Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Alright, let's drop some info here. Mainly just wanting to clarify and keep track of my Major and Minor affinities.

I have Fire as a major from D and C rank (freebie)
Lightning as a minor (Freebie from C rank)
Kinetic Genjutsu as a Minor due to mastering half the jutsu

1)Clarity

Arata has been involved with Genjutsu ever since he was young. Because of this Arata knows quite a bit about it. This knowledge of Genjutsu is due to the Uchiha learning plenty of Genjutsu for himself so he recognizes most effects of Genjutsu. Arata has a better chance of noticing the difference between reality and a Genjutsu just by how unreal some things are and due to reading handsigns. Handsigns are used for anything Genjutsu or ninjutsu related and by studying the difference between the signs Arata can notice if something is truly a Genjutsu or if it's just reality.

2)Quick Reactions

Arata has always been quick on his feet. Not just that he was fast, but he could react to things faster. He wasn't the strongest physically or the most enduring, but he could react and get out of the way of harmful things quickly and even counter attack. Could this be because his brain processes what he sees faster or something? Arata didn't know the cause but he could tell he moved a bit faster than his peers, always seeming to be the one that was able to move first. Arata wasn't jumpy or anything, it's just he could process what was happening and move quicker.

3)Duelist

Of course for Arata fighting one opponent was easier than two or more. Arata was able to be much more precise with his attacks since he didn't have to worry about some outside interference from a teammate. He was also able to read his sole opponent easier and find ways to counter their style of fighting as this was much harder to do when having to study multiple opponents. Overall Arata was much more precise battling a single combatant over multiple opponents. Without having to worry about being flanked by somebody else or having to deal with multiple attacks at once it was easier to dodge and his attacks were able to hit their mark more often.

4)Shattered Reality

Arata has been working with Genjutsu for a few years and training with his father helped him pick up a few tricks. One of them was abruptly ending a Genjutsu and with the sudden end of the Genjutsu crashing down on the opponent it ended up doing a bit of damage to them. First off he needs to get them under a Genjutsu or even multiple Genjutsu. Then if he chooses the Genjutsu just abruptly ends. The sudden shock to the person from the Genjutsu ending deals a bit of damage which could prove quite useful in a fight for Arata.

5)Jutsu Master

Arata knows his jutsu inside out, especially with how much he practices with a jutsu. He doesn't practice until he gets it right, he practices until he can't get it wrong. Take for example the Fireball jutsu. While it isn't very complicated it's easy to mess up if you don't know how to do it right. However thanks to Arata's long nights of practicing it, he can do it with ease. The handsigns are memorized perfectly and the proper amount of chakra to put into it was well. Arata has got it so to a tee that he is able to save some of his chakra, finding he can put a little less in and get the same results.

6)Mind Overflow

Being a skilled illusionist Arata has learned to make his Genjutsu even more deadly. He is able to overlap multiple Genjutsu on a person and mentally strain them to the point that they're simply more vulnerable. Whether it be a Genjutsu, ninjutsu, or even Taijutsu, Arata is capable of dealing a bit more damage to the target due to the mental strain they have on them self which causes them to be just that much more vulnerable than they normally are. Arata of course would take advantage of this as this could potentially make or break the outcome of a fight.

7)Combat Instinct

Arata isn't below taking advantage of the circumstances. After time goes by in battle his opponent gets more tired which in turn they get more sloppy. He is able to capitalize on their openings easier as more tend to show up as battle goes on. The more injured his opponent gets, the more openings they have, the sloppier they get, and the better Arata gets as well. In a drawn out fight Arata gets even deadlier. The more hurt his opponent is, the more he can capitalize on their shortcomings. To his opponents Arata seems to be getting faster and sharper, able to dodge attacks better and his attacks being more accurate. That may be the case, or perhaps they're just getting slower.

8)Adrenaline Rush

While some get worn out and tired as battle goes on, Arata is able to push himself beyond. For a few moments at a time Arata is able to heighten his senses, becoming more accurate, precise, faster even. This is his adrenaline kicking in, or is it endorphins? Because of this while others are tired from the effects of battle Arata can push himself further, victory just being within his grasp. All he has to do is reach out and grab it. This sudden spike of energy maybe enough to put his opponent of guard and secure victory for himself.

9) Lightning Style

Everybody has their own distinct style, Arata is no different. The Uchiha's is based off of the element of lightning, something he uses rather frequently and is also his favorite element. Since he uses it so much Arata decided to base his style around it and also include his speed with it. Lightning itself is known to be quick and Arata was rather quick himself so it complimented the style. The more Arata used lightning style techniques then the quicker he'd increase his pace, this allowed him to avoid attacks better, strike faster, and perform jutsu of the element better.

Free slot: Shinobi 101

While Arata was better at ninjutsu and genjutsu he figured having poor taijutsu would bring him down. That's why instead of learning and practicing all forms of taijutsu along with ninjutsu and genjutsu it would be easier to instead master one form of taijutsu, unarmed combat. Arata figured he would use this the most often as he frequently used ninjutsu and genjutsu as well which for ninjutsu was much harder to perform while wielding weapons. So by learning unarmed taijutsu he could still be a master of it as it was his focus out of all the forms of taijutsu.
