tall with two towers standing next to each other with a gap in the middle. You could jump from tower to tower on some levels as there bridges built, but as you got higher the gap got a little more dangerous. Over a couple of months, Kagari got braver and started to climb higher and higher. He got better at timing his jumps, noticing at how high he would get. He noticed that his stamina, his speed, and overall how lighter and faster he felt. He felt like the vaults, jumps, and other maneuvers he was doing felt like second nature; a natrual reaction when a railway or a object got in his way. He would easily jump or maneuver over it not stopping his momentum. The construction site became an obstacle course, Kagari would race and stack objects he would have to vault over or slide under. He would set a goal, and time each run he made from bottom to top or vice versa.

He had seen some of the older ninjas do it; genin, jounin, and chunin did these fancy flips and tricks when they were training in the Shinobi Foundation Complex. He was mesmerized by some of their movements, how quick and fluidly they moved. He studied the movements, and did his best to try and recreate them. Although the first few times he fell flat on his face.

Although today was different. It was 4:30Pm, and he was on the rooftop of the left tower. He was overlooking the horizon, just gazing at what he could were people going place to place. He was sitting, enjoying the contemplative silence as if he was in a meditative state. He was steadying his breath, as he just finished another run. He looked at his watch, 3 minutes, 45 seconds and 28 milliseconds it read. It took him at least 3 minutes to get from bottom to top, this time without using the stairs or the ladders. He remembered using the walls, crates, and any holes he could mantle up on and climb upwards. During this run he never slowed his pace when an object got in his way, he just simply moved above, below or around it. He smiled a bit, breathed a sigh of relief and took a sip from his water bottle.

"I bet next time I could finish 2 minutes faster..."

Also, the things i bought in the shinobi shop. I bought some equipment and a lot of taijutsu techniques both unarmed and some slashing. Are those I have to RP for individually or do i have to list what I have bought so I can update my dojo?

Tracking and Stalking Ability RP:

Walking around Grand Palais at 2 AM is asking for a chance to be mugged, but if you're quick enough and know the routes to avoid most attention; you're bound to make it your destination safely. After living in the hellhole for a few years now, the 15 year old genin was able to figure out how to navigate the area with ease. It also helped that he at least looked a bit more imposing, as he still practiced his fparkour on the construction site. If he had to he could outrun most of the drunken fellows, but some of the gangs he avoided; they usually recurited academy students who either failed or got kicked out to bolster their ranks.

As he walked into his apartment complex, it was dead silent; apart from snoring and the occasional cough. Although that was suddenly changed when he heard glass breaking, followed by what sounded like a scuffle coming from one of the upper floors. He quickly hid himself on one of the levels, keeping an eye on the stairway. Loud footsteps echoed the hallway, accompanied by a couple of dog barks and a crying baby. Two men were seen rushing down the stairway, one man with a cut on his arm as blood trailed down the steps. They weren't that disguised at all, just a bandana covering their mouths. Although the colors they wore affiliated them with a gang, a dark maroon; The Hop Sing Boys. They had just broke into an home, but seemed unsucessful as one of them walked away with that nasty cut.

Kagari waited a few more moments to make sure they were far enough to not hear the reverberation of the stairway, he stepped out and proceeded to walk up the stairway. As he took each step he kept wondering who's apartment they broke into. Was it his neighbor's one, Takeo? Or one of the upperfloors where one of the other gangs resided? As he climbed each step, he got a little quicker. He was starting to put together the pieces of the puzzle as he heard crying not coming from a baby, but from a woman. He started get more concerend and anxious, now running up the stairs. He froze when he saw that his apartment was the one that was broken into, before sprinting into his apartment to check on his mother.

"Mom?!" Kagari cried out at the foot of the door, which was now wide open; practically detatched. He saw his mother, huddled in a corner sobbing as she had a tight grip on aknife which was stained with blood. Kagari walked slowly, he knew if he scared or alerted his mom in her current state; she might accidently lash out. He gently called out to her, "Mom...It's me." She slowly turned her head, before dropping the knife and rushing over to hug her son for comfort. She was sobbing into his shoulder, not speaking a single word. Kagari did his best to comfort her, "It's okay mom...They're gone." She nodded slowly as he eyed the apartment, tyring to get a gauge on the damage done. As she started to calm down more, he would try to get some information out of his mother. "What happened?" Kagari asked gently. "They...they bursted in and...They wanted to find out where I had...the package?" His mother was doing her best to recall the events, but most of her words were interuppted by sniffles and ragged breathing. "I told them I didn't know where it was and then one of them hit me." Kagari nodded for her to continue, as she slowly rubbed the sore spot on her cheek. "Then they started arguing, about this being the wrong apartment...I-I got out the knife that you hid underneath the chair and." She took a deep breath, and then continued with her story. "One of them reached for me and I cut him on his arm." Kagari looked torwards the knife again, his mother was at least somewhat able to defend herself. "the man screamed at me, and then the other one hit me again a few more times." She started crying again, as Kagari reached out to comfort her again. "they left shortly after they searched the apartment...they-they didn't take anything though...Thank God."

