Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

He had turned on himself. His flames were out of control and he had become more of a threat to himself than anybody else as the seal she etched into his flesh overtook his mind and he descended into temporary madness. Power always did come at a price, even hers. The room had caught fire, the bodies would soon be reduced to ash and they would be no better off soon enough. She was certainly no phoenix and a blast of fire scalded her flesh and her dress caught fire. Her hands ran though an array of handseals, her bitter sweet song, truly a requiem filled the air. The snap and crackle of beams like kindling all around them, the roof had started to bow and was about to break.

Her blue eyes scanned the ceiling, she did not have much time. Her feeding grounds were about to be burned away. Madman or fool, the result would be the same.

If for whatever reason she has extra AP and is not able to perform her above actions, such as suppression or a short-lived bind that leaves her without the AP to finish her actions, Shiori will attempt to enter stealth after 8.5 Seconds into the round.
4.) If there is no offensive targets - Shiori rests until RP to drag him off.

Everything was falling apart and all hope seemed lost for this desolate place. This outpost would not stand against the flames of purgatory that exudes from Kaen. The bodies that had previously littered the floor were now turning to dust and ash under the intense heat of Kaen's fury. Even Kaen's own body would give to the intense heat of his jutsu, he was a detriment more to himself than the woman he so blindly sought after. The power that flowed from his chest, the seal of power she had bestowed upon him, had taken over his mind completely. So blind was his rage that he even directed his own attacks onto himself, causing severe third degree burns to form all over his body. The real fight or flight kicked in at this point, somehow the monster he had become knew that he would end up killing himself if he didn't take precautions. Sniffing the air he sensed some meds that lay within his pockets, he would then proceed to gobble them with haste in a last ditch effort to save himself before it was too late. He would go on the defensive, if only to buy him a little more time.

Teamwork
Once every other round, the user may perform a Sneak Attack without being dropped out of stealth. When making a stealth check, Terrain and Visibility modifiers are treated one level higher in the users favor. (Stalker)
The user is given a resistance check every round against Genjutsu as opposed to the normal round wait time. The user is always aware that they are in a Genjutsu unless the Genjutsu was treated as a Sneak Attack. This ability cannot be used with Willpower. (Clarity)
Fire - Chakra Style

Due to the difficulty of controlling their chakra, all ninjutsu and genjutsu cost 5% more. However, all fire based jutsu have a +2 critical range and hit for 2.5x normal damage on critical hits instead of 2.0x normal damage. (Explosive Chakra)
The user regains 2% Max Cp each round. This is increased to 4% Max Cp/Rnd when Mantle of Fire is active. (Warmth)

You did not have the AP to consume your third health pill because drawing (without quickdraw) costs AP. In theory I should have actually not allowed the Dragon Flame Bomb from going off because the pill consumption would have went off earlier in the stack, leaving you 0.5 AP short but it did not seem like a 'nice' thing to do, but in a kill battle that would not have happened.
You were taken from stealth with the jutsu clash because it is an attack. I did curiosity rolls to see what would have happened without the clash. The end result is the same, at a slightly later time with a bit more damage due to the sandworm also getting another strike on you.

Kaen was weak now, the pills he had consumed had little effect, buying him only seconds. The woman sent forth a massive maelstrom of twisting and spiraling winds towards him, he barely countered by raising a thick wall of flames at the last second. Surely had he not done so, the tornado force winds would have consumed him. Her pet wyrm was also relentless in its assault, Kaen was relatively quick, but sooner or later he was bound to slip up. Luckily he prepared for it and narrowly dodged the sandwyrms attack and secreted himself among the burning flames and beams. He was safe for now, panting heavily. He would consume another one of those pills, still having little effect. His vision faded in and out now, he wasn't going to make it much longer. Her demon was searching for him, but could not find him. The fire may have burned him this day, but this current second it was his ally, hiding him from sight.

It was then that he heard it, the roaring flames of a rushing comet like ball of fire hurdling towards the earth. It seemed his aim was off and it was coming straight for him and not his intended target... there was no time to move, he was going to be consumed if he did not act quickly. The only thing that came to his mind was to fight fire with fire. Kaen looked skyward towards the blazing orb of doom and took a deep breath. Weaving some signs he relinquished a twisting dragon head made of fire that clashed with his own sol fire jutsu. The dragon and ball had their own metaphorical battle, but in the end the dragon could not compete with his overcharged sol fire. The ball of fire crashed down upon him, leaving him scorched and weaker than ever before. It seemed, however, that his flaming dragon put out most of the fire damage before it collided with him. The after effect cleared a sizeable area around him, revealing his hiding place to the trio before him.

The woman wasted no time in seizing her opportunity. She seemed to almost take pleasure in her discovery and let loose a massive concussive force of wind that sent Kaen flying backwards where he collided with numerous beams, walls and debris before landing outside the facility. He had gone unconscious before he even hit the ground, the toll on his body was just too great. Kaen's body laid unprotected, still sizzling from the burning flames that were still burning his clothes. The world had gone black, his rage extinguished. His time had run out, we can only hope that the woman takes pity on him and sees him as a moldable tool or weapon and less a raging uncontrollable monster... Only time will tell.

The maddened pyromanaic attempted to preserve itself the only way that he could: by erecting barriers and taking to the darkness. However, fire would soon rain from the heavens as a large ball of fire would threaten to level him where he stood, bloodied and barely standing with some fight left. She would search through the haze, gusts of wind would shriek and cut on past him, splintering the support beams that has already crashed onto the ground. Burning embers would be unsettled and like a flock a fireflies dot the darkness but never light a path. The searing winds were making it hard to breathe, smoke is not only deadly for humans but even beings such as her. She needed to get out of here SOON.

When the comet landed, it cleared the burning furniture and left a crater where the floor should have been. He had tried to hold back his own attack and for the most part he succeeded. The heat came out in stifling painful waves. It was getting darker, the obscurity of the inferno was still making it hard to see. Her eyes burned and she could not see, she could however hear. She was looking for him, she needed to take him down before he could regroup. Where was he? She would then hear it, a sound. Her ears were more sensitive than most, she could hear the churning of his stomach and the beat of his heart. It would pound relentlessly but it was often lost behind the crackle of the inferno that he created as the setting of their battle. But then he drew close enough, there was a momentary gap in the white noise and she would see him briefly. In her sonar, his face was as clear as day but there were only shades of grey.

"There you are..." she would mutter as her hands ran through a rapid array and a screaming wind would break through not only the flames but the burning structure and eventually the maddened young man. He would fall to the floor, a dull thud that was almost lost in the other noise. She would walk through the heat and smoke and ash to find a bloodied, soot-covered ginger unconscious on the floor. She would drag him, the only survivor out of the burning building. It would be a long, arduous trek to the nearest village: Sora.
