Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Physical
Though Nenogami may be ten-years-old, she looks to be eighteen. Her two birth parents' blood is tainted with the power of the Tadashii gods, making her body mature faster than normal. It's expected that she'll start aging slower now that she's matured to adulthood. Her eyes are two different colors, her left eye being green and her right being red, which are common eye colors of the Yamazaki and Faita clan respectively. Her hair is also black at the root, black hair being the common hair color of the Faita clan, and then as the hair grows it turns red, the common hair color of the Yamazaki clan. Since her encounter in the underground temple, her appearance has become a bit strange (but nothing more unusual than what most shinobis have seen). A key sits inside her head, keeping her inner darkness from unleashing itself. On her back rests a large key shaped creature whom she uses as a weapon when the situation calls for it, a giant chain binds the creature to her back so she's stuck with him anyway. Believing that clothing would constrict her too much, Nenogami instead wraps her body in a thick wrap that covers her chest and her lower half. The lower half always take the form of a skirt. This form of attire shows off the form of her body perfectly, though there's not much to look at: An average sized chest, athletic build, and good sized butt (if you're into that sort of thing).

Mental
Nenogami has the personality of a ten-year-old mixed with the personality of an adult who's gone through many troubling times. She still likes to play games and her imagination likes to go wild, even in battle she treats it as a game. She tends to be anti-social to anyone except her family but at the same time she enjoys playing games with anyone that will play with her. On the inside she constantly craves human companionship, but she's normally too afraid to try to make conversation with anyone.
Besides that she's mentally unstable for a few reasons:
1. She has a lose grip on reality and will sometimes imagine events that take place differently. For example, she may see someone dressed as and posing as a superhero if they do something heroic or if she looks up to them, or even if she really looks up to them and just starts daydreaming.
2. She sometimes forgets that she's actually a child, or that she looks like an adult, and when reminded of either she gets upset or may even throw a tantrum. It depends on the situation and her mood.
3. She's constantly haunted by the impulse to turn the key in her head to unleash her darker split-personality…
The key in her head stops the dark side of her from surfacing, but if it's turned she turns into a bloodthirsty killing machine. Nenogami can turn the key using her mind, and so can the key-shaped creature on her back, but the only way for someone else to turn it is to be inside her body (the only known method for which is the Yamanaka body switch technique), to control her body to make her turn it, or to physical grab the key and turn it. This dark side knows no mercy, and pain only gives her pleasure. This side of her personality is limited, however, and after being turned the key slowly returns to the locked position.

History
When the Universe was young
It's believed that the universe was once vast nothingness. The Tadashii believe that this is not true, they hold onto the belief that before the universe was there was a strong power flowing through the nothingness. Then, the power became so great that it caved in on itself and imploded. The power created the universe, as well as everything in it. It also created the gods, Ai and Itami. They call this power the "Creation". The Creation allowed Ai and Itami to be created, and in turn they created the other gods and goddesses, their brothers and sisters. They possessed physical forms that reigned over the world, but they grew bored of their existence. They wanted other living beings that they could rule over, so they decided to create humans on earth.
In doing so, they created all life as we know it. They created humans and animals as well as plants. They used a large amount of power to make earth inhabitable, and were forced into a dark void that kept them from holding physical bodies in that world. This disability was created by the Creation once the power realized that their own power was too great. It was locked away and sent to earth where it was locked away in a cave under Suna where the Tadashii temple was built. Only the power of Ai and Itami in one physical form could open the cave, but not even the gods could fathom how this could be possible. The Tadashii believed that one day someone would lead them into war, to spread peace across the land. They called this person the Warmachine, the person whom most of the Council believed to be one Faita Tasogare.