An hour later he escorted his mother to a close neighbor's apartment, away from the carnage. Kagari inspected the apartment, searching for any more clues. Besides the door barely being on his hinges, all he could see was the signs of a slight scuffle and some of the blood from the man he saw earlier that had been cut. Other than that, the two criminals had roughed up the apartment, searched high and low for the "package". It was obvious that they had broken into the wrong apartment, and unfortantnely it was Kagari's. He could start to feel the blood rush to his head, tightening his fists as he again looked at the state of his apartment. It was not the state that they left it, but what he did to his mother and the bruises they left her. Kagari decided to roll into action, he was tired of standing there doing nothing while the two men were out there got scott free.

___________________________________________

He followed the blood trail from his apartment down to the ground floor, thankfully his mom left a deep gash and that the two of them were in a hurry. They didn't cover up his wound well enough so it left a decent trail. It was dark however, so Kagari couldn't follow the blood trail completely, but he knew where the men's gang hung out. As he got closer to the Hop Sing Boy's territory, he decided to start using his parkour skills to his advantage. He climbed where he could get a better view of the area, observing for any sign of the two men.

As he scanned the area, he noticed one man holding his right arm very closely as he walked gingerly. He was accompanied by one other man as they headed somewhere. Kagari followed the two from above, trying to not alert his presence as he listened in on their conversation.

"Shit...it still stings man."

"Well that's what you get for not paying attention dumbass."

"You think I didn't expect her to pull a knife on me?! You shoulda killed her!"

"Nah, that'd be a waste. Who knows, I may visit her later..."

At that point, Kagari was furious. He waited for his moment to strike as they headed down a secluded alleway. Before dropping down behind them, Kagari pulled up his hood and tied a bright yellow bandana around his mouth. He walked towards the uninjure one and tapped him on the shoulder. "What da ya-" He was cut short as he was immidietely clocked by Kagari's fist, a swift knee to the abdomen dropping him to his knees. Kagari then aimed his elbow for the back of his neck; finally dropping him to the ground. Kagari was completely silent, his face unchanged as he turned to the injured one.

"Y-You're gonna regret that!" As he tried to run, Kagari sweeped his legs as he fell face first to the ground. He walked over to the man and picked him up by the collar and threw him into some nearyby trash. "So you think you can break into a random apartment and walk away do you?" Kagari's voice was now not as gentle as it was earlier, it was filled with rage, and most of all a thirst for revenge. "I-I don't know what you're talking about!"

"Oh yeah, maybe this will get you talking..." Kagari reached for a nearby bottle full of half finished whiskey amongst the trash and ripped open the man's sleeve that covered his wound. He promptly poured the whiskey all over the open wound, covering the man's mouth with his hand as his muffelled screams filled the alleway. "Ok ok! I-I'm sorry man! We got the wrong apartment. Just, please stop hurting me man!" The man was practically crying, as his right arm was twitching in pain.

"You hope I don't see you again." the man nodded. Kagari then took the empty bottle of whiskey and smashed it over his head, knocking the injured man out completely. Kagari turned his attention to the other man, he was still knocked out by Kagari's swift combo. He walked over to the man and left the bright yellow bandana on his back, a calling card of sorts. It was the color of the Kings, a rival gang of the Hop Sing Boys. If word got out that one of the members of the Kings ambushed one of the HSB's...A gang war could break out. Kagari left the alleway promptly before drawing back his hood as he headed back to his home, unfazed by what he had just done.

In preparation for his mission to Capture Bounty Target Haku Saburou, Kagari carefully studied the surrounding area of Yoshiwara in the red light district. He observed various guard patterns, locations, and areas where Kagari could use to his advantage to sneak into Yoshiwara and capture Haku Saburou. During his mission to destroy and capture Haku Saburou, kagari had to fight against multiple enemies by himself and was able to dispatch them. Mission Thread for Proof

OOC: Hopefully my mission proof is viable enough for both abilities. Also, martial artist, because I mastered 4 Unarmed ninjutsu as of this week's training.

Elementalist
I'm a C rank now, and that moves my Minor Affinity of Water Up to A Major.

RP If needed:

Kagari was buckled over his knees as he was recuperating his strength after multiple attempts at practicing with his usage of his element, water. He had been learning various water ninjutsu's from scrolls and teachers that gave him pointers. There weren't many ninjas who were trained in water, or if there has been, Kagari never met them. Most of the techniques he had to learn on his own, from hours of spent on the training fields in the Shinobi Foundation Complex. Focusing chakra and turning it into water was difficult, as it required a particular understanding of flow and flexibility. "This...this is difficult." Kagari wiped the sweat that was beading down his warm forehead, sighing as he now noticed the training fields were starting to empty. "I better get home quick, or mom will start to worry." He closed his eyes momentarily to focus, imagining in his mind rain. He had only seen it a few times in the hot desert, but he recalled for a brief moment in winter; water fell in Suna. He visibly remembered the drops of rain falling to the earth from the sky, enjoying the sounds of it echoing as it hit metal and dirt. As he closed his eyes, he put his hands together and formed a seal, still recalling that glimpse of rain. He felt a light drip on his head, as he opened his eyes and looked above. It started to drizzle, then turned into a full shower. At first, he wondered if it was raining, but remembered the description of Rain Dance, a water jutsu that creates a small downpour of rain in the area. He smiled and breathed a sigh of relief.
