History: Ryuuto had spent the majority of his young life in service to the Village Hidden in the Clouds. As a child with no family he was adopted into a household of Nara where his oldest brother Ryuujin and sister Kotaza helped give him a happy and healthy childhood. Many events would help shape the young boy into the man that would eventually become the 5th Raikage of Kumogakure. While his heart was never in the political or clerical aspects of the job, he was a passionate fighter and noble warrior that served loyally up until the final days of the Demon Invasions of Cloud.

Few knew the role Aion had played in helping the village ascend above the clouds, but he had too shaped one of its future rulers from his earlier years. So too did Kizoku Takao, another of the village's most infamous figures in its history. Together they passed him through his earlier exams and allowed him access to the ANBU Corps where he would take over the entire branch in under a short year, his military prowess and field tactics brilliant for his age. It would be in this position that he would meet the woman who would later become his wife, Taji Yuki. Through their endeavors, they helped grow the village into a prosperous time.

Then the clouds turned dark and maws from another world opened up and brought havoc upon the village. It would be in this time that Ryuuto earned his reputation as a myth among the Kumogakure people as he managed the war from the front line against these demonic invaders. This event would nearly claim his life, but in the process they had managed to fend off the attack and cast them back into the pit they had crawled out of. In the coming months he would spend time recovering from his wounds, but it was also when he had received a most cryptic vision that would determine his fate. There had been foreboding messages delivered to him that warned of the demons returning in the future, seeking out his blood and the blood of his kin. It was when he learned that his wife was with child that he decided they must leave to protect their family, but also the village. While it was a chance to start life anew with his growing family, it would also be spent in isolation and preparation for the inevitable future. If he did not believe in the strength of the village, he would not have left on the terms that he did.

The Hyakurai reside on the border of Wind and Rain Country, where Ryuuto, Yuki, and their two children live on a modest piece of land and spend their time aiding their neighboring countries. During this three decade stint away from Lightning Country, Ryuuto had spent much time within the confines of Wind Country where much turmoil reigned. During this time he had put forth effort in aiding Sunahoshi Hiro and his steward, Takahashi Judori. Later Ryuuto's Wife, Yuki, too joined when the Plague Wars began and they were in dire need of medical expertise. During much of this unrest, Ryuuto helped act as an adviser and strategist. He had strongly disagreed with sinking the village beneath the Sands, but was inevitably overruled by reigning Kazekage and Council.

After the Plague wars had come to a conclusion, both Hyakurai, Ryuuto and Yuki, returned home and allowed Sand to rebuild themselves underground where they would have a long peace time. Judori, the former Steward before Sousuke, had kept in contact via letters. Ryuuto also had a strong relationship with those at Deadline due to his more open-minded ways of thinking and worked hard at gaining allies for the inevitable return to Lightning Country and the impending war for the fate of Lightning Country.
