Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Through years of the harsh, rigorous and hellish training placed upon Kyojin since youth, he was able to develop the ability, due to his Terrarite heritage, coat his arms with hardened rubies meant to inflict a bit more than raw damage. Raised with the belief his body is a weapon, his fists are more than just part of him. He uses it and it uses him. Bestowed raw and terrible power as result of his vigorous training, his fists are able to perform what it was meant to do: tear men asunder. As such, he named his unique crystalline fists, Sunderer.
Type: Unarmed
Accuracy: +2
Damage: -10%

I hope I did everything right.

Acrobatics:
Under the rigorous training during his youth, Kyojin became a powerhouse, one meant and built to destroy. He was a warrior. That was his birthright. But when he came to Mist in order to become a shinobi, he had learned to adapt quickly or fail. Thus he learned to combine the rough, powerful style of his ancestors and the shinobi's way of being flexible, maximizing the true potential of the Zaiken. In no time he was able to, with his heavy rock-like body, perform somersaults, flips and acrobatic maneuvers with relative ease. He believed there was such benefit in being a warrior shinobi. And reap the benefits he did.

Bull's Strength:
Kyojin is a descendant of an infamous clan of warriors, the Kyoujouran. He is one of the few in his clan who received showings of the ancient bloodline. As such, he was, at the age seven, put under the rigorous, harsh and indiscriminating training regime created by his ancestors. It was not meant for ordinary men or regular shinobi, for they would die within a hour or two. No. It was meant for someone with the hard, rocky skin of the Kyoujouran. Or with the powerful Tremor Sense, which bestows an unique connection to the earth, as almost revering as echolocation. Once through the training, Kyojin's muscles are incredulously strengthened, perfectly capable of delivering all-powerful piercing, deathly strikes. A single punch was enough to create earthquakes. When he became used to his body, produced by the harsh training, he discovered he could handle heavy weapons or objects quite as easily as lifting a pillow. He smirked. His strength was meant to be feared.

Called Shot:
Incredible. When Kyojin mastered the full capabilities of his bloodline, became adept at every one of his clan's secret techniques, he realized how blessed his ancestors were by their gods. See, the soft-fleshes, others not of his bloodline, have weak bodies. As the name implies, they're soft, thus, easily breakable. Strong, yes, but breakable nonetheless. With adequate studying, one can discover all the weaknesses of the human body and use such knowledge to place proper attacks in order to gain favorable advantages in battle. But it was not easy. The most important thing necessary to utilize such knowledge was controlled precise movements. Zaiken, a style used by Kyoujouran, allowed the user to produce controlled and forceful movements. Using this and his knowledge of the human body, he would be able to land precise and powerful attacks on limbs. Arm, leg, head... you name it, he'll target it.

Combo Master:
The Zaiken was a powerful style meant for only the Kyoujouran, Kyojin thought. Throughout missions and enemies he had fought, the Zaiken permitted him to unleash fast, powerful and fearful attacks. The simple thing to do was never let up his blows. As a youth in his clan, he was taught a series of codes regarding and respecting the elements of the world. Two codes fits this fluid and aggressive linking movements of overpowering his enemies.

Be like fire, blazing through your enemies indiscriminately.

Be like lightning... fast, true and straight.

Above all, he respects the Code of the Krocs as well as the Law of the Oni Saiseki, for always had it guided him and never had it failed him in his lifetime as a warrior.

Duelist:
No doubt Kyojin is a shinobi and a fine one at that. But at heart, he is a warrior. In his clan, or rather tribe, he is known as a Titan, something of a war chief or leader. As such, he is the one of the most powerful warriors and he lives up to the name quite easily as many attempted to thwart his status as a Titan by challenging him to a duel. No matter how many he had fought, always did he took thrill in fighting one on one and defeating them as he towered over their unconscious bodies. The result of this constant challenging and training made him a proficient fighter in one on one combat. He could take care of more than one opponent but there was nothing like taking down an opponent who faced you alone. It was his way of dominating them, his way of showing his power without boasting or bragging, which was out of character for him. A shinobi in duty, a warrior in heart and a duelist in experience.

All approved.

Greetings. Profile in signature. Requesting abilities: (There is a single RP for two abilities, over 200 WC. Just wanted to let you know so you do not overlook it.)
Adrenaline Rush:
There was nothing like the thrill of battle. Done right, a strong surge of adrenaline can turn the tables in a battle. Even so, it was unwise to constantly use such rush, for it would weaken the body and one's lifespan. Kyojin, as a warrior, understood this exhilarating feeling of power, however fleeting. The first time he discovered this ability, he was sparring against another clansmen. Desperate and angry, he suddenly felt his senses heightened, his strength increased. His opponent was in slow motion, enabling Kyojin to deftly evade his attacks. He was able to concentrate on his opponent with an amazing ease, learning the meaning of tunnel vision he had heard warriors mention now and then. He was so focused on his opponent, he did not even sense his instructor approaching him. Every technique or ability, he learned, has its risk and when he calmed down, he was overwhelmed by a crash, abruptly exhausted.