Yamazaki and Faita
However, my story goes back shortly before Suna was even a thought. Back before the Tadashii had knowledge of synching with the gods. A man by the name Faita Chi, greedy with power, destroyed the original temple altar that held the power of the gods. Their chakra shot out into the sky in various colors, the last one being the strongest of them all. It was a bright crimson red, and with it came the power of Itami. Itami has always been known as the most powerful of the Tadashii gods. Chi's greed got the best of him and he jumped into the beam of chakra to absorb its power, but his power didn't make him stronger. It made him sick and he died years later after his wife gave birth to their first child. This started generations of sealing the Faita children with special cursed marks to restrain Itami's power until they were old enough to handle it.
Many centuries later the Faita clan met the Yamazaki clan for the first time with the friendship of Faita Jiyū and Yamazaki Ō. Jiyū was a great fighter in his time, but when his ideals for war weren't fully appreciated he left the village of Sunagakure. In his travels he came across Yamazaki Ō and together they formed a great team. Shortly after Jiyū returned to his old religious practices which made Ō upset. When Jiyū died, shortly after releasing the Faita Seal to gain access to Itami's power, Ō traveled to Sunagakure to meet up with his wife. There he stumbled upon the Tadashii temple in the desert that used to hold the power of the gods. There he accidentally stumbled upon the power of the Goddess known as Ai, infecting the Yamazaki clan with her power. Though her power was not as dangerous as Itami's, this kept them from having to seal it.

WARMACHINE
The Warmachine is said to bring upon the final war, opening the Cave of the gods and giving them back their physical forms. Then the gods would lead the Tadashii into peace, at least their own twisted version of it. The Warmachine needs the power of both Itami and Ai in one, physical form to unlock the door. The Creation made it this way because it wanted the door to stay locked. It took centuries for the two clans to meet up again, with the meeting of Yamazaki Zoi and Faita Tasogare. That meeting brought upon a child who possessed both powers. That child was named Nenogami, that child was me. Child of Faita Tasogare and Yamazaki Zokuppoi.

Early Years
I was raised by wolves. Well, to be fair it was only one and he was my father. His name is Faita Tasogare, and he wasn't always a wolf. I was born of the Faita and Yamazaki bloodlines, making me prime potential for being the Warmachine. The joining of Faita Tasogare and Yamazaki Zokuppoi made the high council leader, known only as Shadow, particularly certain that it was I who would have the mixed powers of Itami and Ai. They both showed early signs of the gods' powers in them, and not long after my birth I did, too. I've always had two different colors of eyes. My left eye being green, like that of the Yamazaki, and my right eye being red, the normal eye color for most Faita, led to Shadow kidnapping me at an early age.
In the desert there was a fight between the Shadow and my father, this much I know. What I do not know are any of the specifics. During the fight my father was somehow transformed into a wolf that has the same exact appearance of Itami's creature form, the form that gods and goddesses can take that isn't remotely human in nature. The family believes this is somehow related to the fact that he had Itami sealed inside his body. Regardless of how it happened I'm just happy he was alive to watch me grow up, but not as happy that he got to see what I became in life.
"Are you going to be a Medical-nin when you grow up, Nenogami?" I remembered my uncle asking me when I was four. "Your father was a medic." I never knew much about my father before his transformation, except the little things that came up in conversation. My uncle Jin was Tasogare’s older brother, and he was noticeably proud of his brother despite his shortcomings. My mother was even more of a mystery. She fled the village soon after I was born and left me to be raised by my father, who was soon turned into a wolf, and the rest of the Faita clan. This did not debilitate me, however; in fact it made me stronger.

