Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Travel Rules
Important:
  • In order to travel to another country, you must make an exit post in the Outer Village Zone or the Village gates of the country you are in, using one of the below prefixes. You may then make an entry post anywhere in the country you are traveling to two hours later (one if you have a Half the Time card).
  • You must not have any ongoing threads in the country you are in. You cannot join new threads until your travel time is completed.
  • You cannot make a post within a village to enter/exit unless you are a member of that village. You must use an Outer Village Zone or the Village gates.
  • If you are entering/leaving a country that is not yours, a member of the village of that country may prevent your entry within two hours (one if you have a Half the Time card). by posting in the entry/exit topic to stop you. Otherwise you are able to post your arrival thread in the country you are moving to/start posting in the new country.
  • As long as you are in a country, you may join or create a thread anywhere in that country, with the following exceptions.
    • You may not join any modded threads begun prior to your arrival in the country. Modded threads are defined here specifically as 'threads that have a modded battle taking place.' Events are subject to the event moderator(s)' discretion.
    • You may not join another person's Contract Search thread without their permission to join.

Prefixes and topic titles
The following Prefixes are required when traveling between Inner Village or Outer Village Zones.
  • Non-Modded prefixes
    • Requesting Entry,
    • Requesting Exit,
  • Modded Prefixes
    • Forced Entry,
    • Forced Exit,

These must be present when interacting with the gates in a thread.

Area Types
Looking at the basic setup of all villages, there are 2 types of areas.
Inner Village
This is where the players within the village interact, it's split up between various different locales, most importantly in the case of traveling is the Village Gates (usually the top category within the Inner Village) This is where you post your leaving/entering request threads.

Outer Village Threads
Split up into different categories of unique areas outside of the village in the country proper, these are usually unique areas, or towns located in the country. Some great missions are sometimes occurring in that area in great plots and stories, not to mention the possible Contract beasts that are to be found out there as well.

Then there's the unique NPC Village and Countries areas
These are locales where usually you see Missing interacting, or unique missions and plots surrounding unaffiliated places.

Leaving And Entering Villages and Countries
Joe Ninja decides to leave his village.
Joe Ninja leaves Village A via the village Gate. [Requesting Exit] or [Forced Exit]
Joe Ninja goes from Country A Outer Village Area to Country B Outer Village Area. [Leaving Country], [Entering Country]
Joe Ninja goes from Country B Outer Village Area to Village B Gate. [Requesting Entry] or [Forced Entry].
Joe Ninja goes has now entered another village!

Going Missing, Force Entering and Force Exiting
Basic Rulings
  • You must use the appropriate prefix from the Travel Rules.
  • Any stopping player must use the [Catch] at the top or bottom of their post.
  • You cannot, for any reason, edit a post that includes a run time or is intercepting a run time user.
  • Going Missing uses the Travel Rules, including leaving all topics, use of prefix and timing.
  • Going Missing requires a Forced Exit of the player's village, or to call a B-mod on another player within a Inner Village Zone (not friendly duels, or catching runners).
  • Doing either of the above changes the Player's status into a Missing Nin at the completion of the topic, successful or not, and all Missing Nin rules apply.
  • Village Council's can decide to remove the Missing Nin Status from the player, but otherwise the ANBU have already reported it.
  • Going Missing threads may be created within the Inner Village Zones, but require a modded battle to have been called on another village player.
    • Doing so makes the Player calling the B-mod eligible for Forced Kill, but not the player they have called the Bmod on. (Unless they already were eligible, otherwise only the other choices, Spare, Victim's Choice apply.)
  • Multiple Players Going Missing at the same time doesn't stack the Travel Time.
    • For example, if 2 Players create a Going Missing thread, the Travel Time would be 2 hours(1 if they both have a Half the Time card)
  • Failure to follow these rules will Void the attempt.

[Catch]
Stopping a Forced Entry/Exiting player.
  • A complete RP must be posted by the player using the [Catch] tag, within the Travel Time.
  • Do not edit your catch post! If a [Catch] post is edited the post is voided.
  • There are Abilities that may have an affect on the Catch Time.
  • All players that make a valid post within the Travel Time will be included in the Modded Battle.
  • ]No other Players may join after the Travel Time unless they have been called into the topic as per the Battle rules.
