What a dance it was, right? It was like you had to be skilled to waltz around the words that someone said in such a manner. Then again, it did not take very much to simply sit down and ignore everything that a person said to forward another's own advances. It seemed that all the Sennin but Hissori were a bit upset in this case, and that almost made her chuckle. It was one thing to be upset, another to demean another person's stature and standing. At his point, there were two people in the room that struggled to do even that without causing a fit of laughter at their expense. With one leg crossed over the other, hands folded in her lap as she sat back, comfortable as her crystalline blues examined the people encased there within the room, she would proceed with a small smirk. Let them embarrass themselves. After all, if someone did not listen to the words that another person spoke, they deserved to turn blue in the face at their speaking. The first problem that Haruka could address was that Kamaru did not know all of the people of his branch, whereas Haruka could name a vast amount of faces within the village. Immediately, the man would be crossed off of her list. Pulling out a notebook, she would flip it open and place it down. In her hand, she would grab a pen and begin scribbling down little factoids that Kamaru would provide to her. Her blonde strands of hair would fall down over her shoulder and she would move her unoccupied hand up to brush it back to fall down her back. Obtuse, unable to listen, did not have a personal connection with those within his branch... Those were the first things that she would place down within the unlined pages of the notebook and she would lift her gaze up, one eyebrow raising as he continued on with his tirade. How long would this take now? It was a surprise that people were still awake within the room. Surely he had his concerns, but they were obsolete concerns that would've been wiped away if he had actually listened to what she had stated. Another laughable thing, right? Mhm. Clearing her throat now, she would tap the pen against the paper. Long winded... Another thing that needed to be written down. "I do not need your forgiveness, so do not forgive my bold nature." She would suddenly state very plainly, her voice filling the room with much more than his ever could have.
"But what do you know if you do not listen to a word that I state? You seem to be indebted to your past endeavors, to what you have seen prior to when we have been seated here." Lifting up her pen, she would point it in his direction now. "I need none of your long winded speeches filled with nothing more but speculation, trials, tribulation. You did not listen to a word that I stated when I entered this room, so the fact that I am even gifting you with a response is out of my good graces alone." Her tone suddenly became frigid as she watched him. "This is the issue. You and your companion are both subserviant to a force by which I cannot see. That's unfortunate, but I will not let whatever force that may be impede any progress that this village could have had in the time that you all would elect wasting our precious time here within our walls. Without a doubt, this must have been why your previous village failed." The woman would now purse her lips, the ice within her eyes only hardening with the ire that the man was offering to her. "And what is considered outsider filth to you? For I have worked very closely with this so called outsider filth that you attempt to address to me. Let me be the very first to state right here, and right now: To both of you, you do not know me, for you have only seen the political side of me. Do not get your facts twisted, nor get yourself too hyped up. I may have attended the same academy lessons with Endo, but you do not have any right to lump me in with a man whom has threatened our illustrious village. That is ignorance in it's finest stance, and I will have you removed if you do not find yourself thinking about what you say before you say it." She could very well toss this pen right between his eyes if she so felt like it, but because she was calm, she would not. After all, did there need to be more chaos? No, there did not. However, it seemed that Megami and Kamaru were incredibly intent on making even more chaos in the light of these situations. Thankfully, there was good old Buru there to make everything feel a bit better. Her hands would scratch at the back of his ears as she stroked along his fur. Something to keep her calm in the midst of all of the stupidity that was running rampant within this situation. "I'm sorry that you've had to deal with failed Daimyo in your past, but that's not of my concern right now. So don't act like your terrible experiences in the past are going to impede my future here."
"Although you tell me that our best options are throwing our strongest men and women into a cesspool of fighting and even more chaos, I'm going to repeatedly tell you that you are wrong for thinking such a thing is necessary now. You are wrong in your speech, and you wasted your duration of your speech because you chose not to listen to someone who has had far more experience leading a country than both of you two combined. What have the both of you done with your time in finding that Endo looked to begin a war with us, his people, as the instruments? You sat around. You did nothing but idle talk. And we all know that the talk of a fool is cheap." The pen would continue writing along the notebook, putting down more and more little factoids that she would come across now. It seemed as though Megami was in a similar boat as Kamaru, as both opted to not listen to her as she entered. It seemed that the only person here with any kind of sense was going to be Hissori. How strange, right? Listening to the speech that Buru, the dog oddly enough, would put down in front of all of them, she would shake her head just lightly in amusement. Hands upon her shoulders would cause her gaze to be cast upwards and she would find herself now looking at the man known as Nakamura Hira, and she would reach up, placing her unoccupied hand overtop of his. Support, no matter where it came from, was amazing. It simply meant that she was doing something right here, and the two "Sennin" who chose not to listen were finding themselves falling further and further into a pool of bullshit and lies that they filled themselves. It seemed that they, not only extruding it from all of their orifices, were quite full of bullshit. That much was not going to be Haruka's problem as she took on the power that she had laid claim to. Do not make one person do all of the work whilst sitting on your backside. It just made people more and more irate. Her lips would twist into a small smile, even as Koyoko and Gasu would find their way into the fray here. The more, the merrier, the more people who showed up, the more chaos. Not something that Miss Haruka was not used to at this point. Clearing her throat, she would lift up her gaze to look at Koyoko.