Academy
The Faita clan is full of warriors, the very name 'Faita' means 'fighter'. They taught me how to fight and trained me at the same time as I trained in the academy. I took to my skills quickly, but never advanced beyond anyone. I was a quick leaner, but never a prodigy. I tried not to stick out; I didn't want to be known. I was always alone and didn't have many friends outside of the family. In fact you could say I had… None.
Nothing of significant importance happened in the academy. It was a normal life, save for having a wolf as a father. My genin exam was quite important however, as it was during the exam that I woke something dreadful inside me for the first time. When I was born I had a seal placed on me that was similar to that of the Faita seal, but instead they called it the Yokusei seal. It was different from the Faita seal in that it was much more powerful. However, like the Faita Seal the Yokusei seal had its dangerous side-effects.
The ink used to create the Faita seal is laced with a poison that is supposed to suppress the chakra in the body to keep the essence of the god Itami from leaking out and enveloping the undeveloped family member. The Yokusei uses a stronger version of this which was made to suppress the essence of two godly entities, which would be that of Itami and Ai. The ink used in these two seals very often messes with the mind of the bearer, created a split personality of sorts. This split personality is always dark and mentally unstable…
The exam was simple enough, a test of all the skills we had learned during our time at the academy. Our exam instructor was a mad woman by the name of Sunaku Ame, an old friend of the Faita family (which consists of mostly Sunaku). She was a master of Genjutsu, and she used that Genjutsu prowess on us to put us in a large maze of sand. I was never good at Genjutsu so I didn't realize that we were even in one at first, I thought for sure that she had created it all out of sand. Though when I finally caught onto the act, it made her power in Ninjutsu seem so much less than what I thought it was. I couldn't even imagine created a maze like this with Ninjutsu.
The object of the maze was to use our skills to get to the middle of the maze, dodging various obstacles in our paths. Some obstacles teleported us to random locations, some of them involved walls shifting around us. Some of the difficulties were creatures made of sand emerging from the wall. I was having difficulty finding the middle of the maze, and it was the first excessive amount of frustration I had felt my whole life. I didn't realized how sheltered I really was until that point, having a rich family clan giving me whatever I want. I also never had any particular problems doing any homework or learning new techniques.
When put into a situation where I had to think on my feet, I realized that I wasn't as prepared as I thought I was. I dropped to my knees as I realized how pathetic I was. Then it happened; my breathing became labored, my body began to shake, and I felt my body burning on the inside. The darkness came out for the first time. I stood up and my eyes glowed their separate colors. I raised my hand, acting almost on impulsive without any thought going into my actions. I felt energy coming into my body, like I was draining chakra from the surrounding area.
Everything in the maze was an illusion, created by Ame's chakra. This distorted the illusion as I drained Ame's chakra, the walls began to crumble until there was a path straight to the middle. I walked it slowly and watched the other students who had made it there already. They were confused because they believed I hadn't woken any inner abilities, and so did I. When I hit the center Ame broke the illusion and we were all standing in a class room. Ame took me away and into another room. She was angry, or scared.
"What happened, kid?" she asked me in a stern voice. I was scared for sure; I didn't know what happened or how to answer her.
"I-I don’t know. I'm scared, Sensei…" I was only six-years-old, they let me into the academy because my ancestry made me look like I was twelve. No one knew my true age, so it probably seemed strange that I started bawling like a six-year-old.
"Nenogami, you acted strange, like someone that I grew up with… A man named Faita Tasogare." She said my father's name and my crying slowed down. It didn't seem like she suspected anything, just that she was making an observation. As she pondered about this I bolted out the door, she yelled after me but didn't give chase. I later found out that she passed me, but I didn't feel like I passed. It wasn't me that got to the center, it was something else. A secret power I knew nothing about.

