Today was a rough day, both physically and mentally draining, but for some reason, Kaji couldn't quite shake the feeling that it wasn't enough. So after having gone home to run it by his mother before returning, he returned to the academy grounds and got permission to pick up on some after hours training. He made his way down the halls, his shoes softly echoing through the well lit halls. He could vaguely see the silhouettes of teachers as they sat diligently grading their students' work for the day as he passed by. Kaji didn't linger long, and made his way to the library, where tall floor-to-ceiling shelves were filled with books. The place smelled of paper and it's must, new and old as he strolled along the isles. There, sitting on a tightly packed shelf in the non-fiction section was the book he had been looking for. It's title read, "Basic Anatomy, and Medicine for you.". Content with his find, he sat at a his table and began reading from a one of the early chapters. "There are three main types of bleeding; Arterial, venous, and capillary." , it read, "Arterial, is identified by bright red blood, seeming to spurt outwards from a wound in time with the pulse.". "Venous bleeding is characterized by slightly darker blood and weaker, similar to Arterial bleeding. "Capillary bleeding is non-threatening, usually found to be oozing darker reds". He read on for some time, diving head first into the chapters on fractures, sprains and splints. He learned the difference between opened and closed fracture, being that one breaks and stays inside the skin while on the opposite side, the bone breaks through the flesh. Kaji also learned about managing stroke and it's prevention. However, eventually his vision started to blur, so heavily that he decided to put down the book for the rest of the night since being bored wasn't very fun. He instead went to his locker and dressed before going to exercise and actually take a break.
Kaji began at first with some stretches, until he eventually had loosened up pretty well. He then moved on to some basic taijutsu exercises and trainings that he had read about. But the big thing for him was practicing the justu he had learned. So far he had learned two, one under fire style called thermal maw. And one under lightning style, called storm bolt....
