Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Reito Ko, a young MiT filled with curiosity. On one of his more recent missions, with his sister Shira, he had taken, what was a seemingly sterile egg, back to his house. He had began making experimentation on the unique egg to see what allowed for such exponential development amongst the Sandworms. The egg that he found was probably only a foot tall, but a full grown sand worm was easily hundreds of feet long. What allowed for such growth? Ko's experiments allowed him to see how the egg reacted under certain situations. As he applied heat to the egg, the shell became softer and expanded such an ever slightest. When the boy applied ice to the egg, the shell became stronger, harder, and duller in color. The egg also appeared to condense itself into a slightly smaller form. This made Ko believe that the egg, even though unfertilized, could still develop into a specimen.

Ko pulled out the egg today and once again sat it, upright, on the table. He smiled at the sand-colored zygote. "Hello again, are you ready for today's tests?<i></i> Ko smiled and slid on his elastic operation gloves and slid his apron over his tank top and shorts. The room was a nice 5 degrees in his workshop, and Ko was happy. Walking over to the cabinets, Ko began to hypothesize about what would happen if a knew sensation was exposed to the egg. Smiling, Ko opened up his crystal cabinet and grabbed a radiation crystal. Ko turned back to the egg, full of excitement. pulsating his chakra into the crystal, the radioactive energy began to pulsate back.

The egg, now being exposed to radiation, began to wobble. Ko's eyes filled with excitement. What exactly was going to happen. Ko placed the chakra crystal on the egg and weaved a few handseals. Ninja Art: Mystical Hand no Jutsu! Ko began to send his medical chakra into the egg to feel it's vitals. The same sensation came back to Ko as it always did, nothing. Ko sighed. He turned to face the door as he began to take off his gloves. He was going to leave the egg to allow for it to have more radiation exposure. Right as Ko opened the door, a loud bang came from behind him.

It hatched...

Shira was in the dojo, like usual, practicing her taijutsu. Today she was dressed a little more casually to allow more flexibility during training, she wore a light white t-shirt and an old pair of black capris of sorts, her hands and feet wrapped in bandages. She was working on speed and accuracy as she continually drove her feet and hands into the helpless practice dummy. Shira paused for a moment, giving a genuine smile and sighing. That should be enough for today. She walked over and grabbed a towel from the rack, placing it on her neck, and started to head back to her room, when she was brought out of her calm serenity by a loud bang that was clearly coming from Ko's office down the hall. Shira stopped. She slowly withdrew the towel from her neck and let it fall to the floor. Her head bowed, Shira cracked her knuckles and slowly edged her way to the office.

She reached the door, ignoring the window entirely. She didn't care what would happen, nor was she going to bother checking the lock, Shira lifted her fist and repetitively drove her fist into the metal door, yelling words with each accentuated punch. "Ko. How. Many. Times. Have. I. Said. Not. To. Blow. Up. My. House!" With the final blow to the door, Shira noticed it was off it's lock enough to force it open. She stepped inside, chest heaving from fury, ready to pummel the trollop. Before she could utter a word though, she stopped and focused on the thing that was on Ko's work table. Her eyebrows strunching up in confusion, her eyes slightly narrowing, and her lip pursing, Shira stepped forward and stopped in from of the worm thingy. She kneeled down until her eyes where level with the worm. "What's this thing?" Shira reached out and poked it's face. It changed colors. It was more of a fire color now.

Shira quirked an eyebrow. Interesting." She poked it again, it changed to a black and blue refined color.

Shira scowled. "Ew, absolutely not. It's blue. This thing is blue!" Shira might have forcably poked the thing too hard as she poked it again. It seemed to be getting slightly aggitated with her. But it did indeed change color again. This time it changed to a silver, white and red rendition of it's previous appearance.

Shira smiled, it was beautiful. "I approve of you." Shira stood and the worm thing stuck a weird blue tongue out at her. Shira had to keep her composure to a minimum, but she smiled anyway. Not caring what Ko would do, she picked up the small worm thing, which remained the red and black color, and ran out of the room. "Mine!" The slamming of Shira's door would be heard as she reached it. She set the worm on the ground and sat down next to it, crossing her legs indian style. She grinned, her fangs poking out. "Excellent."

Ko's heart was pounding enough already, but the beating of his door made his heart stop. Ko panicked, quickly trying to figure out what to do, the door came flying down. Ko completely froze. He was afraid that Shira was going to kill him. He slowly watched shira poke the creature. Astounding, as she touched it, the larva seemed to react to Shira's chakra. He sighed, hopefully she was leaving soon, but of course she did something he hated. She stole his baby sand worm. He sighed and stood back up.