Between then and now
My life as a genin was boring. I was put on a cell with people I didn't like and who didn't like me. I was okay with that. I didn't need any friends anyway, I had my family. I spent most of my time going on missions with my cell, little things that made no difference. My Uncle Jin raised me for the most part, but he never did anything Tasogare didn't want. If he did my father would growl, or even bite him in the butt with his sharp teeth. I'm sure if father could communicate he would have been able to raise me officially, but he was always there for me and helped me train as a sparring partner (even though he couldn't use jutsu).
After my Chuunin exam I got more involved with the Tadashii. Being the WarMachine meant they wanted me to take over leadership of the whole religious order. I spent a lot of my time in the underground temple, being trained to take over when I became a Jounin. They knew it would be some time before I could open the door, but they were preparing me (as well as themselves) for that day. Until then I was brought up by my Uncle Jin to be the new leader. My father was the previous leader, but after being turned into a wolf his brother took over to fill the spot until my father's next of kin (me) became a Jounin and was able to take the spot.
It was also during this time that one of the most important pats of my life happened. I lost control in the meeting room at the center of the temple during a session; Jin reacted quickly and tried to suppress the darkness by activating the Yokusei seal on the small of my back. The seal didn't work, though, it just made it worse. It was the poison that was used to make the seal's ink, without anyone knowing, the seal was pumping the poison into my body—More and more every time someone activated it. My eyes turned completely black and I began to go on a rampage, unknowingly sapping the chakra of everyone in the room.
I acted like a mad woman but I wasn't thinking. I my mind was blank and I was acting on impulse. They realized that the seal wasn't enough to control the impulses and had to resort to more drastic sealing methods. It was a technique that allowed the mind to be shut off to certain things by placing a key inside their head that can only be turned by the bearer of the key. They used the technique to seal off the part of my brain that held the darkness, the split personality that was created by the poison. They key wasn't enough, they had to attach a secondary control mechanism just in case my emotions caused the darkness to be able to turn the key itself.
They attached a large key to my back. They said the key was connected to me via my own chakra and could feel what I felt, and I would be able to feel what it felt. It was able to access my mind and shut the darkness off if it every unlocked itself. If unlocked by me the key would be able to lock the darkness away before I went too far and did something I wouldn't want to be done (such as killing an innocent). It was a big change for me, and it made people look at me differently. Strange things were normal in the shinobi world, but this was a bit different I suppose. I couldn't understand it; I was just a little girl, even if I looked older.

Jounin
I became a Jounin one year, three months, and twenty-two days after my chuunin exam. After ranking up I attended my ceremony to become the leader of the Tadashii and with my leadership finalized there was more for me to do. I decided to try and become less anti-social, and attempt to be more use in the village. It was only a matter of time before everything would come crashing down on me, and I didn't know how I would handle it if I was s alone. My family can only help me so much.

Chakra Attuned
Chakra Retainer - Passive (2 points)
An Attuned ninja has almost complete control over their own chakra flow, and through hard training they learn how to retain it within themselves. There is no force that can remove chakra from the control of the Attuned, not an absorption jutsu, a hungry bug, or anything else.
Effect: Attacks that drain or remove chakra from the Attuned are completely ineffective.

One-Handed Seals - Passive (2 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up
A ninja who is properly Chakra Attuned is able to produce the correct amounts of chakra even with an incomplete seal. With extreme practice and their natural talent for manipulating chakra, they can learn the ability previously thought to be exclusive to a bloodline clan.
Effect: The user is able to perform all Jutsu handseals with one hand.

Conservation - Passive (3 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up
Through repeated use and training with the lower level techniques, the attuned ninja learns the best ways to manipulate their chakra in order to produce the desired effects. They are able to cast weaker jutsu for a much smaller cost than an average ninja would.
Effect: -15% Ninjutsu cost.

Pressure - Passive (3 points)
The Chakra Attuned can warp not only their own chakra to be efficient, but the opponent's to be much less efficient. The problem is that this can backfire, hitting allies as well.
Effect: All others in battle with the user take 20% extra CP to cast a jutsu. Does not work on other Chakra Attuned ninja.

Normalize - Passive (2 points)
Chakra Attuned users like to say their chakra is pure, rather than twisted toward one particular element. Some of them take this to extremes, making their chakra tuned toward no elements at all.
Effect: All elemental attacks become non-elemental and purely chakra-based, and gain +10% damage. This allows them to cut through all elemental damage reduction.

Spirit Boost - Boost (2 points)
Restriction- Can be purchased twice
A Chakra Attuned ninja's prowess with Ninjutsu is not to be underestimated. Their skill with it is unparalleled, and is not limited to any one specific element.
Effect: +10% Ninjutsu damage.

Energy Boost - Boost (3 points)
Restriction- Can be purchased three times
A Chakra Attuned ninja tends to have slightly more chakra to work with than the average, being that they tend to work with it more often than others.
Effect: +6 to CP modifier.

