***~~~---Genin Chronicles Day 6---~~~***
Their eyes stared out at nothing and Shiroike's eyes were fixed on them. The monument to the previous Hokage's were magnificent, something only those who had mastered the art of earth jutsu could create, or perhaps a sculptor with a lot of time. Shiroike was here to burn their images into his mind. He knew the stories of each of them but it helped him visualize how they would have moved and done what they did to look at their faces.
There was much he read into those faces. The face of the first reminded him of the stories told about his final conviction, when the samurai invaded Leaf and how the first Hokage fought them. The tales were told of his bravery when the village needed it the most, but other tales told of someone who normally didn't take things too seriously. Shiroike found it interesting how someone who had been thought of previously as so carefree could show his true nature when most under threat. People would have thought that he would have left to save his own life, but instead he fought for them. Perhaps that was why the expression on the first's face was serious, unlike how his nature had been defined for the majority of his life, his true nature was found and now was etched in stone.
Shiroike wondered what his true nature would be like when he was placed under that pressure, when a time came where he had to come through and force him to make a choice, what would his choice be?
Behind his thick dark sunglasses which helped him see in this light, he stood there staring and dreaming.
