Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It surely has been a long time since Yuna has been in Cloud. Heck, even the Ancient Forest seems to be almost unrecognizable to her after all of her ventures. Even through its whole vastness, her own experience makes her think that this place is small. She has heard some of the things that has happened around Cloud since she has been gone. She was no idiot, she is part of the ANBU branch after all. Even though they have the obvious trouble of mercenaries attacking Cloud, along with the incompetency of the other Villages not even bothering with sending out a warning message or dealing with the problems within their own lands. But there was another problem, one that Yuna kept a close ear to the ground for. Renegades and revolutionaries. Apparently, something went down on a train and... She clenched her fist as she felt natural energy surround her to blast a boulder into nothingness.

Her father... He had one job. To not accept any more dangerous missions. And now he's been taken by these revolutionists. It's weird... She had suppressed her emotions when she was a jinchurrikki, to not lose control, but now that she has control of her own emotions now, she feels numb. She shook her head, pushing the thoughts out of her head. She has to put trust in whoever goes to rescues him will be successful. Her? She has to focus on other things. For starters, she has to better understand her newfound powers now that she isn't constantly fighting for her life or run for her life.

Today, she had ditched the whole goth look that she had usually went with and adopted more of a soldier type of look. Her hair had grown out longer to cover one of her eyes. She fitted her armor to make sure that it had covered most of her joints of her body, as those would be the most susceptible to damage. She had promised herself that this training was to help her get her mind off of the pending doom her father might be in, but in the end, she let out a big sigh and leaned up against a tree to contemplate with all the information that she knows.

The crisp mountain air and light snow all over the branches turned the forest into a shimmering wonderland that only a handful of people got to see; aside from pictures, anyways. The mountains were an incredibly dangerous place, even now, despite the fact that it rested right next to Kumogakure. Creatures of unusual size, outright monsterss, the occasional brave rogue, and a myriad of other things made wondering in the forest something of a hazard for anyone who wasn’t above at least Chuunin level by themselves. Gently crunching the dead leaves and frost beneath his combat boots was one such person who could traverse the area by himself, and his shaded eyes took in the sights with some reverence; even if the thin air made his lungs burn with each breath.

Shin was allowed a day out of his cage. It was a rare gift from his master but one he took quickly to get out of his little locked hovel in the ANBU quarters. Another Operative was following further behind, well out of eyesight, but close enough to make a move if the assassin tried to do anything outside the norm. Which, wasn’t likely, as the main problem Shinjo supposedly had in his past involved people, not nature, and was another reason the Ancient Forest was chosen for his place to relax. His right arm, thankfully not his dominant, was held up in a sling fully cast and that side in general, what flesh he let be exposed to the cold anyways, looked banged up in general. Black eye, bruised cheeks, and beneath his clothing even more bruising. Four broken ribs, bruised hip, at one point some serious internal bleeding…he was thankful in the least that his legs made it out uninjured. The cause of this? He wasn’t sure. All he remembered was a couple days after returning to the village something barreled him into a building and threw a couple of walls. Official report was that it was a car, but he wasn’t so sure about that because he believes that whatever hit him had long white hair. Unfortunately that counted towards quite a few number of citizens and while only a small number of them were capable of bowling a human through a building, they all had solid alibis. So, “hit by a car” was on a official report for the first time in shinobi history. With the injuries now mostly having been healed, Miro decided to let her apprentice out for some “fresh air” in that wonderful twisted way she did by sending his asthma riddled lungs into the mountains.

Shinjo didn’t complain even a little. The fresh air felt great on everything but his lungs and that had gotten to a point he could easily ignore. The sound of an explosion did garner his attention though. He subconsciously checked the small of his back for his gun knowing that it wouldn’t do much against most of the creatures out here except give him time to get away, but couldn’t help but touch it to calm his anxiety. Loudly, forgoing his usual ANBU stealth, the older teen carefully found the clearing Yuna was leaned against a tree; the poor destroyed boulder not easily missed.
Oh thank the Kami,” Shinjo said as he came out of the bushes, “For a second I thought another monster was too close to the village wrecking havoc again. Not sure we could have two manned such a beast.” As if on cue, Shin’s handler for the day dropped down on a thick branch in the trees above him.
Are…you okay? Need any help? I can only hope that boulder over there was your doing, cuz these woods aren’t exactly solo friendly.

Lost in her own thoughts, Yuna tensed up at the sound of another person, to relax soon after. Geez, it seems her time alone taking out the Death Organization members and the whole events that had happened in Water Country, is sticking with her. It also doesn't help that she can no longer hear the blood flows of others. And she calls herself an ANBU. Though, as she eyed the older teen, she took notice of another person above him. She also noted that the one talking had evidence of some sort of scuffle or fight. Black eye, bruised cheeks. She rubbed her temples as she took a breath.

"Yeah. Just have a lot on my mind right now. Needed somewhere quiet to clear my mind and release some stress." Whenever the older teen had warned her that the Ancient Forest isn't exactly safe for being alone in, she couldn't help but give a soft small and laugh a little bit before saying, "I've dealt with a whole country of monsters and a crazy cult on top of it. This is a walk in the park for me."

She then extended her hand out to greet the newcomer. "The name's Chigokai Yuna. What's your name, along with your stalkers? Also, are YOU okay? You look like you got into a fight." She hoped that she wasn't going off as sounding like she was interrogating the poor older teen. This kid was the second person that she has interacted with since her coming back from Water. She felt a slight headache and her mind flashed back to the cold frigid place, monsters rushing at her by the hordes. She closed her eyes and shook her head. "I'm fine." She realized that she had caught herself on a nearby tree stump.

She noticed the masked person standing over the older teen when she remembered that her Sennin needed her to accompany her to Sand. She took a deep breath before stretching her body out. "Sorry to cut it short, but I just remembered something important. Hope to meet you under more oppurtune times."

She let out a sigh. She can't catch a break, can she? The young ANBU shook her head. Hopefully soon she can get back and her father will have dealt with the revolutionists that have taken him. Yuna hated that she can't help her father, but she has no other choice but to help her Sennin with other matters which just as well might be more important than the revolutionists.