Jutsu Expert - Modification (2 points)
Restriction- Must have Jutsu Mastery
A Chakra Attuned ninja is extremely efficient with their chakra, especially with jutsu they are also skilled with. They are even more adept at this than other practitioners of the skill.
Effect: 10% Chakra reduction is changed to 15%.

Chakra Vacuum - Jutsu (1 point)
Restriction- A-Rank and up
A fearsome technique that can only be used by those with an absolute mastery over chakra molding, such as the Chakra Attuned. The Chakra Vacuum is just that, a technique which sucks chakra out of everything nearby and pulls it into the user. This attack is strongest when there are multiple targets surrounding the caster, so that they can feed off of all of them at once. Once this jutsu is activated, the user cannot move at all, needing to maintain total concentration, and if they do the jutsu will be disrupted.
Rank 2: Absorbs 1500 chakra from all nearby ninja every round. Lasts a maximum of 4 rounds
Cost: 3 AP, 1250 CP/round

Oppurtunist
Sneak Attack - Passive (3 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up
Many honor-bound fighters will make sure that their opponent is ready and aware before beginning a fight. Not so with the Opportunist. A turned back is an open target for them, a chance they don’t dare pass up.
Effect: All the user's attacks have a 10% chance of being a Sneak Attack. All Sneak attacks gain +1 Critical and deal x2.5 damage upon a Critical hit; this does not stack with other critical damage modifiers.

Shadow Step - Passive (2 points)
Embracing the shadows, opportunists are adept in the art of covert fighting. They remain hidden from their victims until the moment they strike and even then leave their victims wondering where the attacker came from...and where they went.
Effect: The user has a 30% chance at remaining in Stealth after performing a Sneak Attack. Once per round, the user may make a Sneak Attack without being dropped out of Stealth; this may only be done three times per battle.

Sniper - Modification (2 points)
Restriction- Requires Called Shot
When attacking an enemy by surprise, they cannot react, cannot cover there weaknesses. In that moment, it is extremely easy to hit vital areas. Taking advantage of this, an Opportunist can hit any chosen area with surprising ease.
Effect: When making called shots while in Stealth mode, The user suffers no accuracy penalty.

Slippery Mind - Passive (3 points)
As used to their own tricks as they are, it's very difficult to fool an Opportunist with other tricks and illusions. So, too, is it more difficult to put them under Genjutsu than the average ninja.
Effect: +2 to Genjutsu Save and awareness rolls.

Feint - Dependent Special Move (2 points)
Sometimes a fast attack isn't always the best attack. An Opportunist can prime themselves to strike at exactly the right moment for maximum effect.
Effect: The user may add a stealth check to one of their melee attacks; if successful, it is treated as a Sneak Attack, otherwise it is used normally. This may only be done once per round successfully.

Combat Roll - Independent Special Move (3 points)
A true Opportunist can turn a life-threatening situation into a potential win with a simple movement. The risk involved is only part of the fun--and, of course, the deception.
Effect: The user gains +3 Dodge to the next attack aimed at them. Should they dodge, they may immediately strike the attacker at +1 Accuracy and +10% Damage. If they Are hit, they take +15% Damage and a partial hit is treated as full. Multi-hitting jutsu must inflict at least more the 50% of its maximum damage.

Quick Step - Boost (3 points)
Restriction- Can be purchased up to three times
Opportunists have mastered the art of precision attacking, knowing just when and how to catch the opponent off-guard with their attacks. It is very difficult into tricking one with your movements, masters as they are in the art of it already.
Effect: +3 accuracy

Flash Counter - Jutsu (2 points)
Restriction- A-Rank and Up
This jutsu is the ultimate counterattack; defensive and offensive at the same time, leaving no openings and at the same time exploiting all of the enemy’s openings. In the blink of an eye, the user can evade any attack and appear behind the enemy, attacking immediately with utter impunity.
Rank 2: The user automatically dodges the next attack directed at them and appears behind the attacker. The user may then strike with 6 Basic Strikes or attack with any E-C Taijutsu for 1 AP less. These attacks count as sneak attacks, and cannot be countered, detected, or auto-dodged.