In no time, he perfected this ability and restricted it to limited uses in order to best utilize it.

Jutsu Creator:
Kyojin could use ninjutsu but it was not a favorite of his. He understood the basics of ninjutsu, but found himself favoring taijutsu. It was not unexpected, of course. He was meant to pummel men, not cast some fancy ninjutsu. Even so, it took years of dedication and commitment to master all the taijutsu he had learned. When he became adept in all there was to be, he was a bit disappointed. Then an idea came to him, but was it possible? Why not. The first shinobi must have had done it and passed their techniques to the future generations. If they could create a jutsu, why not he with his fists? To test this, he requested the aid one of his Crags, his warrior clansmen.

"It would be an honor to spar with you, Redfist,"

Kyojin smirked. The warriors in his clan came to call him Redfist, due to Sunderer, the weapon he named his ruby-coated fists. The two started their Zaiken katas, then faced each other, taking their stances. Activating Sunderer, Kyojin charged in and went through a series of parry-block-parry-blocks against his brethren. Whether by instincts or experience, he did not know, but he made a quick spin step and unleashed a backhand hook attack that caught his brethren off-guard, striking him down.

"Incredible! Was that not a combination of Tiger Hook and... Step-In Flash? I would not have thought of combining such techniques nor did I dream it was possible... the Crags should learn of this!"

"Yes... this is a fine discovery. Sound the horn, we shall confer at my father's fire-ring,"

Step-In Hook? Tiger's Flash? Maybe...

Quick Healer and Thick Blood:
As Kyojin grew older, he began to see the great benefits of his ancestry. The first Namazu were children bred from an union between a Terrarite, an elemental crystal being and a Kyoujouran. The result of such union was the colorful skin tones of the Namazu, which varied from red to indigo as if crystals themselves and a very small portion of the ability to generate some crystals on their bodies. Not much is known about Terrarites, only that they are supposedly extinct and were blessed by the same gods/goddesses that gave birth to the Kyoujouran. Perhaps they were meant to be, but never will they know.

Terrarites were said to be crystal humanoids who were tall, towering masses of power. They had incredible regeneration rates, easily able to repair damage done to them by growing more crystals on their bodies. Feared, they were in a constant warring period that nearly wiped out their numbers. Kyoujourans were masters of an unique style of taijutsu that earned them a name in the ancient shinobi time. Along with their unique style, Zaiken, was a rocky skin that rendered damage done to them. It also crippled their sense of touch, allowing them to ignore injuries to an extent.

And so as Kyojin grew older, he realized he had an impressive recuperation rate, sometimes needing only five or six hours of sleep to merely recover his full strength. Along with that was a 'thick blood', which made him quite resistant to injuries caused by bleeding, permitting him to keep fighting without hindrance from bleeding damage. He was blessed, indeed...

Plunderer

Plunderer_zps9e5db17c.jpg

After constant training with both of his fists coated with hardened rubies, Sunderer, his hands began to change colors, from red to orange. He could not protrude crystals from his body, said to be a primary skill of his Terrarite ancestors, but coating his body with crystals is all he can do... so far. Excited, he swung his fists against boulders after boulders, discovering the orange crystal on it to be much sturdier, thus stronger, than Sunderer, with the latter being faster. He decided to call one of his warriors, a Crag, and hosted a spar. With further testing and some adjustment, he realized this crystal would be a better weapon against ninjutsu users. Sunderer was born to destroy. This one shall wreck true havoc and rip away the greatest asset to a ninjutsu user, chakra! The naming did not take long.

Plunderer.

Greetings. Requesting:
Poison Mastery:

The more Kyojin sparred against his Crags with his crystal coated fists, the more he realized these crystals also contained unique properties. They weren't just tough, resilient and sturdy. If Kyojin punched someone with Sunderer or Plunderer, small, microscopic flakes of the crystal on his fists can harm his opponent by entering their bloodstream or upon direct contact. Experiments and training provided the answer he seeked, with Kyojin realizing the nature of these small flakes were poisonous. The whole time he had been doing it subconsciously, and now he wanted to perfect this ability to his benefit.

Training harshly for a while, Kyojin isolated himself a bit, but it was worth the effort. These poisonous substances on his crystallized fists were now refined and strengthened. To cure one's self of the poisons Kyojin employs would be a difficult, unless one had some kind of natural resistance to poisons. Was it fair? No. Did he care? No, for the world of shinobi is never fair, no matter how honorable one can be. He might be a warrior, but he was also a shinobi. Poisons were not beneath shinobi.

(This is in reference to the fact Sunderer and Plunderer, his weapons, both have the Toxify augment.)
