Skill Training: Human Anatomy, Duelist, and Initiative
Type: Solo-Self mod
Rank: B-Rank
Participants: Hyouton Kanki
Objective: A training simulation in which Kanki hones his skills with critical attack placement on a target, striking the vulnerable areas of the body.
A single kunai was thrown upwards, rotating in the air as it flipped end over end before resting once again in his grasp. The target was simple yet difficult at the same time, it was a dummy that fully represented the human body. Though at the moment the dummy was stationary, it was attached to a series of wires and ropes that would cause it to move momentarily however currently he was reflecting on the skills that he had learned through life and general anbu training. The human body was a very weak thing when truly thought about, so many vital points that could easily be targeted and taken down. As a hunter it was his job to recognize an be able to strike these points at any given moment with precision and accuracy. Primary veins and arteries, pressure points and even muscle groups and organs were all on his list, and he knew each point innately.
The dummy suddenly went into motion, swerving left and right, up and down between various obstacles. He had to track it's movements quickly and that was something that the Anbu branch focused on greatly, being able to keep your eye on the target and not loose it. One could say he had been given the ability to follow his targets physical movements whether natural or unnaturally enhanced which would translate into an easier time striking successfully and if the time came, the ability to ensure he did not suffer from being attacked.
The final keypoint in the skill set was being able to react before the target reacted, a subset of quickdraw. There was a general law of being a shinobi, that those who reacted first usually always held the advantage in various situations. Through numerous regiments of mental and physical training to the point where he could combine his passive abilities as a chakra sensor to act quickly with calculated actions. While it wasn't a perfected ability yet it was still one which increased Kanki's rating as an anbu agent and his skill nature. Using the initiative as the dummy had only been in movement, Kanki's actions went into motion rapidly firing the kunai quickly. After honing onto his target previously, his aim with the kunai was heightened and it suddenly curved superficially between two pillars, striking the dummy at the base of the neck, almost squarely embedding itself where the collarbone and throat overlapped.