Cost: 2,500 Cp; 2.5 Ap

A Dark, forbidden technique that has been created in many forms, secretly developed throughout the shinobi world in an attempt to gain special powers normally unacquirable by normal means. Whether it be a country's attempt to steal the kekkei genkai of other shinobi nations and use their powers for their own, or on a personal level to compensate for an individual's own lack of power, one cannot deny the appealing aspect of having control and mastery over multiple kekkei genkai; to be a hybrid breed possessing the special secret techniques of many clans throughout the world. This forbidden practice alters the body of the user in such a way as to allow them to integrate the energies and capabilities of a shinobi into their own body and spirit, merging the two together and creating a hybrid mix, the user becoming a "Chimera" and possessing the strength and traits of their multiple mixes. While in theory one would assume this would create the perfect breed, a mixture of all the most powerful genetics, in practice one can never truly master these abilities, and the "Chimera" suffer from having their body's vitality and life force drained upon the strain of merging with foreign Bloodlines.

Prerequisites
400 Stat Average, 1,500 Word Rp, 3 Ability Slots, The user must have completely mastered their Bloodline or Core Ability.

  • The user gains the ability to integrate the secrets and strength of a shinobi into their own body, mind and spirit. Upon gaining this ability, this allows them to gain an additional full Bloodline or Core Ability of the body they absorbed.
  • The user may have up to three full Bloodlines or Core Abilities. Additional BL/CA's can only be acquired through a 1,500 word rp that must be about the user obtaining a body and integrating it's abilities. This rp must have council approval, and if a Core Ability, the user chooses their abilities at the time of obtainment. This Rp can be done once every Five OOC weeks. Once they have their limit of three, the user may reuse this technique to swap out one of their Current Bloodline or Core Abilities for a new one through an Rp.
  • The Chimera's body becomes strained and weakened by merging with other bodies, and the chimera has -2 to both their Hp and Cp Mod for Each Bloodline or Core Ability after their first, up to -4 Hp/Cp.
  • Though the Chimera has multiple Bloodline and Core abilities, all passive buffs, effects and modifiers are reduced by 1/3 if the user has two BL/CA's, or by 1/2 if the user has 3 BL/CA's.
  • Unlike the passive effects which are constantly active, the chimera may only have the full repertoire of Activated techniques, jutsu, styles, or special moves of one BL/CA at a time. The Chimera may switch to another BL/CA at any time as a free action. However, this cannot be done reflexively and gives the user a stackable -1 to all secondaries for the remainder of the round switched and an additional +2 Exhaustion. The Chimera may not maintain any of these techniques upon switching to a different BL/CA, and all effects of that BL/CA are dispelled immediately.[/fontsize]

Though their powers of attuning and linking with chakra is far more powerful and effective with physical bodies and energy, the chimera's ability to sync may also extend to mental limits as well. By attuning their mind to that of a target with a simple gaze, the Chimera may alter and imprint a powerful illusion deep into the mind of the target, the chakra taking the form of red eye-shaped seal upon the forehead of the target, before fading away from view. This allows the chimera to put others in a hypnotic trance while under this Genjutsu, the eye's of the victim glowing red while they carry out the order forced into their mind.

Rank 1: Imprints a command into the mind of the target with +1 DC, giving them a 17% chance per action to carry out that action.
Master Rank : Imprints a command into the mind of the target with +2 DC, giving them a 20% chance per action to carry out that action.

Note:
- Does not use handseals, but requires Eye contact.
- This Genjutsu lasts until the action is successfully performed or the illusion is overwritten.
- Upon use, the user must choose an action they wish their victim to perform.
- They may attempt to cause the victim to use one level 1-6 jutsu of any type upon any target, however the victim must know the technique and the user must have witnessed the technique performed previously during battle to be aware of it. The target can never attack themselves.
- They may attempt to have the victim use an item they have equipped, however it must be either visible or previously used in battle.
- They may attempt to have the victim switch/drop/enter a style.
- They may have the victim remain motionless for 2 Ap.