Knocking on Shira's door, ever so politely, Ko began to ask for his experiment back. "NODERU, NODERU, NODERU! BITCH GIVE HIM BACK!!!<i></i> Ko's body radiated the shivering cold. The house itself probably dropped ten degrees. His eyes shimmered like water. He Reared up on of his legs and yelled. "Karma!"<i></i> Kicking as hard as he could, Ko forced the door down and he glared over at Shira. He extended one hand and pointed at his palm with the other. "If you'd be so kind..."<i></i>

Shira knew Ko would be mad, but abusing that stupid seal around her neck was way to low a blow. Shira felt her face repeatatively being driven further into the floor and then of all thing, that little bastard destorys her door. It was one thing when she destroyed her own property, it was another completely when he destroyed her propery. That, and it sent shrapnel all over her room. Shira growled when she heard him ask for the worm back 'politely.' Shira calmly sat up and then angrily tore on the collar. "I've had it with this damn thing!" Shira dug her nails in and used all her strength to attempt to rip it off. "I am not dealing with this shit anymore!" The cold was already freezing her neck past critical levels. Shira kept pulling and could feel it starting to give a little bit, but the ice burst on her neck and forced her hands away from the collar. Her neck was bleeding profusely, but the utter chill and her own defenses were slowing it. It wasn't painful, but she just sat in festering hatred. "You're not killing it."

She picked up the worm and held it close to her body. "Besides, you have Shizo, she's an experiment right? Go put her in a display case." Shira had little care that she was acting like a child. This thing was adorable. She glared at Ko and stood up. "What do I get if I willingly hand it over?"

Ko's eyes glared at the girl. what the hell did she think she could do? all she was going to do was hurt herself. He sighed as he watched the blood trickled down her neck. He closed his eyes and tried to put a smile on his face. "We've been through this before. Shizo is a student of mine, a protege if I may. She isn't an experiment for me to tinker with either. Oh and that thing in your arms, that's a Sandworm larva, though it is mutated and it shouldn't be alive. I'm making sure that it doesn't become blood thirsty and kill you."<i></i> Opening his eyes, the boy let out another drawn out sigh. The temperature in the room warmed up. "I'm not trying to kill it, nor do I have the intention to kill it, but for all we know it could be giving you cancer. It hatched with radiation..."<i></i> Ko felt as if Shira wouldn't care.

"I'll get you an extra O- on Monday."<i></i>

Shira rolled her eyes when Ko tried to refute the girl as nothing more than a student. We all knew that girl was far too much of a pest for anyone to want around. Of course there was some kind of twisted experiment going one and Shira would continue to believe that. She looked over the worm as Ko 'explained' how 'evil' and 'dangerous' it was. Well, Shira was a blood thirsty killer techinically, she just was trained not to kill people. That's why there hadn't been any more accidents.

Shira watched as the worm curled itself into a ball and she gradually tossed it back and forth in her hands. A baby sandworm could potentially be dangerous, but Shira would risk that. And Ko's proposition of what she would get from the deal was lacking considering she could probably find a snack anywhere else. "Put a seal on it then. Do you even know for sure that all sand worms are killers? I'm keeping it." Shira stopped tossing it and placed it on her shoulder. "Right, Hakai?" She pet the worm and smiled. It grumbled back. "See, he totally agrees. I'll even train him. Can't be that hard after all and I'm sure you can stunt it's growth somehow. As long as you don't kill it, I'll give him back, but I want him as a pet." Shira placed her hands on her hips and stuck her tongue out. Yep, now she was just purposely being a pain to deal with.

Ko sighed, She was being a pain in the ass. He looked up to his foster sister and smiled. "Gotcha!" Ko began to melt, as a swift air current would shoot over Shira's head. Ko had performed a Ice Substitution Jutsu allowing him to appear behind the girl and take back the experiment. He landed beside the door and turned back to smirk at shire. "Mine."<i></i>

Getting back into his lab, Ko placed the worm in a bin and began fixing his door. Pushing it back up to the doorway, Ko sent a line of ice to hold it up until he could properly fix it. Then the boy slid across the ice covered ground and back over to his worm. He smiled at it as he weaved a few hand seals. Ko placed his hands over the worm and began to make a ice cage. "Perfect."<i></i> The small boy picked up the worm and walked to the other side of the room before putting the worm in a cabinet. When Ko shut the door he pulled out a piece of paper and pressed it against the wood. Ninja Art: Advanced Element Sealing no Jutsu He smiled as black lettering began to spread across the cabinet and onto the others. He had sealed the door shut with a seal that only a few knew how to unseal. Ko smiled and turned back to the door, releasing the ice on it. The small white haired boy walked over to the main door shouting, "I've got to go to the market, Be right back!"<i></i> and he was gone.

Shira stood staring at the door as Ko ran out with the worm. She shrugged and threw herself, belly first, onto her bed and picked up some of her reading material. "Oh well." Skimming through some of the text on the page, her mind was drug in a different direction. "Maybe I can get a dog, with sharp fangs, maybe a spiked collar. Or something more deadly maybe. Meh." She let her thoughts trail off before rolling over onto her back and staring at the ceiling. After a few moments, she sat up, having heard Ko yell that he was going to the market. "Nobody cares. Don't come back safe!" Shira laughed until she looked at her room, still covered in wood chips, and the empty door frame. "Damn it, I forgot about the door." Shira walked into her closet and pulled out another one, setting it on the old hinges and quickly repairing it. "Good thing I keep spares." After a quick clean up, Shira went back to reading, not caring if or when Ko would even get back. More space if he didn't.