"The two may stay. Nakamura Hira is the blood of my blood. He may take whatever stance he wishes, and it seems as though Ryujin Gasu is the blood of your blood as well. I have no problem with my people being here, and if the Sennin find any issue... They need to re-evaluate their policies towards their people." Bringing her hand down, she would press it to her chest with a small bow of her head, a clone materializing from the ice that ran through the woman's blood. The clone would step through everyone there, reaching out to attempt to place a hand just lightly against Gasu's shoulders. Through the clone, Haruka would speak: "Your opinion, no matter how young nor what rank you may be, is valued. Please always remember as such, Ryujin Gasu. You may stay here if you so choose."
"Hissori-san, please. Take a deep breath. All are welcome if they so choose." Haruka would convey to the Medical Sennin as she offered a small smile in his direction. "And your words make much more sense than anyone else's here, if I may add. It seems that we have someone in our midst that is stable of mind." She would speak out of surprise. It seemed that the village had done something right in choosing one of their leaders. How strange it was that a Mist born would be the one to show so much more common sense than anyone else sitting here, and he had not even been in the position of power for long enough. Now, it left her mind to wonder what Keita had been up to at this very point in time. Hmm... "We must understand that no matter what Megami and Kamaru say, they have seen nothing but failed leadership. Not only in the mirror, but in their Kage as well. They forget that they are expendable in every sense of the word." A small, sarcastic laugh would leave her amethyst painted lips as she addressed the two of them with her narrowed eyes. Even if she did not leave this place as the Kage, she would make sure that neither of them would live to see their coronation day if they attempted. After all, why let people who did not listen, who were ignorant, and above all else, within Endo's cabinet, to lead? They may have very damn well been in accordance with Endo, but perhaps she did not need to lay that out on the table? Ah, it couldn't hurt now, could it? With the pen draped across the paper and her stature sat straight up, she would press her lips into a harsh line now. If they continued pushing their ignorance and ill advised notions, they would probably soon find themselves within a scroll all their own as well. However headless, she would digress from such thoughts. After all, you never knew who could be a mind reader in such situations even if it was absolutely improbable to be. With the entrance of yet another shinobi hollering about her transgressions, Haruka would push herself up to a standing position, one heel tapping against the ground as she stood, and she would lift a hand, the clone that had been created to console Gasu dissipating into a pile of ice shards now. She would drag in a breath, and release it in one swift motion of her diaphragm and she would withdraw a scroll that had been bound at her hip now as she looked around the room.
"Dear, if you are to call me a bitch, I would nyx the 'lady' you so gracefully offered in the beginning of your speech. I did not do this to offer myself fame, nor glory. I did not ask for money in return for killing Inu Endo." She tossed the scroll over to Kitanai now as she looked over at the woman. It was the scroll that contained Inu Endo's head, and the woman could have it if she so desired. She could claim to have killed the Kage. That did not bother her at all. It gave her no worry in the world. "I killed him so I could ravel up the red threads of fate that Endo had been weaving. I killed him because he attacked me." Laying her hands down on the table, the woman straightened up her back. Her spine would pop rhythmically at her straightening up and she would close her eyes for a moment. "I did it to protect my family, my friends, and my people from war. So be it if the underworld finds it more than necessary to fight me, for I will fight every single one of them without a single issue. No one knows the means that I will go through to defend this village and country. Anyone who claims that they do know may find themselves going to hell for lying." She would clear her throat now and she would place herself back down into a sitting position. Kitanai could have the head of Endo, that didn't bother her. Carrying grizzly reminders of death was hard for Haruka when she experienced the joy of life given to her in the form of her son. Even if death followed her non-stop, then she would continue her fight. It didn't matter to Haruka if she had to skin her own hands raw to defend these people. Even if they would not accept it. She would push herself into the fire and the flames for these people and simply offer them herself in return. It was not something that someone in a blissful state of ignorance such as Kamaru or Megami could see. After all, they were not the ones who had to dirty their pristine hands to make a statement within this village. "You do not know what I know, so do not come in here and claim that I don't know the deep and dark parts of a village exist. It's the first thing that comes to mind when I think of the village and country that I once governed. I have fought with the creatures of the night. I have danced with devils to save the things that I care for such as one of my team members. There are more fuels to the nightmare here than you could fathom, and I have been up close and personal with many of them. So be it if they wish to fight me once again. I will give them one hell of a fight, whether it be with my fists or my words." Steepling her fingers, she would place her chin down on the bridge that they had made and she would look around the room.
"ENOUGH!" The woman would speak loudly, "Who are you to tell these people to leave, Ryujin Koyoko? I want them here now, and you will leave them here, or escort yourself out. I already made it clear. Hira, do not threaten harm against the woman for I know that her intentions, although misguided, are pure enough." She would look around the room and rub at her temples. This was okay with her, but she wondered just how long people could hang on within the chaos. "All men, all women, they all deserve to know what happens with their village. This is a very simple fact. I wish that you all would see it as well, or does your secret-ism spell out your loyalties to Inu Endo?" Tapping her finger against her lip now, she would lean back with ease. Her arms wrapping carefully around Reishii, she would give a small smile. Okay, she was fine. Especially with her insanely adorable adopted daughter around. It did not bother her, but if a fight broke out, she would show absolutely no mercy at this point.
"Oh, you know, Rei-chan, I'm just dealing with the chaos as it comes. This is no party, but rather just a pissing contest it seems." Hah.
"Now, will you all allow me to do as Medical Sennin Ii Hissori stated, or are you still going to push a notion of pitting all of our strongest into a battle while battle may be coming for us? I can argue why that would be wrong to do all day long, you know."
[ I had about 2k words before you guys chose to jump ship on any kind of posting order, so I'm still following through with that. ]