Naturally having their bodies altered enough to completely absorb the genetic structure and abilities of shinobi, copying the abilities of their lineage, the Chimera are able to use their absorbic capabilities one a smaller scale to drain the energy of victim with a touch, sapping away at their life force and energy while converting it into raw energy to fuel their own hybrid body.

Rank 1: The user drains the energy of a target, Dealing 1220 Hp Damage and 610 Cp damage.
Master Rank: The user drains the energy of a target, Dealing 1460 Hp Damage and 730 Cp damage.

Special Action: The user may choose to focus entirely on Absorbing Hp or Cp damage should they choose. Should they choose Hp only, the Cp damage negated and instead added to Hp damage. Should they focus on Cp, this attack deals no Hp damage, but Cp damage is doubled.

- Does not require handseals, and uses Melee or Ninjutsu accuracy.
- This technique is a Non Elemental Ninjutsu.
- The user gains Hp and Cp equal to 50% of the damage done by this technique.

While their greatest strength by far requires a lengthy absorptive process to retain and comprehend the full genetic material of a shinobi, the skills of a Chimera can also function in a much more time-friendly fashion. By simply touching the skin of living being, the chimera can directly absorb and copy aspects of a target and both understand and use them immediately. However, though very convenient, this method does not allow the chimera to retain the copied aspects of the victim indefinitely nor does it allow them to absorb multiple skills simultaneously, generally fading away shortly after use or when overwritten with a newer power. With training, this allows the Chimera to maintain their stolen skills longer, and even temporarily seal the copied aspect from the source of it themselves.

Rank 1: Allows the Chimera to absorb a Single BL/CA Skill from a target. If they seal their copied skill, the Chimera gains +1 to their Ninjutsu check, and the technique is unusable for one full Round.
Master Rank: Allows the Chimera to absorb a Single BL/CA Skill from a target. If they seal their copied skill, the Chimera gains +2 to their Ninjutsu check, and the technique is unusable for two full Rounds.

Special Action: When replicating a skill, the user may attempt to "Seal" the technique from the target, preventing them from gaining any effects of the chosen skill. This requires a Ninjutsu check between the user and the target, and causes this jutsu to have +50% Initiation cost, and an increased maintain cost for the duration of the "seal".

Note:
- This does not require handseals, and uses Melee or Ninjutsu Accuracy.
- The user may only Copy one BL/CA Skill at a time, if this is used again the skill is overwritten.
- This skill cannot be one they have already, and may only be a Passive/Activated Passive/Special Move effect. Any BL/CA prerequisite for this stolen skill is not applied to the user. This cannot be a Jutsu.

A dark technique granted by their kinjutsu, the Chimera naturally have the ability to merge and absorb the bodies of others and claim their techniques for their own...And naturally, one could assume that their abilities could be used a smaller scale to directly absorb the chakra right out of the air. This technique allows a Chimera to forcibly extract the physical and spiritual energy of another ninja and absorb it by deconstructing it into raw energy. This allows them to understand and learn the technique, allowing them to use the remnants of the energy for limited time to replicate the effects as their own.

Rank 1: Allows the user to breaks down the energy behind a Ninjutsu into raw chakra, and absorb it temporarily. This requires a Ninjutsu check against the attack, and if successful, negates the technique. If unsuccessful, the user has -3 Dodge against the attack. This may only be done on Jutsu's level 1-5.
Master Rank: Allows the user to breaks down the energy behind a Ninjutsu into raw chakra, and absorb it temporarily. This requires a Ninjutsu check against the attack, and if successful, negates the technique. If unsuccessful, the user has -2 Dodge against the attack. This may only be done on Jutsu's level 1-6.

