Versatile Arms: Eiji through his years of combat training and understanding, worked himself to be a tactician when it came to combat without using his chakra and handseals. He wanted to be efficient in all forms of combat. So much so that he even picked up Genjutsu. However, in terms of weaponized combat, Eiji was versatile, being able to switch from blades and swords to bare knuckles. He had even made a bladed wristband that would extend when ever he was ready for slicing and dicing. He'd gotten very elaborate with his weapon designs and it helped that he was adept at forging and blacksmithing to a degree.

Quickdraw: Eiji had always tried to be the physically fastest. But it was never meant to be. He wore armor that tended to hinder his movements. However, finding that he could down scale the armor but still get a huge boost to his body's ability to react and surmise the feelings that he would get from time to time. He could fixate himself on quickly moving himself from position to position and quickly responding to threats with precision and accuracy. So he developed a quickness of drawing his weaponry to always have his hands ready to go toe to toe with any enemy he came across.
[3]
Quick Reaction: Eiji always had an adeptness for being quick on his feet, even with the link to earth normally causing shinobi to be more grounded in their combat styles, Eiji found it within himself to always be prepared to react instead of being in the position to being proactive. It was like being a good counter puncher in boxing. The ability to dodge and then react with an effective strike of your own. Something had to be said about the abilities to do such things and not get off your strategy, but being able to mold it in the moment depending on what you were doing and who you were fighting.

Weapon Mastery: Unarmed: The now Jounin of Kumogakure, seemingly enjoyed the best way of fighting when he had to spar being without weapons. His spars with kids in his classes to teammates in his squad would tell you that there was something about Eiji when he didnt have anything in his hands being more dangerous with anything in his hands. It was immpeccable to see that he was able to insist himself on opponents with relative ease with just his fists. He was also able to string together techniques that wouldnt normally be seen placed together. This is what made him quite the foe. Maybe not the strongest but definitely one of the smarter ones within Kumogakure. Especially, since he would want to rival Aya in the department of best at hand to hand combat within their direct squad.

Earth - Chakra Style: Mastery of Earth Ninjutsu seemed to always be apart of Eiji's mind. His body was growing more accustomed to using earth chakra even when he wasnt thinking about it. Though, he knew that he would have more to gain with the likes of mastering Earth fully. In this, he could now give his body a layer of stone to suppress his opponents and foes as they came into contact with him,
'Tch, I got something for Aya now... Heh', thinking to himself as he would prep himself for the inevitable spar that they would have. Remembering when Ryuichi and her attacked him in Uri's class... he would begin making contingencies against them both.
[6]
Will Power: Eiji's training... changed him over time. He'd begun becoming competitive. Wanting to out do Aya and Ryuich, the latter of which was his roommate in the Tea House for ANBU. His personal training, when he wasnt doing chores and working in the teahouse, was all spent in solitude. Quiet. With this he was able to overcome alot of different ailments within him. His Laziness slowly withered away and finally he found himself at peace. The ambition gained through his defeats seemed to allow him to gain perspective though circumstance. Eiji trained his mind so much on learning genjutsu that one would think he would be better than he was... but his chakra nature and control were not up to par with those that mastered the intrusion of the mind. Though... He had grown enough to break out of any genjutsu that he may come up against...

Sage Mode:
Through time Eiji and Sumi worked together learning more about each other's styles. They needed to work in tandem with one another very well, but it was something that Eiji would have to learn being that Sumi had skills that exceeded Eiji's skills. Though, Eiji wouldnt be able to learn Sumi's abilities without learning about pooling his ability to harness the energies of the world around them. Sumi knew how to do it... but it wasnt something that he cared for. Eiji however, needed that link to learn Sumi's jutsu... and after a month of learning how to harness it, he would master it to the best of his abilities. However, storing it up wouldnt mesh well with the chakras of the guardians. It kept him from completely mastering it...
Thus would be the edge of his ability. Partial Sage Mode as Sumi called it. It gave Eiji some of the abilities to be able to hold his breath even longer under water allowing him to do things that he normally wouldnt be able to do. Deep diving and even moving in the water faster and more elegant than before. He'd also be stronger... but he could only hold it for small spurts at a time. So it wasnt the best thing to do... but it helped him if he used it early in bouts... or to sustain his chakra levels.

Main Branch Style: Eiji now being a Jounin Rank and stepping up in his duties would take on the tasks of understanding how the Main Branch worked. He was essentially the only active duty Jounin in the ranks aside from some newly promoted ones. To he would take it upon himself to learn the styles and what was expected of him as a Journeyman Jounin. As such, he fought his way into figuring things out. The ability to move with fluidity and change things up to adapt was a specialty of the Main branch. Which worked perfectly for Eiji, he wasnt one to settle into one style, but he would change things up to keep opponents on their toes. Thusly putting himself in a position to figure out their weaknesses faster and more effectively.
[9]
Calm Mind: Becoming a Sage was hard enough, being able to tap into that source within the world and the secrets within that realm. Eiji would push himself to be more laid back. Calm. Concise. Something told him that the powers he held within him... those of the deities. His guardians. The power they give him normally overpowers what his body can take. Taking over his mind with the jolt of chakra that he cannot control. Due to this, he would meditate with Aleister, the deity that was brought to him by Musashi. With that training, he would take into account the abilities now to protect himself and his village to the best of his abilities. He would do it with a sound mind and calm spirit.
