Toshi sat quietly while shrouded in the thick mist that rolled in. He kept his eyes closed while sitting Indian style. His visibility would be hindered by the thick mist fog, but there were other ways to view the field without his eyes. At times, the only training the boy needed was keeping his mind calm. Of course he had a few techniques he wanted to brush up on, but he placed the shinobi arts aside this time around.
While meditating the boy began visualizing himself fighting in a tournament for a promotion. He was preparing for his trip just pass the gates of the village, and his combat skills were something that he was confident in. It wasn't something that he feared, in fact, a good fight would be a great way to learn. Traveling alone was something that he was already ready for. There could be lots of danger beyond the gates, but Toshi was a brave one. Anyone that was trained in the shinobi arts, and was skilled enough to fend for themselves would be equipped to handle any danger beyond the gates. This would be a test for himself, a test that would reveal how much heart he had for the shinobi life. He didn't plan on quitting anytime soon.
'Stealth, precision, awareness, agility, quick thinking.' Toshi thought of what it took to hold his own in a battle. This training was great, but only the future knew of the boy's potential. Whether he learned anything new or there or not, he looked forward to the experience.