Note:
- This does not require handseals, may be used reflexively, and applies to almost any Offensive Ninjutsu excluding Kinjutsu techniques.
- If unsuccessful and the user is hit, the user take's +10% damage to the technique they attempted to absorb.
- Up to three Jutsu may be memorized, any more will require one to be overwritten.
- If a technique is successfully absorbed, the Chimera may use that jutsu normally for the remainder of battle at the rank it was absorbed.
- This may be used on Most BL/CA Jutsu, however does not apply to ones which require special Bloodline Properties, Such as a Aburame's Bug Ninjutsu, A Toujigikou's Clay Ninjutsu, a Hachiashi's Web Jutsu, a Tsuchimikado's Tag-Jutsu, etc. If the user does not have the needed source, it would not apply.

Cost: Jutsu cost +25% Cp to Absorb. Added chakra only applies if successful.[/fontsize]

A secret technique that may only be performed after a successful use of Infinite Abyss, this technique converts the absorbed energy into light blue flames of pure, dark energy. Though appearing as flames, this jutsu does not appear to have any innate fire-like qualities, or physical properties at all, and passes through all forms of protection while striking both the body and soul of the victim simultaneously. The chakra usage behind this technique is minimal since it primarily draws strength from the absorbed energy, however using this technique removes the energy which allowed the chimera to replicate their absorbed powers, preventing further usage of the absorbed Jutsu.

Rank 1: Shoots a torrent of Sapphire flames upon a target at +1 Accuracy, Dealing 80% of the total damage from all techniques absorbed by Infinite Abyss, as well as chakra damage equal to 25% of the total Damage Absorbed.
Master Rank: Shoots a torrent of Sapphire flames upon a target at +2 Accuracy, Dealing 80% of the total damage from all techniques absorbed by Infinite Abyss, as well as chakra damage equal to 50% of the total Damage Absorbed.

Note:
- This jutsu does not require handseals, but requires at least one Memorized Technique from Inhaling Maw to be sacrificed to perform. Jutsu used in this technique can no longer be used, unless reabsorbed by Infinite Abyss.
- This technique is a "Dark Element" Ninjutsu and bypasses all barriers and damage reduction. This Jutsu may be Buffed by any buffs that would Buff the absorbed Ninjutsu.

The epitome of perfection that all Chimera Strive for; becoming the perfect creation through a mixture of stolen abilities imbued into their bodies and soul. This technique allows a Chimera for a brief time to draw forth all their abilities simultaneously to release a massive aura of chakra that radiates intensely off their bodies, rising off in sparks of energy and granting them capabilities all but unheard of in the world of Shinobi. Their powers in this stage seem to be border-line unbelievable, the capabilities and techniques earned through absorbing the abilities passed down and honed by generations of shinobi becoming little more than party tricks in the seemingly infinite repertoire of skills. However, this increase surge to all their abilities rapidly drains their vitality, and could leave them in a dangerous situation.

Chimera, 525 chakra control, 525 Ninjutsu, More than one BL/CA.

Master Rank: Releases all limits upon their body, forcing themselves into a heightened state of power with simultaneous access to all their abilities. While Active, the user may use All skills from the Bloodline and Core Abilities they may possess, but cannot exhaust below a Fast rate, nor can they recover exhaustion during this time.

Note:
- When active, the user's cumulative BL/CA passive buffs are increased by 1 or 10%. This only applies to Secondary Buffs, Awareness, Stealth, Damage buffs, Damage Reduction, and chakra cost reduction Buffs. Additionally, this cannot stack in anyway or combination (The +10% bonus would not be applied twice if the user had a "Ninjutsu" Buff and "Fire Jutsu" Buff, for example.)
- Should the user activate a combination of Two Bloodline/Ca's with this technique, all Bl/CA Jutsu only deal/block 90% Damage while in this form, and all Buffing/Debuffing effects used from BL/CA are reduced by 1/3.
- Should the user activate all three of their BL/CA's with this technique, all Bl/CA jutsu only deal/block 85% Damage, and all Buffing/Debuffing effects used from BL/CA are halved.
